Asian all-you-can-eat restaurant with griddle, wok, hot and cold starters, main courses, side dishes, and desserts, friendly service, cozy tables, eat and drink (!) as much as you can, nothing to complain about, so 5 stars.

Ate here for the first time. Not too big, but a cozy restaurant. Friendly staff and tasty food. Good value for money. We will definitely come back.

Lovely, hospitable, hard-working people. We have been going there regularly with the family for years. Especially now that it has been renovated, it really completes the whole picture. They survived Corona, and not without reason. They have plenty of choice. The kids love that! Furthermore, the food from the wok and the griddle tastes delicious! All in all, go eat there sometime! Really worth it!

Het Genoegen is a food factory that is busy. Plenty of choice; you won't starve. Lots of sushi selection, but the wok meat is poorly prepared. The staff is really busy.

Now that the restaurant has been renovated, the food is also very good.

Friendly welcome, food and drinks are fine, we especially liked the grilled fish and meat.

Very tasty food and not expensive

Friendly staff and a good welcome. However, the food is quite standard. The sushi isn't really tasty and much of the other food is pre-made. What is good, though, is the teppanyaki and the lava grill. The decor is also mediocre.

The food was excellent and of very good quality; the Wagyu burgers, in particular, were fantastic. Unfortunately, the chef at the teppanyaki was incredibly rude. While you are ordering, he whispers things in Chinese and speaks in an unpleasant manner. He also behaves very unfriendly when collecting the food. I wanted to take my plate and he immediately started shouting that it wasn't for me. Because of this treatment, I will never come back here. It is a real shame, because the owner and the rest of the staff are actually incredibly friendly. But when you pay so much money, you expect respectful and polite treatment.

The food was very good, with sufficient variety. The staff was very friendly. It looks neat and well-maintained. Sometimes it was a bit too crowded, and people would look at you as if you didn't want to snatch their last snack right from under their noses.

The food was inedible, I think it was the worst restaurant I've eaten at in ages, and the sushi was really gross too.

Hello, I ate at "Het Genoegen" twice again in April 2026. While it now costs €38.50 per person for two hours of food and drinks, the price is truly justified. The menu has expanded, and the quality of the food at the grill and wok station has improved even further (e.g., scallops, picanha steak, Wagyu burger, beefsteak, salmon fillet, etc.). We were very satisfied and had an excellent meal. We will definitely be back. Greetings, Frank Hi, I ate at "Het Genoegen" again yesterday with friends. It costs €32.50 per person and you can eat and drink as much as you like for two hours. There's a typical Chinese buffet, but also a large selection of cold appetizers (salmon, trout, mackerel, sushi). Oddly enough, there's no crispy duck on the buffet. But I always have fresh dishes prepared at the "Cook Station" at Het Genoegen anyway. For example, they fry Dover sole, salmon fillet, shell-on prawns, large mussels, pangasius, beefsteak, lamb chops, T-bone steak (which are quite thin, though), large mushrooms, or onions. To the left of that, at the wok station, you can choose delicious ingredients from a fresh food counter (including prawns, vegetables, etc.) and have them stir-fried. Also very tasty. You can pour your own drinks. Then there's a dessert buffet with ice cream, a chocolate fountain, and so on. So, if you don't leave here with a delicious and satisfying meal, it's your own fault. Really super cozy, fantastic food and super staff, a solid 10++

Update: the restaurant has been renovated, and is in a much better upgraded shape now. The atmosphere is nice, the service even better, and a wide selection of good food. The wok area is fine. The tepanyaki is good. Variety of food, some good, some mediocre. Wide variety of drinks and Desserts. The concept is self service, with friendly staff to cook and support. Separate room with children games.

Not really exciting, let's say. Few to no surprises... if you don't mind that, go for it. Otherwise, just keep looking... There are all-you-can-eat restaurants that are definitely up for the adventure, so to speak...

I hadn't been there since the renovation, but one day a bimbo on Instagram posted the restaurant in the top 10 of Dutch all-you-can-eat restaurants. There are much better ones, but in terms of price-quality ratio, including drinks, it's not too bad.

Friendly people. So busy that the food suffers. Beautifully renovated. We've eaten there a few more times now. Much quieter, which gave the chef more time to prepare. Still friendly and a beautiful building. We enjoy coming here on weekdays.

