We had our Christmas dinner here, 3 course mixed grilled, amazing and lots of food. Can recommend 10/10 , also owner and staff offered great services 🙏 best Greek in Gouda

It took ages for our order to be taken. The plates and bowls were broken and sharp. We did get a lot of meat, though. The children's corner was extremely dangerous with power strips and bulky cables.

We reserved for Christmas day and was surprised a bit to some of the reviews. Service was Okay. Staff is friendly but forgot about us a few times. The food itself was good however the gyros a bit salty. Inside the have a little play corner, but having electric wires stashed in there makes it a bit challenging to leave your child there unattended. Parking was a bit difficult if you do not know your way around town. All in all it was a good visit.

We ate here on Christmas Day through a social deal. We had a 3-course a la carte meal. We had to wait quite a while for service, which was understandable due to the crowds. It was also very noisy. Despite this, the staff was very friendly and provided information about the drinks. The main course wasn't what some of us expected and tasted rather poor. This was immediately remedied with something else. We were able to replace dessert with an Irish coffee or something similar. Although the food wasn't quite as good, it was a pleasant evening. The starter took quite a while.

Friendly people, very cozy, good and tasty food.

Hopeless... I ordered 4 meals for home delivery. After being 15 minutes late, we called the restaurant. They said it would be there within a few minutes, which was great. After half an hour, I called again. Oh, sorry, the order never came through... It's nice when someone just speaks on the phone without looking. Just leave the order alone... It was the first and last time.

I was here once with my foster family, and it was very pleasant. I think it's a nice restaurant. It has a lovely interior and a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and not expensive at all. If you're looking for a nice Greek restaurant, I definitely recommend this one!

The food wasn't as good this time. I didn't do anything about the complaint.

We ordered four mixed grills at the agreed-upon time of 6:00 PM. We called twice, and it wasn't delivered until 6:30 PM. The food was lukewarm, the meat was dry, and the salad that came with it was far from fresh. It's not like buying bread at the local supermarket. The total cost was around €100. This was definitely the last time for us...

I had to wait over an hour for my first course. No more Rhodes for me.

Didn't eat at the restaurant, but ordered. The Rhodos gyros isn't what it used to be: large chunks of gyros without the crispy grilled edges that make them so delicious. Now, it's very fatty and hard. The Hermes dish was okay, but not up to par, which is a real shame. It might have been the last time. The 1+1 deal wouldn't be necessary with the "old" concept.

Not a particularly good meal, ordered through Thuiszorgd (home delivery service), gyros Rhodos, far too large pieces of meat, not a bit crispy, cooked through, but nothing like it used to be. A real shame, last time for me...

On Thursday, I bought an all-you-can-eat deal through Social Deal. Upon arrival, there was a pleasant, calm atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and patient. The food was delicious; we ate almost two plates of meat, so we were quite full. *Good service *Good food *Good deal They pleasantly surprised us and are definitely recommended on a weekday!

This restaurant is located on a side street off the market square. We made a reservation through our social deal. A three-course meal for €18.50, with a beer and wine included, was excellent. The menu offers a choice of fish or meat dishes. Friendly service. You do need to have time, though. The restaurant is due for a facelift. Good value for money.

Charges more than €10 for tap water without saying. Noisy because of drunk/racst people.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in over four years of living in the Netherlands. One older waitress behaved in a very rude and discriminatory way toward us as Asian customers. During our meal, she repeatedly insisted that we had to order a drink with our Social Deal offer. We calmly showed her that the deal’s conditions did not mention any such requirement — neither in English nor in Dutch. However, she kept insisting, saying things like, “This is the Netherlands, you have to order a drink!” She even told us to check a “Chinese version” of the app, which doesn’t exist. I’ve always had great experiences with Dutch people and restaurants, but this was a shocking exception. The behavior was unacceptable and felt racist. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant until they address their staff’s attitude and ensure all guests are treated with respect.

We had a wonderful meal here. Very friendly service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're looking for Greek food in Gouda.

