The ingredients and flavors, sourced from thousands of kilometers away in China, have been almost perfectly replicated in the distant Netherlands—there's nothing to criticize. The owner is very friendly, and the food is authentically delicious!

Used to be my favorite hotpot place. But now real hotpot food choice is much less, on the e-menu many are not available. But price remain high. We ordered two plates of meat, after 2nd reminder they only gave one, the other one we reminded the 3rd time the back kitchen just didn’t know there is one missing. We were finishing, the lady came to clean the desk, she was to fast moving the plates, lot of water came right to my pants, of course she apologized. But it was very unpleasant experience with limited choice, missing meat plate, and being spread water to pants. I don’t think will go there again unless there is a big attraction of real hotpot dishes and good service. Yuan is much better with choices and service now

The food was good as usual. However, the experience was tainted by a rat jumping out of the ceiling and running inside the restaurant. We couldn’t continue eating. We informed our server and she didn’t communicate this to the manager. I was expecting a different situation management, not just an apology and a excuse that “we leave the door open, they enter from the trashcans”. I loved that restaurant, I used to showed it off to friends and family. Not anymore.

The food was good with friendly service. The decor is worn out and the music wasn't too loud and was a terrible choice. Who would ever think of putting hip hop in a hotpot!

Ordered from UberEats many times, and it's just getting worse. 20 euros for Beef MaoCai, all I got is veggies with minimum meat (3-4 small pieces). The meat ball tastes weird probably already gone bad. The rice tastes like my dirty socks, definitely not fresh rice. I do not recommend.

We had a delicious hotpot. The meat was of good quality, and for the price, the portions were certainly large enough. The menu offers a wide selection, and we were served quickly. Worth repeating!

I had wanted to try this concept for a long time. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment for me. I normally would not mention this, but I have had stomach and intestinal problems for two days after eating here. Something just felt off. The Concept It is a cool and interesting concept, just not for me. For me, it feels like too much hassle to prepare the food piece by piece. It actually feels like more work than gourmet. Cooking the meat in bouillon is also not my preferred way of preparing meat. Of course, I knew this beforehand, but I wanted to try the flavors and experience it for myself. The Food The bouillon was nice, especially the mushroom and tomato options. The meat selection is good, and they also offer fish, vegetables, and some fried items. There is definitely a variety of choices, and they have some nice products. The Price In my opinion, it is too expensive for what you get. You cook the food yourself, so the portions should reflect the price. The meat plates did not contain enough for the amount charged. I also did not like the wagyu meat. In the Netherlands we do not have local wagyu in the same way, so it is imported frozen from far away. I believe they could offer more high quality Dutch meats instead. We have excellent meat in the Netherlands, and I personally know many butchers who providing better quality. I understand that meat prices are high at the moment, but in my opinion the price to quality ratio at this restaurant is not balanced. The Service The service was not bad, and the staff were kind. They refill the soups, which is great. However, everything is done in English. I think it would be better if they also communicated in Dutch for local guests. They could also explain the concept a bit better and be slightly more attentive. You have to order through an app. Unfortunately, I see this more and more nowadays. I personally find it a pity, because I think we are losing something important in hospitality when everything becomes digital. Conclusion I will not visit a hot pot restaurant again, simply because this concept is not for me. That said, others who enjoy interactive dining and cooking their own food might appreciate it more.

Very nice hot pot place. It was my first time trying hot pot and I had a great experience. Friendly and helpful service, everything was well explained and the staff took their time to guide us through the process. The ingredients were fresh, the broth was flavorful and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Overall a really enjoyable visit and definitely worth coming for.

Today I went to HOT AND HOT in Eindhoven again. Delicious hot pot restaurant. You can order everything separately here (no AYCE). You first choose one or two broths. We always get the spicy and mushroom ones. They happened to have a great offer on those right now. If you could show that you follow them on Instagram, it was free. The noodles were also free if the bill was over 50 euros. Ours is usually double that 😅😅. So those were free for us too. They also have a bar where you can create your own sauce for 2.50 per person. Delicious food, everything is perfect.

