Grand Café Atlantic in Wijk 61 Krommenie Oost

Had a wonderful meal yesterday. The atmosphere was great, all the tables were full, and yet the service was fantastic. You don't see that often anymore: excellent service. Well, at Atlantic, they're definitely there! Hats off to them. The food was delicious, as always. I had the Angus steak, cooked perfectly. Delicious with fries topped with truffle and cheese. We'll definitely be doing this again soon!

Cozy and good food and also good service

We went here on the recommendation of friends; we always appreciate the atmosphere of a Grand Café; no frills, just good food. Our experience at Atlantic didn't live up to the standard of food. The tiered appetizer was abysmal; boring little appetizers and little flavor experience. The main course was spare ribs, but instead of a deliciously marinated piece of meat, it was a plain spare rib with a bland sweet sauce. This is unacceptable; spare ribs should be a flavorful experience, not a mouthful of boring pork. In short, not a good first-time experience at this restaurant.

A cozy, busy, and atmospheric place, with an excellent menu. The goat cheese sandwich was incredibly delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

A nice and cozy restaurant, great service! Only the eel on toast offered on the plate as a starter for €18.50 (we ordered two eels for €4.50 extra instead of the salmon that came with it!) was very frugal!!!!...it was just a few strange strands and a lot of lettuce in between. They didn't tell us it was a tapas appetizer...NOT VALUE FOR MONEY, and luckily the door was closed otherwise we wouldn't have had anything ;)

We had carpaccio as a starter, and for the main course, my husband had spare ribs and I had duck breast. Everything was delicious, except for the garnish on the duck breast: cilantro! About 10% of the population finds it tastes like soap, and so do I. Because the lighting wasn't very good, I couldn't remove it. At the end of the meal, I mentioned it to the server, but they shrugged. "Please, no more garnish, there's no need for it."

We ate here yesterday, and the food was delicious. We had oysters, sole, and duck breast. They have a lot of specials on the menu. The service was good ^^ and, for me, at a good pace (not too slow, not too fast). I like the decor and the atmosphere. The atmosphere was also good ^^. We'll definitely eat here again, and then we'll have a more elaborate meal ^^.

We had a delicious meal at Grand Café Atlantic tonight. The staff is very friendly and attentive to detail. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a delicious Chateau Briand meal.

No air conditioning or it wasn't working. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the service was great!

Niet voor de eerste keer gaan eten met mijn kleinkinderen bij Atlantic. Maar deze keer was 1 of de kok ziek of 2 ze zijn afgeweken van het vertrouwde. De broodjes met smeersel zijn top, hier kun je niet veel aan verpesten. Ik had zelf een salade (kleintje) lekker. Mijn kleindochter had spareribs besteld. ze kwamen op tafel toen vroeg ze meteen, dit is kip oma, ze zijn wit! nee, lieverd dat kan niet!!! En de saus die er overheen zat was gewoon curry!!!! Mijn kleinzoon had de Ierse Ossenhaas, die was doorbakken! Wij hebben iets hierover gezegd maar er is niets meegedaan! Zo jammer!!!

Ate here tonight. I had venison steak and my wife had sea bream. Everything tasted great. Dessert was delicious. The waiter came by and asked us if we wanted to drink a cava. He was standing at the table with the bottle. We thought that was a bit thoughtful. A drink on the house. Unfortunately... The cava per glass (€7.90) was simply on the bill. Really a shame. At the end of the evening a cappuccino with oat milk (€0.95) extra on the bill for oat milk!! Add to that the extra mushrooms with onion (€3.00) and the bowl with 3 mini chicory with cheese and ham (€5.00). Then the total (See invoice) is quite a lot of money for what you get. I don't want to complain, but €117.10 is quite expensive. We often eat out but this was a bit disappointing in terms of price/quality. The service was fine, too bad about the cava and the extra oat milk price. Those are the little things that make or break it.

