The worst burger I've ever eaten. Three-quarters of it ended up in the bin.

The food I personally had was good. Everything was well-prepared, and the snacks were nicely cooked. Prices were a bit higher, but that's to be expected at a park. The service was friendly. Both cash and card payments were accepted.

I find the general reviews way too exaggerated. The truth is, yes, it's expensive. But you have to remember that a) you're in the Netherlands and b) you're at a Center Parcs resort. The fries were okay taste-wise. Sure, there's fast food that tastes better. Therefore, I can only give it a qualified recommendation.

Very cool design with the tables and chairs. Self-service. The online menu is smaller than the one in person. Unfortunately, the fries aren't salted, but they aren't salted anywhere else in the park, so a mini portion of mayo for just €1 is really expensive. Soft serve is super delicious.

The food was okay, but nothing more. The portion size was reasonable for the price. Two portions of fries were forgotten when serving. I then had to take the tray back to the counter. My only comment: oh no... I think a sorry would have been appropriate. The soft serve ice cream is delicious.

I've never eaten such a disgusting hamburger in my life. The burgers from the refrigerated counter at the supermarket taste a thousand times better, the fries were unsalted, and the Pepsi tasted like old water. How Center Parcs allows this is a question, and the old lady behind the counter could be a bit friendlier. I'd rather drive 7.2 km to the nearest McDonald's, preferably one that's not worth any stars.

I was at Frites Affaire at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos for lunch! The decor looks really nice and it's very clean. The fries were perfectly crispy, but unfortunately, they weren't seasoned, although you could add salt. The sauce selection is good, but a bit pricey at €1.10 per sauce for a small tub of ketchup. The burgers are also good to eat, but they're not my favorites there. You had to order at a display, and it was relatively quick until I got my food. The price is absolutely fair; in Germany, you'd pay the same amount, if not a bit more.

The fries taste very old, soggy, and unsalted. You have to do that yourself. It's okay, but I find the taste and the price worse. With mayo (a good portion) it's €5.55! Without mayo it's €4.55. It's just too much for the taste. The fries tasted very much like potatoes, which is okay, but it was also too much. Overall, they just tasted like stale grease and didn't taste good. So the fries were about 2.4/5. The atmosphere is nice, but the place and the tables are dirty. Service is nonexistent, as everything is self-service. That doesn't bother me so much, hence a neutral 3/5. The staff were at least nice to us. We won't eat here again.

Here's a possible review for the Frites Affairs restaurant, relevant to your experience: Review for Frites Affairs (Saturday evening, 8:40 p.m.) The restaurant is really beautifully designed – modern, spacious, and divided into three pleasant areas: two indoor spaces and an outdoor terrace. The concept of self-service at the kiosks and drink dispensers is fundamentally practical. Unfortunately, our visit shortly before closing time was less than convincing. There was only one server on site, who had to take care of everything on her own – and it was noticeable. The floor was dirty, as were many of the tables and chairs, which obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. The food was okay – neither particularly bad nor particularly good. It just lacked attention to detail. You got the feeling that the focus was more on the stylish ambiance than on taste and quality. Just a quick joke: If the interior designer also designed the food, it could be something. In total, we paid about €23 for one Frikandel, one soft serve, and three fries with mayo. We would have appreciated a bit more effort and cleanliness. Perhaps we'll give you another chance sometime—with a bit more effort, there's real potential here.

I don't understand why the fries aren't salted. That's the problem. Salt is added in small bags. But by then the frying oil has already absorbed and the salt no longer sticks to the fries at all. So of course they taste bland. It's not the first park to do this. And I can't understand it.

I would definitely not recommend the restaurant. Completely overpriced for what is offered!

Actually you can't go wrong with fries... you think. We also know Frites Affairs from the other parks and have always been very satisfied. We left half of our portion of fries because they weren't edible. The fries were already very cool and they still tasted pretty raw. My mother-in-law said hers were like rubber. The place was very clean, well we were there around lunchtime.

Do you remember the Hot Witch in the early 90s? They were available in kiosks. Frozen burgers were warmed up in the microwave. The quality of the meat in the burgers is worlds worse than that of the Hot Witch's microwave burgers. I don't even know how you manage to get a burger patty so brutally bad. There has to be intent behind it. The menu is extremely expensive for the quality. The fries would even work, but they are really completely drowned in mayo/ketchup. After eating we didn't feel very well and had stomach problems. In summary: In my opinion, Frites Affairs is probably the worst fast food place I have ever eaten at.

