A gem in Huizen. A really lovely family runs this restaurant together. A son and daughter serve, the mother makes the sushi, and the father the teppanyaki. Delicious, fresh food!

I would never have guessed from the location and exterior that this is such a good Japanese restaurant. Having been to Japan myself, I’m quite critical about what constitutes real Japanese flavors, but the food here is truly authentic and very tasty. The dining area is small, but the seating is comfortable, and the staff are very friendly.

Delicious, well-filled tuna poke bowl and gyoza. Highly recommended!!

I was here to pick up a poke bowl. The restaurant was pleasantly full. While I waited, I enjoyed watching the chef's cooking. I saw delicious dishes being served. The poke bowl was delicious, by the way, with two extra spring rolls on the house.

A lovely spot near Huizen beach. And the food is delicious, prepared with love and passion by the chef. Everything is freshly prepared for you, and you can taste it in the dishes.

The food here is truly excellent! If you're in the area and love sushi, please stop by. The hostess was friendly, and the chef even checked on us a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. This is highly recommended! Be sure to try the vegetarian futo maki and the flambéed cheese and salmon maki.

Sushi takeaway. Had not ordered in advance so had to wait a while to get there. But the sushi was great! Definitely worth the wait. We had gotten 25 pieces of sushi and that was more than enough for 3 people. Good (fresh and sufficient) filling and not just with rice👍. We will definitely come back here.

Very nice and last minute dinner here on Christmas Eve. I really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi I ordered. The service was really remarkably friendly and genuine. A waitress came to chat about my allergy and made an effort to suggest other (gluten-free) dishes. We also received a Christmas card. Very thoughtful! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wow, wat hebben we hier heerlijk gegeten. Maalse biefstuk en inktvis van de teppan. Verse smaakvolle sushi. Wel wat lang wachten, maar het eten is de moeite waard. Wij zijn echte food liefhebbers en keuren vaak etentjes. Japanse kok kan goed teppanyakken. Ruimte restaurant was wel klein en niet sfeervol, maar eten was goed. In Japan zijn restaurants ook niet sfeervol, maar gaat het om goede kwaliteit eten. Helaas mag afzuigsysteem wat hoger omdat wij na afloop onze kleding en haren naar eten rook. Prijs kaart was goed en niet duur.

Heerlijk gegeten. Teppanyaki gerechten (mosselen en tongfilet) direct op de hete plaat bereid door de vrolijke kok. Zeer smakelijke gebakken rijst en extra groentes er bij. Prima Chardonnay erbij. Vriendelijk personeel dat tijd maakt voor een praatje. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is prima in orde. Komen zeker vaker terug!

Best sushi I’ve tried in the Netherlands! All the ingredients are super fresh. I would recommend to try Flamed Rib Eye maki. This was a very unusual dish, but turned to be very delicious! Miso soep was also high quality and tasty. The owners were very welcoming. Overall atmosphere - like coming to a friend’s house. You can also order for takeaway, if you wish.

Het eten is uitstekend en zeer smaakvol. De bediening is erg vriendelijk. Jammer dat het restaurant in een hoekje is weggedrukt en dat de aankleding de gezelligheid mist. Het heeft niet de uitstraling die het verdient en dat is jammer.

We komen eigenlijk al jaren in Hokkaido maar vergeten steeds een beoordeling te schrijven. Maar nu komt het er dan eindelijk van. Er is tegenwoordig niet zoveel mis met afhaal sushi maar als je echt lekkere sushi wilt eten, bereid door een goede kok dan zit je bij Hokkaido echt goed. Bovendien word je heel vriendelijke bediend en is de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding supergoed. Kortom een aanrader!

We hadden gereserveerd en moesten bijna uur wachten omdat men met afhandelen bestellingen bezig was. De sashimi- en sushi- maaltijd was vervolgens een enorme teleurstelling.. ondanks goede vis...het gerecht oogde slordig en afgeraffeld. En hoewel een variëteit van sushi bleek uit 4 sushi's te bestaan die erg op elkaar leken. We kwamen er vroeger regelmatig en hadden goede herinneringen. Nu ga ik echt nadenken of ik nog ooit ga..

Verbazend goed. Zit er al heel lang en de kwaliteit is altijd top. Ziet er misschien niet waanzinnig uit door de locatie, maar niks is minder waar. Gewoon echt een goeie Japanner!

Heerlijk gegeten. Een klein restaurant met sfeer. Alle gerechten die we hebben besteld smaakte lekker. Wij hebben diverse losse gerechten besteld, maar je kan ook menu's bestellen. De kwaliteit ten opzichte van bijvoorbeeld een 'all you can eat' sushi is duidelijk beter.
