So lovely to buy a simple Dutch pleasure and recieve friendly service. Dining on the harbour on a sunny day...hele lekker!

A very nice lady helped us. I was a bit unsure, but she explained everything to me really well. The fries were perfectly golden and the burger was delicious!

Very few things have been the same since 1983, but this place has.

That previous review is completely ridiculous. Rude staff!! I know who this lady was, but I have no idea what was wrong with her. She gave the command "patat oorlog" (French fries with onion), not "a please" or anything like that... I've been coming here for years, and the patat oorlog (French fries with onion) is standard. She comes back furiously, throws her bag on the counter, and yells, "I said "oorlog" (French fries with onion)." I don't know how those ladies managed to stay friendly, but I would have given her a big mouth back!

Delicious food, but the staff is really rude. The lady could definitely be a bit friendlier with her customers.

Not used to Harteveld, but I have now received snacks made from old fat. When I opened the bags it smelled terrible. Hope this is a one-off because normally it's fine

Super nice old-fashioned shack but also just good fries. Sit outside with a cheese souffle in a checked cone. Simply tasty and old-fashioned. I love it.

BECAUSE I LIVED THERE AND WAS BORN IN MAASLUIS DE WYK THE HEAD, RAILWAY TREE, WAS THEN ESSO GAS PUMP AND BEHIND THE KINDERGARTEN. AND WE HAD A SUPERMARKET AND BUTCHER FROM FAM.BEEST ELLEN / CONNIE IS A FRIEND OF MY SISTER. AND WAS AN EGG FARMER AND A VEGETABLE STORE AND HAIRDRESSER AND DROGIST, FABRIC STOFFEN AND BURGMEESTERJONGKADE BAKKER PATATZAAK MYN BUREN VAN DE WAL AND VAFE -RESTERANT FAM.UDO. Young girl takes my order. A small fries with mayo and a bear claw. With peanut sauce she asked? Uh, no thanks because I don't like that. To eat here. A girl comes along. He packs everything and I couldn't see if my order was correct. OK no problem. A little further on I decided to sit down quietly to eat. Berelaw was fried with peanut sauce and much too hard, almost black. She had placed the bear claw on top of the fries and the paper bag was closed. This resulted in the fries becoming limp and rubbery. And then an awful lot of salt on top. Maybe take a course in Belgium on how to do it. I threw everything in the trash.

According to my niece, the best fries in Vlaardingen, we enjoyed it so much, the peanut sauce was too tasty!

Luckily E still exist!!!! One snack bar in an old wooden room! It is almost falling apart from age. From the outside you would almost certainly walk right past it. But above all DO NOT!!!! Go in here and order something tasty from their wide range. . When I was here I ordered two frikandels. No nonsense, just delicious. As a tip, always order something with peanut sauce in a snack bar, if that's good, the rest will be too!!! But anyway, it looked neat and tidy inside. A friendly lady was working hard. Even though it wasn't that busy, she was busy cleaning. So you see, the outside of a snack bar says nothing. Here the customers are number 1 and they also care about quality and hygiene. I can highly recommend everyone to get something here!!!!

Great little chip shop on the canal side. Friendly folk behind the counter. And the prices? Cheap as chips! 😉

Heerlijke patat. Vroeger jaren tachtig op zaterdagnacht vrat iedeen daar patat en zeikte over de kwaliteit. Ze komen er nog en het is nog steeds heerlijk.

snacks waren heerlijk alleen fe patat mag van mij wat knapperiger....

Altijd goed na een avondje kantelen.

Heerlijke patat met superlekkere pindasaus gegeten, goed en netjes geholpen door een naamgenoot van mij, aanrader dus!

Lekkere friet , prima snacks .Ja als richard er staat . Niks op aan te merken. Altijd lekker .maaaaaar, Als daar die jonge magere meid er staat met haar haar strak naar achter en dat knotje in dr haar ....loop dan door ....want... Ze is gewoon niet vriendelijk. Kan geen glimlach af . Als het draadloos pinnen niet lukt met je mobiel kijkt ze echt totaal niet vriendelijk. Eerder ... nou schiet op jo .ik heb nog meer te doen ( terwijl ik de enigste klant was) De patat leek wel als of er een strooiwagen over heen was gegaan. Zooo veel zout ..niet normaal .leek wel expres gedaan .en vraag je 3 kroketjes met ZAKJES mosterd...je kent ze wel heinz mosterd ,spuit ze mosterd over de kroketten heen in het plastic bakje en niet zoon klein beetje ook .de kroketten kon je haast niet terug vinden .. en de kroketten waren helemaal zacht geworden door de mega laag mosterd .gatver de gat gewoon vergalt ..een kroket hoort knapperig te zijn.en als je vraag om de boel in te pakken en vraag je vorkjes , nou vergeet het maar .niks vorkjes niks servetjes terwijl je wel aan geeft om alles op te eten op een bankje een 200 meter verder een oud museum. Beste richard , dit weet jij misschien niet maar als wij trek hebben in een patatje met wat snacks dan kijken we wel eerst of die meid er staat ..dan lopen wel verder naar megasnacks in de waalstraat . Daar hebben wij dit nog nooit megemaakt . Ik begrijp de goede reviews echt wel .maar die meid is echt niet klantvriendelijk ,er kan geen lachje af of neem iemand aan die wel plezier heeft in dr werk en niet klanten ziekt met jou producten.dit is al de tweede keer dat wij dit meemaken . sorry rich.

Is nostalgie deze locatie al meer dan vijftig jaar denk ik maar het balletje gehakt is niet meer zo lekker als vroeger waren blik ballen toen lekker
