Very mediocre service. I got the feeling like they didn't want to be there at all. Very negative atmosphere. The food wasn't special either, so definitely not worth the money.

Very good Grand Café, I visit regularly when I'm in the area, nice menu, everything fresh, a nice atmosphere and equally nice service!

I ate here with my family on April 24. The food was delicious (salmon). The staff was attentive and cheerful.

Tasty dishes and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

Don't go here for dinner. There were four of us and we had spareribs twice, sirloin steak once, and a schnitzel. The sirloin steak was far too salty and overcooked. The vegetables were too raw, the corn on the cob looked like it came from a can and had a very chemical taste, and the mashed potatoes were tasteless. There was also a very limited selection of soft drinks. The staff clearly weren't interested.

Spacious tent with vintage decor. 1960s-70s vibe. Cool. Excellent coffee and a variety of pastries. Decaf too.

Because the café was closing, we were allowed to have a beer upstairs! It was disappointing to find an empty bar where we had to ask for some nuts or cheese, but actually, we got nothing. Not a piece of cheese or sausage, no. Well, a bowl of nuts/peanuts then. That was it! Apparently, that's how it goes on Tuesdays!

It says you're open on Sundays from 12:00; but we're faced with a closed door. ??

Super cozy café, where I like to go with my mother. The toilet is a disaster for a wheelchair, but that is the only downside. The food is good, the prices very reasonable and the staff is great!

A bit crowded and dated, but definitely a fun place to hang out. The late-night snack was also highly recommended.

Authentic Café restaurant with a sublime kitchen. A steak to just suck down and the same goes for the spareribs. Deliciously served with sauces of your choice, grandma's fries, fresh salad and a delicious chicory. Smooth service, nice terrace in the center of Dedemsvaart. An absolute must.

Service unfortunately very haughty. For the rest it is ok. On a next visit to Dedemsvaart we will walk around it with a big arc.

Staff paid little attention to the guests. It wasn't busy but it was still difficult to make contact to order a drink. Coffee after dinner at 8:30 PM was no longer possible because the coffee machine had just been cleaned.

The restaurant made a good impression — the portions are large and the food is truly delicious. Every dish was hearty, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even though the restaurant wasn’t full, we had to wait quite a while for our order and for staff attention throughout the meal. Other than that, it’s a great spot for those who appreciate tasty food and generous portions. If you’re not in a rush and don’t mind waiting a bit — definitely worth a visit!

Cosy, atmospheric Grand Café “'t Dorp”. Beautiful interior, nice service. The coffee is TOP and the pastries are heavenly. You come in and you are, as it were, embraced. It's that we had appointments otherwise we could have just spent the rest of the day there. Highly recommended.

This eatery takes some getting used to, it looks a bit messy, artistic, but cozy. Food is excellent and tasty, the 12 hour meal is highly recommended.

Beautiful location, fast service, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks for a very reasonable price. Definitely go there more often. Friendly staff, very good kitchen and it is very cozy and clean. It is always very pleasant and it is almost always full.

Very cozy tent and very friendly staff. Apple pie was good and the cappuccino had a good firm foam layer. What I think is very neat is putting sunscreen on the tables that are in the sun. Much appreciated!!!

Had 12 hours. Perfect! Delicious. Bread egg and croquette to enjoy! We just had a table in a packed restaurant without a reservation. Friendly staff! Top service! We will definitely come back! *minor points...the cup of soup was cut off. Glass for my water was not clean.

Had a lovely lunch here, nice terrace, quick and pleasant service and the dishes were delicious.

Lunch was great! Service a little less. Had to ask for a menu 3 times and a cloth 3 times to clean the table before eating.

Back to the 1950s? Of course! A beautiful collection of KITCH makes this restaurant truly unique. Try a portion of bitterballen, 11 (yes eleven) large balls filled with a delicious meat salpicon, really something to come back for. And then the sandwich du monde, a sandwich with a delicious gryere sauce, something different than usual.

Had lunch with a friend. We were there at 12 o'clock but within half an hour the entire restaurant was full, which was nice! Nice staff who work hard. Farmer's omelet is tasty.

Nice restaurant! Wanted to eat something before we went to the gas holder. Due to a traffic jam later than planned, but thanks to the super fast service, there is even time for a cup of coffee! Great job!

