The fries were a bit greasy, with lots of small pieces too. The bamihap wasn't tasty, but that's a matter of personal taste. Regarding gluten-free options: frikandel and croquette. The staff (2 young guys) were very knowledgeable about everything. Experienced no adverse effects regarding gluten-free food, great!

The fries are tough, the woman behind the counter is very grumpy, the snacks are disgusting, and the sauce is very expensive, but that applies to everything.

I wonder since when kibbeling is yellow and a bami bite is pureed. And then we haven't even talked about the woman behind the counter, she was just as disappointing. The burgers don't exactly cheer you up either, and we haven't even mentioned the fries... very bad. The slush puppy, on the other hand, was tasty.

We walked in, and there were three staff members standing there who were apparently busy with just one order. They looked at us, said nothing, for example something like “good evening, we’ll be with you shortly”. It took a while, they were working chaotically, and we didn't respond to them anymore. So, we looked for another place. Too bad guys, this isn't going to work out.

I've said this a few times already: if you wrap perfectly fried fries so that not a single bit of steam can escape, the well-fried bag of fries turns into a bag of soggy muck. Tonight at home, I found my spring roll/peanut sauce rolled up in aluminum foil—how is that even possible...? They just don't get it here.

Truly the best chip shop in the neighborhood...

The fries were very tasty. Fortunately, they also had gluten-free croquettes here, which were handled with clean gloves and fried in a separate fryer.

Lots of dust on the tables, both inside and outside... lots of cobwebs on the exterior wall, a plate blown over just stays lying on the ground.... Staff do go out to smoke and relax. I see some areas for improvement....

Hamburger half raw. Sauces for 1.05 euros. One of the employees was very grumpy. No napkins. In the past they used a sort of pager system, a fine system, but now you have to wait and watch to see if your order is ready. It has really gone downhill compared to a few years ago.

It's a beautiful place, and the food is delicious. I visit this location every few weeks and recommend trying the chicken nuggets; they're exceptionally good. The fries were also perfectly cooked.

I don't know what was wrong with the frying fat. It smelled bad, and the fries were very greasy and tasted awful. There were also a lot of hard chunks of fries, as if the leftovers were fried to reheat. Such a shame.

A good chip shop with delicious fries and generous portions. The staff is usually friendly and the service is fast. It can get a bit busy sometimes, so you might have to wait, and the seating inside is limited. But otherwise, it's definitely recommended for a quick and tasty bite in the center of Terneuzen.

Gross, greasy, limp fries. Don't teach those teenagers how to make proper fries.

Upon arrival around 4:00 PM, I ordered a medium mayo with satay sauce, a sandwich, a hamburger, and a large strawberry milkshake to take away. She replied, "I'm not going to have a hamburger because I still have to turn on the stove." She didn't offer to wait or not, but fine, I'll change the hamburger to a special frikadel. I clearly indicated that I wanted my fries in a container because they get soggy in a bag and are difficult to eat because the paper bags often break. She said OK. When she told me it was ready, she wanted to make a medium milkshake instead of a large one. When I mentioned that, she changed it to a large one. Then I saw that my fries were in a bag and told her I'd asked if I wanted them in a container. She reacted irritated and asked if that was really such a problem, or if she didn't, she'd have to make my frikadel again. Not wanting to escalate the situation, I said, "Ridiculous, but give me the money." When I got home, there wasn't even a straw for the milkshake, and I had to take the lid off to eat it without a straw. Drinking. And my fries also had her blonde hair on them (yes, several), so I threw them away. What a ridiculous experience that was!!!!

I wanted to order through the kiosk. I had to pay all the way through the toll booth, and the kiosk gave me an error message. So I had to give my order to a blonde girl. She was chewing gum as if her life depended on it. It's a good thing I pointed it out to them, otherwise I wouldn't have received my small fries. The large fries I did get had been sitting there too long and were cold when I got home. They keep sealing the fries (closed bags), which causes the steam in the bags to make them soggy. During preparation, the staff were discussing/complaining about the work. All in all, this was the last straw for me. I won't be going there again.

Inedible!! Threw it all away after one bite!

We were on vacation and went to get fries/chips🤣 at Frituur op de Dam because the smell was so good!! The young man behind the counter was very friendly and the fries/chips were delicious. Highly recommended. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely get fries/chips there again. Greetings from Rotterdam!

Located just around the corner near the library. Best place to enjoy fresh & hot fries. Crew/staff is super friendly too. Many options for burgers, combos & snacks. Must try special sauce & truffle sauce. They have certain festive offers (sent via fliers to local residents).

