Grande Italië in Wijk 02 Leersum

The pizzas were delicious. But in terms of hygiene, they could still improve a lot. At least, those who aren't in the kitchen. The delivery person touches every pizza to place them properly in the box. Apparently, they don't have a toilet, because they always go to the ice cream shop. This one wasn't open at the time, so he peed on the side. He didn't wash his hands anywhere and then sat there arranging pizzas properly in the boxes again. Fortunately, not ours; the cook did that himself because the delivery person hadn't returned yet. Response to comment: This wasn't about a visitor. This was about your delivery person, as I already wrote. And the date was not the same as this review I wrote.

Delicious pizzas, come here often.

5 stars for Mario! Tonight 2x Pizza Quattro Formaggio ("without cheese" as Mario says 😉) Pizza the way pizza should taste, the best pizzas in the Heuvelrug come from Leersum at Pizzeria Grande Italy! Greetings Bart and Ellen from Amerongen

Had a delicious meal at Grande Italië! 🍕 The pizzas are truly top-notch: nice and fresh, good ingredients, and a wonderful flavor. You can tell that everything is prepared with care. Plus, Mario is always friendly and fun. Highly recommended if you love good Italian pizza! 🇮🇹❤️

We just moved to Leersum and saw the good reviews, so we ordered pizza and had it delivered. Haven't had such a good pizza in years, unbelievably delicious😋🤩 Not a greasy pizza like we were used to, but authentic, delicious pizza. We will be ordering from here much more often!! Also a very nice delivery person👌 A solid 10💯💪👍👍

What an amazing pizza maker! Truly delicious pizzas and top-notch friendliness!

Had a delicious meal! Ordered 8 dishes at once; everything was wonderfully warm and of high quality.

We are here on vacation for a few days. Bought pizza for the 3rd time in a row :) Super tasty! And luckily not too greasy in the sense that the grease doesn't drip off (often had that at other pizzerias). 1 downside: unfortunately they don't deliver in Houten🤪 Who knows, maybe see you again next year!!!

The pizzas are delicious time after time, and Mario and his son are incredibly friendly!

Delivered lightning fast to Molecaten Ginkelduin, and delicious pizzas and pasta. And a very nice delivery driver too. :) Highly recommended!

Great pizza, and a nice pizza maker too.

Had delicious pizza today. Thought it was a restaurant, but it turned out to be takeaway/delivery. The owner was friendly when we asked if we could just take it with us. "No problem," he neatly cut it into slices and we were able to enjoy it outside. It was super tasty, with a nice thin crust 🩵 Highly recommended.

The tastiest pizzas in the region. Deliciously crispy thin crust.

What a delicious pizza, nice thin crust and super toppings. Service with a smile and delivered neatly.

Delicious pizzas at Grande Italie. The crust is perfect and the ingredients taste fresh. Always a treat, highly recommended!

A real experience and delicious food

Ordered a pizza. They came to deliver it. Way too late. Well over three quarters of an hour past the agreed time. The way it was distributed over the pizza was laughable. A bunch of peppers in a heap. Exactly one whole olive on the pizza. And then about two quarters of an onion just thrown on top. A supermarket pizza is a hundred times better than what I got from here.

We ate until we were stuffed again; I received what was ordered and the base is really super, the rest too of course. No photo, just empty boxes 😁👍

Today, together with two friends, we had delicious pasta at Grande Italië. The portions were good, so we were well satisfied. Additionally, Mario is a very friendly and helpful man, so it is definitely worth repeating!

Funny place, especially a nice guy, and he comes across as friendly.

The best pizzas in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and beyond. Truly a piece of Italy in the Netherlands, combined with great service and a funny chef. You can really taste the difference the fresh ingredients make!

Grande Italië is really a top-notch place, super tasty pizzas, very good service and fast delivery.

Delicious pizza, ready quickly and friendly man!!

Great service, very tasty food, I have been a regular customer for years, and hopefully this can continue for many more years!!!!!

The best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful thin, crispy crust and delicious sausage. This is how I remember Italian pizza.

Good service, friendly staff and delicious food

Delicious, authentic, and great pizzas! You can also sit at tables, but it's more of a takeout location with a fair amount of activity.

Best pizza in Leersum and the surrounding area. Delicious, very authentic. Friendly owner/chef too.

Very good pizza 👍🏼 reasonable quality and prices

I ordered pizza with salami and ham and it was just super delicious, friendly service 👌

Delicious pizzas for a great price. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Mario, keep up the good work!

What a fantastic pizzeria in Leersum! Delicious, large portions, and a friendly owner! 5 stars!

that new bbq pizza was delicious with onions, definitely add it to the pizza

Delicious BBQ chicken pizza with onion! I recommend it to everyone.

Delicious pizzas and delivered quickly. For 24 years he has been making pizzas for us in the kitchen alone. Thank you very much.

Mario provided the meal for our club during the volunteer day. A delicious and varied Italian buffet with various pastas (including vegetarian), lasagna, and salad for 60 people, all at a reasonable price. It included rechauds to keep everything nice and warm. Please pick it up yourself.

