They're bankrupt! It's a shame, but I'm not surprised. The fancy fries quickly became an expensive treat. It's still a high-end snack bar.

I was disappointed with my order and feel a bit ripped off. I've had the pollos hermanos fries with chicken tenders before, and they were delicious, but today they were very bad. First, they weren't chicken tenders, but a crispy chicken burger cut into pieces. I ordered extra meat, but it wasn't any more than last time, except that everything was cut into small pieces, so it might have seemed like more. The fries were just fries. The food tastes good, but the quality has deteriorated over the years.

Terribly slow service and half of it was gone

Believe it or not, I waited two hours for my delivery. I called the restaurant after 1:15. But after 1:45, it was finally cold and unbearable. So, absolutely do not recommend this. I have to say, the delivery person was friendly.

What a disappointing experience. We sat there for an hour and a half and had to ask three times where our food was. After an hour, we finally got our appetizer, but even then we had to wait far too long for the main course. Ultimately, we decided to cancel the main course and leave. I've never experienced this in a restaurant before.

Today we ate here (again). We are fairly regular customers and the food here is always really good. To be honest, it always takes quite a while before you get your food, but if you know that, it's not a problem at all. But today it took a really long time. The sauce we ordered wasn't there, I didn't get the mayonnaise burner I ordered and I had already finished my meat when the fries had yet to arrive. I wasn't used to that from this place. But, it's always good, so a mistake can be made, right? So I wasn't angry at all or anything. Everyone has an off day now and then, right? But, despite the fact that we hadn't complained at all when paying, or were angry with people, the (I suspect) owner solved it in an incredibly good way. Completely on his own. The solution was MORE than generous. I was even a little ashamed of it :-) ... I only heard outside how well he had solved it and so I couldn't thank him. So I hope he reads this: Dear owner ... thank you very much for the solution offered. It is greatly appreciated and of course we will remain a customer. Until next time :-)

Had a delicious meal with wife and child via social deal. Friendly welcome. Delicious food and large portions. Drinks are on the expensive side. 10 euros for chocolate milk, ice tea and 1 Radler. Nice restaurant and neat restaurant with open kitchen. Free parking in front of the door on Sundays, ideal. Definitely recommended. Except for drinks prices, great. We will definitely come again in the future.

We really had a very good and tasty meal here and there was plenty of delicious food to choose from. The portions are large and the young service was all very friendly. We were really positively surprised and will definitely come back. Maybe when the terrace weather comes again, because the only downside was the frying smell upon entering. Now we came out of the freezing cold, after a bike ride, so that might have made it worse.

Today I ate here for the 2nd time, the food was good again and very tasty. The stew is recommended here, good taste and friendly staff, they take good care of their customers!

What a drama. We came in at 6:30 PM and had to wait half an hour for the starter. Then it took another hour before the main course finally arrived. And then you also get weak fries... In a place called 't Friethuys! The portions were small, and the value for money was really bad. Way too expensive for what you get. After all that waiting, someone finally came up with a half-baked excuse: “Sorry for the long wait, we'll give you a round.” But even after that it took even longer before we got our food. And to top it all off, we had to wait 15 minutes for dessert. The staff - mainly students - did not seem concerned with the customers at all. No attention, no service. We will definitely not come back here.

Food was tasty in terms of price/quality. Only it took a very long time. After 30 minutes we got our starter. And after 1 hour and 30 minutes our main course. I wouldn't go here again anytime soon.

At first I didn't think much. While eating I thought no is more than enough. Fries were bland, limp and cold. The chicken nuggets were dry and it was almost impossible to swallow, and the frikadel tasted strange. It seemed as if everything had already been heated up several times. The chicken at the counter was hard and dry. Too bad, I used to love coming here. Hadn't been there for several years. Don't come back here again. Way too expensive for food that the dogs don't even want to eat.

It looked nice, but there was no one else there. We felt welcome. We could choose between a soft roll (according to the menu) or a crispy roll. You will find out at checkout that it is more expensive, but this is not stated when you offer it. So watch out for any extras. The (egg)burger tasted great and is certainly enough for lunch.

What a crappy tent! We order for three people and get 2 cones of fries. The waitress points out to us that it is always 1 bag for two people. Then a fortune for 3 burgers, 3 cokes and two bags of fries. Bunch of scammers!!!!

Had dinner with the family tonight via Social Deal. Delicious quesedilla with pulled chicken and pulled pork. Main course was Italian schnitzel with fries and sorbet caramel and sorbet cherry. All tasty and more than enough. The service is also friendly and attentive. A nice evening out for dinner and with a reasonable price!

