I *know* what a club sandwich looks like. So, I ordered one for lunch with a friend. We both found it unappetizing. It was unclear whether we were eating egg, chicken, or tomato. Some kind of salad had been thrown in between. And the plate was garnished with half a bag of prawn crackers. Why? Just a scoop of salad or lettuce on the side. With other guests ordering a hamburger, we saw half a plate of paprika chips. Is that something new again? With one drink each and a portion of fries on the side, we had to shell out 45 euros. Quite a lot, then...

We arrived on Tuesday, September 8th at 9:45 PM, but unfortunately the kitchen was closed, so we couldn't eat... but a huge shout-out to the blonde waitress with her hair pulled back! She was incredibly kind and recommended a nearby restaurant that was also delicious. Thank you so much to her; without her, we would have starved! 🙏🙏 We'll be back soon to try this place and see if the drinks and food are as good as she was to us.

Cozy brasserie with a beautiful interior and a nice terrace. The menu offers an extensive selection of very high quality. They have never disappointed us, even when it is extremely busy. The service is always excellent, and the young staff is cheerful and spontaneous. Well worth a visit.

Nice, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I went here for lunch and ordered the burrata. Unfortunately, I found the portion really too small, with only a very small piece of bread on the side. As a result, I left hungry. The other lunch dishes I saw passing by looked much better in terms of portion size. So, unfortunately, I regret my choice.

Phew, what an unpleasant experience. First of all, I want to share that everything written about the attitude of the staff and, above all, the owners themselves, is true here. Incredibly self-important people who think they are better and superior to the people they earn money from, and how..... Tried something different with the kids today. My daughter had searched online and only this restaurant was open in Uden. A bit on the expensive side, but oh well, it's the last day of vacation, so let's just go there. There was a young lady who could laugh, and the rest walked around as if they were poorly paid. All young ladies, by the way. Cheap labor. I ordered a cocktail for 9 euros. With the first sip, I immediately noticed that there was hardly any/no alcohol in it. Just for the record, it was the first one that day after a fun afternoon at Hemelrijk. I pointed this out to the waitress; I cannot accept this like this. After all, I'm paying 9 euros for it. It was no problem, she said. She took the glass away and brought it back shortly afterwards. Nothing else was discussed. At the next table, for example, I indicated that I would be happy to order another one, but that it had to contain what was on the menu. "Of course, no problem," was said again. We had dinner. Otherwise, despite the high prices, nothing to complain about here; for a cafe/restaurant, it is okay. I walked inside to settle the bill properly. They had put 5.50 euros worth of extra drinks on the bill. I thought, what are you pulling on me now? So I calmly indicated that I hadn't ordered that. First, the young lady behind the bar started an argument. Then the waitress came over and started an argument, and when she got heated, one of the owners jumped in. After his first sentence, I immediately understood where the mentality of the rest of the staff came from. I remained calm until he got angry with me and raised his voice. "Never come back," he said. Phew, I was ripped off right before my eyes and... Reacting like that was going too far for me. I paid and hurled the card reader back at him. Owner two came over acting aggressively and called me a fucking crazy person. While I was on my way out. He even chased after me to cause a scene on the terrace. Oh well, but that’s what you get. And my children learned a lesson today. Not to let themselves be cheated by restaurateurs who would rather rip off customers than speak to them politely and calmly come up with a solution. I have truly never experienced anything like this before, and we go out to eat almost every week. Non-alcoholic cocktails, and if you say anything about it (or one with alcohol or something else), you are simply charged for shots that weren't ordered and weren't communicated. Furthermore, I read in the owners' comments that they like to twist stories. For example, I want to respond. Everything else these men claim is a lie. Dear people, be on your guard in this matter. There are many older people there, easy prey for these scammers. Kind regards, That gentleman who refused to be scammed and insulted.

It was quite busy in the restaurant. But we didn't notice it at all. Super friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. Good organization. The food was delicious!! We had a fantastic evening with friends at Floryn

What a lovely place! We came here for lunch; the terrace was quite full, but we were still able to find several spots. We were noticed quickly, and our ordered drinks arrived very fast too! Great! I had asked how they make the club sandwich, and fortunately, it turned out to be done the way it should be, and indeed, a great sandwich! All in all, this is a very good restaurant: excellent staff and very good dishes. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful afternoon we had here on the Markt. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. The dishes not only looked beautiful but also tasted truly exquisite. The presentation of the dessert in the green glass really stood out to us. It was a feast on the table. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful presentation of everything that was served. We will certainly be back here soon for another round. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something delicious to eat in Uden. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Floryn is the restaurant in Uden where you can enjoy a delicious meal as well as have a cozy drink. The dishes are prepared with care, and the selection is structured so that a small or large group can make a choice quite easily. So there is always something for everyone. Additionally, the location and atmosphere are very pleasant. No matter what time of day you visit Floryn, there is always a truly convivial atmosphere. Floryn contributes to Uden's urban allure but remains village-like and friendly. Costs: depending on how extravagant you get Reservations: for a large group of 10 or more, I would recommend calling to discuss your wishes.