Luckily, it wasn't busy, and the food was good, fresh, and varied. The selection was extensive, but they helped explain what was what and how to prepare it. And how long it took wasn't important. 👍 Still, I was "full" after a while. 😁 Unfortunately, it wasn't really my kind of food, and chopsticks and rheumatoid arthritis don't mix well, but "normal" cutlery wasn't a problem. Parking there is a matter of finding something to do, patience, and luck.

Very good hotpot, and authentically spicy

In terms of food, we found it very good. The service was a little less positive: - We came from far away to try this hot pot (1.5 hours by car), so we had made a reservation for 4 at 8:30 pm (open slot on their website), and the reservation was accepted. - The restaurant called me on the day of to let me know that the restaurant closed at 10 pm and that the experience might be too short at 1.5 hours (which I really appreciate). - We rushed and arrived a little before 8 pm. The restaurant was almost empty, there were 4 of us, but we were seated at a small table of 2 🧐 - At 9:30 pm (30 minutes before closing time), the music turned off, and the waitress started sweeping around our table. We really felt like we were being pushed out, even though we were supposed to leave at 10 pm.

Unfortunately, the quality of this restaurant has declined in recent years. Lately, there's been less variety, lower food quality, and higher prices. These have somewhat ruined Hot&Hot for me. The staff is reasonably friendly, though.

At their competitor, Sorae, the food isn't quite shoved down your throat like a goose at the end of the hour and then you look away. The staff was very friendly and helpful, explaining all the vegan options and making sure we enjoyed the food. Vegan broths, a good selection of leafy greens, mushrooms, different types of tofu, and even vegan options for the sauces. A practical touch: to access the restaurant, you have to go through some buildings; it might be helpful to enter De Rungraaf on Google Maps, and the entrance is clearly visible from the parking lot.

First time we tried HotPot and it was great. Staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant felt very authentic. The food was very fresh, though the meats did not blow us away; but it was very good nonetheless. Ordering via QR cod was convenient and dishes came out very quickly. We’ll definitely come back!

We have been to Rotterdam hot&hot many times. This is the first time we are in this store. Unfortunately not recommended for two persons visit, as the table for 2 persons is extremely small. No space for dishes ordered and very difficult to move if you do not want any drinks or food fall on your clothes. Choices are also less than the Rotterdam store. Something to do with the location.

The staff were kind and attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place was okay. However, we were not very satisfied with the food. The dishes we ordered (you can see them in the photos) looked promising but didn’t deliver in terms of flavor or creativity. Everything tasted quite average and lacked any unique or memorable touch. There was nothing particularly bad, but also nothing that impressed us. Both my wife and I felt that the experience was just mediocre when it came to the food, especially considering the expectations we had.

The fact that this is not ALL YOU CAN EAT hot pot is shocking. It makes the meal ridiculously expensive for soup, noodles, and some meat with vegetables. it's a very dumb business model. What a shame.

Been here several times since it opened. This time it was a few months ago and it was the worst experience. Bubble tea is out of stock. All hot snacks were 'sold out' and many items for the hot pot were also not available. Too bad!

A great find for lovers of spicy food and authentic Sichuan hotpot! They have a wide range of options for both meat and veggie lovers. The ingredients are fresh, the broth is rich, and there’s plenty of variety, from fiery spicy to milder selections (though even the "least spicy" Sichuan pepper broth packs a surprising punch!). The setup is fun and interactive—perfect for groups—and the menu is flexible enough to satisfy all spice levels. Meat quality was solid, and the vegetable selection was more generous than expected. Sauces and condiments let you customize your experience, which is a big plus however be mindful on how much you order as things pile up soon and bills goes up! It can get intense if you're not used to Sichuan heat, so tread carefully if you're spice-sensitive. That said, if you like bold, numbing flavors and a social dining vibe, this place delivers.

The food was good, the sauce selection could have been a little larger. The ambience was also good as was the service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was okay too. What doesn't work, however, is the wall in the women's toilet that is covered in black mold. Unfortunately I didn't take my cell phone with me, otherwise I would have taken photos.