Met ons twee gegeten. Voor het tweede cupje mayo werd € 0,75 in rekening gebracht naast de biefstuk van € 26,50 met slechts 1x frisse rouwkost. (te weinig voor 2 personen). Verkeerde bezuiniging. Serveerster beaamde dit. De vorige keer kreeg ik samen met mijn broer wel elk ons eigen bakje frisse rouwkost. Toen ik er 3 weken eerder alleen heb gegeten en kreeg dezelfde portie friet als toen ik er met 2 personen kwam!? Eten 2 mensen dezelfde portie!? Als je met 2 personen eet zou je minstens een groter schaaltje friet kunnen neerzetten. Kortom er wordt wat curieus omgesprongen met het serveren van de bijgerechten. Het eten is heerlijk!.

Wij hebben onverwachts een hele leuke namiddag gehad met aansluitend een diner. We gingen zitten voor wat drankjes en een kinderijsje, maar de sfeer was zo prettig en vriendelijk, dat we besloten om te blijven zitten voor een diner, wat ook nog eens ontzettend lekker was

Moesten een half uur wachten op onze koffie. Tussendoor nog eens gevraagd maar waarschijnlijk waren ze ons vergeten. Verontschuldiging was waarschijnlijk hun eer te na. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Personeel was gemaakt vriendelijk genoeg maar missen wat aan fatsoen.

Misschien had de bediening een niet al te beste dag. Maar je krijgt er zeer goed te eten en prijs / kwantiteit / kwaliteit was enorm goed

Kan er niet veel over zeggen heb er snel een bakkie koffie gedaan en ben weer verder gegaan Maar het zag er wel leuk uit en dank dat ik zeker nog een keer terug ga om er eens wat meer tijd door te brengen en iets te eten

Moesten lang wachten op de bediening, we waren bijna weer weg gelopen terwijl de bediening wel bij de buurtafel kwam met ook een simpele bestelling ( 2 koffie met gebak) wilden wij ook dus had ook in één keer gekund.

Sehr gute Spare Ribs, toll gewürzt und gute Portionen die einen richtig satt machen.

Lekker eten, mooie omgeving vlotte en vriendelijke bediening

we stapten hier binnen voor een kop koffie, maar het ziet er zo leuk uit dat het toch een late lunch werd. Wel wat aan de prijs, maar dan heb je ook wat! Heerlijke uitsmijter volgens mijn man, en een overheerlijk broodje geitenkaas, ruime porties, leuk opgediend door vrolijke gezichten. Echt een aanrader deze plek!!

Het heeft een echte huiskamer gevoel. Het gaf me "Friends" vibes. Goede muziek tijdens het eten. Geen rare fratsen op de menu kaart, gewoon lekker simpele kost. Porties zijn groot, prijs is goed in verhouding met wat je krijgt.

De menukaart in het restaurant is veel luxer en uitgebreider dan je op de website terug kunt vinden. Echt een aanrader! Vriendelijk personeel, lekker eten, toplocatie en snelle bediening.

Lekker maar het duurt wel een beetje lang

Wij lunchen hier regelmatig. Echt super lekker eten en niet duur. Leuk dat jullie het interieur steeds aanpassen. Er is altijd wat te kijken. Tot gauw!

We wilden graag met 8 personen eten, buiten was plek genoeg. Maar helaas we mochten geen tafels bij elkaar zetten. Ons werd gevraagd binnen een plekje te zoeken. Geen probleem , toch, wij doen niet zo moeilijk. Binnen: 'o, dat is wel lastig, want dan moeten we wat tafels bij elkaar zetten. Jullie kunnen beter buiten gaan zitten'. Tja, we hebben het opgegeven en zijn vertrokken. De keer ervoor, moesten we even wachten op onze tafelgasten, maar drie kwartier niemand bij onze tafel om te vragen of we iets wilden drinken. Ook toen zijn we uiteindelijk maar vertrokken. Het ziet er leuk uit en het eten is lekker, maar de bediening is zeer wisselend qua vriendelijke ontvangst en zorg voor de gast. (En als we uit zijn, mag het ook wat kosten, maar blijkbaar maakt een klant meer of minder niet uit.) En dan zijn er in de buurt ook wel andere restaurants, waar je je wel welkom voelt.
