Friendly staff and ok food and nice decoration

Delicious soups. Cozy terrace in the summer. Heated terrace in the winter.

Quickly popped in for something to eat. The schnitzel was good, but the portion was on the small side. Service was smooth.

What an unfriendly waitress! Five of us had a round of coffee and pastries, then two of us had drinks and immediately paid. The other three of us wanted to order and pay later. She asked if we'd paid yet, indicating that the previous order had already been paid. The woman didn't believe us and asked us, via the postage stamp we were sitting with, if we'd actually paid. She hadn't been particularly friendly before either. Very unprofessional and unfriendly!!! A rather grumpy attitude and face. Apparently, we were then seated at a terrace belonging to the owner, and she really wanted to show us she was still there, so she came over with a Smilde. Disgusting!

Extremely rude staff!!! I would find a different terrace!! We told them the two people already seated had paid, and a blonde woman, who was already grumpy, asked via a phone at the table where we were sitting if that was correct. Very rude and unprofessional!!

What a great restaurant! A lovely conversation with the owner. The food is fantastic.

We had a great cake and coffee. The waiter was very unfriendly. He had no patience and found it a real hassle to name the pies and explain the flavors to us non-Limburgers. Perhaps a hangover from yesterday? The owner was also around, and he was very kind, by the way, and kept petting our little one (in a nice way).

Sat on the terrace at the Munsterhof for a delicious lunch. I had the chicken pie and for a moment I felt like I was back at my mother's table.😋 So good, filling, and seasoned with flavor! Great service, everything flowed smoothly. We'll definitely be back soon!

Lovely terrace on a charming square in Roermond 🌞🍷. We enjoyed the sun and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful 🙌, and were happy to take a moment for a chat 💬😊. An added bonus: our Frenkie 🐶💛 also felt completely welcome – super dog-friendly! 🐾 Highly recommended for anyone in Roermond looking for a nice spot to enjoy a drink in the sun 🌟🍻. We come here almost every Saturday for a drink and/or a meal. It might be an option to make half of the terrace non-smoking and the other half smoking. We were eating, and everyone was smoking from left and right. Such a shame.

Quite an extensive menu with sandwiches, pasta dishes, meats, fish and a whole range of snacks with also breakfast, soup and salad meal options. The + is a very nice terrace on a very pleasant little square. Fresh products and careful presentation but nothing more. To make a balanced dish I added a Greek salad to my chicken and in the end I did well because there was not even a small salad served with it.

Pasta is a fairly small portion, definitely not a dinner portion.

We hebben hier wat gedronken en gegeten op het terras. Bediening was prima in orde en het terras werd keurig netjes gehouden. We hebben een tapasplank besteld, waarop allerlei lekkers geserveerd werd, zoals vlammetjes, brie, loempiaatjes, kaasblokjes, chorizo, ham en olijfjes. Helaas werd de eetlust aardig getemperd door het aantal vliegen dat probeerde de hapjes te verpesten. Het aantal wespen dat ons belaagde viel gelukkig mee ...

We ate here a few weeks ago, sitting on the terrace. The menu literally listed a pork tenderloin with a choice of sauce, and that was spot on. The very small pork tenderloin had been thawed and then fried, so it was incredibly hard and dry. The meager fries they serve with it are gone quickly, along with the dollop of mayonnaise you get. They charge €26.50 for this dish, which is ridiculously expensive for what you get. My wife had fish & chips for €20, which was essentially just a bit of kibbeling (fried fish) with a small side of fries. The waitress was friendly in her own way, but it was clear she wasn't interested. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant...

19 years with this Restaurant owner Munsterhof Bonje. The son has taken over everything, is a very antisocial man, in my context.

Nice place for coffee and cake, but while I was there, my debit card was stolen and someone tried to fraudulently withdraw money from my account – using the restaurant's name as the payee. So be careful. I won't be going there again. Because I noticed it quickly, the criminal won't get a cent from my account. Please always keep an eye on your valuables.

One of the best waffles we've had 😁 I highly recommend the goulash soup. I'd love to come back and try the menu. The hot chocolate with whipped cream is the highlight 😉

Food was quite ok, but the table smelled due to the use of a rag that had clearly not been rinsed for some time. Not fun trying to enjoy your food when the smell of the table comes through. Update: 2 people were ill a few hours afterwards (vomiting, intestinal problems)

Prachtige plek, mooi terras. Bestelde een maaltijdsalade halverwege komt de ober langs of het smaakt. Ik geef aan dat ik de hoeveelheid echt klein is en dat er wel heel veel saus door zit. Hij geeft aan dat de hoeveelheid bla bla bijv voor een klein vrouwtje veel is enz. Na de maaltijd geeft hij aan dat de kok inderdaad uitgeschoten was met de saus... verder niets..

