The food offers an extensive selection, as well as good quality and taste. There is ample seating and actual space at the tables, so you aren't crammed together, which is sometimes the case at a buffet or international cuisine restaurant. The decor and atmosphere might be a bit simple, but for me, this is neither an added value nor a turn-off. The play basement is a nice idea, but it is unmaintained and completely out of sight. The location and lack of maintenance make it unpleasant for me as a parent to think that my children will be playing there completely out of sight. So, the price-quality ratio is fine in terms of food and drink. However, there is still room for improvement regarding the infrastructure, especially for children.

There is a wide variety of food to choose from, including sushi, different types of grilled meat, fried and baked dishes, vegetables, fruit, desserts, and various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The food was fresh and tasty, and we had no complaints at all. There is also a children's play area, but I didn't visit it, so I can't really comment on it. Overall, I have a very positive impression of the restaurant, and we have already visited several times. You can make a reservation for 2.5 hours, with the option to pay extra for an additional 30 minutes. Personally, I would also appreciate the option to make a reservation for a shorter period of time. Overall, I am happy to give this restaurant a positive review.

Great place to go out for dinner with loved ones; we have been celebrating my in-laws' birthdays there for years. Top-notch. The only thing is the playground in the basement for the kids needs to be renovated, as it looks like something out of a horror movie.

A nice place! We arrived less than an hour and 45 minutes before closing time. When you buy the meal, I believe you have 2.5 hours to eat. The lady who greeted us was very nice, making sure we were okay with the short time. They have a wide selection of food, ranging from seafood to pizza. They have ice cream, chocolate fountains, and more. Multiple drinks are available as well, including soda and alcoholic beverages. The restaurant is clean and well maintained! Some staff didn’t seem very happy and did not smile. Other than that, everything was great. Thank you for the great meal! I would defiantly recommend this place, especially for people who like seafood and asian food.

Very tasty food, super atmosphere

I went there a few months ago with a friend and it was super tasty. They even have steamed gyozas, really good! The atmosphere is the same as always, a bit lacking in detail, which could be much better. Less bright lighting and more decoration, for example. The food is at its best in years, with many types of sushi and more than enough choice otherwise. You can have the chefs wok or cook on the griddle. Choose your ingredients and your sauce and it gets made for you in no time with live cooking 👍 perfect! I would definitely go back, and preferably via a Social Deal.

Way too expensive. Limited choice. Free-bake pizzas, Chinese food, salad, sushi, and desserts. Not comparable at all to Food Explore Utrecht, but the prices are the same. The food is really substandard for the price. We were done within 45 minutes.

The food is exquisite, everything is deliciously fresh. There is a wide variety of choices, also for children. Beer, soft drinks, and coffee/tea are free and self-service.

Our favorite restaurant was closed, so we had to look for an alternative. This time, it was a world restaurant where you can get every flavor imaginable. Service and clearing tables were quick. The food was like it often is in a world restaurant: you know what you're getting. Plenty of choice, though the chef's attention is just not quite there. We did enjoy ourselves.

Called to report that 7 out of 8 people got sick. The one who didn't get sick didn't eat sushi. We were assisted by someone who spoke very poor Dutch and who fobbed us off with nonsense stories. Very unfortunate, because the previous 2 times were fine. That's not how you treat customers in the Netherlands. We are going to ABC in Sevenum tomorrow, July 5, 2026.

Many extensive buffets. The chairs and tables were quite worn out. Broken chairs and duct tape on the edges of the tables. A cook in sweatpants was standing behind the BBQ. The staff was generally friendly. The Babi Pangang was lukewarm. In the toilet, the floor was so greasy that I almost slipped. Otherwise, the food was reasonable. And the drinks were fine. So the food was good, but a bit messy for a restaurant. What I found strange was that at the end of the evening, they started setting tables for the next day and the floor was not cleaned.

Salmon was dry when fried on a plate, both meat and fish.

