Grand café Chagall in Wijk 00 Centrum

Last week, with the youth group, we had two delicious meals on the terrace. We went back last Friday because the chicken fillet with mozzarella was so delicious. When my food was served, I could clearly see a difference; it looked much less appetizing and appealing. The chef who worked that evening has a lot to learn from the other chef. The food was very disappointing to me. I also mentioned this to the waitress. I sincerely hope you will do something about this.

We asked the beautiful blonde waitress some time to chose a drink from the menu. She said she would be "right back". It wasn't crowded at all. We saw her chatting and joking with the other patrons for 30 minutes at least. Then we decided to leave. We've been there already 4 times in the last two years and the service has always been appaling. Maybe they don't like foreigners?

The four of us enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon on the terrace at Chagall. We had lunch, followed by drinks and snacks. Everything was excellent and taken care of quickly, with friendly and efficient service.

Cosy terrace and nice service. Menu not a wide range but what is on it is definitely recommended. A large choice of drinks and beers.

Had a few drinks on June 6, it was nice. A group of drunk men were a bit annoying on the terrace.

Sat in the back of the conservatory on a Sunday. I think they lost sight of us, waited way too long for both drinks and food. Had to go to the bar myself to order And promptly got moldy cheese Worthless

On King's Day we went into the café to order special beer. I was given 3 plastic cups (no problem) and 3 bottles of beer and a white wine (half a glass). When it was finished, the waiter came and asked if we wanted to order anything else. We ordered the same thing and a liefmans instead of wine. When the waiter brought it, there was so much ice in the liefmans that the glass was empty after just two sips. He also only had 1 bottle of beer and 3 glasses, 2 of which were already filled with beer. We asked where are the other 2 bottles of special beer. That's in these glasses and he was gone. So we paid €6.20 for 1 glass of beer!!! While the first time we just got a bottle. I think they just divided 1 bottle over 2 glasses and charged double. Besides the fact that it wasn't the same beer. We really felt cheated.

Great tent. There is room for improvement, the limoncello is not really tasty. It is also not cold. Definitely an area for improvement.

During carnival we entered this crowded cafe. Crowds during carnival are normal, but this was unsafe. People were so close together that you couldn't go anywhere. When we attempted to go outside, a security guard walked through the crowd without any decency. I spoke to him respectfully about it after he pushed me with his shoulder and I was laughed at by this man. We walked further outside and in front of us there was a woman who was not very tall and she was elbowed in the body and head by the people who were barely dancing. When we were outside after a lot of effort, I indicated to another security guard who worked at the cafe that it was too busy inside and it was not safe this way. This dear man's response was that it is not his problem. Poorly organised.

The first time we came here. Also really the last time. Received dirty glass, we were told it was the carbon dioxide. But they were red drops on the outside of the glass. Finally he took the glass with him. Tipped the drink into a new glass and served it again. This could be seen by the ice, which was half melted. After this I got an old cheese sandwich. I wondered if there was mold on the cheese. Indicated to the waitress that I thought there was mold on my cheese. A few moments later a man walked up to me and said “did you really think there was mold on your cheese?! Those are salt crystals!! “I couldn't say anything back because he stormed back into the business. I would rather not be treated this way and I will not come back here again.

The worst pea soup I have ever eaten

Ordered a lunch platter, unfortunately the soup was far too sharp, unedible! Gave it back, they had no replacement for the soup, I could get a piece of bread ????? Response from the waitress, yes your neighbor at the other table said it too ???

A more than good catering facility. Extensive and carefully composed menu. Also an excellent drink selection. Conviviality abounds in this location with an informal atmosphere. Employees are very hospitable and extremely professional. Terrace available. Other facilities were also well organised. A visit to this much-vaunted venue is highly recommended!

We have been to the restaurant several times. The food was just very disappointing. My pancake really could have been better. My partner had a bouncer. Ice cold the first time. The second one still had quite a lot of snot on it. Staff was friendly, perhaps even apprenticed.

The service was very slow, we had to wait more than half an hour before they came by to take our order.

It took a long time before we got our order. Hot chocolate and coffee. The ordered apple pie did not arrive. Our drinks had been gone for quite some time. Then we asked ourselves if we were still getting the cake. We got that. The cake was completely burnt. We asked for another piece of cake, but the whole cake was burnt. You don't even offer something like that...... what a bad experience.

Never coming back. Waited over an hour on a Monday afternoon for our food. And the food wasn't even tasty… Bread was very hard! Definitely not recommended if you are an immigrant. Then you will be ignored even more…

Unfortunately, the Dame Blanche was not what it should have been, a real learning experience for the kitchen. Make it something beautiful instead of simple with some flakes. Staff very understanding and friendly. Yes, the man with the hat is not in the photo, but please provide us with a tip. Furthermore, it is always a pleasant terrace visit.