All the meat was very dry. It took a long time for the order to arrive. It took 25 minutes for the second order to arrive. They didn't ask if you wanted another drink. Not recommended. First time here and the last time too.

Understaffed for a packed restaurant. It took at least 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The meat was very salty and tasteless.

We had a quick bite to eat before going to the theater. Personally, I found the atmosphere rather lacking. I also had to ask for drinks. A shame. The food itself was fine.

I ordered through Thuiszorgd but never received my order. I called the restaurant hundreds of times but no one answered, incredibly unsociable. The food didn't arrive until 2.5 hours later.

We came for dinner on a Monday; it was a bit quiet, but that didn't detract from the quality of the food and service. The waitress was very polite and friendly. The owner was nice. And, most importantly, the food was super fresh. For dessert, we had fresh fruit with ice cream and whipped cream. Real fresh fruit, not canned. All in all, a fantastic experience and definitely worth repeating!

Ordered through Thuisbezorgd. Delivered on time and in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We didn't eat any of the appetizers. The gyros were okay.

If you visit this restaurant through the Social Deal website, it's important to know that it's completely different from other all-you-can-eat restaurants. It feels like you're being disrespected, especially after the first round. After that, you're completely disrespected. There's no steak available, even though it's shown on the Social Deal website. It's completely unfair. The salad isn't refilled, and you don't get any sauce at all. With every dish you order, the waiter says, "I need to check." This has absolutely nothing to do with an all-you-can-eat concept, and it just makes you feel uncomfortable. NEVER BACK!

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional either. A new waitress was on duty, so the service was a bit stiff. The waitress couldn't fault it. The decor was typical Greek restaurant, but from the 80s. A bit lacking in atmosphere. A big plus is that they're open on Mondays, which isn't common in Gouda.

I made an online order at 5 pm, it is 18.40 pm and still no order. I called multiple times , no answer. Thuisbezorgd also doesn't help. Very bad.

Ordered food, and it arrived cold almost two hours later. No one answered the phone when I called. It's a waste of money; I'll never order from here again. It used to be good, but it's a shame they've gone downhill so much.

I don't know what happened here. I haven't been here for three years. The food was great here, with exceptionally generous portions for a reasonable price. Went again yesterday. The lighting is uninviting, and the benches are gone, making it look less inviting. The portions are only a third of what they used to be.

Enjoyed a slightly different Greek meal.

Nice Greek restaurant. We had all-you-can-eat. The first plate was delicious, juicy, and came with a tasty sauce. The second and third plates were mediocre, dry, and lacking in sauce. We had to ask for it several times (fries sauce, ketchup). But definitely recommended for meat lovers.

I only had two appetizers: a trio of tapenades, including tzatziki with pita and keftedes. A frappé for dessert. It was pleasantly busy, but the interior was a bit dated. It was delicious, but I had just returned from Crete, where the food is very fresh and high-quality. The food was okay, but not worthy of 5 stars.

We were spoiled by the owner with a generous and varied dinner. We were there with our basketball team.

Through social deal 2.5 hours unlimited food, reception was good and cozy, after we got the first dish the attention was immediately gone. If we wanted to order something we had to ask ourselves and find someone. Food was reasonable, but for us not worth repeating. When paying, the drinks and dessert were just as expensive as the social deal.

Food could have been a bit warmer, otherwise everything was ok

It was very unpleasant to see dogs in a restaurant You can't take a dog into a restaurant, let alone get them to drink from a beer glass.

I went with my partner with a deal for €17 each for 3 course meal but it was honestly not worth the money. The food was mediocre, and for the actual price of the meal (originally €34) its absolutely not worth it!! We were also up charged for water, even though we asked for tap water and they didn’t mention we would need to pay for it. They charged €13.40 for one litre of water! The service was slow and the waitstaff were rude. Our waiter responded condescendingly when we asked about the price of the water and another waitress forgot to bring our order and we had to ask again to another person.

