Groenen Cafetaria-Pizzeria in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd.nl. The order never arrived, and when I called Groenen, the restaurant said they hadn’t received it and suggested that I ordered with wrong restaurant. So I wrote locally a negative review. They called me multiple times to change the review and even managed to have the review temporary removed, but that has been reverted. Overall, an extremely disappointing service. They simply should have admitted the wrong and fixed, instead they chose for demeaning and intrusive methods.

The people here are wonderful, and the service is always excellent. They make the most delicious pizzas—fresh and full of flavor. Every time, I receive a warm welcome and feel truly welcome. It's become a regular weekend ritual to come here and enjoy their fantastic pizzas.

Ordered about 15 pizzas at Waalstrandje. Delivered perfectly as promised. Everything was hot and even included some extras. The food was all good. So thanks for your service and see you soon.

I wouldn't go here for the fries. I didn't order them, but you could tell from a distance that they were incredibly glassy and not very good quality. The pizzas, on the other hand, were truly excellent and super tasty. Now, they say, "shoemaker, stick to your last," so everyone knows when you go to a place like that, you're eating durum or pizza, right? For fries, you have to go to Belgium. A great place for a quick bite!

The fries were fried in such old fat that I had to have my palate peeled by a blacksmith who normally cleans horses' horseshoes.

Efficient and friendly, great food!

Ordered food for delivery, asked if they could come through the gate and didn't want to ring the bell, which they eventually did. The delivery person also arrived late and the food was anything but tasty. 8.5 euros for a small hair salon with not even real döner meat is scandalous and ridiculous. The pizza was also not cut, which is quite strange for a delivery meal.

Just ordered. A sandwich and a laughing macun. T sandwich costs 7.50 and had maybe 4 pieces of cucumber and 2 pieces of meat on it. You just had to open the sandwich to see if there was anything on it. There was nothing else on the sandwich. The Lachmacun 9.50 with cheese was tasty, but here too there were perhaps 3 strands of doner on it. Bizarre prices when you see what you get for it.

I don't often write a review but now I couldn't resist. We waited 2.5 hours for our food and it was just thrown at the door. In addition, the pizza was wrong (delivered differently than ordered) and the hair salon was cold. Really can't recommend this to anyone

Yesterday 17-7-2023 1 fries without and 1 bami disc € 3.50 for fries without and € 3.50 for bami disc!!!

Appearance was very mediocre! Food wasn't really great either. I had a large fries. Half of the container was filled with small, very crispy pieces of fries. I also took a small fries for someone else. And a hogweed. And a croquette sandwich without sauce. Cost with 17 euros. I personally thought it was way too expensive at this tacky chip shop.

After the theater I ate a roll of my buddy's sandwich. Friendly people and well stocked.

I recommend it very strongly. Great service! Nice men always talk. First class food! I recommend pizza or durum :)

The other day I wasn't home yet when they made the delivery. I was called promptly and the delivery person returned within 5 minutes. Despite the freezing cold, my pizza was still warm, great! In addition, always nice delivery people 💪🏽 thanks.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the portions were OK.

Had to wait more than an hour... but understandable on a Saturday evening and the time. Moreover, our wishes/comments were listened to. The food was also hot and of top quality.

Top. My girlfriend got coffee there because it was quite cold and raining. They didn't sell. But it was arranged. Busy with deliveries. Interior is a bit dated. But the fries were... super tasty... and I don't even like fries.

A company that makes promises and fails to keep them time and time again. This cannot be relied on. After a critical phone call to point this out to them after 1.5 hours, the order is canceled. It's a pity that they cannot provide a realistic picture here and when something is said about it, they act as if nothing can be done about it. While the gentleman on the phone indicated that this happens every week. Then that seems like a matter of good business management. Save yourself the time and don't order here!

Had ordered a hair salon. Anyway. This is shown generously filled with a salad mix. In reality you get dry iceberg lettuce and 3 pieces of cucumber. In addition, the hair salon is unsolicitedly showered with nasty chili sauce and another strange sauce that resembles garlic sauce. Price was not commensurate with what you get.

Tried everything over the years but only one ends up on top and that is green every time. Good pizzas, always delivered quickly and the delivery people are always nice people. recommended!

Good fast food on the corner :) The decor is average and typical for this type of place. Several seats inside and outside. Nevertheless, the food was good. Very tasty thin-crust pizza and quite low prices for the city center. Large selection of dishes on the menu.

On Mondays all pizzas are only 5 euros and are really richly topped. And the pizzas are very tasty. Vegetarian pizza is highly recommended!
