Het Duincafé in Wijk 00 Bloemendaal

It's a bit of a shame that the kitchen closes at 5 o'clock already. Maybe mention it somewhere?

A nice place to eat and drink after a visit to the forest or the dunes. The coffee is good, and all lunch dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty. You can tell they take the kitchen seriously here. Absolutely a great spot. Do keep in mind, however, that it can get quite crowded at busy times.

Tasty snacks and nice service. Not expensive.

Lovely restaurant in nature. Unfortunately, there were no English/German options on the ordering page, which wouldn't have been difficult to fix. The ordering tool wanted me to pay twice, which meant I ended up having to wait in line.

A particularly cozy place, and ideal for a party.

Staff need to learn better manners. You don't just throw a "reserved" menu on the table while people are still drinking. At the very least, you say the table is reserved in half an hour. What a klutz.

Nice place to sit. But: incredibly expensive, minimal quality, staff agonizingly slow and inexperienced. Totally out of proportion for the price/quality ratio. What a disgrace.

Unfortunately, the trays and tables were very dirty and overpriced. I paid over €12 for a small bottle of ginger shot.

On May 13th, the nine of us celebrated my birthday. We sat inside because of the weather. The atmosphere was very friendly and the food was delicious. My compliments and thanks for the good and friendly service!

Love the atmosphere here. Very easy going and they have matcha latte with coconut milk. Chicken salad was nice.

Yesterday I walked in here with my white cane. The staff is inattentive. They didn't offer me a table, and when I finally found a free spot with difficulty, no one came to take my order. They literally have no regard for people with disabilities here. Fifteen minutes later I went to the restroom and left disappointed, and in doing so, I was even nearly knocked over by the staff twice. Chaotic and disorganized.

A wonderful place to relax after a walk in the dunes.

Sat outside and then you have to get your own drinks, what a drama, no organization behind the counter at all.

I made a reservation for lunch today for 11 people in honor of my mother's birthday. I called last week to confirm; it was already in the reservation. At the agreed-upon time, there was no table available, and the reservation couldn't be found. With great difficulty, two dirty tables were pushed together, for which we had to wait a long time and repeatedly ask for it. Ordered lunch, had the waitress count 11 dishes; yes, 11 times it was in the reservation. My son was the only one who didn't get his bell pepper soup. After asking the waitress repeatedly, a slow waiter responded after three times: "Was it pea soup?" Another waiter: "Was it a large or small soup?" All the other food on the table was cold because we waited over 10 minutes for soup. No apology, no coffee or drink offered as compensation. This is the last time our family and friends from Haarlem and the surrounding area, to whom we're passing this on, have been here.

Coffee at 8 a.m. and sitting outside with a blanket. It was wonderful in the early morning.

Great place for a post-run coffee

The coffee was very tasty. Cookies were very good as well and there was a large vegan selection. However I can not give this place full marks because on a couple of separate ocasions they have served me an iced americano that was actually lukewarm and without any ice. I would understand if they simply didnt serve iced coffees but they made it for me correctly in the past and they also agreed to do it on these ocasions so I am not sure what the problem was.

T' Wed is a wonderful location for Body Power sessions. Let loose in nature, on the beach. Recharge with the sun, move freely.

Well it was pretty nice to spend some time at Het Duincafé. The things I didn't like is that we paid the same amount of money with a restaurant/cafe in any other place, and it was a takeaway, self-service, and even self-cleaning the table hahaha what's the point then of paying 6.50 for a tosti?

Delicious, sloppy iced coffee. And the dressing on the asparagus salad was delicious, with not too much, not too little. Orders can be picked up via pager.

I ate sandwiches on Wednesday afternoon and they were really rock hard and super dry, I think they were quite old, so not recommended.

The patatas bravas were super delicious😋 and it was wonderful to relax on the couch inside. The staff was very friendly🙂 nice place

Very nice place! Delicious food, including vegan options and everything fresh! The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Our son can go to the visitors center between meals. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we think it's more than worth it! We are looking forward to the summer so that our son can play outside in the sand.

Very tastefully decorated and cozy lunchroom next to the visitor center of Kennemerduinen National Park. Unfortunately, the Chai Latte Spiced was not very warm and contained a lot of whipped milk so I couldn't taste the spiciness. The pumpkin cake was also quite dry and probably no longer fresh.

Couldn't think of a better place for sitting down with a rewarding coffee and snack after a nice hike in the dunes! The place has bio/natural/vegetarian menu items and products, which is the best fit for being located next to a nature reserve. The Oyster mushroom croquette sandwich was so welcome after looking for wild mushrooms without succes ;)

Lovely place, good honest food and friendly people! And it is never too busy. It’s a super relaxed spot.

We had a lovely lunch on the terrace with our children and grandchildren. We discussed in advance that we wanted to eat exclusively vegetarian and partly vegan. The table was already nicely set when we arrived. The food, soup, sandwiches and salad were wonderfully fresh and very tasty. A nice place to eat with the 14th of us. Friendly service, beautiful place... RECOMMENDED!