After 2.5 hours I still haven't received my order

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, nice service, good food, normal waiting time. As for Greek, of course you can drink ouzo.

Ordered a gyros dish. What poor quality. Hard pieces of meat. Cold weak fries. Ordered a tuna salad. Costs 7 euros. What a small container. A little lettuce with something on it.

We had made a reservation in advance, at 6:30 PM. Was also confirmed by the restaurant. But when we arrived earlier than expected, we were told that we had to be gone by 7:30 PM. Dismayed by the rude reception, we sat down. We ordered our food, but when I said I wanted my steak medium, I got a strange look: huh? Within 10 minutes the food was on the table, but not prepared with care. The steak was not what I was used to and the gyros (which was not on the menu, but was included to fill the plate) was just really not tasty. Tastes differ, but this was not gyros. We did not feel welcome and were not treated as such. We were gone within the hour, as we were told earlier. Sorry. But really not recommended.

Overall an ok experience for the price. The staff was very friendly and the place was extremely busy but they were relatively fast! As far as the quality of the food is concerned, well, not the best. We had a mixed grill plateau and there were a lot of things that were tasteless apart from the gyros and the bifteki. The sides were not so nice and you didn’t have a lot of options. It’s imbue overall not an authentic Greek experience, the only authentic Greek thing was the way people served the customers. Again very polite staff working there though!

Appetizer, tasting, was delicious! Main course, bekri meze, was a bit bland and lacked a carrier, orzo or rice. The owner said that you could order the spicy variant, but it was not on the menu, as he said. Otherwise fine! It was very annoying that there was an older man at the bar who was ordering a member of staff. Young lad who had just started, I understood. Very annoying for that boy, but also if you eat there as a guest, really irritating!

Great place. Had a delicious mixed grill. You can order some more for free later. Friendly staff.

Had an unlimited mixed grill via Socialdeal on a weekday. The welcome was friendly as was the service. Food was fine, but a bit on the salty side. Atmosphere is like so many of these Greek establishments. The disadvantage was the children running around, screaming, past your table. So if you want to eat something romantic or in peace, do not choose this restaurant. Parking lot 5 minutes walk from the restaurant.

It is a very cozy place, the food is good and plentiful. The people who work there are all very nice! Definitely recommended!!!

Very nice waitress who explained the children's ouzo. I liked it so much! The food was plentiful and delicious. And really for a reasonable price! Unfortunately, there really wasn't any dessert to go with it... Plenty of salad and fries and I asked for a carafe of water and thought I would have to pay a lot for it, but that was not the case at all! We arrived on Thursday at just after 5 p.m., there was still plenty of room and reservations were not necessary. Didn't have to wait long for the food. We will definitely come back!

It was super fun, but good company is half the work. Most of the meat was really okay on the first plate, but we could not identify the steak.... but we also had a lot of fat on the meat on the second plate and that is a shame. Then there was an incident because we were obliged to order a children's menu for two of the three children, even though we had neatly indicated that they only wanted to eat fries. Suddenly it was a rule that a children's menu was mandatory from the age of six... but this is not stated anywhere, so next time we will also give the lawyer a seat. Since we wanted to have a nice evening, we ordered two menus...but in the end they were not available. So minus points

The food was delicious, especially the grilled meat was very tender. Very friendly and attentive staff. The real Greek coffee was disappointing. But definitely worth going once!

The food was normally pretty standard Greek. Both the draft beer and the ouzo seemed to be diluted with water..👎🏻😡 However, the young ladies in the service walked around aimlessly, unfocused/not focused. You really shouldn't have the cappuccino here, it's downright disgusting!

Not all the meat was equally tasty. 2nd batch of steak was tough and pork satay was also tough. Fries a little too soft. Appetizer Rhodes and Warm tapas were tasty. Ice cream with eggnog is tasty, but also pricey.