Very beautiful restaurant, very efficient service and kitchen. The food was well-balanced and the portions were perfect.

Our experience at Floryn was downright disappointing. The biggest problem wasn't even that the order hadn't gone through properly, but the way it was handled. When we received the bill, it turned out to be much higher than expected. We politely pointed out that we felt this was incorrect, but instead of understanding, an argument ensued immediately. The employee reacted very unfriendly and ended the conversation with: “I am not going to discuss this further with you.” We found that very unprofessional and customer-unfriendly. Additionally, we felt rushed during our meal. We weren't even allowed to temporarily place our small handbag on an empty table next to us, even though no one was sitting there and our own table was completely full of food. We found that anything but hospitable. What also struck us was that there was a camera hanging in the restroom. That gave us a strange and uncomfortable feeling. We came for a pleasant evening out for dinner, but left with an unpleasant feeling. Mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable to us. For us, this is the first and the last time we have been here.

Enjoyed some drinks and food on the terrace

Top spot in the heart of Uden! We had a delicious lunch here today and enjoyed it immensely. Upon arrival, we were already greeted warmly by the staff on the outdoor terrace, which immediately created a good first impression. Because it was nice and cool inside, we opted for a table indoors and we absolutely did not regret it. The establishment is beautifully decorated, stylish, spacious, and features a lovely open kitchen that immediately inspires confidence. Everything looked clean, well-maintained, and arranged down to the last detail. You can tell that attention is paid to both atmosphere and detail here. The staff truly deserves a compliment. Friendly, hospitable, and service-oriented, with perfect timing—exactly as you would hope. You feel truly welcome here. And then the lunch itself: exactly what we came for, and certainly a success. No fuss or overdone dishes, just honest, fresh, and flavorful food. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, which completes the picture. All in all, a lovely place where everything is just right. Definitely recommended and absolutely a place we will return to!

This is absolutely ridiculous. €11.50 for a portion of cheese sticks. Where is this heading?? Not luxury, homemade, somewhat special cheese sticks. No. Just exactly the same junk bought from the wholesaler where chip shops get their stuff too. Eleven euros fifty! Give me a break! Prices are no longer justifiable. People! Stop paying this!

Our first disappointing experience in the Netherlands We love visiting the Netherlands and spend almost every weekend there. In all our visits, we have always found people to be friendly, welcoming, and family-oriented. Unfortunately, this restaurant was a very different experience. From the moment we arrived and asked whether a table was available for our family of seven (four adults and three children), we felt unwelcome. The children were quietly standing next to us holding their scooters, yet the waitress immediately asked, "Is there a way you can keep your children from running around?" At that point, they weren't even moving. We were then seated in a dark, empty room while other guests were comfortably dining in the main areas of the restaurant. Throughout the meal, the waitress repeatedly came to our table, at least four or five times, asking whether we wanted more food or drinks. Despite politely declining each time, we felt pressured to keep ordering, which made us uncomfortable. Toward the end of the meal, our children were happily laughing together and moving between our table and the empty table beside us in that same room which was entirely empty and barely even used by staff. There were no other diners around to be disturbed, yet the waitress came over and asked us to stop our children from making noise, as if children had an on/off switch. At that point, we felt it was clear that families with children were simply not welcome. We paid the bill and left. It's a shame because the food was actually very good (though quite expensive), and we would have happily stayed for dessert. However, the overall atmosphere and the way our family was treated completely overshadowed the quality of the meal. This is the first time we have experienced anything like this in the Netherlands. If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant where children are genuinely welcome, this will not be the place for you.

We visit Florijn every week and they never disappoint us. The food is always delicious and you can sit there peacefully without feeling like time is running out. The staff is always friendly, and the fact that most of the staff have been working there for a long time says something too. See you again soon.