Nice cafe next to the entrance of the zuidkennemerland national park. The drinks & bitterballen were fine but the service was slow and a bit lacking. You should get a glass when you order a bottle of water, it's a cafe, not a takeaway.

Enjoyed an Easter brunch with 10 people. Very extensive with many different snacks. Very tasteful, more than sufficient and well cared for. Also fun for children because there is a nice playground. The area is ideal for a dune walk. Good, but fairly pricey parking.

It is a nice place to take a rest after a long walk. But it is incredibly expensive. 2 non-alcoholic beers and 2 pink cakes cost €20 in total. Sorry, but what are you doing? Well maintained and good accessibility

Ordered two goat cheese toasties last Sunday. We had heard that it is very tasty. On Sunday we both got a toasted sandwich with a few crumbs of goat cheese. When the waiter was approached about it, they went back to the kitchen. The same toasted sandwiches came back, with a few extra crumbs of goat cheese on top, almost nothing. We ate them then, but it was actually a portobello and red onion sandwich! The cheese could not be tasted. We don't know whether that was thrift or incompetence on the part of the cook. So it was a bit disappointing. I also like to visit the dune cafe, it has also become beautiful after the renovation.

The Duincafé turned out beautiful. The room at the back now offers extra places and is quieter than at the front, where it is noisier. We love coming there, especially when the weather is nice you can sit outside. The oatcakes from chef Appie are highly recommended!

Portions are too little and quality of the food extremely low. Got a cheese toast and arrived cold with old bread that was way too hard to bite. Didn’t even enjoy the service as there are kids working and there is no organisation at all. Disappointed:(

Altijd even gezellig en lekker koffie.

Afgelopen zondag iets gedronken en gegeten. Hoop gestress in de keuken en achter de kassa. Schrikbarend duur! Poffertjes zijn niet vers en dat voor €6,00 per 10 stuks :(. Kortom volgende keer gaan we elders wat nuttigen.

Nice Cafe with a good playground in a very beautiful nature park

Op zich wel leuk hier en lekker eten. Helaas stond de muziek erg hard in de keuken en er werd bestek na afdrogen langdurig hard in de bak gegooit. Kon moeilijk mijn vader verstaan. Wel raar contrast, biologische eten in de duinen, met rock muziek.

Leuke plek, en heerlijke koffie’s met een leuke figuur erin! Zeker een aanrader

Geweldig fijn terras met riante stoelen en plaids voor als het koud is. Lekker veel biologische dranken en eten. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.Toplocatie in de duinen en vlak bij het duinmeer.

Bestel hier geen tosti kaas meer. Kwaliteit was ver onder de maat. Brood te dik en te hard, hoeveelheid kaas zeer gering.

There is ample outdoor seating space, children's play area with sand and climbing, good Dutchie food and drinks. Food is priced may be a touch higher than necessary but it's not too much. It is enjoyable, right next to small beach and the dunes. You can also go walking or take a hike to Bloomendaal or Zandvoort. Biking is also an option. You can also just visit to relax. Fine place.

The food is mediocre but the location, staff, and vibe earn it 4 stars. Go on a warm day, sit outside and let the kids play. Really nice.

Prachtige locatie met een mooie speeltuin. Jammer dat de koffie in papieren bekers geschonken wordt.

Hele leuke, lekkere en originele kaart en koelvitrines met eten en drinken. Behulpzaam personeel. Veel oplaadpunten!

Goeie locatie, mooi terras, goede selectie aan bieren. lunch is Oke , maar zeker voor verbetering vatbaar.

Lekkere biologische pannekoeken en bierrrr. Veel meer heb je lang niet altijd nodig. Ook goede koffie en taart, voor een ander deel van de dag. Aankleding binnen en buiten kan nog iets gezelliger, en de openingstijden iets ruimer, maar de bediening is prettig. En je euro's gaan naar een belangrijke organisatie.

Ondanks de Corona, heerlijk gezeten hier. Laptopje mee, sjaaltje om. Zonnetje in m’n gezicht. Het afhaal-deel was geopend met heerlijke koffie, koeken, etc. Met de kids hier ook al eens geweest en toen ook binnen koffie kunnen drinken. Gezellig, knus.

Leuke plek voor goeie bak koffee voor of na de boswandeling. Ze hebben ook lekkere taartjes en ander hapjes. Ideaal voor kids, speeltuin op 4 meter afstand

Great little café, with surprisingly high-quality food. They seem to focus on homemade and organic, common dishes but well-made. The service is nice and attentive, also not typical at beach/dune cafes. It’s located in the entrance of the national Park and Dune walk near the lake, right in front of a playground so perfect for families.

Leuke plek om voor of na een wandeling nog ff gezellig “ een bakkie” te doen. Lekkere taartjes, salades en ander lekkers.

Sehr schönes Café am Eingang zum Nationalpark. Glutenfreie Speisekarte, sehr freundliches Personal, leckere Pfannkuchen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Met familie een heerlijke biologische lunch gegeten, met oa gegrilde groenten, hummus, groentekroket en heerlijk brood ! Alles biologisch 😀 Super vriendelijke en vlotte bediening !