Except for the decoration in the restaurant, there is nothing Greek about it in terms of flavors. The Ouzo was also just water with an anise flavor. The young waitress asked if everything was OK when we still had nothing on the table, a bit strange. The concept (all you can eat) is far from described, salad bar was broken and instead you got a crappy bowl of coleslaw. The children's menu would be served at the same time as the garlic bread. This bread contained no garlic and was just fried hard in oil. The children's menu only came when we had finished our first cold round, after asking twice. Our son ate the small bowl of fries from our mixed grill. Our meat was cold even though it was on a warming plate with 2 tea lights. When they went out after the first round and the waitress came with the next cold plate and put it on it, I indicated that they were gone. She said she was going to get a lighter. Indicated again that they were gone. So she didn't get them either. We indicated to her that this was not what we expected, after all the rave reviews. Made another attempt to eat the second cold plate, but ended up leaving it because it really wasn't tasty. No taste, dry and nothing Greek about it. Advertising steak and then serving such a dry, thin piece...shameless! Other than something that looked like gyros, I couldn't identify the rest of the meat as a reasonable connoisseur. The dishes described that they would serve were also not all included. The plates are served as if they were for 1 person. (I still understand if it's AYCE, but still, it looked sad). The chicken nuggets from the children's menu tasted strange and almost sweet, he never leaves this but now he does. The staff rushed by without paying attention to the guests. My husband looked in the kitchen and pulled green away several times, they grabbed meat with their hands, this is really not possible! We were very annoyed by the staff, the bad food and the terrible noise. We could hear other tables better than each other. When I paid early, an older man went to where I had to pay, suddenly acted very friendly and rubbed my shoulder. Better make sure you manage the kitchen! But he didn't ask if everything was okay. The toilets were also very dirty! In retrospect, we should never have made this trip to another Greek. We remain loyal to Poseidon in Zoetermeer who does serve Greek food, with passion! Maybe there is another chef in the kitchen recently who has lost his passion somewhere? I still don't understand why it was such a downer. Normally we are not bargain hunters, but when you read good reviews, you don't expect it to be bizarrely bad! A day later, all 3 of us also had stomach cramps and diarrhea, thank you. If you are not interested in Greek cuisine, customers or your own quality, you will get my findings here.

In the all-you-can-eat system, I missed a good salad. There was only cabbage salad. Stuffy and little space. The food was pretty good.

Ordered online via home delivery. Upon delivery we discovered that 1 mixed grill was not delivered enough. Immediately called the restaurant. The dish would be delivered afterwards. 2 hours later still nothing received and never had any money back. Had the same experience years ago. I won't order from here again.

Friendly, fast service, large portions, relatively low prices in combination with free extras (welcome drink, appetizer, tsaziki). Beautiful Mousaka, but the meat is a bit overcooked, sometimes too hard/dry - something could really be improved there. All in all a great restaurant.

Ordered via home delivery. Pita was missing from giros dish. Immediately called the restaurant. Mrs. indicated that they would come and fix it right away. After 45 minutes I received nothing and heard nothing more. Very bad service! Will order elsewhere next time.

The food at a Greek restaurant is always good... I thought. But here the main course tasted like reheated microwave food. The steak that came with it had nothing to do with steak. The service was very good! Starter was also fine.

Too bad, been there often, but now very bad. Raw meat, rice was no longer good. Reported this, had extra meat, this was better. During checkout we were told that the drinks would be free because of our complaints. When we got home it turned out that it had been paid for. Bad service! Janos did not show himself. Too bad, expect more from a host. We don't come here anymore.

Compliments to the chef, the food was delicious and at the right temperature, compliments to the service of course. Location was also beautiful both where it is located and the interior. Parking is not an easy task, but the restaurant cannot do anything about that However, they may want to look for a better dishwasher or better plate washer. After we asked for clean plates, we fortunately received clean plates in return

Outrageous experience, we were a big group of around 25 ppl. we waited over 2 hours for our main course and they had absolutely no clue what we ordered. several times we had to correct them. and if that wasn't enough we asked them to package our leftovers and at some point the staff said that the kitchen has thrown out the food. Never again will we go there!
