It's a bit odd that you pay in advance, but the food was delicious. A wide selection in the sushi, wok, and teriyaki sections. There's also an extensive dessert buffet.

Hard-working people who make sure you go home with a (too) full stomach!

The food is excellent! Definitely recommended if you want a quick, good meal and don't want to wait for service. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

Very crowded. Little space at the buffets. Sloping floor at the bar and dessert buffet. Food sits in the trays for ages and looks stale. Unskilled staff at the grill area. Orders take a long time to arrive and are black.

The food was very good, with plenty of variety. The staff was very friendly. It looks neat and tidy. Sometimes it's a bit too busy, and people look at you as if you weren't trying to snatch their last snack right in front of them.

Delicious food for a good price. Nice and cozy, so definitely not crowded. Plenty of choices and everything freshly prepared. The selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is also excellent. And the owner is friendly and always has time for a chat. The drive from IJsselstein was more than worth it.

The concept is nice, the staff is friendly, but the food is uninspired. For example, I love carpaccio, but this one was mediocre. And I know carpaccio! The sushi was sometimes good, sometimes mediocre. The chicken was sometimes a bit dry. The crème brûlée was mediocre (and I know crème brûlée!). All in all, the food was generally mediocre. The service was excellent, the price was good, and the concept was interesting. So, overall, 3 stars.

Beautifully renovated. The food is delicious. Plenty of choices. And friendly, helpful staff. The children's room could use a few more toys and decorations.

We went there once years ago and it was just bad... we went there tonight after the renovation and it looks nice but the food hadn't changed much... no next time for us.

The meat was not cooked properly and there were not many types of desserts, no sweets at the dessert buffet and that is why we will not come back.

Now that the restaurant has been renovated, the food is also very good.

There aren't many options for stir-frying other than chicken and beef, and maybe some fish. A griddle offers a bit more variety. It's still tasty and warm in the pan. It's not like it used to be.

After a few years we ate at Het Genoegen again. The restaurant has had a major update: new interior and facilities. It looks beautiful. The food is excellent and varied. Friendly service.

Despite it being an All you can eat, I had a great meal here. It is a relatively small restaurant but the food they offer is of excellent quality! Super friendly staff!

Special. Very good quality, many different snacks to choose from, nice beer on tap and a cigarette on the terrace with a drink are also possible. Furthermore, respect for the chefs who really do top sport to serve everyone and everything, real team play. Delicious food, and do they like spicy?, ask for their own made sambal in oil.......

The food was very tasty! But what stood out was the staff! If they even see that you want to order something where there happens to be no one (behind the bar or something) they immediately take action! The staff is friendly, ready for a chat, continuously takes away your dirty dishes and really makes it a well-cared for evening.

Today 1st Pentecost day eaten here. The meat was really great! Price quality is here well in proportion. Drinks and desserts also fine. I also found the table arrangement good not too close together and they take the company into account.

I am not a big fan of this kind of eateries, but an all-in formula including drinks. Great location, good food, friendly staff, clean and more than enough choice. Go eat here sometime. I was pleasantly surprised in any case

Had a fairly early reservation 17:30. When we started eating it seemed like all the dishes had been under the heat lamps for an hour. They were lukewarm and the meat was dry and hard. The scallops tasted like warm water and the sushi only like rice. Everything that was freshly prepared was completely fried to pieces and therefore dry. At least the desserts were tasty. We will not come back here again.

We have been coming to Het Genoegen for many years now, always good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. However, last Christmas we regretted that the food was mediocre for the first time. O.a. The Foe yong hai and salads had little flavor, the sauce on the beans tasted somewhat chemical and the herb butter tasted mostly like butter. This trip, the quality and price were not in proportion to the expectations we normally have of this Wok Restaurant.

It felt a bit cramped, but also cozy. Only when it got busier, especially the food court was too busy. In a number of dishes that had already been prepared, the meat was dry and sometimes simply hard! Unfortunately no white rice, which is a shame. We expected more.

Friendly people So busy that the food suffers. Nicely renovated. Have now eaten again. Much quieter and this gave the cook more time for preparation. Still friendly and a beautiful building.

Nicely renovated. The area where you can have your meat/fish prepared is unclear and the space is very cramped.

The service from the staff was good. There's nothing to say about that. But we were disappointed with the food. Pretty lame. There was little taste in the food. And they threw everything out in the toilet at night.