Fries are very bad!!! And expensive too. Mayonnaise had flown over the fries, but they had already been fried 3 times or so, completely fried. Not recommended. While that has always been a good snack bar

What a scandalously small portion of fries you get there! I ordered a medium, then you think that is certainly enough. I got even less than at another small fries! Together a frikandel also pay 6.05 euros? I will never go there again!

Nice fries, friendly staff. Very expensive though. Extremely expensive. A cheeseburger costs 9.25 Euros. A regular Steakhouse is cheaper! McDonald's is cheaper. Unfortunately I won't be going here anymore, after eating here for almost three years after the day shift.

These are tasty fries, never too little sauce. However, the chicken burger was disappointing as it was not what I expected. It was minced chicken, similar to a normal hamburger.

Just grab a quick bite to eat and the service is good You get a big mouth when you ask whether the far too weak fries for which you pay almost 6 euros with sauce can be put in a container. The frikandel that had the wrong sauce on it is also simply thrown back into the fryer You'll never see us here again

Very good fries, but when it is busy, like just now, the order is often incomplete and you then find out at home. Specially ordered fries with satay sauce and s. sauce is again not included. Unfortunately sloppy service. I would have preferred to report this personally, but that is not possible. I wanted to pass it along so you can improve this.

I was not answered politely over the telephone, but the order was repeated several times because I had the feeling that the employee understood something else that I said. And yet a much different order. Fries were not tasty, very limp. Employees whisper about you in front of you.

Delicious fries with Schoondijk stew are delicious.

Not good fries, full of small hard pieces, and in a cone. Way, way too expensive for what you get. Inside it is a dark, uncomfortable hole and a security camera watches you head-on. And your order will not be delivered for this amount of money. You may be the snack bar, but I'm not crazy. Plenty of choice further on.

horrible!!! I bit it once and felt a hair!!!! the young staff was unfriendly, when I came back she started explaining that it wasn't hers. Frikandel was good, but I didn't like the fries very much

We ordered food to take away but when we got home the drinks were missing. We went back to pick them up. When we finally started eating, I saw that I had received something completely different from what I had ordered. The fries were rock hard, as if they had been fried three times! Too bad because it used to be a good place to eat.

Large sign in front of the door "Fresh Belgian Fries" so please give me Belgian fries with Flemish stew and Belgian Mayo. While we are being Belgian after all. But that Belgian mayo turned out to be a very strange request: "we don't have that here, sir" I received my order. All packaging covered in sauce and greasy stuff, right down to the bag. A cone of fries with mayonnaise and stew wrapped in a piece of paper with adhesive tape, you wouldn't think of it! Rarely have I seen such a mess in a piece of paper. French fries, dripping, greasy, weak bite. We're not going to do that anymore. So: "who is the snack bar here, you or me?" Well, you certainly don't have a chip shop on the dam

This had not happened to Piet in the past.. bear claw was very full of frying oil, it even dripped from the container it was in, fries were overcooked (looked and tasted like it was old fat. and at 4 o'clock at night it still happened). If you have to take a rennie, tip: don't order from the owner... and see what it looks like to the people who are already eating. Just look at the photo... this is what my fries look like at home, from Lidl... great

Very nice service. He asks several times if everything is OK. Talk to the children while preparing and shorten the waiting time. Price performance great! Taste simply awesome!

The attitude of the staff is a disgrace, not friendly at all… we’ve come here a few times but now never again. The fries were disgusting, some were too hard and some were not even fried properly. The chicken nuggets were really undone, they went straight in the bin…

Typical fast food. Nice people though. It's a shame that everything there closes so early. Walking around town was no longer worth it at 5:30 p.m.

The boy who was working there today can take a course on how to deal with customers. Because if you don't like a job, you should do something else. Filling boxes or something. Ignore customers. Not listening to what you are asked. Complaining. Being a grump. Reason to stop getting food.

I will not have a meal here again, my fries were cremated and the children's fries were so pale that they looked sick, furthermore they are constantly chatting with other people and they do not pay attention to your order, so they forgot the children's fries had to be refried, the croquette was tasteless fat and then they call it the best fries in town to keep it in English not in a million years and all this for only 16.50 in total yuck never again poor quality and service are central here that is clear.

Very WRONG at the moment that solution for your cooling counter!!!... feels very uncomfortable and unprecedented that you cannot make your choice based on what you would normally see (opinion of a customer, positive criticism). Way too little sauce on your fries, even though you pay enough and earn on your snacks and save on sauce. Furthermore, I would love to come back!!! Also top team!

Nice place to eat fries. Croquettes could stay in the fat a little longer, the crust was soft.

Food quality is fine, staff friendly, but orders went awry during rush hour. Logistics are organized impractically: people waiting and incoming customers get in each other's way.
