I've literally never been to such a bad chip shop. I waited over two hours for my food, the fries were fried maybe three times, and the snacks were cold. If you can't handle the crowds, you shouldn't be taking orders. At this place, it doesn't matter how or when your food is delivered, as long as the cash register is full.

It's wonderful to sit outside in the summer with excellent burgers. Unfortunately, there's not much room inside to eat in the winter. Tip for the burgers: everything is great, but the hamburger buns are falling apart because of the juices. This could be due to older buns, improperly patted buns, or some other reason. It would be great if they could look into that :) But I did lick my fingers, because the juices were delicious too 😅

Incredibly delicious fries, a wide selection of snacks, and more than enough vegetarian options! The woman in this shop is a very hard-working woman, always with different young men as helpers, whom she's also training. Hats off! Price: fries for 2 people, 2 cheese soufflés, and a vegetarian meat croquette for 12 euros. Absolutely fantastic!

If you order here, keep in mind that you often have to wait 2 hours for your food. Unfortunately, they don't know customer service either!

This used to be a good chip shop... but today most of the fries went into the trash. It's a mix of undercooked and way overcooked (2nd time?)… and it's not too fresh either.

Lovely staff, but yuck, truly yuck... the fries were more like dough, the kipkorn tasted of fish, and the ham and cheese soufflé tasted like ham, cheese, or soufflé, but mostly like stale frying fat. Next time, I'll definitely use my air fryer.

Very bad service, I had ordered food on March 22 for Tuesday March 26 at 6:10 PM unfortunately I went there to pick up my food but the cafeteria was closed and now I am left with the baked pears I have already paid for the food but unfortunately I have not received the food yet

After a good previous experience, I got fries again today. Upon entering, the smell of old frying fat greeted me and that was actually a red flag. When we got home, the snacks, especially the croquette, turned out to have an "old greasy" aftertaste. This was the last time for us.

I hadn't been in some time, but I was in the area and always enjoyed coming to this cafeteria. It turned out there was a different owner. I was very friendly and helped and everything looked neat. Unfortunately, my order turned out to be a big disappointment, both takeaway snacks were not good and I had to throw them away immediately. The pikanto was sour and my bami disc was burnt. Too bad I hear this doesn't happen more often.

I recommend it to everyone. Very very tasty :)

We had to wait 2 hours for our food to be delivered. So I called and then had to wait on the phone for another 15 minutes. Disgraceful service, only received an apology. No further compensation whatsoever. Never order here again!

Saturday, don't feel like cooking. The children were really looking forward to fries. I cycled here thinking I would have to wait a long time, but then I saw a beautiful autumn terrace with blankets to put over my legs. The service is friendly and the price was as expected, not expensive and not cheap. There was a clear division of roles in the kitchen. I heard that the staff knows their customers, which is nice for a neighborhood snack bar. There are plenty of free parking spaces, but there is no option for a toilet. The location is wheelchair friendly. The furnishings look neat and clean. There are 3 bicycle deliverers, which is of course sustainable and healthy for the staff. I definitely recommend it The food, the fries, was nicely browned and had a delicious salty taste. The peanut sauce that came in a container was thin, and I liked this because it seemed to be fresh instead of having been sitting for a while and becoming thick. The snacks were fine, as expected. We received both thin and thick paper straws with the milkshakes. We found the larger straws most comfortable to drink from. Everything was nice and warm when we got home. Overall good snack bar. Owner is customer friendly...but other employees sometimes have arguments. Ordered 2 fries without... they were really very small (you could count the fries) and had to pay €4.60. Now clearly less for more money... very unfortunate. That's why I got 2 stars less unfortunately

We waited 1.5 hours for our order, so we decided to call! Throw it in the pan now is the answer, more than 2 hours of waiting! And had a wrong order!! Pfff we will never order from here again!

It's a shame if you order food at 2:00 PM for 6:00 PM and they call you at 6:05 PM to say it will be later. This means that they do not have their affairs in order. Will order elsewhere for now

Reasonable food, I live here in these flats near the snack bar so I'm talking about takeaway. Maybe not top quality, but certainly not bad for every now and then when you want something easy to do. In any case, it is better than the time when the Vietnamese were here, they were nice, but that was about it.

Got fries, prices are on the menu. However, at checkout we discovered that we had paid too much. Spoke an employee and he indicated that the prices have been increased. Understandable, but it is useful to mention it and ultimately you do not know what the price is. It was not very clear on an A4 piece of paper at the cash register. And a woman who worked there indirectly indicated that a menu board for new prices would be unaffordable...

Ordered at 5:00 PM, called an hour later to find out where the food was! It takes a very long time before you get someone on the phone and you had to wait another hour because apparently customers on location get priority! It's now half past seven and I haven't had my food yet!

Had to wait 2 hours and fifteen minutes for my order yesterday. The food was almost cold and there were no fries on the children's menu.

Last time something was missing from our order. That can happen. Today the same thing was called again and I was spoken to in an extremely arrogant manner. A tip ; You can be arrogant when you have everything together. The food is no longer the quality we are used to. Unfortunately, it is no longer worth repeating.

Last time. Placed an order online, arrived on time to pick it up, only to have to wait inside for almost half an hour. Once home, the order turned out to be incomplete, so it was back in the car. In the meantime, my hamburger (which, by the way, was not tasty when warm) has become too cold. Threw it away after a few bites. Fries were okay, but I'll have to cook them myself later. Waste of time and money.

Order placed 4:48 PM. Delivery time 35 minutes. Called again after an hour and a half. Sorry, but the order is on its way. Another half hour later but still no order. Even though I live less than 500m away. Ordered regularly but this was the last time. Completely done. Update. Ultimately, after calling again, it took two and a half hours. Order as usual, just fine and almost full purchase amount was refunded. Just two extra stars for that.

I regularly get the Vegan Kebab here. It is not to be sneezed at. The portions are generous, so you don't have to worry about a (half) empty stomach. It's fantastic that there is such a varied range of snacks and meals. Keep it up!

Had to wait half an hour for my food when I called I was hung up on while I was still speaking one time when I ate here everything was cold and due to cycling the hamburger and the wrap fell apart there was sauce everywhere fries were cold but manageable burger also chicken wrap was dry First time and never again

Ordered 2 fries pulled chicken. Friendly help but that's all. Even though it looks very good at first glance, the pulled chicken is extremely dry, as if it was old and the fries were very tasteless and had a strange structure. Unfortunately we will not be back

Frietsalon Zuiderkruis has been a household name for years, but recently the two brothers Mark and Peter have taken over this fries parlour, they have been managing Restaria Zuid on the corner of Dr Colijnstraat Bruinstraat for 22 years, these guys with their female staff are always friendly, but the most important thing is that they have super good food, the food is really prepared with love for the customer, some snack bars and dining rooms can follow this example, Mark, Peter and of course not to forget your father and mother and the ladies who occasionally work for you, keep it up because you are a household name in Veenendaal.

Lots of choice for an affordable price. Always customer friendly and you will be helped quickly. I keep coming here.