Really bad; they were already clearing everything away well before the time was up, all the containers were empty. Nothing fresh was being made after half past eight. The owner and the staff looked gloomy, not cheerful. The staff were putting forks into the containers; you could hear it throughout the whole place, so ridiculous. And behind the bar, they were also tipping everything over into a large bin, which shocked us. When getting dessert, we even had to ask for the creatures if we were allowed to use them. Not worth repeating for us.

Around 6:30 PM .. 2.5 hours of eating and drinking. Everything was gone or rock hard and no longer tasty. They just threw things together haphazardly on the BBQ and griddle. The food was inedible, overcooked. The only thing that was somewhat okay was the wok. Desserts... most of the cupcakes and mini pancakes could have been thrown out the window. The chocolate fondue was already being turned off and cleaned.

Food fine, not much else for a simple, meh all-you-can-eat restaurant. The prices and VAT, however, are outrageous. For example, they charge the same as at ABC, where there is obviously much more choice. But I was really shocked by the children's "play" basement. Doors without locks, one door that is even left open giving children access to (see photos). Cleaning products, a cold storage room, and more. And very dirty, moldy wooden shelves against the wall.

OH MY GOODNESS. This restaurant is amazing. We had ventured out from the centre parcs in limburg to try local quality food. We have a similar establishment back in the UK called Cosmo. However after handing 97 euro over we were seated and walking around the bountiful offerings within minutes. Included is all you can eat and drink within 2 1/2 hours. The boy had smoothies, whilst we had wine and larger to start.

I had problem with the food. The sushi was nit fresh, the fruits had not taste. The idea is amazing, but the food must follow the idea to fulfill the expectations.

It was a nice dinner out with family. The food was good value for money. There was a chef who knew his craft, the other just cooked quickly. That's why 3 stars.

First of all, food is quite delicious, however the people there are not educated enough on how to cook. You can’t cook salmon and scallops the same time. Different products require different cooking time. And the personnel is very very rude. None of them speak English and the service is quite bad. With all due respect, it is not my fault that you choose to work this job and you have to work on holidays and days which usually other jobs and industries have off. You are supposed to put on a smile, even though a fake one. Overall, good food and drinks but very rude and unprofessional personnel.

asked the staff whether the meat was halal, and they assured me that it was. However, I was disappointed to see that my fish and beef were being cooked right next to pork, even though I had politely requested that this should not happen. The chef seemed to ignore this request and continued doing it anyway. Even when there were only people eating fish, the fish was still cooked alongside meat and bacon. This is something that really needs to be taken into serious consideration. Aside from this issue, the food itself was tasty. However, I did not see any halal certification displayed anywhere, which makes me question whether the food is truly halal, despite what the staff claimed.

Had a delicious meal for a very good price. We will be back soon when we are in the area. It is great that you can pick your own meat and fish for grilling on the griddle.

I've discovered that most dishes labeled halal are mixed with other meats, so unfortunately, they're not halal. Unless they separate one or more pans labeled halal, they're not.

Shrimp that hadn't been cleaned (deveined)? You confronted a staff member, who told you to leave it. Then another staff member came over and said you might be charged if you didn't finish your food. Surprised, I replied that I wouldn't eat it because the shrimp hadn't been cleaned. To my surprise, the shrimp remained and weren't removed. I then spoke to the woman who helped us to our table. She said she was in charge. I explained this to her. My surprise grew even greater when this woman started arguing with me that the shrimp didn't need to be deveined 😱... I cut the discussion short because it was pointless... Apparently, this wasn't enough for her, because she came back to our table again later to explain that it wasn't their responsibility, but the producer's. I said: "It wasn't done by the manufacturer, so you should remove it so others don't eat shrimp." She then said it might be just one shrimp. That really wasn't the case, but she kept arguing. It's quite strange that someone wants to argue while you're showing it. It's a shame they don't take the customer seriously here. Besides, all the food that wasn't prepared immediately was already cold. We'll definitely never come back here!

The food wasn't bad, but the lady at reception was very unfriendly. They had self-service beer taps, but the instructions were only in Dutch. I tried to pour myself a glass of beer, and it spilled all over the top. The lady at reception then yelled at me. So I'm never going back there; the way she treats customers is unacceptable.