Spontaan bedacht hier lekker te lunchen. Was niet erg druk. Iemand aan onze tafel moest 20 minuten op een drankje wachten terwijl de rest al wat had. Na meerdere malen vragen kwam er eerst het verkeerde en toen het goede drankje maar zonder glas. We hadden (helaas) al eten besteld. Na 30 minuten wachten gevraagd waar het bleef. Ze ging het navragen maar nooit terugkoppeling gehad. Ivm andere afspraken hebben we meerdere malen om het eten gevraagd. Na een uur kwam - zonder excuses! - het eten. Het eten was wel vers dat wel. Smaak was goed. Maar een uur op je eten wachten is onacceptabel. Manage in ieder geval de verwachtingen van je gasten als de keuken die 10 bestellingen niet aan kan.

Pity The icing on the cake is that when paying, 'sorry we couldn't find a bowl for the dog, unfortunately these were lost' We solved this problem ourselves by ordering a blue spa at the cafeteria across the street and putting it in the ashtray so that our four-legged friend also has something to drink! SAD ! I do not recommend this store!

Clearly underage children of ~14 were drunk and had open bottles of desperado in their hands. Later that evening, the three had difficulty cycling home. Very irresponsible behavior from the bar owner. He is completely incapable and does not deserve a tap license. One word: outrageous!

Often lunching here on sunny days, the terrace is full then. Love food and drinks, pity that they removed kit-kat latte from the menu. Atmosphere and stuff are amazing. The only downside is that in busy hours waiting time is significant, sometimes confusing/forgetting about the order.

Had to wait more than an hour for our lunch. Drinks came quickly. If the terrace is full, it is better to sit somewhere else

Op deze mooie, zonnige dag werden wij aangetrokken door de aangename zitjes op het terras. We wilden graag iets drinken en lunchen. Groot was onze verbazing toen de serveerster bij elk tafeltje de ondankbare taak had om te melden dat het wegens de drukte ong. 3 kwartier zou duren vooraleer een (eenvoudige) lunch opgediend kon worden. (Het terras was trouwens nog lang niet volzet.) Heel vreemd, temeer daar al een hele week een prachtige dag voorspeld werd. Je zou toch denken dat daar op ingespeeld wordt. Na onze koffie zijn we dan maar ergens anders gaan lunchen.

Sfeervol grand café. Mijn wrap met oosterse kip was lekker. Alleen jammer dat het lang duurde voordat de bestelling op onze tafel kwam terwijl wij zowat de enige gasten waren.

Hier is nergens op de kwaliteit van de ingrediënten bespaart. We hebben hier zeer goed gegeten. De moeite waard.

Attente bediening die zorgde voor een relaxed verblijf. Goed glas wijn, uitgebreide borrel plank vervolmaakten het geheel.

Eten besteld. 1,5 uur gewacht. Luidruchtige mensen die later komen krijgen direct eten. Ik vraag serveerster...hoe het staat. Het komt er zo aan zegt ze... Nog een half uur wachten... ik vraag een andere serveerster wat de status is omdat we echt weg moeten anders... duurt weer bijna 15 minuten... Zegt ze... ze moeten er nog aan beginnen.... Waardenloze ballentent

Wat een enorme waardeloze zaak, Eten is bij deze zaak een wedstrijd,je bord is koud, eten koud en te gaar.Vies bord.De diamanthaas spies was gewoon te koud om op te eten, degene in de keuken snapt zijn vak echt niet.Eens en nooit meer hier.

Wij hebben geluncht maar helaas viel het eten een beetje tegen, de tosti's van de kinderen waren optijd, mijn eten volgde best snel maar dat van mijn man kwam pas toen wij het al bijna op hadden. Tafel was vies, gevraagd om schoon te maken maar de dame had geen doekje maar kwam dus ook nooit meer terug met het doekje.... Erg jammer

Heerlijk eten en leuke sfeer, zeker als savonds de muziek harder gaat en je lekker kan blijven hangen.

Jammer dat de bediening niet de juiste bestelling opneemt en weinig kan anticiperen op de drukte op het terras. Kwaliteit van het eten en drinken is zeer goed. Daar ligt het niet aan en dat is zo jammer. Het is gelukkig verbeterd!

Super lekker heel gezellig en vriendelijke bediening.

Positief verrast! Op de bonnefooi naartoe gegaan voor ons diner in Roosendaal. Het beviel mijn vriend en mij zo erg, dat wij later weer terug zijn gegaan. Waarna het personeel vriendelijk vroeg hoe het diner was. Dat was wel leuk! Het personeel is enthousiast en vriendelijk. De drankjes werden snel uitgeserveerd. De cocktails smaakte heerlijk. De inrichting is nonchalant en leuk. En de muziek maakte de sfeer tot een ware ervaring.

Vlees dinner was wat droog, salade was wat eenzijdig. Ambiance en service was goed.

We hebben heerlijk genoten. Leuke vriendelijke service. Het eten was geweldig. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Gezellig plekje. Heb buiten gezeten ,teras is prima. Binnen is het ook heel gezellig. Vriendelijk personeel.

Het was heel slecht weer, maar we konden toch lekker op het verwarmde terras zitten. Heerlijk! Lekkere lunch en een goed glas wijn!
