Found this place at midnight while searching for food. Very friendly atmosphere and great food. The person there is very sweet and nice. Would suggest taking his recommendation for food.

Fantastic service, delicious food

The Kapsalon is perfect, which is what every visitor should go for. However the pricing of a durum compared to Kapsalon does not make sense. The durum is very small, not a lot of fill. Pita is more fair but both lack filling. Can recommend but go for kapsalon!

The service was very poor. A greasy boy of about 16 years old was behind the counter and he was very grumpy. It also looked like a bite had been taken from my döner. By the way, there was a strange white sauce on it, definitely not garlic sauce, it looked more like semen. I am very dissatisfied with the service.

I honestly don't understand some of the bad reviews. I eat here regularly, and it's always good. The meat is well-seasoned, nice and warm, and never dry. The sandwiches and wraps are fresh and tender, and the sauce is just right—not too much, not too little. The staff is friendly and quick to help. You can tell it's sometimes busy (especially around dinner time), but they always stay polite. Recently, they even asked if I wanted extra sauce or vegetables, which not many places do. The restaurant itself is clean, the counter looks neat, and the food is prepared right in front of you. The location on Oostplein is great—easy to get to and ideal for a quick bite. The price-quality ratio is also excellent, especially compared to other restaurants in the area. You really get your money's worth. In short: don't let those few negative reviews put you off. Some people complain about nothing. If you just want a tasty döner or a good wrap, go here. Always great food, good portions, and friendly people.

As a taxi driver, I'm always happy with your service. Especially with the owner and Ehsan. You guys are the best. You always have to deal with difficult people, even though they're still good.

Got dinner late yesterday and was definitely satisfied. These guys work incredibly hard and definitely deserve respect! Even though students and customers often show disrespect, they just keep working hard! I got to meet the owner, a very sweet man! I'm a fellow kebab shop owner myself, and I don't get customers like that, and I don't want to. Much respect!

Once you find this place, you won’t need another spot. Food is wonderful! The price is reasonable relative to the norms here but the portions are very good and it is also very tasty. The service is also excellent, with people like Ehsan making your day. Their timings are good and their shop is clean. You don’t need much else, and you won’t want to go anywhere else!

Ordered a flap salon. I mean kapsalon. Old, dry meat, even drier than the one next door. Hard fries and no sambal. How could you forget that?

The guy working there was incredibly friendly and helpful — he took the time to explain everything to us even though we didn’t understand the menu in Dutch. My regular spot for years! I have been coming to Has Döner for years and it is always great. The meat is perfectly seasoned, the bread fresh and the portions generous. Everything is always fresh, fast and reliable. The service is friendly and you feel welcome as soon as you enter. In all that time, the quality has always remained constant - something you rarely see these days. Has Döner remains number 1 for me!

Really weak, still no vegan kebab (so simple and delicious vegan chicken, seitan, etc.) so many kebab shops have managed to preserve the taste without exploiting animals. It's not that difficult.

I was surprised that this place doesn’t offer a vegan döner option. With plant-based eating on the rise and more people choosing vegan meals for health, ethics, or environmental reasons, offering a vegan alternative isn’t just a trend – it’s good business. Many groups include at least one person who eats plant-based, and if there’s nothing for them, the whole group goes elsewhere. A vegan doner would use the same bread, sauces (with simple tweaks), and veggies – only the protein changes. It’s easy to implement and shows that the shop cares about all its customers, not just the meat-eaters. In 2025, staying competitive means offering choice. Hopefully, they reconsider.

The place is open until late hours so if I am craving food after a long day at work this is where I come. The stuff is friendly and hard working. If you behave respectfully you get the same energy back

If there was 0 stars I would give that. We did take out and they refused to give us sauce. Moreover we were kicked out without our food and the younger waiter was incredibly rude to our friends.

When I place my order I hear that they have ketchup, but when it is my turn I am told that they do not. No problem. Order 3 shawarma sandwiches and clearly indicate; 2 shawarma rolls only meat, 1 with everything on it. Repeated in Turkish. You think it should work. You can still hear them discussing among themselves whether or not to use garlic. Order was for sahur, meenmen sandwiches, I ate one of which I said with everything missing sambal. No stress is possible. Then sandwiches were given to the people and they did not eat... because only meat meant with sauce... unfortunately someone had to fast without eating due to their mistake. Apparently from now on everything can be checked everywhere