I'm very disappointed. The place is open from 4-10 p.m. I was there on Sunday with my partner, just after 7 p.m. There was no fruit left and the remaining desserts were meager. There wasn't even orange juice. The buffet was quite poor. The biggest downside is that no one spoke English. The worst thing that happened to us was when we asked if they had halal meat. One of the cooks took us there and told us three times that everything on the counter was halal. He's Muslim and has never eaten pork in his life; he can eat any other meat, but it's halal. He helped himself to a piece of meat and wasn't entirely sure if it was beef. We managed to find a waitress who spoke English, and she said that all the meat they had was halal. After a while, however, she wasn't so sure and took a piece of meat, which he liked, and took it to the cook. When she came back, she said it was pork. Bravo to the staff, who have absolutely no idea what they're serving. We asked several chefs and waitresses.

Much of the food that came off the baking sheet was still raw, and the salads tasted sour. This also made my appetite go away. What was really delicious was my bottle of Royal Club Cassis, but you can't really go wrong with that. All in all, this will be an evening spent sitting on the toilet instead of relaxing on the couch.

We ended up here through a social deal with my partner and two kids under three. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a woman who was completely unenthusiastic. We were led to our table with our coats still on, and she didn't say anything else. Apparently, the cloakroom was at the entrance... The food was excellent, with plenty of variety. We especially enjoyed the sushi and the wok. They also have a really nice buffet. Downstairs, there was a children's play area that really needs a makeover. I didn't let my kids play there. The staff working the wok, griddle, and grill weren't very enthusiastic either. Such a shame! Because it really ruined the experience... We'll eat somewhere else next time.

You wouldn't expect such a large eatery in Horst. But there it is: Horst World Kitchen. And as is fitting for this concept, they offer a huge selection of food from all corners of the globe. But what's also part of this concept is that almost nothing is truly good. But you know that when you choose this. You could say the same about running children and slipping on two prawns that fell from the plate of the gentleman in front of me. Apparently, 41 prawns was a bit too much to transport to his table... But that's part of the deal. A steak that's supposed to end up grilled on your plate isn't grilled at all, but downright mistreated on the grill. The chef doesn't care... another 721 pieces of meat and we can go home... he beams. The wasabi with the sushi seems to have been purchased in guilders. It's nice that drinks are included in the price. Because you really need that to combat the excess salt. So why four stars? Simple, you just can't expect too much. If you choose this concept, you're choosing to spend two hours attacking buffets and going home with a full stomach, and you're also choosing all the criticisms mentioned above. Regardless of all the criticisms, there's definitely something delicious for everyone here and there. Clearing the table is always a breeze. Horst World Kitchen fully meets expectations in every way. Four stars.

What a bad food place I have never experienced this before what bad unfriendly staff the food was inedible ba ba and it stinks

Sushi, delicious, wok, tasty but somewhat bland sauces, desserts and appetizers, excellent. Griddle, mediocre. Lots of fat on the meat and often very rubbery. All in all, always delicious food here.

The children's area needs renovation; there's a lot of mold and it's very dirty. The restaurant area is pretty good, but there, too, could use some work.

This is a truly world-class restaurant. The food is excellent. The quality is top-notch. The staff could be a bit friendlier, but otherwise... highly recommended.

Love the varieties of food they got here. Been here every time I visited this area with my daughter. Love their fresh seafood offers and sashimis.

We went there yesterday with 11 people. Sushi lovers will be in their element here. The food was mediocre, lukewarm, and not very tasty. The steak was a real pain to chew. Way too expensive for all that. We arrived at 7:30 PM and were supposed to stay until 10:00 PM. Because the chefs stopped working at 9:00 PM, we decided to leave. The ice cream was good, though. We won't be back again.

We're back for the fourth time now. The price-quality ratio is excellent. We've eaten oysters at every restaurant, and they're always fresh. After so much food, chocolate profiteroles are a crime, but they are delicious.

We went there for a team building and enjoyed it a lot. You get to choose from a lot of different kitchens. Their sushi is amazing, you definitely need to try.