What a friendly welcome upon entering, the owner suspected, but we were really and sincerely welcomed. That is sometimes different at a world restaurant. Everything is very neat and clean, which is of course very pleasant. The restaurant is not very large, so certainly not a "food barn", but a nice restaurant. Due to the limited space it could look a bit cramped, but if the customers were more considerate of each other (read: walk on the right, don't walk 4 abreast and certainly don't let small children play while eating). There is a nice, fun space for the children, but I didn't use it myself ;) Furthermore, very tasty dishes, friendly chefs and service that often comes by to remove glasses and plates from the table, really super neat. Good food. Enough supply and choice of everything! Wokking is the best, we found....and we were fine, in the place where we were.

Large space, few staff. If it is not too busy then it will work, if it is busy you will have to wait a long time at the grill or griddle. Shusi is tasty.

Very friendly staff! It is mainly up to you whether you eat well; you have to choose well yourself. What I chose was always good and fresh. This was our second time at Het Genoegen, because our daughter likes it so much. I really enjoyed it both times 😉.

I definitely recommend it and will come there more often, friendly staff, they think about everything. It was great that we were in a quiet place with a 4-month-old baby. Food is good and perfectly prepared. Wide range. In short, great!

A place from the category, you pay and eat as much as you want. Tasty dishes. Everyone will find something for themselves. The problem is that the staff takes too many orders at once. Confusion arises. Our order was completed in 5 minutes. My friends waited for about twenty minutes because they were forgotten about in the rush of orders.

Wij komen al heel wat jaartjes met veel plezier bij Het Genoegen, altijd lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel en een fijne ambiance. Echter afgelopen kerst vonden wij het eten tot onze spijt voor het eerst middelmatig. O.a. De Foe yong hai en salades hadden weinig smaak, de saus op de boontjes proefde enigszins chemisch en de kruidenboter smaakte merendeels naar boter. Deze reis stond de kwaliteit en de prijs niet tot verhouding met de verwachtingen die wij normaliter hebben van dit Wok Restaurant. Het had meer weg van supermarkt eten dat weliswaar mooi was gepresenteerd.

Actually just a bit too busy around the holidays. Staff doesn't explain anything, doesn't ask if you are familiar, points to the table and walks away immediately.

Today we had dinner on Christmas Day.. Very busy, actually way too busy...lines to get food, people complained, it was too busy, it's better to go when there are no public holidays.. It was way too busy so you didn't eat much on days like that In addition, between meals you have to ask if you want to pay...I found this very annoying. We used to come there often but now I won't go so quickly anymore

If you want unlimited food and drinks for a nice price, this is highly recommended

Onlangs is de boel verbouwd en dat was inderdaad wel nodig. De kinderhoek wat gevaarlijk hingen de stopcontacten los! De kinderhoek is nog niks er staat een voetbal spel en dat was het! Tijdens de koffie ronden moest er in eens een tafel bij onze groep veranderd worden. Waarom wachten ze niet dat je gewoon weg bent. Erg onprettig en wij kregen alleen maar de opmerking even mee werken want er stonden mensen te wachten. Nee wij waren met een groep van 13 personen en waren nog niet klaar. Al met al een zeer onprettige niet klantvriendelijke manier van werken!

The business has been renovated and has a good atmosphere. More like before the renovation where it felt more like a 'food shed'. The service is decent, although it would have been nice if we had been asked whether we had been there before and whether we needed a tour or instructions. The food was fine, although my griddle salmon was overcooked and we missed the white rice. But what we had was otherwise fine.

It is a small but nice shop! Quite a small wok but the food is super tasty! Everything in the containers from which you could scoop yourself was nice and warm, everything tasted fresh. Sushi was also really top quality and the chefs were neat and friendly

Dishes were moderately replenished. There were containers almost empty with 1 or 2 snacks on them. It's a shame. The interior looks nice. Grade a 6+

We were already there regularly before the renovation, but it has now become even more extensive and has a fuller atmosphere. Really great and highly recommended.

We rented a chalet there. Beautiful location where a lot of water was used in the construction of the park. Gives a cozy impression and is easy to maintain. Highly recommended.

Na een grondige verbouwing ziet het er hip en fris uit. Assortiment is ook met z'n tijd meegegaan en we hebben lekker gegeten. Nog een pluspunt: supervriendelijke, jonge crew.

Just made a reservation for 5:00 PM via the site. (unfortunately not possible later because it was full. Otherwise only 7:00 PM) Will be called back immediately if we can come earlier. I say that unfortunately that is not possible, the lady asks if I want to eat until half past seven (1.5 hours) Because then they need the table. So poorly organised.

The restaurant was recently completely renovated. I would recommend reserving a table, which can be done very easily online. The selection of dishes is extensive. It's all you can eat. Everything about sushi, wok dishes and dessert is recommended. It clears up quickly and is very clean.