We ended up here after a strenuous hike and hadn't made a reservation, yet we were assigned a table so we could rest sufficiently before continuing. So we had a drink here and ate very well and was plentiful. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

On Wednesday, June 10th, around 7:30 pm, I went to Floryn for dinner with a business partner. The waitress immediately informed us that the restaurant was full. I pointed out that it was only half full and there were plenty of seats available, as we wanted to eat quickly and return to the hotel. The waitress said, "We're not making any more tables available today," and asked us to leave. The question is, why? Am I too old (67 years old), unattractive, or was my business partner too dark-skinned? Work brought us to Uden; otherwise, I would never have considered staying overnight there. Incidentally, Uden is beautiful, and its inhabitants are friendly. Nevertheless, I'm giving it 3 stars because I suspect the waitress who sent us away doesn't represent all of Floryn's offerings.

You can't go wrong here! The food is delicious and the service is incredibly friendly! Our favorite base when we are in Uden.

The grand cafe is customer-unfriendly now that there is new staff. People are not welcome. They are not even allowed to sit at the bar.

We come here a few times a year; it is a very beautiful place with an equally beautiful terrace, and the food is always excellent as well.

We hadn't even been sitting for an hour when the employee came over to us saying this table was reserved in 15 minutes. I felt chased away and they were not friendly. Next time, please put up a sign or indicate it in advance!

I was there a couple of weeks ago and spoke briefly with the former owner. The food was delicious, and even though it looks like there isn't much of it, it leaves you feeling quite full. This is highly recommended. And I will definitely be back again, even though it's almost an hour's drive.

Had a nice meal; the Bruschetta as a starter is delicious. The main course is around €25.00, and you still have to order fries and salad separately, as there is only a little bit of vegetable on the plate. One portion of fries is enough for two people. Tasty desserts, nice size. There was a crack in my husband's beer glass; he had already poured. He received a new glass but had to pour it himself; one of the staff members could have done this as well. Tasty desserts! Strawberry Romanof and Tiramisu, fortunately not too small.

The food was fine, but I had a salad and everything listed on the menu wasn't in it. I had prawns, cucumber, and lettuce, and that for €18. It certainly wasn't a meal salad for that price. The service was slow, and they walked past us a few times while our table was full of empty plates. Otherwise, they were friendly and the atmosphere was good.

We had made a reservation for 12 people. The staff is quick to assist you and is very friendly. The food tasted delicious and the portions are sufficient.

Really nice place, but the staff give you weird looks if you walk in wearing work clothes. I sometimes go there for dinner with my nieces when we are working together on Saturdays. The food is great and so is the atmosphere.

In response to Floryn: Quality says nothing about taste; for this price, I don't expect "ordinary Douwe Egberts," but a tasty Italian espresso. As for the price, I have heard from several sources that people find it on the high side at Floryn; that has absolutely nothing to do with 2026. Cozy cafe with friendly staff. Quite pricey, though; I find €26.50 for 5 cups of coffee and a toasted sandwich quite expensive. Especially considering the toasted sandwich was served white; it had barely touched the sandwich maker, and the coffee was not exceptional—quite the opposite, in fact.

I'm going to sit comfortably on the terrace and order a beer, but I'm not even allowed to do that because they are a respectable pub. According to them, they only want people with status inside.

The food is good but nothing special, and the price is simply too high for the quality and quantity. The service is friendly and reasonably attentive, although a plate was slammed down so rudely that I was lucky the soy sauce didn't splash on me, and the young lady completely ignored it. The fries also arrived considerably earlier than the main courses themselves. At our table, we were occasionally bothered by the draft from the door, and the seating on the other side was uncomfortably tucked away behind a concrete pillar. We found the mocktail far too sweet, but that's also a matter of taste.

The greater was very friendly and that set the tone of our visit. We didn't have a reservation but she could manage to get us a table inside. It was not busy so everything was good. Service was great and the food was even better. The interior was awesome and it was perfect for our romantic dinner.

We had a very pleasant stay at Café Floryn. The interior is truly tasteful, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. We both had the Floryn Burger, and we have to say: Angus beef is something else entirely. The patty had a texture like a frikandel and tasted just like it. Everything else was delicious and really good.

Delicious sangria and snacks, but way too expensive!

We come here regularly for food. This is the first time it's just not good. The hamburger and satay were much worse than before, the sweet potato fries were soggy, and the nasi goreng with the satay wasn't good either. They try to sell you extra fries before you even get your food. It's a shame, because we always enjoyed coming here.