We picked it up, fries are tough, we ordered French fries and got regular fries. Peanut sauce was so thin it ran through the entire plate. And no taste to the peanut sauce. The Mexicano is not the real thing. Tried once for us, but unfortunately not a second time. We also wanted to order a cheese soufflé, but unfortunately it was not in stock.

We went there twice for dinner while on vacation. Well-chilled drinks, delicious food and, above all, friendly service, what more do you need. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

I could divide the fries for 2 people between my 2 little eaters aged 6 and 9, so absolutely not suitable for 2 adults, the Bali fries look as if they have already been eaten, the fries are regular fries and not French fries as indicated, spring onion rings can be counted on one hand, crispy onion nowhere to be seen, peanut sauce, it's all gone but that's it, the only positive, the chicken tastes good 👍 Received a call 3 minutes before delivery that it would take 5 to 10 minutes longer, but ended up waiting 20 minutes... Fortunately, we are only on holiday here and so there will be no follow-up to the order

Actually a "snack bar". The schnitzel just came out of the fryer... a shame. Satay not marinated properly. Salad was missing. 3 pieces of break bread.. eat small portions. Fries were a bit limp, no seasoning. Sorbet lacked the fresh fruit. Friendly service... drinks menu also economical... many areas for improvement.

I placed an order today at Friethuys in Drachten. When the order was delivered, the delivery person (I'm guessing 15 years old) forgot the change. He then called his colleagues from Friethuys. I could listen in on the conversation. The colleague on the phone seemed very unfriendly. She pointed out to the delivery person that it is his job to provide the change and that this is the umpteenth time he has made a mistake. She then ordered him to come back quickly. I am very shocked at how someone could attack a child like that. I have always been a big fan of Friethuys, but this rubbed me the wrong way. I have contacted Friethuys by telephone about this issue, but I am confident that it will never happen again. They create an unsafe working atmosphere here and where making mistakes (as every person does) is seen as a major sin.

Truly incredible. Wait 45 minutes before your order is taken, only to conclude 45 minutes later that they have forgotten your order... Too bad Chantal no longer runs the place

Had to wait more than 50 minutes for a ball sandwich and a carpaccio salad. Salad was very small in a bowl but cost 13.95. Just some lettuce with carpaccio and too much greasy sauce. No cheese or pine nuts. Scandalous for a meal salad for that price. Meatball fake and dirty. If you complained, the meatball could suddenly be fished out of the pot and served in 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the salad had apparently been ready for a while because it was lukewarm. Home delivery clearly had priority for physical customers. There were already others walking away who also had to wait a long time. Tables were not cleared and were full of dirty glasses and half-eaten French fries. Once but never again.

Ordered food for the first time via their own site. Would arrive between 6:30/7:00 PM. 7:20 PM I called again. The order had not gone through! It was resolved nicely, but I would not order anything from this website again. Then again delivered via home delivery. The food was otherwise excellent, but whether it is really value for money is another matter (fries pulled pork with home-made fries cost € 12.00)

Meer dan 50 minuten moeten wachten op een broodje bal en een carpacciosalade. Salade was erg klein in een schaaltje maar kostte wel 13,95. Slechts wat sla met carpaccio en teveel vette saus. Geen kaas of pijnboompitten. Schandalig voor een maaltijdsalade voor die prijs. Gehaktbal nep en vies. Bij klagen kon de gehaktbal opeens in 2 minuten uit de pot gevist worden en worden opgediend. Helaas had de salade kennelijk al een tijd klaar gestaan want die was lauw. Thuisbezorgd had duidelijk voorrang voor de fysieke klanten. Er liepen al anderen weg die ook lang moesten wachten. Tafels werden niet afgeruimd en stonden vol vieze glazen en half leeggegeten patatzakken. Een keer maar nooit weer. Eten: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 |

Order here regularly and the food is really good. They just always forget something, yesterday it was the herb butter, the time before the mayo or the mini cheese croquettes

Good day everyone, I apologize in advance, but I have been working and relaxing in the catering industry for more than 15 years, and I can say that it’s hard to even imagine more disgusting places in the city center. After a day full of adventures, I came with my wife for dinner, because I didn’t want pizza/pasta... but wanted meat, a burger, or something like that... they brought us weathered sauce, mayonnaise that had been standing for more than 2 hours, stinking potatoes, fried in repeatedly used oil, and cheap semi-finished meat, ... the aftertaste for the whole evening - I wanted to burp, and it cost about 40 euros, ... please think about it..

