Best pub in Wijk aan Zee. Great service and a friendly crowd. You can also enjoy pool, chess, shuffleboard, darts, or mini axe throwing.

We visited here with our dog in the evening. The food was actually delicious; I had the burger and my parents had the spare ribs. But there must have been something wrong with the food. The following night, my parents weren't feeling well; my mom even started throwing up. Based on our experience, we wouldn't recommend this place, even though the staff was nice.

Super cozy pub. We were there with a bachelor/bachelorette party where the bachelor was dressed as a Viking. This pub was recommended to us, and it was an instant hit. The pub was decorated in a Viking theme. Upon arrival, the friendly bartender gave us a warm welcome with mead (a Viking drink) on the house. We were also given drinking horns to take pictures with. We certainly didn't have a dull moment. Besides the many board games, they even hung up a board where we could throw axes. Unfortunately, due to scheduling, we could only stay for a short time, but I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food and beer were excellent, and the location is super convenient. I tried the Flammkuchen, which was delicious—crispy, flavorful, and a nice change from the usual fare. I’d definitely go back again!

Delicious mead and a good selection of beers. I'll be a guest in 2024 and 2025. Good value for money. See you again in 2026. Keep up the good work!

Super delicious food, service is correct and friendly, price/quality ratio is great. Atmosphere is rustic, primordial and just cozy and relaxed. Really recommended if you just want to eat well.

Top shop, on the way to the beach. Quaint shop, large selection of drinks, owner speaks German, English and Dutch. I've never had such good ribs before. Absolutely reasonable in price. Come again!

If you like a rough atmosphere and want delicious food and drinks... totally great! Good special beers, delicious flammkuchen but also spare ribs and burgers... Friendly and cordial staff, all ingredients for a pleasant visit.

Cool bar with lots of opportunities to gamble. Darts and lots of board games available. Unfortunately it's also the only bar in town. Live music on weekends.

Schöne, urig angehauchte Kneipe mit dart oder einigen Spielen die man sich borgen könnte. Nähe zum Strand ist auch gegeben. Die Flammkuchen sind sehr empfehlenswert und die Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder.

Went here on the final day of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament and saw Anish Giri's historic win on the screen, as they had a livestream of the event in this establishment. However, even that momentous occasion aside, I immensely enjoyed myself here! The food and drinks were great, the staff were lovely, and it has a super fun atmosphere. I liked how everything was themed around ships, and it was a cozy place where you can relax and have some fun with friends. There are board games available so if you don't know how to fill the silence with small talk you can play those (or you can just play them anyway for the glory of winning, of course). I assume the little chess decorations were only there for the tournament, but I loved how they added to the atmosphere (and they were So Cute!). Definitely would come back here if I get the chance :)

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Abende hier, heute sogar mit Live-Musik. Die Bar ist gemütlich eingerichtet, das Personal mega lieb und freundlich. Jeder sollte hier mal einen Abend verbringen.

Sehr urige Wickingerbar. Superfreundlicher Wirt, frisches Bier und tolle Flammkuchen.

Heerlijke flammkuchen, goeie muziek en vriendelijk personeel. Leuke is dat je er ook meteen een spel kan spelen, dus ook voor kinderen zeer geschikt. En later op de avond een gezellige borrel.

Sauber. Spiele. Live Musik. Stimmung.
