We had a wonderful meal today at De Majesteit in Kampen! 🍽️✨ We started with a lovely bottle of sweet wine and a fresh tomato soup. Afterward, we chose the Majesteit Tasting Platter, a delicious mix of meat and fish. And what a treat it was! 🤩 The steak was super tender, the salmon delicious, the chicken thigh flavorful, and the prawns in sauce were truly fantastic too. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. Additionally, the friendly staff, the quick service, and the beautiful location certainly deserve a compliment. You feel welcome immediately, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. In short: we had a wonderful evening and it is definitely highly recommended! We would love to come back to De Majesteit in Kampen again! ❤️🍷

Great service, beautiful place, a true grand café. Great specialty beers, and it was nice that the staff pointed us to the QR code; there were even more beers underneath. We also decided to have dinner. The food was very good, tender meat and generous portions for a good price. Highly recommended. It was quite full, though, so I would recommend making a reservation. We will definitely be back.

Super hospitable and friendly service. Many different specialty beers, also on tap. And an excellent menu. Today we went for the tasting platter for 2 people. A board with a mix of fish and meat, served with fries and salad. This is enough for two people. We had had a bread board beforehand (also delicious fresh rolls with aioli, herb butter, and tapenade), so after the tasting we had more than enough. That is why I skipped the Dame Blanche. It is once again a pleasure to eat and have a drink here. The Gouden Carolus is highly recommended.

Old-fashioned, cozy eatery. The food was good and the service very friendly. A nice place to enjoy a bite to eat and a drink.

I had the steak and it was raw when asked for medium. The waitress did ask if I wanted to send it back to be cooked a bit more however sending a steak back to a chef in my experience is not always a good idea. We had flys and bugs hovering around our inside table the whole time. Wouldn't go back! There are plenty of places to eat close by that are better.

I had a ham sandwich for lunch. I haven't had such tasty ham in ages. Afterwards, I had a couple of delicious cocktails with friends. Great place, friendly staff, you get served quickly and receive good advice. I won't mention names because I don't know them all, but ladies; if you know, you know.

With six people, we enjoyed a 5-course high spritz, a high beer, and a high wine. It was very nice that there was something for everyone in terms of drinks. The various spritzes were very well received, as were the specialty beers and the variety of wines. We started with a well-stocked platter of various tasty snacks, which we could have replenished throughout the evening. However, with the five courses of food, this was actually not necessary. The five different courses tasted very good and were varied. There was also a course with fish; for those who didn't like fish, there was meat. The friendly staff kept us well informed about both the drinks and the food. We found it a successful afternoon/evening and will certainly come back again.

Fine in itself, but what ruined everything a bit was that during all three courses (for 10 people), our dishes and those of another table were mixed up. Continuously: "We didn't order that. No, that isn't for us. We didn't have soup." It detracted a bit from the overall experience.

It took quite a while for the wait staff to come and take our order. One lady worked very hard and the rest were just wandering around a bit. The food wasn't special, not too expensive, a decent meal for a decent price. Nothing more than that....

Large quantity and wide selection

Plenty of restaurants on this square. Had lunch here on recommendation. Several tables were already reserved. Still managed to find a nice spot. The coffee could have been a bit stronger. The Broodje Majesteit was a hit.

The food here is incredibly delicious, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and the waitresses really pamper you and make sure you want for nothing! Highly recommended: but try the Kamperstoof... tasty 😃

Gilde Amersfoort concluded its annual outing with 60 city guides with a more than excellent buffet at De Majesteit in Kampen. Roxanne and her team ensured that we wanted for nothing. We ate and drank wonderfully, and the service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

We had a nice meal. Unfortunately, the soup wasn't really hot, and the same went for the cappuccino.

