The people who work here have intellectual disabilities, which is what makes it so special. The ice cream comes from the farmer and is truly delicious.

This is a beautiful place with beautiful people. Around 10 mins from Rotterdam port so a great place to sit have a drink and something to eat.

We as a group of 11 bikers ( motorcycles) called here before boarding the ship from Rotterdam to Hull. What a little gem of a place it is, biker freindly. Only 10 mins from port and easy to find via sat nav it is definitely worth a visit. Pleasant serene surroundings and a lovely modern interior, this is an ideal place to pop down to on your bikes for a bit of chill time, lovely staff, very accomodating and really good food. Highly recommended. Thank you to all the staff that made our short stay enjoyable relaxing and worthwhile.

Nice, somewhat unknown place to stop for coffee with homemade treats or lunch. Lovely service that seriously does its best. Say a grateful cup of coffee. Under the trees in the shade also fine in warm weather.

What a nice location. Both in the service and in the kitchen people with a disability work who are guided/managed well and friendly. Nice, not too extensive menu. Only open from Mon/Fri until 16:00. Good price/quality ratio. Nice terrace with a view over the fields.

Found this gem of hospitality en route to the ferry and decided to give it a try for lunch before heading to Europoort (conveniently near). Very nice, quiet location and excellent service from the lovely team who run it. I had the 12-uurtje and my husband tried the omelette. Tea and coffee were also fabulous.

There is a very nice gasterij in the vast Voornse polder. The welcome was warm and the food delicious, it was prepared with love and you can taste it. If you are in the area, be sure to stop at the Bollaarshoeve.

Always good food! The Sandwitch Chicken is the regular order! Very tasty with crispy bacon and baked apple. Highly recommended! The tuna salad is also very tasty. Staff is always friendly and pleasant.

Bij Gasterij de Bollaarshoeve heb ik onlangs een zakelijke lunch gehad, en het was een zeer fijne ervaring. Het eten was heerlijk; je merkt meteen dat alles vers bereid wordt. De porties waren precies goed – genoeg om te genieten zonder dat het teveel werd. Wat me vooral opviel, was de enorme gastvrijheid van de medewerkers. Ze waren vriendelijk, attent en zorgden ervoor dat alles naar wens was. Het bijzondere van deze locatie is dat bijna alle werkzaamheden uitgevoerd worden door mensen met een handicap. Dit geeft een extra dimensie aan de beleving en maakt de Bollaarshoeve echt uniek. De open keuken is ook een groot pluspunt. Je kunt zien hoe alles schoon en netjes wordt bereid, wat vertrouwen geeft in de kwaliteit. Voor zowel een zakelijke afspraak als een ontspannen lunch is dit een perfecte plek. Absoluut een aanrader.

Great location, very good atmosphere, delicious food with a beautiful view of the polder. Parking was easy. The employees really do their utmost for the guests to make it as comfortable and cozy as possible.

Had a very nice high tea. Divided over 4 courses. There was also an adapted version for the children, which was well received. Highly recommended!

Afstappen van de fiets om hier voor heerlijke koffie met appeltaart uit eigen keuken te nuttigen. Leuk terras met uitzicht naar de Brielse dom. Lief personeel! Lunch ook goed.

This week I was in Brielle, where I paid 6.75 euros for a mini piece of brownie... I'd rather just eat with my friends from the Bollaarshoeve. 7.50 euros for a 12-hour session. Everything nice and fresh and affordable!

Too bad the prices are about 20% too high for what you get. I think a sandwich for €9.50 is quite pricey. I think a mini glass of iced coffee with less than 150 ml of coffee for €3.90 is far too expensive. The sandwich and iced coffee were tasty, but nothing more than that. Too bad, not good enough for me to have lunch there again.

In one word: Fantastic! Sweet, pure service. Honest and delicious food. A gem in green to remember!

Gasterij de Bollaarshoeve is run by people with intellectual disabilities and they are soooo good at what they do! ( see the pictures) Theme evening was British. Delicious food. I will definitely come again, but with my husband. She also loves good food.

I came in fifteen minutes before closing time and was able to order a sandwich and a tea. Very nice. Nice, quiet atmosphere and nice staff.

What a nice and cozy place this is. Enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee with a large piece of homemade apple pie. Very friendly staff who were really looking forward to it. We will definitely come back, but for lunch because that is also possible there.

Fijne plek om te lunchen, t was heerlijk weer dus we hebben lekker buiten gezeten! De kroketten met brood zijn echt een aanrader net zoals de tomatensoep die is heerlijk, al mag er wel wat meer brood bij(ik kreeg nog geen halve boterham erbij). Fijne bediening, zeker een plek waar we vaker gaan komen om te lunchen! Dank aan de chef vandaag weer de heerlijke tomatensoep gegeten, fantastisch!

Heel gezellig ondanks het slechte weer. Een aanrader de omelet was geweldig.

Rustig hebben we met mijn zussen een high tea genomen en waren zeer blij verrast van de heerlijke hapjes . Uitmuntend personeel waren blij met de hulp die we kregen en waren ook correct in het serveren. Een top aan rader maar zeker waar voor je geld . We hebben een heerlijke middag gehad met zijn drieën

Er ging van alles mis. Geen servetjes, bord met eten gevallen, 3 theezakjes voor een tafel van 10 personen, eten viel erg tegen, soms wist men echt niet wat men moest doen etc. Dat de bediening niet perfect was doordat hier mensen met een beperking werken is helemaal niet erg maar dit was ongelooflijk. Hier kom ik dus niet terug.

Wat een leuke hightea hebben we gehad bij de Bollaarshoeve. Fijne en vooral heel lieve en charmante bediening, en de hightea met onbeperkt thee was verrukkelijk. Is zeker een aanrader! We komen snel weer! :-)

Cappuccino en tosti waren OK. Het was heel rustig tijdens mijn bezoek.