Hamburger 7.95! Doesn't matter if you get a decent hamburger for it! But this isn't about anything at all. Simply outrageous!!!

Unfortunately, a terrible end to a beautiful day at Center Parc. After swimming we wanted a quick dinner with the kids. We were aware that the price would be a little higher, even if it was "just" a chip shop. But... Not only was it expensive, but unfortunately it wasn't tasty and the service was slow. The fries were not salted, but were swimming in ketchup or mayo and tasted as if they had been fried for a long time or more often. The loaded fries were absolutely inedible. Unfortunately, out of 4 people, no one liked it, so the whole portion ended up in the trash. The burger was also not edible. One point for the children at least eating the nuggets. Unfortunately, the store wasn't really clean either. At least 3 employees were present. And the crowds were really limited. We will definitely avoid the restaurants in the park the next time we visit Center Parc. Sad but a waste of money.

Shop dirty, staff standing around, food disgusting. Really, we travel a lot and aren't picky. What we got here was the worst food we have ever had. Disgusting. Undefined meat on the fries. Never had anything like this in taste or consistency. (The dish was completely left standing.) The burger was greasy, the cheapest products and the taste was subterranean. Here is my question to management. How can you serve something like that to your guests? That wasn't a bad day in the kitchen, it was disgusting and cheeky to make the customer pay for something like that. Please do yourself a favor and move on.

Contrary to the bad reviews, we found the burgers and fries delicious and very fair in terms of price-performance ratio. The preparation was also very quick and there were several vegetarian options.

I sense a review conspiracy against this innocent establishment! Absolutely solid chips, drinks & sauces can be refilled as desired and the price is still moderately priced compared to the other food offerings in the park.

We went here because the reviews were terrible and we were curious. But the store surprised us positively. No-Chicken Burger was very tasty, preparation was quick and there is a good selection of sauces. Unfortunately the loaded fries were sold out, but otherwise everything was good. 4 stars for the experience, 1 bonus star out of solidarity 💫

Read reviews in advance and thought what could go wrong with making fries, apparently a lot, fries were edible, frikandellen were edible, you'd rather throw chicken nuggets away. The bowl of fries was well filled, but it is certainly expensive. Next time I definitely wouldn't order from here again.

The range of restaurants in Center Park is generally limited. Unfortunately, the prices are not in proportion to the quality. After a long journey, hunger gets the better of you at some point, so we gave the store a chance despite the negative reviews. The food was just fast food that was thrown together without much care. The taste isn't bad, but it's not good either, and of course it's all very greasy. It's actually a shame, because the place looks inviting and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the store wasn't really clean. If you like going to McD or BK, you probably won't be completely disappointed. There are now various shops that, despite system catering, show that the quality can also be better. Simply too expensive for what is offered.

We didn't really have high expectations, we just wanted to eat something quickly. The food looked pretty good at first, but unfortunately that was all! Fries are hard, sauces aren't that great. We found the burgers disgusting, and in the end a lot of money for 6 people ended up in the trash. Too bad.

I would prefer to give 0 stars. Absolutely disgusting fast food. The fries are too cooked and taste like rubber, the frikandel was already shriveled. The soft drinks are just sugar - wrong mixing ratio. The hamburger and sauce combination didn't work and tasted strange. And the prices for such a lousy meal were simply outrageous!

First the positive: the fries were very crispy. The topping was really not good. The meat tastes like it came from a can. The sauces (mango, avocado) taste totally artificial. You can be lucky that the topping is only on the top fries. So definitely not worth a visit. Too bad.

In my opinion, the fries weren't a highlight, but they weren't necessarily bad either. The croquettes were also absolutely fine. Unfortunately everything is a bit pricey, a known problem in CenterParcs. Service is almost non-existent, the few staff that are available work very slowly.

We came here with zero expectations because of the bad reviews. We just wanted to eat something small in between since we had just arrived. The food isn't a hit, but it's not as bad as the reviews suggest. For a midday snack it's fine.

The worst "food" I've ever had, never again. The store should be closed! The junk is also pretty expensive for what it is.

