Quiet terrace at the rear of the restaurant with a view of the monastery garden. Beautiful location right by the Arboretum (open every afternoon, except Mondays). Tivoli Public Observatory is open on Sunday afternoons.

Sint Janstraat 61Unfortunately, the Chinese restaurant at the market in Etten-Leur, where we normally go, was closed. What a slap in the face this Chinese place is. Tomato sauce with a little bit of pan-fried noodles. Half portions, tasteless, and a long wait.

Bovenstraat 4I ate there once; it was quite nice. At the end of the evening, they started cleaning in the open kitchen and scrubbing the kitchen floor. Not very classy when you're still enjoying a cup of coffee there. Recently, I tried to make a reservation for a group of 11 people. After repeatedly calling, emailing, knocking on the door, and dropping a letter in the mailbox, I received no response. I'm done with the restaurant.