Worst service ever, a very grumpy woman. I wanted to have lunch on the terrace with a stroller. Several tables were free where I could easily sit and park the stroller, but the woman said we couldn't sit anywhere with the stroller because she couldn't walk through them or it would get in the way of other people. Well, I can tell you there was plenty of room for three more strollers. Then I asked if there was any room inside (lots of tables free) and no, no way, we don't have room for a stroller inside. Her face was also awful, she was so grumpy. Well, I'll never come back here again.

We have lunch somewhere every week, and often several times at the same restaurant. This one is disappointing in terms of food. We thought we would get a glass of delicious homemade boxes. Drinks were tasty but never had such a small glass of drink anywhere before, and this also applied to the club sandwich, tastes okay but really very little for what you pay.

Delicious lunch on the beautiful spacious terrace of this beautiful business in Uden. Nice and attentive service. Whoever came, they all radiated energy, attention and care. You see that differently elsewhere. Although bad for the figure, the eggs Florentine were delicious. My colleague's tuna salad sandwich also tasted delicious to him. I will definitely come back!

My mother, my son and I wanted to have lunch after shopping. We arrived at Floryn, the terrace was packed. There was still 1 table free, but unfortunately we were not welcome with the stroller, because it would take up too much space. For us a no go.

Food is very average. 30 euros for a poor piece of "tenderloin" of mediocre quality, not tender and without taste. Floryn Burger same story. The meat of the burger is very compact/hard, not tender at all and nothing special in terms of taste. We couldn't eat half of the sweet potato fries because they were completely black. After reporting this, they only say that they will pass it on to the kitchen and nothing else. Normally we always tip, but not now. First and last time for us.

Erg klant onvriendelijk. Wij zaten buiten in de zon, vroegen of de parasol op mocht, dat mocht niet omdat andere gasten misschien wel in de zon willen zitten. (waarom zet je er dan parasols neer?). We konden wel naar een ander tafeltje met drie stoelen voor 5 man. We zetten er twee stoelen bij maar dat mocht niet vanwege de doorloop? ( ruimte genoeg). Er werd gezegd ga maar naar binnen....., heel onvriendelijke jongen. Wij wilden juist wat gaan eten maar daar hebben we toch maar van afgezien.

Wat wordt je hier door de leiding onfatsoenlijk behandeld. Hadden een diner voor een groep, alles was van tevoren doorgebeld, i.v.m voorbereiding, na twee en een half uur hadden verschillende hun eten nog niet. Op de vraag hoe dit mogelijk was werd je gewoon afgesnauwd met de mededeling dat het druk was en met de mededeling dat wij in tijdnood kwamen, werd er gezegd dat dat niet hun probleem was. Wij komen hier dus echt niet meer met onze groepen.

Not getting paid for a trial day from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM and then being told via WhatsApp that you "didn't make it after all" aso staff and therefore taking advantage of applicants. Not recommended

Wat een enorme teleurstelling! Bij aankomst was het restaurant vrijwel leeg, met slechts enkele tafels bezet. Op elke tafel stond een reservering voor 17:45 of 18:00. Wij gingen om 16:45 zitten aan een tafel die om 18:00 gereserveerd was. Het personeel negeerde ons echter volledig. Zowel de jonge meiden die dichtbij onze tafel kwamen als de man ( waarschijnlijk de eigenaar) die naast ons demonstratief stoelen aan het verschuiven was. Ze gaven ons geen enkele aandacht en keken ons gewoon weg. Ik weet nog steeds niet waarom we zo volkomen genegeerd werden , we dachten even snel wat te eten of drinken en voor de gereserveerde tijd weer te vetrekken. Waarschijnlijk was het personeel het hier niet zo mee eens maar dan had je gewoon met ons kunnen communiceren dat jullie vol waren of iets dergelijks. Je had tegen ons kunnen zeggen dat we daar niet mochten zitten. Dat noemen ze communicatie. Ik ben nog nooit zo onbeleefd en onbeschoft genegeerd en dan te bedenken dat een ex collega die tevens familie is van de eigenaresse dit restaurant bij ons heeft aanbevolen. Een cursus klantenservice en communicatie skills zou geen weggegooid geld zijn bij dit arrogant personeel. Uiteindelijk zijn we maar vertrokken en naar een ander restaurant op de markt gegaan, waar we wel welkom waren en uiteindelijk heerlijk hebben gegeten. Dit restaurant is geen ster waardig.