Excellent food for a reasonable price

We were there for a larger family celebration. Well, first of all, the parking lot is really big, but we were still lucky to get a spot. The buffet was a bit confusing, at least for us. There are different topics there, each arranged in different places. So you had the typical Frituur selection including pizza at one point and the most common Asian buffet items at another point. However, it was really clear what there was to choose from, a bit sparse. There was also a larger area with fresh meat and vegetables that you could have roasted on site, I know this as a Mongolian grill. Unfortunately I can't say much about that - there was a constant queue in front of it, which put us off a bit. Then there was an extremely extensive range of desserts, visually reminiscent of a patisserie, ice cream to tap and slush ice cream, as well as a chocolate fountain. The food was delicious, but I had something like a burn for about 2 days afterwards, i.e. a feeling of constant thirst and an unpleasant feeling in my mouth, but only after the stay. During this time I was very little thirsty, although that wouldn't have been a problem because of the flat rate for drinks. There is also a play area, but I was surprised that it goes down a long staircase into the basement, so you can't let very small children play there in a relaxed manner within sight, and you can't hear if something is there. So overall you can make a visit like this, it's delicious, but for people with more sensitive reactions to seasoning and selection (i.e. there were fatally few vegetables! Not for vegetarians or vegans) it may not be the same positive experience as for other.

The food is good and there is a lot of choice. It's funny that there are robots driving around that come to pick up the dirty plates. I will definitely come back there again. Price is okay I think 33 euros for 2.5 hours of unlimited food and unlimited soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee and tea Unfortunately, the limited parking space is a downside

Eating today Food was fine, but there was a problem, we had to wait 20 minutes to 30 minutes before we could finally enter. The service employee was very rude and did not speak to us properly The service and friendliness could be a little better, otherwise there will be guests who will no longer come

Great food, everyone can choose something for themselves, shrimp, crème brûlée, and dumplings are the best for me ♥️ the robot that collects the dishes adds to the atmosphere. A plus for wheelchair access. One star is deducted for the service - when there are few guests, they take away the dishes all the time and not everyone is polite. And the price for children is a bit high.

We come here once or twice a year and we always enjoy it! Staff are friendly and work hard. Tables are closely monitored and empty plates are removed quickly. The food & drinks are so extensive that you can enjoy it with any group. Despite the super large range, everything is of good and tasty quality! Sometimes it is a bit busy and you may have to wait a little longer for the wok and/or grill, but we personally do not find this disturbing. All in all, worth eating once.

It was not tasty, the food looked good but was not that tasty, the smoke and the hiegyne were hard to find, at the back of the kitchen you could see the cigarettes where they were heating up the Aldi pizza, nothing to the disadvantage of the colleagues at the service that was friendly, unfortunately not twice for us!

Wonderful all you can eat and drink restaurant. A large space and a lot of exercise because you have to get your own food and drinks.

Ate here last Saturday with 4 adults. I contacted in advance to see if it was possible to eat gluten-free here and was pleasantly surprised with a large allergy list that included many dishes that were possible for me. However, after asking again whether the Soy Sauce that was supposed to be gluten-free according to their list, it turned out to be really gluten-free. Also at all the meat and fish stations where I could eat according to their list, soy sauce was thrown over everything (even after asking the chef if they did not want to do this). Unfortunately, very disappointed, we will not be returning here.

Honest how we experienced it. She was overly friendly, not polite. The boy who came to pick up things was also friendly. So fine for us. Plenty of food choice. Chinese nasi noodles not that great, the sushi was fine. Very special and delicious personally, not really. It's just a bit too crowded here. There are better restaurants. The best is the Chinese in Beringe. Pick up only but really good.

We had a nice meal but we were quite early (5:00 PM). We indicated this because the food was not really warm. The response was ohh okay and that was it. The dining area is beautiful but the tables and chairs really need to be replaced.

You can try everything at a good price. Enough time to eat well and talk with friends, spacious place, very good service. We will definitely come back and recommend.

