Delicious food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. A good place for a date night.

We had a really nice meal here! Six of us at a table with two BBQ plates. A wide variety of dishes for on and alongside the BBQ, and very friendly staff. The serving robots were popular with the kids :)

Good food, the meat was more than most other k-barbecue places, the bimbap could have been better seasoned, the service was great, there was constantly someone nearby. The cocktails were very watered down though but for 10.50 per cocktail maybe that's what you'd expect.

It was very good. At first, I thought the selection was less than where I normally went. But the quality more than made up for it. Korean BBQ as it should be. Top-notch place and definitely recommended.

During our last visit, we noticed that a grey layer remained on the food after grilling. We subsequently checked this by wiping an unused grill plate with a white cloth. The cloth did indeed turn distinctly grey. This turned out to originate from the grill plate itself. What concerns us most is that, upon inquiry, we were told that the restaurant is aware of this problem and that it concerns a quality issue with a portion of the grill plates. Despite this knowledge, the plates in question are apparently still being used. This means that customers may be ingesting metal particles from the grill plate while eating. We find it very worrying that a restaurant is aware of this but does not immediately replace the plates or take them out of service. I never write reviews about restaurants, no matter how bad the experience is. But since this can affect people's health, I feel bad about not warning people. Do with this what you will. In any case, we will not be returning here. As far as we are concerned, food safety and customer health should always come first.

Friendly staff, good explanation, and delicious food. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed. The food was surprisingly tasty and everything was fresh. Plenty of choice, something for everyone.

On August 1, 2026, we had a wonderful meal with eight of us to celebrate my brother's 69th birthday. The food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. It's a shame about the print on the menu, which was too small for my liking. We will definitely be back; we really enjoyed it.

Our go-to restaurant in Rotterdam. We've eaten multiple Korean BBQs, but we keep coming back here. Tasty and varied food. The beef bulgogi was our favorite. We liked the sashimi less. The service was really top-notch. Present but not overbearing, attentive and helpful, something you don't find everywhere anymore.

I should have trusted the reviews from Koreans... The food looks like something international students or locals would be disappointed with as well. Crucially, even though it is a Korean restaurant, it seems to be run by Chinese people. It is very, very disappointing. Please, if you want to experience authentic Korean flavor, do not come here... The marinated meat and pork belly were the best parts, but I was extremely disappointed towards the end of my visit. Especially the Jajangmyeon... I wish they would just cook and sell instant Jajangmyeon instead. It just tastes like the original Jajangmyeon. Also, by any chance, is there no food safety regulation in the Netherlands? It seems like they keep reusing the sauce containers; usually, they would use new containers in this situation... I wonder if they really need to reuse the existing ones.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival. We received a clear explanation of how everything works. We had a delicious meal! Definitely recommended…!!!

Nice quality all you can eat. The time limit is a little stressful, but the quality and the service is top notch. There are no desserts, except for ice cream. That's the main reason for the 4 star review.

Very disappointing experience. The dish was extremely greasy and came without any proper side dishes or garnish. The meat quality was poor; several pieces contained cartilage and tough, unpleasant parts that should have been trimmed before serving. The overall presentation and quality were far below expectations. I have eaten at Korean restaurants before and even there, despite serving similar grilled meat dishes, I never experienced such poor meat preparation or excessive oiliness. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant meals I have had in a long time. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Very pleasant place; from the outside it looked a bit sketchy, but I soon found out that it is run by nice people, and they serve delicious food. The service is also top-notch; not once did we have to wait long for food or drinks. I would gladly come back again.

The best in Rotterdam so far! After having tried a few, I think Gangnam comes closest to a Korean restaurant. Freshly made dishes, beautiful cuts of meat for the BBQ, and creative, delicious cocktails. I can especially recommend the non-alcoholic cocktails for their creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed, even though there are quite a few tables. The staff is friendly, sharp, and still have time for you despite the crowds. I will definitely be coming back here again! Wow, we stuffed ourselves! Excellent all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue. The service was great, welcoming, friendly, and patient, as the team took the time to explain the concept to us. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our favorite meat was the bulgogi. There was a lot of variety to choose from; we were able to try everything in two hours. We finished with scoops of ice cream (included in the set menu), which were also very good. Reasonable prices for all-you-can-eat with drinks not included, around €40 per person. (The restaurant doesn't serve water.) Honestly, great atmosphere, and we'll definitely be back! :)

All the meat is marinated with a lot of starch. And everything is sweet. You have to like that taste. The squid tastes chemical. And the salmon sashimi is not fresh. If you eat that, you can go to the toilet immediately. The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. However, the bimbimbap and the galbi were tasty.

