I had a delicious meal here, super friendly staff, atmospheric restaurant, definitely worth a visit.

We had the onion and mushroom soup and the sugar belly. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommended!

We were/are very pleased with this restaurant. When it first opened, we went several times; the service was top-notch, everything was perfect. The service and atmosphere are still good (to this day). The food is fresh, delicious, and of good quality. Unfortunately, you can now tell they're "penny-pinching." Let me explain: When the restaurant first opened, we had brunch here several times, it was truly delicious, and always for that delicious hamburger and fries. Recently, we thought, "Let's go there again!" So, we went for the hamburger and fries again... unfortunately, we discovered it was no longer made in-house and they'd gone for a generic frozen burger with the typical spices you taste in all generic burgers. The freshness is gone. I really hope this restaurant doesn't prioritize quality over profit; that's always the beginning of the end. Has there been a change of management? First there was that nice man who always enthusiastically showed us the wine, but now he's gone. I hope things work out. My brother and I went out to dinner at my sister's, but honestly, I should have eaten at my dad's. The staff did their very best. Unfortunately, the dishes were unimaginative and pre-made without love. There was a bit of plastic in my food, but they enthusiastically passed that mistake on to "the supplier." As customers, we don't buy much for that, of course. We didn't think the price/quality ratio was great. We'd rather eat at my mother's next time.

We ate here for the first time last Saturday. There were three of us and we ordered chicken and peanuts. It was delicious, but why do we only get one small, shoddy little bowl of fries and one with salad for three people? We barely dared to take five fries, otherwise the bowl would be empty. Shouldn't we each get our own small bowl of fries and salad for €27 per person? At €125, I thought this was an expensive meal. The staff were very friendly, though. And why is there only one toilet that you have to climb two flights of stairs? Quite a challenge for elderly people. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Great food. Shared dining, or tapas. The upstairs room echoes with a large group. The decor was nice. Because the tables were so full, the dishes stayed where they were placed. As a result, not everyone got enough to eat.

We went to my sister's for the burger with sugar bread (the original, which has been around for five years). It finished third in the Benelux in 2020, and for good reason. The flavor combination is incredible; all the flavors are distinct and yet blend seamlessly. Every high-quality ingredient is clearly discernible in every bite. The quality of the ingredients and the care with which the products are selected are admirable. All the Frisian regional products featured in the burger and even on the plate speak volumes about this restaurant. The pleasant atmosphere, the friendly, welcoming staff, and the high-quality food. Highly recommended for lunch and dinner. We will definitely be back. Because this burger, among other things, is unmatched.

We had a delicious high tea, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quite quiet for a Sunday afternoon, so I highly recommend it for a high.

The staff is very friendly and the food was served quickly. They have a tasty and unique selection on the menu. Unfortunately we didn't get to dessert (we were already full). A warm welcome from the first minute, cheerful and passionate about his business. Great meat, warm, passionate service that knows their products. A gem that we discovered by chance, with the “photo service at the table” to top it all off. We will definitely come back.

Friendly service by young attentive staff. Lunch, bread croquette, bouncer and soup, remains difficult with 3 different hot dishes, so keep eating. A downside are the prices of the soft drinks, €3.70 for a small bottle of Rivella for example. Tip: the red paving just in front of the building, in the shade, is still quite slippery even at 12 noon in frost.

We had a concert in Iduna and wanted to eat somewhere. We are pleasantly surprised because it was delicious, beautiful meat, perfectly prepared. Even if we don't have a concert, we will go back again!

Fueled by the positive reviews, I went to eat here. Unfortunately not a great one. Shrimp in advance; tough and old, really not good. This was reported; and only received an apology from the cook (I saw him shrug his shoulders). Beautiful open kitchen; It is special to see that the staff is not busy at all and stands with their arms folded rather than preparing something. Presumably everything is already ready in the part that is not visible. This also explains the quality of the shrimp. Spare ribs were ok, but nothing special. The taste was a bit dull and both sauces were almost identical in color and taste. Service is excellent, especially considering the age of the kids. They are doing their best.

This catering gem is a bit hidden in Drachten, in the Oosterstraat (Where is that? Exactly, that's what I mean). From the moment you enter, you feel welcome. The owner is to blame for this, who, as it turns out, links his passion for hosting to knowledge of beer, wine and dishes and mixes this with a nice sense of humor. The interior feels cozy, a bit "warm-industrial". You can order from the menu (which is changed every few months), but afterwards you can also choose from a tray full of quality meat. This varies from salmon to rib-eye. The chef, who you can see at work from your seat, knows his trade like no other. We have been there a number of times now and the quality of the food remains consistently excellent. The wine selection also changes from time to time, but is always good. Also try lunch here, if you want something other than a bouncer. This establishment is definitely recommended!

Leuke plek. Lekkere wijntjes en mooie borrelplank. Er lagen twee soorten worst plakjes op de plank waarvan één echt niet lekker was. Gevraagd wat dit voor worst was en dat het echt niet lekker was. De gastheer /ober wist niet te vertellen wat voor soort het was. Vroeg het ook niet aan de kok. En liep toen door. Wij hadden het vriendelijker gevonden als hij een alternatief had aangeboden ivm klantenbinding. Vetder alles oké.

Had a very nice lunch today at Het Zusje. We had Noor's battle, and vegetarian croquettes on thick bread. The portions were of large size, and it was indeed a struggle to finish them. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful chairs that are comfortable to sit in. The atmosphere is good. The food is more than excellent! Vegetarian choice is very limited. Black pasta is not vegetarian and you cannot milk a squid. That's what the waitress claimed when I indicated that black pasta is not vegetarian.

