A friend of mine who has been living in the Netherlands for YEARS, speaks fluent Dutch and is now a Dutch citizen was sent away by the security guard because he showed a "residence permit" as proof of identity. According to the security guard, this would not be valid and he was denied access. As someone who works in security (grey pass) and often comes into contact with this, I am deeply ashamed of such people. A foreigner's document and therefore a residence permit are valid proof of Dutch identity. Another funny fact is that a group of boys are checked in front of us and then let in by means of a photo of their ID on their phone, which is not a legally valid way of identifying yourself. I would recommend a refresher course in basic security law and regulations for the gentlemen standing at the door. Disgusting behavior.

It's been one big ball tent since this management has been in place. A while ago I came in football clothes I had to put something else on or I wouldn't get in because it's club clothes and yesterday I was there again there were 3 people in club clothes inside I suspect that this is big cronyism as long as you can get along with certain people there and if there are complaints about this because people almost get into fights because of it nothing is done because apparently the staff there is always busy with other things

Friendly atmosphere. Ridiculous coat check policy: €2.50 for a coat, and if you put it down somewhere, the staff takes it away and it's suddenly €5 for a coat.

I have been living in the Netherlands for over seven years, of which over four years in Goes. It actually feels like my hometown. As a Scot, I have never experienced such behavior from a security guard. He asked for my ID, and I showed my Dutch driver's license, but that was not enough. Then I showed my residential permit, but even that was not enough. I was separated from my friends because I am a foreigner. This is not the first time this has happened. I am usually very easygoing, but this is really unacceptable.

Honestly looks like a daycare. Worthless store, even difficult to find an Aussie. Once and never again.

The drinks are pretty cheap for a nightlife venue. The staff is also nice. It's a bit small, though.

Since the new owners, the atmosphere has been very good, there is a team that likes to party. The music is also varied DJs who know how to set the mood. Security is also good. If you want to party for an evening, you should go to Feestcafe De Kelder

If you want to party for an evening, you should definitely go to party café De Cellar! The staff is friendly, the drinks are tasty and it's always a party. I really enjoy coming there since the new owners. Highly recommended. PS: they have very tasty shots!

I DJ as a DJ in various businesses. But I really think this is the best thing! Friendly staff and the atmosphere is great!

Since the cellar was taken over by this young couple, the atmosphere has been great. The tastiest drinks, great offers and always good music! Highly recommended ;).

Recently rented the basement for 2 hours for a karaoke party. We had very nice contact in advance and were also welcomed very warmly and pleasantly! Was great 👌

What a misery it has become! No longer welcome after 3 o'clock and coats are required to be hung up in a corner at the very back. First pushing through the crowd to hang up your coat, only to be met with a big mouth and it's ridiculously hot in there.

I thought I'd give it another chance... How could they screw up that place so much. Bavaria on tap, that's already a big minus. In addition, they know how to ruin every nice song with a nice structure with a plain bad drop. Staff was fine, nice people. Maybe just need another DJ😉

That one star is for the security at the door who let me go to the toilet to get paper for a 16-year-old girl who had gotten completely drunk in the basement party café. Incredibly bad that no IDs are asked and that drinks are simply served to minors. My friend and I had to carry her to the market so that she could be picked up by her parents. Enforcement was also passed by twice. They took a quick look and didn't lift a finger. It's scandalous how the youth are cared for in Goes!

The bartender is aggressive. Security had put our coat behind the bar and the bartender wouldn't give it back. After he almost headbutted one of us, we finally got our coats back after a long discussion. In addition, the basement is also full of children. Stay away from here.

Children (-18y) partying here while they say it’s 18+. Also the staff is very aggressive, headbumped one of our friends on the tap while she was just asking for our coats. Stay away from here!!!

Aggressive handling. Bartender even became aggressive towards women. One big RED FLAG, stay away from here! For the rest, there are teenagers around here, so if that's your thing, great!

Cozy bar, good prices, unfortunately the beer was really substandard in taste.

Nice atmosphere! Very smoky inside, but a warm atmosphere :) Beer was a minus, tastes a bit stale…. In short, a great tent!
