Cozy, nice home feeling and also delicious food, friendly service

We were led inside by a group of smokers; even inside, the smell of smoke hung in the air. Even though it wasn't busy, it took a long time before we could order.

Brilliant, friendly bar. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Had a nice evening. Due to the birthday, the music was a bit loud. It's more of a traditional Dutch café than a restaurant. The meat was a bit dark, unfortunately.

Average diner with a billiard table and bartenders. Excellent service and plenty of choice on the menu.

Had lunch on Monday. The sandwiches were deliciously fresh and well-filled. It was my first time here, but I'll definitely be back.

Had coffee on the terrace yesterday. Too bad the staff was very pushy. Asking 4 times if someone wants to order something in less than an hour is not exactly hospitable. After asking the 4th time we left.

The chicken satay and spareribs are really super tasty!! Good prices, nice service and good location. In short: recommended!

It was very nice here. The manager was very accommodating, and the two girls who brought us drinks were very sweet and friendly—you could really fall in love with them both.

Not so good. The chair had food residue on it. The croquettes were dry and falling apart. I think the decor was supposed to resemble that of an Amsterdam café, but why? We won't come here again

The best restaurant I've ever been to) There are toilets; Huge hall; And a pool table. Everything is festive in garlands. The order is delivered very quickly, up to 10 minutes. 👌🫶💞

We arrived without a reservation and luckily there was room. Delicious food. A bread board as an appetizer. Tasty. Chicken satay and round steak as main courses. Recommendations.

Were here on a very cold day. Delicious bitterballen for the first time in years.

Feels like family and they treat you that way too. Everyone is equal and nothing surprises them anymore. Also a good pub for a nice beer or spirits. Bitterball or spareribs. In short, my pub.

Nice place to have something to eat. Never been there before, even though I drive past it regularly. Nice Amsterdam atmosphere and you immediately feel at home when the hostess starts talking. She thinks along with you, makes a joke and is very quick to serve. The menu is not too extensive but not too small, there is plenty of choice and dishes. I had the spare ribs and they were divine. Meat fell off the bone, it was that tender. Portions were just right, with a well-filled stomach I am satisfied with Het Steegje! And the price is average, all very affordable. Definitely recommended!

Really cool sports bar with pool inside as well. Huge terrace super nice for the sunny days. I am obsessed with the goat cheese salad, everytime i come i have to order it. So good!! The service is always outstanding and they always make you feel welcome. Really open to foreigners :) top place!

This is a great place to have a party. We have done this several times for birthdays. The mussel evening was also well organized and delicious. Hopefully animal will be back soon!

Café Het Steegje in Almere has two "vegan" dishes on the menu, but that does not seem to be the case (see photo; cheese is made from animal products and therefore not vegan). When the café is asked about this, the following very rude response comes back (yes, really... it clearly says vegan in the screenshot) (note the childish ending to their response): "Dear world improver, I have no idea where you got the idea, and the time, to realize that the V stands for Vegan For us it stands for VEGETARIAN. Our guests are aware of this. Perhaps you should contact Greta Thunberg and fight this world problem together before World War III breaks out. Have a nice day. Gr.Vl.eesje"

Waren met z'n zessen,enkele maaltijden waren niet warm .

Lekker terras. Er is niet veel in het dorp om even buiten te zitten en wat te eten en drinken, daarom erg prettig hier. Aangepast menu ivm mijn eetwijze (pescotariër dus geen vlees en ik eet ook geen suikers), doen ze niet moeilijk over.

Hier vandaag voor de 2e keer gegeten en het is een aanrader. Vriendelijk personeel en goede kwaliteit voor een prima prijs. Een van de weinige parels van Almere Buiten.

Lekker in t zonnetje gezeten. Veel betere locatie dan naast de bieb. Was wel even wachten voordat iemand de bestelling kwam opnemen. Maar vriendelijke mensen en goede bediening.