We visited this restaurant because of positive reviews. The service was young, and what you might expect is that it's not quite right. And that was the case. An order was forgotten, and it didn't arrive quickly. One person had finished their meal, and the other was waiting. When the canneloni arrived, it was very salty. The calzone was good, though.

Delicious pizzas and a really nice guy; has been baking the best pizzas in Leersum for 24 years.

Mario!... Good job!, Delicious food,

Very cozy, beautiful place, and friendly hosts. And the pizza is delicious.

absolutely best pizza and pizza man in NL..this here, this is PIZZA..we don't eat any other. real Italian craftsmanship!

The pizza here is so delicious!! Mario makes all the pizzas with love by himself. I can imagine that there are people from all over who want to come and eat here. This pizza is special because it does not drip with fat and after eating you feel full, and not disgusted by the food. I have never experienced this with pizza! They deliver for free within a certain km radius, and otherwise for a small fee outside of that. Pick-up is also always possible! Delicious, we eat pizza from Mario at Grand Italië at least once a week!

This chef knows his trade! The most delicious pizzas and pasta we have eaten in a long time! Very tasty ingredients, crispy thin pizza base. Highly recommended!!

After a very successful King's Day, we ate delicious pizzas from Mario with all the volunteers. The pizzas were gone in no time!!

They are the tastiest pizzas I have ever eaten. We come here often and it remains delicious. The entrepreneur is also very friendly. Highly recommended!

Friendly owner and delicious pizza.

Pizza and pasta were fantastic again. We always visit you when we are on holiday here. In fact, we go to Leersum on holiday especially so we can get food from you.

The best pizzas in the area! Friendly and polite staff with a sense of humor. Fast service for delivery and collection. You can also go here for pasta, lasagna, etc. Highly recommended!!

Pizza with Carpaccio and Arugula. And the spaghetti Bolgnese were delicious. And delivered hot. Thanks for good service.

Welcome back Mario! The 4 kapsalons were very tasty and the 2 pizza shawarma were very tasty and the meat was tender! We missed you a lot when you were gone Mario, best of Leersum and surroundings!🍕❤️

We ordered the pizza "Milano". A really delicious authentic pizza. Highly recommended.

The best pizza in the region here! Real Italian craftsmanship, good ingredients and delicious taste. 100% authentic. No more pizza for me.

Delicious pizza but happy to deliver to rascal camp

This nice guy is a true pioneer in the profession! Quality assured for Leersum and the region for 23 years. We as anti-squatters from the Overberg rascal camp have been able to pick up our pizzas there with great pleasure and mouth-watering for 6.5 years. (7 days a week) The pizzas are often free and you only pay +/- €30 for the drinks 😁 Mario.. keep it up!!! But also take some rest in time, dude.👌 Greetings from Leon and the rascal campers here💯

This man can cook! The pizza dough is always tasty, not too salty and the ingredients are always fresh and of high quality. In addition, Mario is a very sweet and funny man and he employs friendly staff, which is not entirely unimportant.

The pizza Margerita is super super tasty. This reminds us of an Italian in America Papa Johns. Delicious thin base, with the ingredients exactly in proportion. Extremely tasty! Recommended!

Delicious pizzas and fantastic service! Ordered from Mario for the first time yesterday, but that was certainly not the last time.

Recently ordered a pizza here for the first time. The calzone was good and affordable and the pizza chef has a sense of humor and likes a nice chat :) see you next time!

The best pizza in the entire region Very friendly welcome👍👍

Delicious pizzas and the kids loved helping 🍕🥰

Mario has the best pizzas! I especially like the staff and the atmosphere in the tent is very nice, the pizzas and pastas are also delicious! I come here more often!

Pizza and pasta from the master himself, every time. Thank you Mario.

The best pizzas in the Netherlands!

Order 6 pizzas for a dinner at home. It was really a tasting, all pizzas were freshly prepared and delicious! You are the best!!!!

You will find the tastiest pizzas here at grande Italy. The service was excellent and always a pleasant chat with Mario. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant. I can definitely recommend this pizzeria to anyone who wants to eat the tastiest pizzas. Definitely recommended, a big 10 from me.

We ate the tastiest pizza at the nicest and best pizza baker in the Netherlands. Thank you for the time you took to explain, it was very nice that we were allowed to take a look behind the scenes. We will show the video at school. Soon all the children from Leersum will be eating pizza at Grande Italy!

If you are on holiday at Ginkelduin, this is a must. Just got two hair salon döner, super tasty and nice staff.

Best pizza and pasta in the area

Tastes good, tastes fresh. Owner is friendly.

The tastiest pizzas I have ever eaten in the Netherlands, very similar to Italian pizzas, nice thin base and even the base tastes good... keep it up guys!

Picked up 2 pizzas again tonight. Quality excellent as always. Absolutely the best pizzeria in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug👍🍕.

Best pizzaria in the province of Utrecht, have been coming there for years, will never want to go anywhere else. Pizzas are always fresh and customer friendliness is of paramount importance at this pizzaria.

You have to come here for the tastiest pizzas! Super friendly owner!
