Had a wonderful night at Frenchie’s Burgers! The food was fresh and delicious, and the decor added a fun, lively touch to the whole experience. Service was impeccable from start to finish. Leah was the perfect host , she made us feel like we were at a dinner party with a great group of friends and family. Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, which is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. I ordered a burger (€13.95), but the burger patty was incredibly thin, almost as thin as a slice of salami. Additionally, it was far too salty, making it inedible for me. The loaded fries (€6.95) were served in a small container and consisted largely of hard, crispy pieces instead of good fries. For this price, I had expected more. The Passion Lemonade (€3.95) was also disappointing. It was far too carbonated, and the passion fruit flavor was barely discernible. In total, I paid €24.40 for one person. For that price, I had expected better quality and larger portions. Would I eat here with my family? No. Would I eat here again? No. Would I recommend this restaurant? Unfortunately, not either. It is a shame, because friendly staff alone do not make up for the disappointing quality of the food.

We had a nice meal; we didn't think the homemade iced tea was that good, but that is purely a matter of taste. The burger was really tasty. But it's a shame that you have to eat it with a disposable wooden fork while sitting on a metal stool at a wobbly table. And you are in the Netherlands, so you would actually expect to be able to place your order in Dutch, but the woman at the counter only spoke English. However, she was friendly.

Ordered takeaway from Frenzies yesterday, and what a disappointment. When I arrived, I was told it would take about 25 minutes because they were a bit busy. Fair enough. It ended up being almost 50 minutes. The food was nowhere near worth the wait. We paid €73 for five very basic burgers and two tiny portions of fries. The so-called loaded fries were a joke – basically just fries with a bit of mayonnaise. To make things worse, every single burger was dry. Dry buns, dry patties, and very little flavour. One burger was cold. For that kind of money, you expect a decent burger, not something that tastes worse than fast food.

We went yesterday at dinner and the food was fast! I recommend the zucchini tempura and white wine 🍷

This is an experience. My burger was burnt, had hair in it, and didn't smell good either. The service was otherwise fine, but the food was really not tasty. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I love Frenchies burgers! During the opening on Gentsestraat, I enjoyed the good vibe, efficient staff, and the amazing homemade burgers full of flavor. Highly recommended for young and old.

I really enjoy eating out and am absolutely willing to pay for good food. However, what we were served here as burgers and sweet potatoes was an outrage. The buns looked cheap, the meat was overcooked and completely fell apart into small pieces. One could forgive a single instance of this happening – but when both burgers are served in this condition, it's clear there's a pattern. There was hardly any flavor: blandly seasoned, with cheap, generic ingredients that were more reminiscent of mass-produced, jarred food. The sweet potatoes were also extremely greasy and far from what one would expect. In short: By far the worst burgers I have ever eaten – and the greasyest sweet potatoes to boot. Absolutely unacceptable for the price.

Really enjoyed the hamburgers and hot dogs. And the lemonade was delicious too! I ordered an extra hamburger for the road in one of those nice thick wrappers, which made it even more delicious. We order hamburgers everywhere. And this one? We love it!

Best smash burgers in The Hague

The worst smash burger I've ever had! And the sweet potato fries were also really bad, and you pay so much for them. I'll never go back! I feel completely ripped off.

Misleading 5 star reviews!!! I don’t believe any of them after experiencing. Can’t even call this a smash burger. Paid extra for caramelized onions in two burgers to get home and not find any. No flavor and smelly bread. Sweet potato fries were either hard or soggy, and far from edible. Any cheap fast food burger chain is a way better option compared to this. Waited inside for my takeout and stank like their kitchen afterwards. Never Again!!!!

10/10 Really good burgers and wedges! I normally only grab a burger once in a while, but I’ve been finding myself coming here more often. It's my go to spot now. My order was accidentally mixed up, and the young lady immediately insisted on making a new one. I didn’t even want to bother them, but you can truly see how much the employees care about their customers. The service... top tier. That's why im sitting down writing this review. As a French woman visiting The Hague, I was surprised and delighted to meet Maëlle the first time and Assia later on, both from Toulouse like me! It was wonderful to chat and exchange ideas about the city and the restaurant. The burgers were delicious, made right in front of us, and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the lemonade! And the brookie is excellent too!