I ate at Gangnam Korean BBQ today and it was truly one of those unexpected gems. I’ve never had Korean barbecue before, so you think: this is bound to be a mess. But no, everything is explained calmly and clearly. Patiently, friendly, as if they know exactly that you’re about to enthusiastically flip the meat without any idea what you’re doing. And then it begins… Choosing 4 items per round. Sounds straightforward. Until your table is suddenly piled high with delicious thinly sliced ​​short ribs, pork belly, salmon, and a few other things that make you think: “I don’t know what it is, but just put it on the grill.” Before you know it, you’re seriously grilling meat as if you know what you’re doing. Turning a bit, watching a bit, nodding every now and then as if you’re applying a technique. Wonderful. That Bulgogi Bibimbap (yes, I had to read that 3 times too)... just order it. Sounds complicated, but it’s actually just a bowl of comfort food where everything is just right. Rice, meat, soft-boiled egg… and suddenly you’re sitting there feeling very pleased with yourself. Add side dishes like kimchi, sweet and sour cucumber, and bean sprouts, and the whole experience is complete. Kimchi gives your taste buds a kick, and the cucumber makes things cozy again afterwards. What’s also top-notch: the service. Simply good. Friendly, relaxed, attentive, and they keep the pace going nicely. And that griddle is constantly being replaced, so you aren't sitting in a cloud of smoke after fifteen minutes as if your own barbecue is getting out of hand. We had to drive 45 minutes to get there, but it was truly worth every penny. In fact, you’re already thinking about when you’re going again, even though you’re actually full. Truly the kind of place you’d happily drive out of your way for. And I don't mean just a short distance. 😄🔥

Incredibly good food and service. We came here on a Tuesday evening so it wasn't that crowded. Staff was really kind and helpful and even the delivery robot deserve a raise! Will definitely come back.

I ate at a Korean restaurant for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The griddles are replaced with a clean one every other minute. And, not unimportantly, the food, especially the meat in my case, is excellent, plentiful, and of good quality. Absolutely recommended for next time. For me, the highlights were: ribeye, marinated beef, prawns, and a fried egg with cheese that you also cook yourself around the griddle—very fun. But the rest was delicious too. All kinds of small bites, but prepared with flavor. And everyone celebrating their birthday gets a firework display with their ice cream dessert, and then you get serenaded—played by the serving robot. It's just really fun! Highly recommended!

Excellent service! We received a fantastic welcome from the very friendly staff, and they quickly and efficiently helped us find a table. The service was also very smooth during our meal, assisted by SoSo the robot. We came here for an à la carte meal and it was delicious! It's also more than enough for those who don't want to eat too much. We will definitely be back to try the all-you-can-eat option. Definitely worth it! Parking in the nearby Kiphof garage is a wise option.

Best place ever! Love the vibe and interior design of this restaurant. The menu is absolutely great and halal! I go here for every celebration I have :) Had my birthday dinner here as well as a celebration for getting a promotion. I recommend this place to all of my friends and they keep going there and also recommend it to others :) I have a dairy allergy and personally don't eat meat, yet I always find things I can eat within their menu. I don't feel restricted whatsoever. They also make use of robot-cat-waiters. Truly, I cannot recommend this place enough!

We go to restaurants to celebrate holidays, but usually we order takeout. A two-person portion can be shared by three people, so the portions are quite generous. The grilled meat is delicious, and I crave it after a while. A robot sings during birthday celebrations, which is quite fun.

There are ready-made meals here, but the experience of baking your own dish is unique! The selection is enormous, with all sorts of meats, fish, and seafood, with all sorts of Asian toppings! And it's all sizzling in front of you. The staff is smiling and very helpful. It's worth a try!

We've been coming here happily for years, and it remains the best Korean BBQ in the Netherlands! Always a wide selection, deliciously marinated meats, and super friendly staff!

We had a tasty meal, though too much. At first I thought it was just BBQ, but there is a section for the BBQ and the rest are side dishes. The BBQ griddle is replaced regularly. The downside remains the smoke that hangs in the air; I always get bothered by it easily. The app on the phone remains small. I would prefer having my own iPad. And in our opinion, the number wasn't displayed clearly everywhere, just like on the menu. The service was good and friendly. I might go back again, but the compartment under the table for the gas bottle holds me back because I can't sit comfortably after sitting for so long.

A great all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot! The service was excellent, the staff was attentive and frequently changed the grill plate. The dishes were delicious and our food arrived quickly after ordering via the QR code.

It is not all you can eat. You pay for all drinks, you pay extra for ice cream, and you pay extra for certain types of meat. On their website it says that you pay for children over 4 years old, but they have changed it and I have to pay 15 euros for fries. A waste of money, and the quality and quantity are also much lower than I have been used to in all-you-can-eat restaurants.

