I had coffee to go, and the coffee was undrinkable. It was disgusting. They're obviously known for their iced coffees and such, but they shouldn't be serving black coffee!

For specialty coffee, this is the place to be. It's a great coffee bar, delicious pastries, the baristas are all around, and we had a nice chat with the owner.

Here you can drink the very best coffee in all of Leeuwarden. The pastries are also great, they even have (delicious) almond croissants 🥐 The atmosphere is very nice, the service is top notch and Fer (and the girls) know the drill when it comes to the barista profession. Highly recommended!

Legitimately and without a doubt the BEST coffee spot in the entire north! Amazing people who know what they’re doing and they love doing it. Also one of the only places in europe I have received a decent matcha latte!

FER Koffie is my favorite place in Leeuwarden. The staff is more than friendly and helpful, the place looks cozy and nice, nice things are sold (some of which are made by local small entrepreneurs), the coffee (and the rest) is top notch and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is good and welcoming.

Fer is the best coffee spot in Leeuwarden!! Not only is the atmosphere and design great and relaxing, but also fer is such a nice guy who is soo friendly to all his customers and greets everyone with a welcoming smile! I come here to study and relax with friends regularly and the experience is great everytime. The apple pie is wonderful and be sure to try the special chai latte, with coco lavender and other spices🤭

Great place with the best Chai latte in Leeuwarden! We regularly come here for a drink and to sit and relax. The atmosphere is relaxed and a bit homely. They also have very tasty chocolate for sale. Definitely recommended.

I entered the shop and a dog came towards me. I'm terrified of it myself. No one paid attention and noticed my discomfort, but I quickly left the business. This was a terrible experience

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, you can feel human bond. I like filter coffee, mild and clean taste (Kenya washed). Cookie with salty pistachios is soooo delicious. Also tried Hojicha latte, which is not so commonly offered in café, like it as well!

The person who made my coffee is a perfectionist. He brewed a coffee for me, but didn't think the quality was good enough, so he produced it again and even let me taste the difference. That was class!

Unfortunately it was already closed when we walked past it, but it looks beautiful! Would have liked to get a pound of coffee.

Absolutely awesome. The coffee was delicious and the pastries were good too. But the service in particular was outstanding. The boss served himself and does an extremely good job. Going to the café is really fun. Hopefully I'll come back to Leewarden.

The worst coffee to go I have ever tasted. The order was Iced coffee with caramel but all I tasted was water with ice. It looked like water with a caramel color, with 7 lumps of ice. After 3 sips we threw it away next to the car and were left with a hangover from paying €9.20 for this stuff.

We are a regular at Fer since 2022. It is hands down the best coffee spot in town! Their expertise about coffee is vast and truly impressive. At their old location, we would have coffee cupping which deepened our appreciation for specialty coffee. Whether you’re in the mood for coffee, chai tea or matcha, every sip is delightful. Highly recommended!

It was yesterday that I discovered this shop, when I entered there was a lot of fun! We drank matcha for the first time and we were not disappointed... an explanation was even given where matcha came from and time was taken for us. All in all a very nice coffee bar with lovely people!

Had a really great experience at Fer. Amazing coffee, great selection of coffee beans and chocolate for sale, as well as a wide range of equipment. I'm regularly in Leeuwarden, so every time I'm here I'll pop by for a great coffee and buy some beans. Next to a great oat cappuccino I also bought a great chocolate from Uganda We were even greeted by a cute dog when we entered, which is something I wish more places had!

Had my best cup of coffee in Leeuwarden (with pretty fair price). The cafe owner is really cool. Before I walked in, he was having a chat with a customer in Dutch. They saw me and switched to English, not that it had anything to do with me, just to make me feel included. It was touching. I hadn't realized how panic I am living in an environment where I don't understand the language at all. I just force myself to ignore that panic and get used to it. He didn't have to do that, and no one had done it for me before. Thanks a lot.

Wat een ontzettende gezellig vibe bij Fer Koffie! De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en voorziet je van informatie van elk product zodat je de koffie (in mijn geval chai) zo goed mogelijk ervaart. Echt een aanrader!

Erg aardige mensen en prima koffie ( flat white). Barista luistert naar de opmerking van de klant en probeert gelijk een aanpassing. Ook goede uitleg over hoe hij de machine gebruikt en welke koffie. Schenkt op verzoek ook in porselein. Ik zal hier zeker vaker komen. Zit gelijk naast TUI reizen, je loopt het zaakje makkelijk voorbij en dat zou jammer zijn want dan mis je een lekker bakkie.

I've only been here once while visiting a friend in Leeuwarden but Fer made me feel as if I've come here for ages. The minute you walk in I assure you, you will be a happier person because you'll be greeted with Fer's warm enthusiasm. He has created an awesome spot here where he provides the best cup of coffee.