The restaurant has a fine atmosphere, but the waitresses were outwardly unfriendly and inattentive. Moreover, the tomato soup was cold, and so was the coffee. When we asked for a salad with burrata, we explicitly requested the version with pesto, but the balsamic version was served instead. When we pointed this out, the reaction was indignant; clearly not customer-friendly. Everything was eventually sorted out, but the overall experience was woefully unsatisfactory, especially for the price.

They had a high tea delivered for me because I wasn't able to attend myself. I was kept fully informed via the app that the voucher had arrived. Really fantastic, great service. Thanks again, and the recipient was very enthusiastic about it.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't anything special. The brie toastie was served cold/lukewarm and looked a bit underwhelming. The salmon sandwich was also served on brown bread, even though we ordered white bread. Furthermore, it wasn't possible to use the €100 voucher in installments; it had to be used all at once. We found the explanation for this unclear/vague, a strange policy. As a result, we had to return again to use the full voucher.

What a beautiful and cozy restaurant! It has a wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. We opted for the three-course surprise menu. Something for everyone. Meat, fish, fries, soup, and delicious desserts! Highly recommended.

Had a delicious beer tasting board at Majes. Since the recent renovation, it looks fantastic inside! I came in for a nice beer, but because of the wide selection, I let the bartender work her magic and sold me a board with various specialty beers to try. Definitely recommended for those who can't decide and want to treat themselves!

We've been coming to Grandcafé De Majesteit in Kampen several times now, and we love it. We had a wonderful Christmas meal here – more than enough, and everything tasted excellent. It's also a great spot for a tasty lunch or one of the delicious waffles with generous toppings – highly recommended! The recently renovated interior creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. And what always stands out: the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every time, it feels like a warm welcome!

It's the perfect restaurant for a relaxed, delicious meal and drinks with friends, or in our case, family. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

On a busy Friday evening, the two of us spontaneously decided to pop into Restaurant Majeteit in Kampen. Without a reservation, we asked for a table for two—a bold move, as the restaurant was full and had many reservations. It was "Proef Kampen" that evening. The waitress went above and beyond and managed to seat us. It immediately felt like hospitality. The service was exemplary: our table was immediately cleaned and neatly re-set. It gave us the feeling of genuine attention to detail. It was reminiscent of what comedian Lebbis once described as the perfect terrace: a place where everything is perfect, from the atmosphere to the small gestures. A glass of water with the wine, friendly advice when ordering—such details make all the difference. I chose the delicious mustard soup and a mixed meat platter. My partner had a bread board with spreads and steak slices. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right: more than enough, but not excessive. And all for a very reasonable price. It was an evening of hospitality, quality, and ambiance. Restaurant Majeteit proves that a full house doesn't have to be an obstacle to offering guests a warm welcome and a carefree experience.

Enjoyed an evening at Her Majesty's with my wife and three daughters. We had a delicious bowl of nachos beforehand. The girls had a delicious children's menu and poffertjes; a nice amount too. We enjoyed a fish and meat tasting board. We don't like fish ourselves, this was converted into meat without any problems. The girls were even allowed to choose a delicious ice cream. All dishes were superb and the service was also a big 10!

This eatery is worth its stars on all fronts. On Monday evening we had a delicious and fresh meal: the starter, the tasting, and the main course, the salmon rolls and butter dish. Price-quality is definitely worth it! Beautifully served and friendly staff. We immediately felt "at home". Unfortunately I left my phone behind, but the staff made an effort to track me down. When I picked up I was offered free coffee with 3 petit fours and everyone was understanding and attentive. Do you live or go to Kampen??? Really go to "Your Majesty", you will be treated like a 'royal'.

The starter was excellent, but the main course had some room for improvement. The spareribs were too tough and the bun with the burger was dry. The music was too loud, making it difficult to hear each other. The staff are friendly and the value for money is good.

This consisted of a piece of spare ribs and fillet satay. The hare satay was very tasty. Spare ribs could have been more tender. But if you are very hungry, order this main course. You get a lot. Service was fast and very friendly. The decoration is cozy.