When you enter this cafe, the smell of fried oil knocks you off your feet. I understand that to save space, the kitchen is located right in the living room, but is it really impossible to make a normal hood? But that's half the trouble. Be prepared to wait a very long time for food (it is recommended to bring pillows and blankets with you). The food itself consists of semi-finished products fried in oil. The schnitzel was overcooked, and the potatoes were dry as straw and could not always be pierced with a fork. I wonder if the people who prepared this food at least sometimes try what they prepared?! And in general, for what segment of the population is this concoction intended?

Lekkere burgers, veel keuze. Snelle bezorging. Op de eigen website besteld, en een gratis milkshake erbij gekregen.

Gisteren na een tijdje weer geweest. De cola was er op vooruitgegaan . Van Pepsi naar coca dat is altijd goed 😊 het eten was prima op de stoofvlees na . De smaak was goed maar het vlees was vet en taai . Toch hadden we het idee dat het friethuis het friet huis niet meer was . We misten het warme hartelijke bad namelijk . Waar er altijd persoonlijk aandacht was en een praatje en extra aandacht voor de hond .liepen er nu 6 a 7 man heen en weer te huppen . Er was geen interne rust . Er is dus een nieuwe eigenaar met nieuwe mensen . Wel vriendelijk en aardig , maar toch . Zullen best nog een keer komen maar zal minder vaak zijn als vorig jaar .

We komen inmiddels bijna wekelijks eten! Heerlijk eten, super goede service en erg vriendelijk personeel. Wanneer iets niet naar wens is, wordt dit altijd keurig opgelost. Zeker aan te raden.

Zeer goede service, goede prijs kwaliteit en snelle service

Gezellig met onze kinderen gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening. Omdat er 1 jarig was, kwam er een ijsje met sterretjes op tafel. Top! Het eten kreeg een 8 van de kinderen. De friet, spare ribs, burgers én toetjes waren heerlijk! Tips: wat meer saus op de burger en wat meer kipnuggets bij het schatjepatatje. We vonden het ook vrij prijzig.

Leuke zaak na piepers en paupers ( welke inmiddels verpaupert is met nieuwe eigenaar ) is dit de lekkerste friet met hamburger die we sinds tijden gegeten hebben . Personeel vriendelijk en attent . Namen de tijd om een praatje te maken en onze pup te vertroetelen met een aai en lach . De hotspici was echt hot spice en de bamm is een aanrader . Dus we komen weer terug om andere dingen te proberen van de kaart . Kleine kanttekening Pepsi cola kartonnen rietje in de lekkere milkshake 🙈 Ik moet wat te zeuren hebben😉

Voor de 4 de keer gegeten elke x weer erg lekker bediening ook erg vriendelijk . en ook betaalbaar.

Het eten was opzich te doen, maar niet echt bijzonder en de service was niet top. Drankjes moest ik zelf achter aan. Het bestek moest ik zelf regelen want dat waren ze vergeten. En het personeel wist niet hoe de kassa werkte. Het kwam chaotisch tot mij over en had het idee dat er niet goed gekeken werdt als je buiten zat. Een tip voor jullie mochten jullie dit lezen. Controleer vaker naar de klanten, ik had wel meer drankjes willen bestellen maar, moest er zelf om vragen. En leg het bestek klaar zodra de klant heeft besteld. Hopelijk in de nabije toekomst wordt het beter. Voor nu 2 ster waardig.

Gelukkig konden we tijdens de corona lockdown hier even iets afhalen. Heerlijke friet, prachtig verpakt met een persoonlijke tekst op de tas van het super vriendelijke personeel. Aanrader!

Vandaag per ongeluk terechtgekomen bij Het Friethuys. Wat een super leuke tent! Heel erg vriendelijk personeel en super lekker gegeten. Hun eigengemaakte verse frietjes en zoete aardappel frietjes waren overheerlijk. Kinderen hadden nog nooit zo’n lekkere frietjes gehad! Als we nog ooit in de buurt zijn dan komen we zeker terug!!

Lekker gegeten in het Friethuys! Gezellige inrichting, vriendelijk en attent personeel en natuurlijk lekker eten. De kipsaté en de hot en spicy burger waren heerlijk, en frieten met schil altijd goed. Leuk om zo heen te gaan voor of na de bioscoop. Aanrader!

Een top restaurant, modern en sfeervol ingericht, goed personeel maar het allerbeste is het eten! Totaal niet te vergelijken met een gewone snackbar, het friethuys is veel beter! Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en ook erg geschikt voor kleine kinderen. Ik ben groot fan 🤗
