Literally the nicest grillroom owner in Groningen. Even got a free fresh fruit drink.

That frying oil makes me quite nauseous; I literally tasted burnt frying oil. The owner denies it, I ask, "Can I see the oil?" Sure, he goes through it with his little frying pan, and I see a black sludge in the oil. So, never again.

Delicious food, fantastic service, and very nice employees. Definitely recommended in Groningen!

Spontaneously stopped by for the first time on Wednesday night for a döner kebab. Subsequently had a lovely evening with the owner and got to try Arabic food and drinks. Absolutely delicious and excellent prices, 100% worth repeating, 10/10 highly recommended!

I stop by a few times on my way home from work in the evenings after 10 p.m. The owner has always been incredibly kind from the first time I went. He lets me into the dining room, and in the "Arab parlor," I sit down and order my dinner. Sometimes I tell him to "make something yourself," because he never has the whole menu available, especially at the time I go. With the "make everything yourself" option, I'm never disappointed. He always lets me try something delicious and plentiful, always asks how I'm doing, and is always polite and extremely kind. What can I say? He treats me like a king. The only downside is that the place is a bit chilly, and when you eat, you feel a bit chilly. I recommend it and will continue to go there every now and then.

25 euros for a large kapsalon takeaway, really scandalous! And doesn't taste like a kapsalon. But a (much too) friendly man. Until you are shocked by the amount..

Paid way too much and got food I never asked for. Owner is nice but screws you with the amounts.

I went out to eat there yesterday and I don't think it's normal that I have to pay 90 euros. It's the case every time I go there that I have to pay so much for so little food. I'll never go there again for 2 people.

Very good host, who prepares meals with love. Food is delicious however the establishment seemed a bit shady as in there was no customer apart from me at peak dinner time even on weekday also no bill is given and prefers cash. However the interiors are well maintained and clean. Service is slow as he is the only guy running the shop. Very kind guy but english is bit weak However he tries his best to understand you and communicate. But the food is lekker!

Faith in humanity restored: When I entered the restaurant (for the first time ever) I was greeted very friendly by the owner. He asked my name and opened the door for me and gave me a place to wait. Within a minute he was there again to take my order. But before he did he gave me a small sample from the kitchen to taste, and it was delicious. With a bit of shame I had to admit that I didn’t had the financial capability to have a big meal and I only came for the cheapest meal to go. The owner had so much empathy for the situation and told me to not worry about it. I could pay as much as I want, and he trusted me to come back later when I was capable. I had never entered the restaurant, i had never met the owner, and still he gave me empathy in a difficult situation and had trust in someone he never met. With a smile on my face and extra warmth in my hearth I am enjoying a lovely meal. Thank you so much! And until next week.

Vanavond 3 schotels besteld. Kreeg gelijk wat te drinken omdat ik nog even moest wachten super lief! Schotels erg lekker, en veel en een grote salade erbij alles super netjes verpakt. Ga hier zeker vaker weer wat ophalen!

Zeer gastvrij onthaald en een lekker broodje gegeten.

Topservice en lekker eten! Je wordt heel vriendelijk onthaald door de eigenaar die al heel snel je naam kent en onthoudt, zelfs na vele maanden afwezigheid. Erg lekker en zeker ook voldoende eten voor een prima prijs. Tijdens het wachten bij het afhalen krijg je altijd wat te drinken zonder bijkomende kosten en de eigenaar stelt ook wel eens wat voor buiten de kaart en soms zelfs van het huis.

Hele ervaring komt binnen denkt snackbar achtige plek ik bestel wat. nee nee kom maar zitten wat wil je eten. Was allemaal zeer komisch, maar eten was prima kreeg een salade en fiet met stoofvlees alles was goed van smaak grote porties. En ja je betaald dan wel 17 euro voor patat met stoofvlees maargoed tis dan ook een beetje voor de beleving er om heen

Het is een ware ervaring om bij Mohammed te eten. Bij binnenkomst krijg je een uitgebreid welkom en hij leert zelfs je naam. Mohammed is echt ontzettend gastvrij maar daarnaast werkt hij ook extreem hard, want hij runt de hele zaak alleen! Het eten was ook heel lekker en daarnaast is het heel goedkoop, maar hij verdient zeker een fooi!
