My favorite pizza in the entire city. Not only a delicious wood fired oven pizza, but also amazing pricing, much more affordable than other top pizza's in Groningen. Mikaeel (owner) is also a really nice guy who you can have a great conversation with while waiting for your pizza.

After reading all these super-positive reviews I had to check this out. The owner is easy-going and nice. Honestly, the pizza's were a bit of a let down. It wasn't terrible, but maybe my expectations were too high. Not a lot of toppings, and the toppings which were on there were of low quality (felt like the toppings came out of an Aldi or something). The dough/crust was okay.

Artisanal charming chef. After passing his wood-fired pizza point many times, I had to give it a try. Especially after local Italians told me that Giorgio baked their favorite pizzas. Oven with fire on logs, friendly chef, thin(er) base, just right and the prices are fair. I lost less than 10 euros. Finally: as standard, he also cuts the pizzas before the box is closed. So you take the pizza with you “ready to eat”. Whether you're on the road or sitting on the couch at home ;)

Op het verjaardagsfeest van onze vrienden was Giorgio voor alle gasten pizza’s aan het bakken. De pizza’s waren heerlijk: de bodem krokant en goed belegd. Hij was zelfs zo vriendelijk om mij tips te geven om mijn eigen pizzadeeg beter te maken, echt een hele lieve man!

Heerlijk!! Echt genoten, goede pizza. Super lieve man ook. Zeer tevreden.

Just found the best pizza in the north of the Netherlands. Was riding a bike with my son and saw this little stand with wood fire oven. Immediately hit the breaks. Thin crust, delicious sauce, nice cheese and fresh basil. Some lovely bubbling on the rim - as real pizza should have. Cooked in 60-90 seconds. 7 euros (twice cheaper than popular corporate chains). This is a gem. Go here when he is open! I believe it is 16:00 to 20:00 Wednesday through Sunday.

I'm Italian and Giorgio is not. But it doesn't matter because he makes da pizza like a real Italian man! This is absolutely the best pizza in Groningen