Wok Restaurant Het Genoegen, a masterclass in "how not to do it" Sometimes you come across a place where you think: this must be on purpose. Wok Restaurant Het Genoegen in Beneden Leeuwen is my absolute favorite as a textbook example of how not to run a wok restaurant. And believe me, that's a title you don't win easily. Let's start with the choice of dishes. Or rather, the lack thereof. The selection was so limited that you wonder if you accidentally walked in on a test night. A wok restaurant is supposed to have variety, but here it was more like: "choose from these few things... or forget it." Then the temperature. Not of the food, but of the restaurant itself. It was cold inside. So cold that you almost hope the wok can serve as a hand warmer. Cozy dining wasn't really an option; it was more like survival with cutlery. The biggest problem: everything tasted the same. Literally everything. Whether you have meat, fish, or vegetables prepared, the end result seems to come straight from the same bucket. As if there's one magic sauce that covers everything with the motto: "Then no one will taste the difference." And we haven't even mentioned the ready-made products. The quality was such that you wonder if the microwave isn't the most-used kitchen appliance. Fresh? Doubtful... Exciting? Not at all. Satisfaction? Absolutely not. In summary: • Very limited selection 🍽️ • Cold place when I was there ❄️ • Everything tastes the same 😐 • Lots of ready-made food 📦 • Uninspired from start to finish ✔️ Conclusion: For me, it's simple: I'll be driving to Druten from now on. Even hungry, even reluctantly, even with an empty tank. Because anything is better than being stuck here in culinary mediocrity. ⭐️⭐️ Two stars. One because there was food. And one because I found my way out again.

Enjoyed and ate delicious food, price ratio is okay

The sushi was incredibly dry, as if it had been sitting for hours or even days. The snacks were tough. The pandan cake tasted like fish. You ask for one piece of meat and get three or even four. The staff was very friendly, though.

What a clean and bright wok! I've rarely eaten in such a beautiful, clean wok, so I highly recommend it.

It's a bit odd that you pay in advance, but the food was delicious. A wide selection in the sushi, wok, and teriyaki sections. There's also an extensive dessert buffet.

The food is excellent! Definitely recommended if you want a quick, good meal and don't want to wait for service. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

Very crowded. Little space at the buffets. Sloping floor at the bar and dessert buffet. Food sits in the trays for ages and looks stale. Unskilled staff at the grill area. Orders take a long time to arrive and are black.

Delicious food for a good price. Nice and cozy, so definitely not crowded. Plenty of choices and everything freshly prepared. The selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is also excellent. And the owner is friendly and always has time for a chat. The drive from IJsselstein was more than worth it.

The concept is nice, the staff is friendly, but the food is uninspired. For example, I love carpaccio, but this one was mediocre. And I know carpaccio! The sushi was sometimes good, sometimes mediocre. The chicken was sometimes a bit dry. The crème brûlée was mediocre (and I know crème brûlée!). All in all, the food was generally mediocre. The service was excellent, the price was good, and the concept was interesting. So, overall, 3 stars.

The meat was not cooked properly and there were not many types of desserts, no sweets at the dessert buffet and that is why we will not come back.

There aren't many options for stir-frying other than chicken and beef, and maybe some fish. A griddle offers a bit more variety. It's still tasty and warm in the pan. It's not like it used to be.

After a few years we ate at Het Genoegen again. The restaurant has had a major update: new interior and facilities. It looks beautiful. The food is excellent and varied. Friendly service.

Despite it being an All you can eat, I had a great meal here. It is a relatively small restaurant but the food they offer is of excellent quality! Super friendly staff!

The food was very tasty! But what stood out was the staff! If they even see that you want to order something where there happens to be no one (behind the bar or something) they immediately take action! The staff is friendly, ready for a chat, continuously takes away your dirty dishes and really makes it a well-cared for evening.

Special. Very good quality, many different snacks to choose from, nice beer on tap and a cigarette on the terrace with a drink are also possible. Furthermore, respect for the chefs who really do top sport to serve everyone and everything, real team play. Delicious food, and do they like spicy?, ask for their own made sambal in oil.......

Today 1st Pentecost day eaten here. The meat was really great! Price quality is here well in proportion. Drinks and desserts also fine. I also found the table arrangement good not too close together and they take the company into account.

