Fantastic place, great food, amazing specials.

Hey, went there with my girlfriend on a date. Atmosphere was super relaxing the spot is nice and cool. It was super busy but we where helped timely. Food was super good, and since I have allergies I got a special menu which was super handy (only didn't get told what the icons meant). Definitely a good recommendation to go and get a bite with some friends or family/partner.

Hanno is a must try place if your are in Delft! The food quality, variety, and the vibe of the restaurant is excellent. Especially great during the summer! There are several celiac friendly, gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free options available. The staff is very polite and accommodating. And among the staff, Thyrza, who helped us with our table and food was wonderful! She was very helpful with food recommendations, allergy requests, and everything else! Our dining experience was much more enjoyable and personal thanks to her!

High prices and paltry dishes? I'm sorry, but you don't understand the spirit of this wonderful place. A little gem of a restaurant in the heart of Delft. A "global" menu with dishes that just reading the names makes you hungry. We went here with my family, four of us, and we had six different dishes to share, all excellent. Sharing, that's the spirit. You don't come here to gorge yourself on food like a trucker in a trattoria. You have the chance to taste dishes from all over the world in one welcoming and familiar place. We paid €14 each for a unique experience, a very fair price. €14 in Milan doesn't even cover an aperitivo. I wish I had a few more days there just to try everything on the menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great evening of sharing food on a cozy square and a relaxed atmosphere!!

Super varied and unique menu! There's also an allergens chart that clearly indicates whether something can be prepared without an allergen. The menu is primarily designed for sharing. We ordered several dishes (not all of which are pictured). The pita bread with cauliflower was delicious, and the flatbread is also highly recommended. My table companions, and I saw other tables, loved the dumplings. They even ordered them twice. One drawback is that the dishes are small, so you often have to order several things. This made it quite pricey, so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5. Nevertheless, the food was delicious, and I will definitely go back.

Simply perfect: the food is delicious, the service is super friendly and thinks along with you, and the atmosphere on the terrace is always cozy. Probably the best mocktails I've ever had!

The karage, sweet potatoe friends and Takoyaki were absolutely delicious. Almost as good as in Japan!!

Very cool café with amazing staff, fantastic menu, and excellent ambience. We came in around dinnertime and did not have a reservation. We were able to get great seats at the bar and watch the bartenders make all of the really cool cocktails and drinks. Service was quick and the food was delicious.

Absolutely blown away by this place! We had the karaage, sweet potato fries, takoyaki, and the cocktail of the week, and every single item was incredible. The karaage and takoyaki were almost Japan-level good, seriously impressive. Everything was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and just hit the spot. We absolutely loved it and can't wait visit again!

Yesterday we sat together wonderfully relaxed on the terrace at Hanno. The food was delicious, a surprising menu. I suffer from quite a few allergies. It's nice to know that there is also staff that thinks along with you, I don't often come across that. Otherwise also very customer friendly. In short: see you soon again!

We had a great time drinking and eating here. Excellent service, delicious food. Update September 16: still excellent service and delicious dishes, great that Hanno can maintain that quality. Update June 24: everything the same, only the chairs are starting to irritate me more and more.

Went for dinner with 4 people on Saturday. Nice concept; a kind of shared dining with a mixed kitchen from various countries. Most dishes have a bit of spice in them. 2-3 dishes per person is advised and the drinks were delicious. Good cocktails. Be careful; it can be busy. Booking in advance is a plus. My experience was excellent, but for people with a lower tolerance for spicy food it is better to order the bites.

Delicious food, every dish is sublime. A lot of money but worth it. Chairs and tables are a bit Spartan but terrace and surroundings are cozy.

Since I still feel that you are a pretty cool place and your worldwide menu is a great alternative to all the Burger and Fries stuff in town, we will surely visit you again and give it a second try when we‘re around. For your staff: we were indeed sitting on the outside row and there were some plants, but both tables to our sides have been visited two times. As far as I noticed it seems that every table got some water and popcorn on arrival, at least this should have been noticed at our table. A „hello, just a minute“ from the staff serving the other tables would have been enough. A „Did you notice table number XX - they look a bit desperate“ between the staff would be perfect. 👌🏻 Keep the Hanno rocking and your guests happy. 👍😊 Original post: The menu was sooo promising and we were really looking forward to ordering - but we waited more than 20 minutes and watched more than 4 other tables coming later and beeing served and orders taken immediately and went off with a terrible mood of beeing completely ignored. And that though we extra dressed up for this night and having a special evening. Double frustrating since we took very long to select especially this restaurant from the many in Delft.

Delicious and fun to try several different foods. The squid was yummy! The teriyaki chicken was so good and the tropical slice were our favorites!

Favorite in Delft! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is always great. One of my favorite places in Delft with a very cozy terrace. The service is super friendly, is well informed about the menu and helps a lot with choices and/or wishes. I always like to be able to taste different things, and at Hanno that is really a party. I really like to come here and definitely recommend this top place!