Nuggets really horrible. As if they have ground and breaded mealworms. A wet gazette with herbs would look tastier. Beef stew is doable. But holy... the nuggets are straight up prison food. If you were to serve this to prisoners of war you would be committing a war crime.

The fries were below average, since you had to wait 30 minutes after placing your order anyway, and there were no other customers who had ordered anything at the time. When asked why it was taking so long, the employees stopped their private conversation and started preparing the food. The milkshakes I ordered were extremely bad, as were the fries. I will never buy anything here again.

Not a real winner, the hamburger was quite good, but the bun was too thin, so you kept your fingers in the ketchup. It's good that you could add cheese and/or bacon, or leave something out. Fries were not tasty and covered in mayonnaise which made them difficult to eat. It is better to serve mayonnaise in a separate jar.

Spent almost €30 for 2x fries and 2x hamburgers. The cheese on the burger was not melted and tasted like plastic. The hamburger had no taste, the fries were super limp and had no taste. If your name is Frites Affair and you then serve factory-made fries of the cheapest kind, you are seriously wrong. Atmosphere and service from Aqua Mundo are otherwise good. (More) tables would be useful, because that is where you stand with your tray.

Employees are stressed and unfriendly. In complete contrast to the rest of Center Parks. The fries taste below average and the ordering machines show salads as a side dish, which the employees say are not available. You have to pour the iced tea yourself. The machine foams so much that there is at least 40% foam in the 0.4l cup. We feel cheated. Never again!

The worst snack bar/cafeteria I have ever experienced. If you look at atmosphere/experience, price/quality, hygiene and cleanliness, it is very much below par. For the price charged you would expect a lot more quality. Far too few cash registers for ordering. You have 2 self-service cash registers and 2 cash registers that need to be manned, the latter does not happen at the busiest time of the day. Food that is ready is thundered from the kitchen onto the worktop of the serving boy and this young person does not know where to look because he is being pulled from all sides about missing things and food that is sent back that does not meet the requirements. In short: have more cash registers, deploy more staff (especially at busy times) and, above all, clean and keep them clean. Normally I'm not petty and I understand a lot of things. BUT.....after our visit to Aqua Mundo we decided to take the food with us..... The double hamburgers were in no way cooked...rather bloody, I have to admit that the salad in between the burger was fresh and crunchy. The burger itself completely turned into mush. The Chicken Mc Nuggets looked like they came from a 3D printer and tasted like cardboard. The fries...well not better either. We had also ordered mayo and chili sauce, which unfortunately was no longer in the bowls but instead distributed in the transport bag because the lids were not properly on. If we visit this park again we will give this restaurant a wide berth. Sorry!!!!

For the amount paid for the hamburger, you expect a normal beef burger. But you get a frozen mora hamburger (hamburger from the same mixture as frikandel). So it was impossible to eat. Fries were fine with me.

First of all, the one-star reviews - you probably only know the dirty kebab stalls from Germany with their matchy fries. I can't say anything negative, fries are good, burgers are good, Frikandel is good and I regularly eat fries and the like in the Netherlands because I live close to the border. The Netherlands is more modern than we Germans and that's why I think the ordering and payment methods are better than in many German restaurants and the ambience was also okay. Since we have been on vacation in different camps for several years and have always eaten at Frites Affairs at least once, I can say that it doesn't matter whether you eat in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany, it just tastes good.

Well, I've already been to a few countries. I've even eaten street food in India. Tastes are different, yes. But the food offered here... I'm at a loss for words. I was there with friends and everyone didn't like it. I recommend not trying the mayo. Fries are definitely good, but not for me. Burger was completely wet and soggy. The whole packaging was full of ketchup.

If you want to know locally: prepare yourself for a place that is not very atmospheric (it is and remains a snack bar) with lots of screaming children. The fries with satay were okay. The milkshake was quite thick. I didn't dare to taste anything else, because of the mainly negative reviews here. There are currently two displays on which you can create your menu. So you may have to wait a while before it is your turn.

The food is really bad, the only thing that worked was the hot dogs. The service is absolutely terrible and the atmosphere is bright but also very noisy and therefore loud. The French fries bunker here is one of the cheapest places on the site but unfortunately that's how it tastes, even though it's still expensive for such a meal.