Luxe high tea voor €31,50 pp Nog nooit zo’n slechte high tea gehad. Sandwiches met wat roomkaas, broodje met rauwe ham in vieren gesneden en wat sneetjes brood met een smeerseltje. Wat korstdeeg hapjes en daarna wat zoetigheid.

Everything neat. They show you the meat in advance and explain it 👌👍great job. The only thing I think is a shame is that they show a beautiful pork schnitzel, which is fried in the deep fryer, and this is a waste of this type of meat. Very unfortunate, the meat would have been tastier if it had been fried normally. Won't recommend schnitzel to anyone again

on Thursday we had dinner with the 4 of us at my sister's. nice spacious table by the window, good service by the young lady and master of the house. very satisfied with the dishes. Definitely recommended and 5 stars from us :-)

Nice place to go for lunch. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff member who served us was friendly and attentive. I had the salmon carpaccio which unfortunately had a lot of grates in it but tasted good otherwise.

Gezelligste restaurant van Drachten. Gastheer Jolke heeft zijn eigen manier om gasten te entertainen en dat valt in zeer goede aarde. Heerlijke gerechten met goede wijn in een prima atmosfeer.

Wat een heerlijk gezellig en gast vrij restaurant. Bediening is zeer vakkundig en is erg vriendelijk dikke 5 sterren. Keuken is ook top eten wat echt heerlijk dus ook 5 sterren. Mochten we nog eens in de buurt zijn gaan we hier zeker terug.

Koffie borrelen, eten, high wine, high beer... Het kan allemaal. Geweldige sfeer, persoonlijke bediening, gastvrij. Het mag duidelijk zijn, dit is een TOP-tent!!

Top zaak! Erg goed en ook bijzonder eten, voor zowel lunch als diner. Één van mijn favoriete plekken in drachten.

Vandaag wouden wij spontaan ergens lunchen, dus besloten wij om bij M'n Zusje binnen te lopen. Ze hadden nog plek voor ons ookal hadden wij niet gereserveerd. Wij werden erg vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen en kregen al snel ons drinken wat wij hadden besteld. Binnen 15 minuten stond ons eten op tafel wat echt heerlijk was. Ik had de biefstuk met huisgemaakte patat en de biefstuk was echt perfect medium, de jus van zwarte knoflook vond ik ook heerlijk. Mijn partner had een 12 uurtje met op 1 stuk brood een uitsmijter, het andere stuk brood met een kroket en een kommetje tomatensoep wat hij ook erg lekker vond allemaal. Erg geslaagd, netjes, en verzorgd, ik ben alleen vergeten om een foto te maken.

Wát een leuke tent was dit zeg! Heel vriendelijk personeel, super lekker eten en een top locatie. In het centrum, maar wel op een rustige hoek. Ik zou hier zeker weer naartoe gaan als ik in de buurt ben!

Het was opnieuw een TOP avond met verrukkelijk eten! Op en top genieten. Wij gaan zeker weer. Het enige wat we gemist hebben, is warme groente. Wellicht een overweging waard.

Echte aanrader, unieke manier van serveren

Een gezellig ingericht restaurant. De eigenaar was een vrolijke man met een open karakter. De bediening was aardig en behulpzaam. We kregen een amuse (rozetje geitenkaas met stukje aardbei) vooraf. We hoefden niet lang te wachten op het voorgerecht (lauwe aspergesoep, uit een pakje?). De kipfilet (volgens mij en de menukaart op de site had dit kippendij moeten zijn) in het gerecht Pittig Zusje was zeker niet mals. In het sausje trof ik een klont aan van de niet goed doorgeroerde kerriesaus (uit een zakje?), de groente bestond uit 1 klein kommetje salade voor 2 personen, maar werd bij onze vraag om nog meer royaal aangevuld met voor elk nog een kommetje. Patatjes en aardappelbolletjes erbij en mayonaise en kerriesaus. De rode wijn (Cabernet) smaakte heerlijk. Toetje: bûkemantsje. Het ijs (kaneel en beerenburg) met 2 (wat te droge) plakjes suikerbrood was erg lekker. De cappuccino was prima. Men stond wel open voor onze feedback op de lauwe soep, maar de kipfilet stond toch echt genoemd op de menukaart. Waarschijnlijk hadden we een nieuwe druk..

Vlees en vis opties werden van te voren vacuüm getoond. Vlees heerlijk gegrild en erg mals. Heerlijke salade met ei. Krieltjes in de schil waren ouderwets lekker. En een heerlijke ruime bak koffie als nagerecht. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Onverwachts terecht gekomen maar wat een gelukken dat we dit tegen kwamen. Hele fijne service en mensen. Daarnaast heerlijk eten en lekkere drankjes.

Personeel was uitermate attent. Bij het vleesgerecht werden geen warme groenten geserveerd, alleen maar frietjes en salade. Erg karig. Daarnaast vond ik de prijs aan de hoge kant.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst, gezellig ingericht restaurant. Wij kozen voor 4 gangen verrassingsmenu en alles was even lekker. Je kunt hierbij eventuele allergieën of iets wat je echt niet lekker vindt aangeven. Aanrader bij bezoek aan Drachten

Fantastisch lekker gegeten! Met daarbij nog de zeer attente bediening maakte het een topavond! Hier weet men waar het op het gebied van gastvrijheid om gaat. Een welkomskaartje met je naam op tafel en medewerkers die precies aanvoelen wanneer langs te komen en bovendien ook de kaart zeer goed kennen.