Nice restaurant on a cozy square in Delft with a spacious terrace. Pleasant service, and you don't have to wait long for your drink or food. The menu is international with many different dishes so plenty of choice. It's all shared dining which I personally find a less pleasant concept. The quality is excellent but for a full meal I would like to have the option to order rice and salad or something, instead of an extra dish to fill the stomach. However, that is not on the menu. But otherwise a great restaurant

Hanno Groot is a restaurant of superlatives – after our first visit, we knew we had to experience it again. And so we're coming back. We've already dined with Michelin-starred cuisine, and Hanno Groot surprised us. We experienced a culinary fireworks display, accompanied by very attentive service in a comfortable setting. We are absolutely thrilled!

HANNO - Groots café is definitely the best restaurant I visited this year. I went there quit early with my mother around 17:45 as we didn't have reservations. We were seated almost immediately and got served this cute bowl of complimentary salted popcorn. Their menu might be my favorite restaurant menu yet . HANNO offers a variaty of tapas dishes located from all over the world. I really loved that the dishes were on the smaller side, because I wanted to try literally everything. As a vegetarian I had plenty of choice and I didn't feel like I was missing out on any of the good food. I especially loved the Khubz bil-Zahra, which is a warm pita filled with well-seasoned tender cauliflower, crispy almonds and a refreshing salad. I must say that while the ambiance was bustling and energetic, it was also quit noisy. The servers were friendly and very willing to offer menu recommendations. If you like trying unique food and new cuisines, HANNO is definitely worth a visit!

Visiting tourist and I really loved the Bao Buns and the Crispy Chicken appetizer. Service was very friendly, and location was easy to find and get to.

This place was absolutely amazing, way beyond our expectations. We visited the place with kids. The seating was extremely comfortable and the service was very friendly. There is a variety of cuisine available in the menu from all over the world. We explored several dishes and each of them was unique yet scrumptious. The presentation of the food was brilliant and fun, something our kids enjoyed as well.

Went to lunch with my girlfriends this afternoon and we immediately understand why they were booked up so quickly. The food was really delicious, enough choices, nice to share together. Service really great, service super friendly. Will definitely go back!

Wonderfully surprising! Not your standard bar/pub food so be prepared to try something new. You won’t regret it. To drink we enjoyed their IPA and a lovely elderflower cocktail. We took our server’s recommendation and tried the house special, the bao buns and the sweet potato fries. All delicious!

Had a bunch of "bites". The presentation of the food is as fabulous as the food itself. The flavors are incredible and selections are from all over the world and the country is labelled on the menu. Ask your server for suggestions, they are a great help. Great atmosphere, exceptional, eclectic food, highly recommend. A must visit.

The food was very good and tasty, clearly prepared with care. A small downside was that the menu did not mention that a dish contained coriander, useful to know for people who are not so fond of that. Furthermore, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the service was excellent: friendly and attentive. Also nice to notice that the location is easily accessible, my grandmother could get in with her walker without any problems. All in all a very nice experience!

Nice place with shared dining concept. Atmosphere is good, tables are very compactly placed and it is quite a long wait for the very friendly service. Dishes are original and well prepared. However, in our opinion, dishes are (too) small to really share, especially considering the price per dish of 6-20 euros. Price/quality/quantity is skewed, including the cocktails. Good taste, but very small for 10-13 euros/piece.

They’ve got a great mix of foods from all over the world, I even had some really tasty South African beef jerky there. The only downside was that they ran out of karaage just before I could order around 7 PM. Still, overall, it was a great experience!

We had dinner late on King's Day and the service was very slow even though there weren't many people anymore. I don't know if the same thing will happen on a normal day. The food is original but the portions are very small for the price.

A great place with an extraordinary menu card. There are plenty of foreign dishes. We’ve been there once for Dinner and another day for breakfast. All dishes are extremely yummy. The only minus is that the portions of the main course are really small. I also can recommend the extraordinary cocktails. A great place to start relaxed in the evening. Super friendly staff. The food stood out – both in presentation and taste – and was clearly prepared with care and creativity. The homemade lemonades are also worth trying. Very nice place with professional, yet very friendly staff with their hearts in the right place. Even when it comes to (political) events that take place outside the restaurant walls. The food is always delicious. Definitely come back here more often.

We sat outdoors for lunch under beautiful trees and colorful decorations. The menu offered an interesting variety of fused international dishes. Our waiter was of great help making our choice. We shared four dishes among us three which was fine because we were not too hungry. The food was of very good quality and the prices were reasonable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

Even though it was very busy, we received extremely friendly service. The concept of all the food being shared took a bit of getting used to for us at first, but it was great to be able to try so many different things. Everything there was to eat was very good and nicely presented. Vegetarians should pay attention to the carbohydrate content of the dishes in order to fill them up. It was great that we were provided with water without asking. The place is quite cramped, but nicely and imaginatively decorated.

Excellent food (international chick in Dutch style). Too bad that politics gets involved while eating from the restaurant to attract customers. An extreme left starting point from the waitress towards the guests. Extremely unprofessional. Never come back here again .