Chip shop as it should be. The finest fries in different versions, great meat croquettes and the burgers are honest. No vegan, saltless, low carb, wholeweed, greenwashing, fatfree, airfried. No, overloaded, old school, full fat BURGER! The self-service toppings complete the unreasonable FASTFOOD. The terminals are intuitive and understandable, in contrast to many "service staff" in some fast food restaurants, where I'm sometimes not sure whether we're both trying to communicate in the same language. However, the friendly employees are there to help those who have been there for ages if they have any questions or to take an order. Every consumer/customer/guest should ask themselves why more and more people have to switch to automation. Otherwise, if you have higher expectations of preparation or service, I can recommend Fuego or Donnas next door. Sorry, they're a lot more expensive! Well then cook yourself? In terms of value for money, I think Frites Affairs is the best restaurant in Het Heijderbos.

This place does not even deserve the 1 star... 30 min before closure - fries were cold - seemd to have been heaten a little bit in the microwave. Burgers tasteless. Ketchup was too sour. Chicken nuggets - worst we have ever had (wonder if they had any chicken in it, to be honest...). Overall, we spent 70 euros for 3 adults and 3 kids and went home hungry. Never again!

We payed 70 euros for 3 kids and 3 adults, without going crazy with our oder. I never payed that much money for something that bad. The fries were cold and soggy. The burgers were uneatable. The burger patty had a taste so artificial that it tasted almost like soap. The chicken nuggets had a greyish color inside.

Friet met kroket en frikandel afgehaald. Het eten is gewoon ok, niets bijzonders. We moesten het wel snel eten, want bij aankomst in de cottage (vlakbij het centrum) was het al behoorlijk afgekoeld.

Ne kleine "Frittenbude" im Center Parcs. Günstiger als in den anderen Restaurants, für den kleinen Hunger zwischen durch. Frikandel sehr lecker. Hambuger eher roh und geschmacklich nicht überzeugend. Burgerbrötchen ähneln einem Milchbrötchen. Empfehlenswert sind aber die Loaded Fries! und der "No Chicken Burger" die Pommes und der genannte Burger sehr lecker, und das sag ich als NICHT Vegetarier! Bestellt wird an den Bestellterminals, was nicht immer reibungslos klappt, man kann aber auch bei einer Mitarbeiterin lieb bestellen 😊.

De friet was heerlijk. De hamburger was om te huilen. De bacon die erop zat was niet gebakken en dus een taaie bedoeling. De cheddar kaas was niet eens gesmolten dus de burger niet warm genoeg en ook niet lekker qua smaak. De prijs is te duur voor wat je krijgt. Tafels waren niet schoon. Zorg dat je genoeg personeel hebt op de juiste tijden, op de juiste plaatsen. 2 sterren dus voor die friet die heerlijk was.

Best available in terms of price performance. Menu around 13€; kids cheaper. Got the same Meal a day before just a step away at “Grand Café” for 20,50€ and it wasn’t this taste.

Wenn ich diese schrecklichen Bewertungen sehe könnt ich weinen. Was habt ihr bitte alle für Erwartungen gehabt? Ein 5 Sterne Restaurant? Diese Frittenbude ist absolut solide und lecker. Burger sowie Pommes waren frisch und knusprig. Wir sind das 4. mal in Folge hier essen und wurden nicht einmal enttäuscht. Vor allem die Loaded Fries sind eine absolute Empfehlung. Super Lecker und sicher nicht mein letzter Besuch hier! Also kommt ihr alle mal von eurem Luxus Etepete Tripp runter.

Het eten was lekker, onze kinderen zijn nochtans kieskeurig. Onze dochter heeft een ernstige pindanotenallergie, het personeel was zeer begripvol en behulpzaam. Dit was zeer aangenaam voor ons, want dat is niet altijd het geval in eetgelegenheden.

Also ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht, na klar, es ist kein Sterne Restaurant. Aber es ist eine bessere Pommesbude, weder der Burger noch die Frikandel waren ungenießbar. Die Pommes sind wohl tagesformabhängig. Aber so schlechte Bewertungen hat der Laden nicht verdient. Wie gesagt: hab auch schon besser gegessen, aber für eine Pommesbude in einem Freizeitpark ist es definitiv genießbar.