I am not a big fan of this kind of eateries, but an all-in formula including drinks. Great location, good food, friendly staff, clean and more than enough choice. Go eat here sometime. I was pleasantly surprised in any case

Had a fairly early reservation 17:30. When we started eating it seemed like all the dishes had been under the heat lamps for an hour. They were lukewarm and the meat was dry and hard. The scallops tasted like warm water and the sushi only like rice. Everything that was freshly prepared was completely fried to pieces and therefore dry. At least the desserts were tasty. We will not come back here again.

We have been coming to Het Genoegen for many years now, always good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. However, last Christmas we regretted that the food was mediocre for the first time. O.a. The Foe yong hai and salads had little flavor, the sauce on the beans tasted somewhat chemical and the herb butter tasted mostly like butter. This trip, the quality and price were not in proportion to the expectations we normally have of this Wok Restaurant.

It felt a bit cramped, but also cozy. Only when it got busier, especially the food court was too busy. In a number of dishes that had already been prepared, the meat was dry and sometimes simply hard! Unfortunately no white rice, which is a shame. We expected more.

Nicely renovated. The area where you can have your meat/fish prepared is unclear and the space is very cramped.

The service from the staff was good. There's nothing to say about that. But we were disappointed with the food. Pretty lame. There was little taste in the food. And they threw everything out in the toilet at night.

The food was fine, but we found the acoustics bad. There was a lot of noise from the other guests. We found that very disturbing.

What a friendly welcome upon entering, the owner suspected, but we were really and sincerely welcomed. That is sometimes different at a world restaurant. Everything is very neat and clean, which is of course very pleasant. The restaurant is not very large, so certainly not a "food barn", but a nice restaurant. Due to the limited space it could look a bit cramped, but if the customers were more considerate of each other (read: walk on the right, don't walk 4 abreast and certainly don't let small children play while eating). There is a nice, fun space for the children, but I didn't use it myself ;) Furthermore, very tasty dishes, friendly chefs and service that often comes by to remove glasses and plates from the table, really super neat. Large space, few staff. If it is not too busy then it will work, if it is busy you will have to wait a long time at the grill or griddle. Shusi is tasty.

Very friendly staff! It is mainly up to you whether you eat well; you have to choose well yourself. What I chose was always good and fresh. This was our second time at Het Genoegen, because our daughter likes it so much. I really enjoyed it both times 😉.

I definitely recommend it and will come there more often, friendly staff, they think about everything. It was great that we were in a quiet place with a 4-month-old baby. Food is good and perfectly prepared. Wide range. In short, great!

A place from the category, you pay and eat as much as you want. Tasty dishes. Everyone will find something for themselves. The problem is that the staff takes too many orders at once. Confusion arises. Our order was completed in 5 minutes. My friends waited for about twenty minutes because they were forgotten about in the rush of orders.

Wij komen al heel wat jaartjes met veel plezier bij Het Genoegen, altijd lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel en een fijne ambiance. Echter afgelopen kerst vonden wij het eten tot onze spijt voor het eerst middelmatig. O.a. De Foe yong hai en salades hadden weinig smaak, de saus op de boontjes proefde enigszins chemisch en de kruidenboter smaakte merendeels naar boter. Deze reis stond de kwaliteit en de prijs niet tot verhouding met de verwachtingen die wij normaliter hebben van dit Wok Restaurant. Het had meer weg van supermarkt eten dat weliswaar mooi was gepresenteerd.

Actually just a bit too busy around the holidays. Staff doesn't explain anything, doesn't ask if you are familiar, points to the table and walks away immediately.

Today we had dinner on Christmas Day.. Very busy, actually way too busy...lines to get food, people complained, it was too busy, it's better to go when there are no public holidays.. It was way too busy so you didn't eat much on days like that In addition, between meals you have to ask if you want to pay...I found this very annoying. We used to come there often but now I won't go so quickly anymore

Onlangs is de boel verbouwd en dat was inderdaad wel nodig. De kinderhoek wat gevaarlijk hingen de stopcontacten los! De kinderhoek is nog niks er staat een voetbal spel en dat was het! Tijdens de koffie ronden moest er in eens een tafel bij onze groep veranderd worden. Waarom wachten ze niet dat je gewoon weg bent. Erg onprettig en wij kregen alleen maar de opmerking even mee werken want er stonden mensen te wachten. Nee wij waren met een groep van 13 personen en waren nog niet klaar. Al met al een zeer onprettige niet klantvriendelijke manier van werken!