In alles laat men zien wat gastheerschap inhoud. Geweldig kundig personeel en heerlijke producten. Ook een geweldige uitgebreide selectie dranken met zelf een 20 jaar oude tawny port. Hier gaan wij vaker heen.

We went for a quick drink and chose the Spanish snack platter. This was really meager: 3 pieces of manchego, 5 slices of fuet, 5 olives, some ham, chorizo ​​and cervelat. It was not in proportion to the price. Too bad!

het belangerijkst was dat mijn zussen en ik ons op ons gemak zouden voelen, dat het gezellig zou zijn, want zo vaak zien we elkaar niet. vier 70 plussers! ik denk dat onze serveerster dat goed opgepakt heeft want ze deed echt haar best het naar ons zin te maken en was goedlachs:) tot onze verbazing was het eten dat we lukraak uit het menu hadden geplukt heel goed. alleen de sashimi vond ik apart, daar had ik nog wel met de chef over willen praten, uit interesse want het smaakte wel lekker. tja, wat nog meer? we werden blij van de rekening die we allemaal hoger hadden geschat. dus, al met al een hele goede ervaring.

Sandwiches are quite expensive (between 14-17 euros), especially if you look carefully at what you get because they are too thickly cut sandwiches and the toppings have too much fuss. With a carpaccio sandwich you don't want half a vegetable garden on your bread. Too bad, but this was really the last time for us.

Arrived unexpectedly and so pleasantly surprised that I really wanted to write a positive message. I ordered the salad with warm goat cheese and everything about this salad was perfect. Now you may think, oh, what can you do wrong with a salad? Well believe me, a lot! But this salad was perfect, fresh crunchy ingredients with little surprises (dried fruit), delicious dressing with a touch, so that the salad did not 'suck in'... the walnuts fresh and crispy and then the goat cheese... a soft, creamy, slightly grainy it melted in your mouth... pure enjoyment! Add to that the more than cozy interior and attentive and friendly staff... nothing more you can do about it!

Altijd gezellig en heerlijk eten!

Heel gezellige sfeer, vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. We waren er niet lang maar het voelde heel goed.

Heerlijk lunch gebruikt hier. Ruime porties van zeer goede kwaliteit.

Leuk tentje met lekker eten. De vegan in onze groep was erg blij met de vegan optie op het menu. Niet alleen omdat het heel lekker was, maar ook omdat de portie groot genoeg was om vullend te zijn.

Bediening keek zuur op 1 man na had er niemand zin in.. Wagyu was een slecht stuk.. cheesecake smaakte meer naar boerencake. Pasta had meer sperziebonen dan pasta.. Wel mooi restaurant.

Gisteren een broodje Carpaccio gegeten, want niet slecht smaakte, maar eenmaal thuis hevige krampen en alles zo weer de wc in. Uurtje later weer boven het toilet. De hele nacht krampen gehad. Ik heb ze netjes een mail gestuurd , dat er iets niet goed aan is geweest, maar krijg geen reactie van ze. Helaas, ik denk stuur ze eerst netjes een mail en niet meteen een slechte beoordeling. Maar als er helemaal niet op gereageerd wordt... Voor mij was dit de 1e en de laatste keer.

Mijn zoon en ik hebben gisteravond heerlijk gegeten, en het erg gezellig hebben gehad. En de Irish Coffee was precies zoals ik hem lekker vind.

Zaterdagavond,in recordtempo gezorgd dat wij ,onverwacht!!, met 40 personen terecht konden, voor een heel gezellig en lekker 3 gangen menu. Christien ,medewerker kringloopwinkel XopX Limmen.

Heel mooi gedecoreerde zaak met vriendelijk personeel. Zowel geluncht als diner gegeten. Al vonden wij het diner tegenvallen. Bijna geen bijgerecht naast de zalm.

Lekker en gezellig geluncht. Was zelfs op een woensdagmiddag gezellig. Aardige bediening, goed eten , wat wil je nog meer.