Ondanks de vele slechte recensies hier toch gegeten en ik vond niks van de negatieve recensies kloppen. Wij hadden ons eten via de zuil besteld en dit ging heel soepel en snel. Nog geen 10 minuten later kwam het eten. De burger was erg lekker en de friet ook. Ik had een friet met sate en deze was ook goed te doen. Saus kan je ongelimiteerd pakken en er is een ruime keuze aan soorten saus. Het restaurant zelf is alleen niet zo bijzonder maar goed het is en blijft een snackbar dus moet je ook niet teveel van het interieur verwachten.

Ik snap de slechte reviews niet. Het was allemaal lekker wat we kregen en personeel ook heel vriendelijk. Zeker aan te raden

Smaak van de frieten is oké, maar ze zien er niet uit. De schil van de aardappel hangt gewoon nog aan de frieten...

Wie haben heute Nachmittag Eis gegessen und am Abend eine Bestellung zum mitnehmen geholt. Nachmittags: -Alles was wir an Eis bestellt hatten war lecker und preislich in Ordnung! Abends: -Sehr netter Service -Schnelle Zubereitung -Familienbox Pommes.... Für 15€ unschlagbar -Burger waren sehr lecker und die Nuggets auch Wir waren sehr gut zufrieden und es war auch noch alles heiß als wir damit im Bungalow waren. Wir können daher die schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht bestätigen. Bei uns war alles Klasse und preislich für den Center parcs einwandfrei!

Pommes, Milchshake und Frikandel war noch okay, aber alles nur lauwarm. Der Burger war das billigste was man sich nur vorstellen kann. HotDog auch wirklich nicht gut. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Tsja... 1/3e deel van de afhaalbestelling zat er niet bij. Dat is erg zuur bij deze prijzen en resulteerde natuurlijk in een niet volledige maaltijd en weggegooid geld. Verder kan je geen culinaire hoogstandjes verwachten van een snackbar, maar de slechte reviews mbt smaak gaan, naar onze verwachting, vooral over een gebrek aan zout. Maarja, dat is qua gezondheid gewoon een betere manier om een maaltijd aan te bieden. Mis je het? Voeg je het gemakkelijk zelf toe. De frietjes zagen er niet erg smakelijk uit. Weer een goed idee: frietjes mét schil, maar ik denk dat de kwaliteit van de aardappelen niet al te best is. De groenste frietjes weggegooid, verder smaak het als normale friet.

Loaded fries waren best oke maar ook niet speciaal, hamburger was ronduit smerig. Textuur van rubber, duidelijk niet vers gebakken en compleet smakeloos.

Niet veel speciaal te vinden hier. Dure friet en snacks. Het sauzenrayon was niet aangevuld.

Waren während unseres Kurzurlaubs ein paar mal hier. Mal für was warmes, mal für Eis. Bestellung per touch Monitor, Bezahlung per EC. Lief problemlos. Man kann aber auch beim Personal bestellen und am Automaten bar bezahlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und laufen bei Eisbestellungen auch hinter einem her, um zu fragen, ob man lieber Karamell- oder Schokosausse möchte. Die Fritten sind sehr lecker, kein Vergleich zum McDonalds- Fraß. Salzen muss man selbst, wird aber auch darauf hingewiesen. Hamburger geschmacklich auch sehr gut, ebenso die Lakenvelder Krokette und die Käsetaschen. Die Chickennuggets schmecken auch wesentlich appetitlicher als das Pressfleisch in deutschen Fastfood Restaurants. Die Preise sind nicht wirklich günstig, aber auf ähnlichem Niveau wie bei deutschen Fastfoodketten. Aber dafür wird man bei Frites Affairs wenigstens auch satt. Natürlich ist das kein Nobelrestaurant, aber für ein Fastfoodrestaurant halte ich die Leistung für angemessen. Einzig die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich habe keinen Mitarbeiter gesehen, der mal über die Tische geputzt hat.

Zeer onpersoonlijk. Niemand aanwezig aan de balie. Bestellen via een scherm. Als je ijsjes besteld moet je eerst 20 minuten wachten totdat alle friet bestellingen gemaakt zijn, want de ijs bestellingen komen 'achter in de keuken' niet binnen volgens de enige medewerker die ons aankeek alsof hij liever geen bestellingen wilde maken.