It is a wonderful restaurant on the beautiful Munsterplein in Roermond with a beautiful terrace outside and a cozy interior. The owners work very hard, I often see them busy early in the morning. They are very flexible and are happy to think along with you if you want to come with a larger group. The staff is always very friendly, especially for people with disabilities. It doesn't matter, everyone is welcome. The coffee with pie and the food are excellent. My favorite place in Roermond!

Gisterenavond met zijn 3en gedineerd. Alle 3 een varkenshaasje . Hiervan waren er 2 heel erg taai in plaats van goed mals. Ter compensatie werden 2,glazen rode wijn niet in rekening gebracht. De dame blanche ( ik met chocola) die bij de buren werd opgehaald was daarentegen super lekker!

Ordered pea soup, unfortunately it is gone. Okay then just add 2 apple juice. Suddenly there was Pea soup. Took a very long time. The Pea Soup came and was very watery and tasted that way too. (Cup a soup has more taste) When I was asked if it tasted good, I indicated this. Oh, I'll pass it on. Then someone else was sent to pay. My last time here

Soep werd lauw geserveerd. Boter voor stokbroodje niet smeerbaar. Hoofdgerecht een pannekoek met sliertjes varkensvlees. Geen smaak, niet opgegeten. Mijn vrouw zelfde mening. Bovendien ook weer niet echt warm Toen ik bediener een tip gaf, geef een gratis kopje koffie voor goodwill. Hadden daar geen behoefte aan. Geen gevoel voor klantvriendelijkheid. Beetje vervallen sfeer binnen. Tip zoek een beter restaurant.

The food (lasagna with salad and flamkuchen) was delicious. Service was OK. Waiting time limited. There was a sour smell (from the pillows?)

Ordered the omelet with bread and it was okay. Nothing special. I had a smoothie as well and it was terribly mixed and too sweet (too much strawberry syrup. On the other hand, the staff was friendly and we had live music on a Tuesday afternoon! We had a great time here.

centraal gelegen met erg groot terras ook aan de overzijde van de straat eten smaakte goed en het meeste personeel was erg vriendelijk tijdens stortbui werd de zijkant van het terras dicht gemaakt en de overkapping verder dicht geschoven wat erg fijn was

Really good restaurant on Munsterplein.

Een hele prettige plek om iets te eten en/of te drinken. Als vegetariërs hebben wij heerlijke asperges gegeten, er was wel wat keuze voor ons, fijn! Ondanks de drukte heeft men ons vriendelijk en vlot geholpen, dat vind ik bijzonder!

Altijd als we in Roermond zijn gaan we daar eten, zo'n ontzettend aardig personeel en heerlijk eten

Ze hebben een groot terras op het Munsterplein. De tafels staan stevig en zijn niet wankel, wat een kunst is op de kinderkopjes. De tafels staan ruim genoeg uit elkaar zodat je er makkelijk langs kan lopen en niet meteen bij de buren op de schoot zit. Het geserveerde eten zag er goed uit. Wij hebben voor de lunch een stokbroodje en een hamburger genuttigd, het vlees van hamburger is matig, te hoog geprijsd voor die kwaliteit. Bij die hamburger een kleine portie friet besteld: € 4,75 ??!! -☹ Aangegeven dat de hamburger zwaar tegenviel, men zou dit doorgeven aan de keuken, helaas niks meer over gehoord, men doet er niks mee, jammer. Bediening is verder wel vriendelijk en snel.

Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Kaart is niet heel spannend, maar t broodje was prima. Uitzicht over t Munsterplein. Schoon sanitair.

Essen sehr lecker. Regionale Gerichte. Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Kommen wieder.

Heb genoten van een heerlijke tosti Hawaï met koffie en cappuccino. Vriendelijk personeel en goede service.

Het restaurant ligt bij het munsterplein waar altijd iets te doen is. Dat vind ik fijn, je hoort ook vaak de fanfare spelen. Ik had carpaccio.Ik vond het lekker, de saus was goed, maar de carpaccio was nog bevroren. Dus daarom geef ik het 3 sterren.

Freundlicher Service und schön angerichtete Speisen. Die Zutaten des Burgers und das Brötchen waren lecker und kross. Aber der Burgerpatty war der Schlechteste, den ich bisher gegessen habe, hart und sogar knorpelig.

Een drankje gedronken op het terras. Voor het eerst met de hond, zonder dat we er nog om gevraagd hadden bracht de dame van de bediening drinken voor hem. Dat is voor ons echt van onschatbare waarde dat ook de hond zo goed verzorgt werd.

Wir konnten am Abend leider nichts mehr essen. Wurden aber sehr freundlich darauf hingewiesen und uns wurden sofort Alternativen empfohlen.

Koffie is lekker de bediening heel vlot en aardig, maar mijn stukje rijstevlaai oud... bah !

Als we in Roermond komen gaan we altijd daar naar toe komen we al meer dan 20 tig jaar

Schönes, gemütliches Gasthaus mit einfacher Speisekarte. Bei Sonnenwetter schön gemütlich draußen sitzen, ein Bier oder einen Kaffee genießen… Bedienung ist flott und höflich.