Gangnam does Korean BBQ the way you hope it will be: hot grill in the middle, quick rounds of food, and plenty to choose from. We had bulgogi, pork belly and short rib — the marinades were tasty and charred up nicely on the grill. Sides like kimchi, lettuce, radish and sauces were all there and kept coming. The staff really made it special for us. On request they brought out a singing robot with a sparkling fountain for my daughter — she absolutely loved it. They even had special chopsticks for kids, which made it extra fun and stress-free for families. A couple of orders didn’t arrive at first, but they fixed it straight away. Hot plates got swapped out quickly so you’re never cooking on burnt bits. It’s a lively, busy place but never out of control. Service was warm and fast, drinks came cold, tables were kept clean. We could even push our time by half an hour because our guests arrived late — really appreciated that flexibility. You do leave with a bit of BBQ smell on your clothes (part of the fun), and booking ahead is smart on weekends. Fun, tasty, and surprisingly kids-friendly — we had a great night.

Great place in Rotterdam for Korean BBQ. The menu offers plenty of choices, and if your grill is dirty, they'll change it for you.

Good Korean BBQ restaurant. The food is generally good, but there are some things that aren't as tasty and aren't very convenient (large chunks of bone with meat). The service is good; you don't have to wait long, but they sometimes mix up tables, meaning you don't get your own food (keep a close eye on it if you don't like the dishes!). Plenty of space between tables and inside the restaurant. Easy parking on the street and in nearby parking garages.

There was a lot of confusion about the items...the ordering method...the first round was generously filled with...greens...the second round was meat...not a culinary highlight.

A terrible restaurant, with terrible service. They just throw the food on the table and then demand you pay for drinks you didn't order. The waitress says it's the restaurant's policy to pay for drinks. A complete scam!

Firstly, my girlfriend and I both suffered from diarrhea after eating in this restaurant. The meat was not fresh. Secondly, the young waiters were very friendly and polite, but the manager of this restaurant, a middle-aged lady, was very rude and self-important, which made our dining experience very bad.

My son and I ate here yesterday. Upon arrival, we were welcomed very friendly and taken to our table. We were also immediately given an explanation of how everything works. In the middle of the table you will find the grill plate with extractor hood above it. Because we did not immediately realize that it could be adjusted, I initially sat with a nice hat on. 😉 The grill plate is regularly replaced with a clean one so that you never eat burnt meat/fish. The menu is particularly extensive so that in addition to BBQ, you can order many other dishes, including sushi. Per round 4 items per person and you do this with your phone via the QR code. Everything was really delicious and of excellent quality! It is highly recommended to eat here.

The food was ok, not really special. You had to put salt and pepper on it yourself. The portions are quite big. The staff did their job but really nice.... There was supposed to be a macaron with the ice cream, I asked for it with a wink, only in the summer you get those (thinking smiley) and now they were gone haha Would I go there again? Probably not.

The best KBBQ in Rotterdam in my opinion. The have the nicest meat choices and not to many. This way they can focus on the quality instead of the quantity. The ingredients are really fresh, which automatically makes a lot of dishes taste good, not rubbery, not fishy and easier to cook. The drink choices are really nice as well. Everytime I come here, I have a good experience and a very full belly.

The best all-you-can-eat place I've been to so far! The quality is not lost due to the all-you-can-eat concept. Normally places like that have a maximum of 4 stars and that is already high. Gangnam Korean BBQ scores (at the time of posting this review) 4.3 stars. Definitely deserved in my opinion. The service is fantastic, very civilized and helpful staff. The food is tasty and tastes like quality. The service is quite neutral, there is not much to say about it. If you like BBQ or Korean food I would absolutely recommend this place!

We visited this Korean BBQ restaurant with a reservation on Sunday. I really loved the food and the overall vibe, and the staff were nice. However, there were a couple of hiccups that could be improved. We ordered some barbecue dishes along with other food, but only the barbecue items didn’t arrive for over 30 minutes. We eventually asked the staff about it, and thankfully they served the food right away. It turned out our order had been missed, but no one checked in with us while we were just waiting at an empty table, and we didn’t really get apologies. (Kind of understandable since it was a busy time.) Another minor issue was when we still had plenty of sauce left on a plate, and a staff member took it away without asking. We didn’t get a chance to ask for it back, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a really nice place for dinner and I’d still recommend it. Just hope the service goes a bit more smoothly next time!

Great experience and highly recommended

This is our favorite Korean BBQ place in Rotterdam. We prefer it over Seoul Sista because they have better ssamjang, better marinades for meat and generally fresher food. Also, as a big plus, they have a coat room, so your jacket doesn't smell like beef when you get out. We find it funny how they have many rules written in their menu, with lots of exclamation points (!!!!!!). Like, 1 drink minimun per person!! We will charge you for the food you don't eat!!!!! :D Ok! We get it. No need to shout. But luckily they're shouting only on the menu, in real life the service is really nice. :) We go there regularly.

How good this was! We really enjoyed not only the BBQ (marinated bulgogi and the squid was our favorite) but so much more! The oxtail soup is so incredibly tasty, the kimbap delicious, the sotteok was surprisingly tasty and the haemul pajeon ridiculously delicious… you can wake me up for the kimchi and the rest of the banchan! Everything so fresh and what nice, lovely people in the service, friendliness at its best! We will be back soon!