Everything looked good and was tasty. 4 types of soup, cold dishes, hot dishes, wok, baking tray and lots of dessert choices. Drinks are included in the price, and plenty of choice too. The downside was the ice cold plates. This caused the food to cool down quickly. The playing part is really not good. Dirty, moldy, broken, and freezing cold room. We didn't let our daughter play here, it was really too unsafe. This is why 3 stars instead of 5.

Had a wonderful meal here to end the holiday. The negative reviews surprise me. It has good food and nice staff. It is what we expected and more. There were some dishes that were rotting. That was because hardly any of it was caught. Then it can dry out a bit under the heat lamp. Everything else is neat and cool. It is neatly prepared in front of you. Everything is well replenished, but not too much so that the products do not remain lying around for too long. As far as we are concerned, a successful evening.

I thought the quality of the food was absolutely fine, the range was very wide, and the service was good. The atmosphere gives the result 4 stars instead of 5. Personally, I don't find it pleasant with so many people in such a large space.

World kitchen is the worst kitchen. I'm here right now there is no directions where you need to go in side. I wanna check what they have and one person say to me no no here then other one took my plate I didn't know what was happening I just wanna check what they have and just choose what can I eat I didn't finish and I left whole plate there.

We thought this was a crappy restaurant. Not received hospitably. Uncomfortable, looks like fluorescent lighting. Food not tasty either. Griddle is served with raw garlic, never experienced this before. Grill has 1 marinade for everything. Ready-made is unfortunately tasteless. The fried is old. Babi pangang bacon was tough. The ham dried out. The desserts were not replenished in a timely manner. After an hour we left. Never again for us.

I was sick all day last night and today from eating here yesterday. It's really unhygienic, a chef who goes to the toilet and then doesn't wash his hands and just stands behind the plate again. Food is of such low quality, even regular Chinese food was simply bad. I warn anyone who wants to eat here!! We happened to be passing through and there were 3 boys and we all had the same thing. I normally never write reviews, but if it makes you so sick, make an exception today. Be warned!!! The building is really neglected on the outside and inside it is also really messy and in some places just dirty!

The chicken lay against the salmon, cross-contamination was visible in many places. The prawns in the ice that are thawing in a container of water on the floor where the chefs walk. The food was often a bit lukewarm. The only good food was the sushi and desserts.

Great place, great food. For the first time in my life I ate, among other things, oysters and frog legs grilled in front of me.

Too gross for words. Firstly, our glasses were dirty and broken. The fruit was dried out. Found hair everywhere in my food. The food was also inedible, it could be compared to a brick. If the food doesn't make you puke, the toilets should, they were completely covered in shit and it smelled really bad. So I definitely don't recommend eating here.

Don't eat here!! Several hairs were found in our food and I became seriously ill. They haven't learned anything from cross-contamination so be careful if you are allergic!!!

And that is still high. I don't think they've ever heard of cross-contamination. The average BBQ in a park has better hygiene than this place. Cold and bad food with even hair in the sushi as a highlight. Case that is blue from the smoke. Truly a great experience that will never be repeated.

Never ever again, worst experience ever!!! 1 in the group quickly became best friends with the toilet, and another 2 who are now miserable. All the food on 1 plate of fish, chicken, pork and hardly any tongs/serving spoons available anywhere. As a highlight, hair as an extra snack. How this can still be open is beyond me!!! I hope that an inspection can take place very soon. Trust me don't go!!! It's really disappointing that we hadn't read the reviews before, which was due to a spontaneous action after a fun day in Horst.

If you still have doubts about visiting this "restaurant". DO NOT GO. The word hygiene is not in their dictionary. The glasses were still dirty, the grill plates were also not clean. The toilet smelled, spider webs on the roof and urine on the ground. Several hairs in the food. Everything is thrown (literally thrown) onto the same plate. The fish was on the chicken with a piece of steak and a few oysters next to it. The cook himself was standing behind the grill in his old, dirty sweatpants. If you still have doubts about going after all this, the taste of the food was also very bad. If you ultimately decide to eat there, I will recommend that you put a nice book on the toilet at home. Then you still have something to read. With a bit of luck you'll finish the book before your intestines calm down again.
