I had my first kipsalon here. The kebab meat was not the best, a bit dry, and I was confused when they brought the meal to my table with what I thought was ketchup and mustard (my brain has been conditioned that those are the condiments that are served in red and yellow bottles) until I thought I'd try a little ketchup...and then realised my mistake - sambal in the red bottle, garlic sauce in the yellow! 😅 With the sauces the meat was still dry, but tasted better. The sambal was a bit saltier than I would have liked, but it was acceptable. I won't rush back here, but if I'm hungry after 10pm again and everything else is closed, I wouldn't feel sad that I have to eat here again.

My regular spot around the corner from work. High-quality food, not greasy, fries nice and crispy. The owners are friendly and helpful. Quiet atmosphere in a beautiful location.

We (our family) were treated very unkindly before we could order. There were no greetings, and we stood waiting without being spoken to, while staff stood freely behind the counter. At one point, I politely asked if I could place the order for the five of us, but I was rudely cut off with a finger-pointing and told "later." We spend our money where customer service and friendliness come first. We have therefore left HAS Oostplein.

If u want to pay 12 euros for a kapsalon that has just a little meat in it, this is the place to go. Disappointing!

Hopeless, as the only customer, and ordering 2 Turkish pizzas. At the counter, 1 Turkish pizza with chicken and lettuce, NO sauce. 1 Turkish pizza with chicken and everything. Received no questions or any reaction whatsoever, so it must be fine. Received, 1 Turkish pizza without chicken but with sauce. 1 Turkish pizza with vegetables and some shredded... I don't know what... Hadn't drunk, respected the house rules. Response to your answer, You are trying to prove with video footage that you are right, too. Take it from me, it wasn't what I ordered. Placed the same order yesterday in Lage Land and it was delicious. Much more filling too. You have my face on camera. You will never see that in your shop again.

It's a business that has become a tradition in Rotterdam. The owners are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying Kapsalon before you leave.

Food was ok but staff were rude

Compared to the times I ate at Has Döner Oostplein previously (before the renovation), the taste and service have improved. The meat is nicely cooked, not dry. Sometimes there is a slightly browned edge to the meat, but that doesn't bother me. The flavor is balanced. The vegetables are fresh. A good amount of sauce. The chef knows exactly what he is doing!

Always great food with the guys with tattoos! But on weekend nights, the food and serving are different; those guys have a lot to learn. Fat meat and not really tasty!

I bought a doner this evening and have been buying food from this place for last 7 months. They know me when I go in. Still the people who work there especially during weekends are so dumbheaded that customer service is something that they have not heard of. They can't stop fighting among themselves and gives you what they want want to give you.such a shame..just bcoz there are no doner shops around that time, these people think they can act anyways. Such a pity..if the management sees this response, please do something about the special bunch of people who work there in the evening especially on weekends, teach them basic manners and customer service.

They served excellent kapsalon, including their "wrap salon," the wrap version. The owners who run the shop are friendly, and the food is competitively priced.

Truly excellent service, very friendly people, and the Turkish pizza was well-filled. I asked for extra garlic and received plenty. The atmosphere was a bit less than stellar, only because they're open late at night, which usually attracts a lot of drunk people. But they're their customers, and they can't help it.

They trick the clients. The service is not good. There is a young guy with a hat and a beard that is really aggressive. There were two girls ordering something and they got a different order. They complained and they were kicked out.

They used to have good döner here, but now you have to be careful. The pieces of meat are burnt, dry, and hard. Like eating bits of chicken skin… It's because there's a lot of red onion and garlic sauce, which adds a lot of flavor and compensates for the blandness. But that often happens when the meat is bad. The meat here is truly inedible, maybe even drunk. It's a shame the quality has deteriorated so much. What a waste of €11.50. A waste of money. You can get a good kapsalon at Doner Company of Jaffa these days.

Fantastic service, delicious food

The Kapsalon is perfect, which is what every visitor should go for. However the pricing of a durum compared to Kapsalon does not make sense. The durum is very small, not a lot of fill. Pita is more fair but both lack filling. Can recommend but go for kapsalon!

The service was very poor. A greasy boy of about 16 years old was behind the counter and he was very grumpy. It also looked like a bite had been taken from my döner. By the way, there was a strange white sauce on it, definitely not garlic sauce, it looked more like semen. I am very dissatisfied with the service.

I honestly don't understand some of the bad reviews. I eat here regularly, and it's always good. The meat is well-seasoned, nice and warm, and never dry. The sandwiches and wraps are fresh and tender, and the sauce is just right—not too much, not too little. The staff is friendly and quick to help. You can tell it's sometimes busy (especially around dinner time), but they always stay polite. Recently, they even asked if I wanted extra sauce or vegetables, which not many places do. The restaurant itself is clean, the counter looks neat, and the food is prepared right in front of you. The location on Oostplein is great—easy to get to and ideal for a quick bite. The price-quality ratio is also excellent, especially compared to other restaurants in the area. You really get your money's worth. In short: don't let those few negative reviews put you off. Some people complain about nothing. If you just want a tasty döner or a good wrap, go here. Always great food, good portions, and friendly people.

Even though students and customers often show disrespect, they just keep working hard! I got to meet the owner, a very sweet man! I'm a fellow kebab shop owner myself, and I don't get customers like that, and I don't want to. Much respect!

Once you find this place, you won’t need another spot. Food is wonderful! The price is reasonable relative to the norms here but the portions are very good and it is also very tasty. The service is also excellent, with people like Ehsan making your day. Their timings are good and their shop is clean. You don’t need much else, and you won’t want to go anywhere else!

The guy working there was incredibly friendly and helpful — he took the time to explain everything to us even though we didn’t understand the menu in Dutch. Everything is always fresh, fast and reliable. The service is friendly and you feel welcome as soon as you enter.