I was really looking forward to going back because I loved it last time, but now, a year later, I'm extremely disappointed and unfortunately won't be back. The atmosphere was chilly, and when we sat down at a table, we were completely ignored because it's "order at the counter." This isn't mentioned anywhere, and I think you could tell us (there are only four tables, and we were the only ones). I told the staff (two people working), and they apologized, but it felt more like a chore than a genuine apology. The smashed burger was way overcooked. The goat cheese burger was fine, but nothing special. We also had sweet potato fries and potato wedges. Both were tasty but way too salty. The burgers were the same. I had to drink a liter of water afterward. Not a good experience, and I think you've unfortunately lost the atmosphere and quality in a year.

Best burger I've ever had!!!! The signature beef!!! I couldn't finish it, so the very nice man, I think his name was Theo, asked if I wanted to wrap up the leftovers and take them home. And it's a great location, too.

It was okay. I had the smash burger, and the burger was a bit overcooked and too salty, and the cheese was quite overpowering. The zucchini fritters had way too much batter on them, so you could barely taste the zucchini itself. For the price, there are definitely much better places in the area!

It was good but a little underwhelming. The burger was a bit charred and really thin. The sparkling lemonade was definitely fizzy but not very lemony at all. The potato wedges were pretty good and seasoned well. We got the pesto mayo sauce with it which was really tasty. All in all it was decent but I don't know that I would go out of my way to come back.

Was hyped to try a new burger place. Unfortunately my brioche bun was really dry and old, just didn’t taste fresh at all. The patty was really thin, the brioche was too thick in comparison (but that’s just my opinion). The potato wedges were nice! The cookie also didn’t taste fresh :( Overall, I was left a little disappointed.

The boy serving was very nice. It did take quite a while for the hamburger and sweet potato fries to be ready. The regular smash burger was a bit disappointing; the cheese on it is overpowering, so you can hardly taste the meat. The cheese doesn't taste that good on a hamburger either. The sweet potato fries were still a bit soft.

was treated unfriendly by a clearly irritated lady. Her aura and tone were very condescending. It did not feel personal because other customers on the terrace also had to retaliate. A customer asked in the friendliest tone if she could get some mayo with it. Without answering she walked away irritated, the customer shouted again that she would like some mayo, without turning around she shouted back: "Sure!" Then the customer walked behind her with the question: "Can I get some ketchup with it". Answer in an angry tone: "You have to pay for it!", customer says no problem, how much? Answer: "We don't have ketchup" A very strange conversation when you can just say: we don't have ketchup. Then very condescending to a delivery person who had to wait outside with a sarcastic: "Thank yuuuu!" The burgers were not really special, especially for that price. Quite cold and a bit burnt. The wedges were half dry and burnt. Maybe I was really unlucky that day, guess what? I didn't take it out on anyone else and decided to write this review.

I really enjoyed the food but found the young and “hip” staff quite rude and lacking in basic trainings. Often they would reply to questions with rude answers and make you feel as though you weren’t in the pace of the restaurant. But the fries are great

Super nice service. When I arrived late sunday for takeaway away, they was no usual patty veggie anymore and no potatoes left. The owner kindly proposed to me a brocoli/cheese option that I first declined. She certified me that the brocoli taste was not strong, and her and her co-worker accommodated me by putting more sauce into the burger. It was actually delicious 😋. The wedges were seasoned with a great mix of herbs. I highly recommend this spot. 👌

We had a regular and a signature burger along with smash potato and Lager beer. The food is delicious, the host/cook is very friendly. We highly recommend stopping by.

The burgers are delicious. We ate both the vegetarian and the signature beef and they were super fresh and tasty. We also thought the sauces were really great. The lemonade was also surprisingly tasty. Highly recommended!

Had a nice visit at Frenchie's today, Cas was the best, but it was a bummer to find out that the chicken burger has been discontinued. Which is a shame, it was a great burger and one of my favorites. Hope it comes back soon, might visit less if not.