Super tasty food! Really worth going, you can order everything yourself via a QR code and they are super fast with everything. We sat there for an hour and 15 minutes and really enjoyed the food.

It's a great waste of money. We were not familiar with this cuisine - we came to try it. This was a mistake. The staff is absolutely unmotivated, taciturn and lazy - they did not want to suggest, advise or explain anything. Didn't recommend the necessary sauces, didn't bring the necessary accessories. We probably laughed a lot in the kitchen - how we caught slippery noodles in a huge saucepan with chopsticks. Several plates of raw meat and boiling tasteless liquids are too much for the amount paid. Maybe it will be fine for experienced fans of the kitchen, but there is nothing for beginners there

Amazing place to eat. It's is a bit hidden, but it's a hidden gem, in my opinion. If you love hot pot, they are the best around. With many flavor bases and plenty of food selections. The bulba is great! You can get addicted to it with the many choices they have. The atmosphere is great, and so is the service. Very expensive for what you get. Spent more than 100 euros for a few shrimps and a few bowls of meat. We didn't leave feeling full... and then losing such an amount of money is absurd.

I'm not a fan of hotpot because it's too oily for me, I'd much rather a bowl of pho. That being said even though I'm not a fan of hotpot, this place is WAY too expensive. Bubble tea was below standard in my eyes, they charge 2.50(per person) for a bowl where you can make your own sauce in with the ingredients they have sitting out. This included stuff like sesame oil, Chilli oil, etc. Pretty basic stuff that is normally free. The soup bases are about 15 euros each and then each dish is a little under 10. 6 prawns for 9 euros that type of stuff. One of the prawns we got looked like our cat had chewed on it so we didn't dare to eat it. The soup bases are very oily so not for me, but it's more the price I can't get over. Our total bill for two people at the end was over 100 euros which is disgusting considering the amount and quality of food that we got. Can't recommend this place if your considering trying hotpot.

The restaurant was not that easy to find, the entrance is in a parking lot and not on the street. The food was pretty pricey, prepare to spend €100+ if you're going with 2 people. To sum it up, I think it's too expensive for what you get. The service was great though!

Lunch service was calm and a wonderful atmosphere. I ate beef tallow sichuan soup while my friend had the mushroom (non-spicy) soup. Both were flavorful and delicious! We left full and happy, even the boba tea was served with generous toppings. What they called 'chinese churros' is a wonderful authentic youtiao, which you can dip into the soup to absorb wonderful flavors of the hotpot. I highly recommend this place, it would make a special occasion all the more special.

Really lovely place! Went here for the second time and will come back more. Food is delicious and gets to the table really fast! The meat tastes really nice and so does the vegetables. Really easy to order off the menu and the staff helps when you have questions. Really nice (and large) Bubble Teas too!

The four of us went to eat there on a Sunday. There weren't many people. The waiter explained well how to eat. It was good, peso is a peculiar food, which not everyone may like.

The food here is delicious with many choices. I had a very good experience here. Everything can order via QR code which is very convenient. You can choose 1-2 flavors for your hotpot and create your own dipping sauce with various ingredients. The food is served quickly and the staff is friendly. I have eaten at many different hot pot restaurants in the Netherlands. Overall the prices are not too high for the hot pot concept.

It was not our first time, the concept is very nice especially in a group with friends or family. The food is very good and there is a wide choice. You can get unlimited dipping sauce after paying for it once, you can follow the recipe they provide or make your own dipping sauce. The service is also nothing to complain about. They are happy to help you if something is not clear. All in all, I think it is a very nice restaurant to eat at.

I really don’t understand why this place gets a really high rating. From my experience this place is REALLY expensive. We had to pay a lot only for a small amount of food. They charge you minimum 16 euros only for the broth and the broth was quite watery after some time. Plus they have the audacity to charge you extra for a simple dipping sauce. I have never experienced this in my life, especially knowing that the restaurant already charges so much. We were very disappointed because the place definitely was not worth a cent. We left the place hungry and had to go somewhere to grab some more food. We will definitely never come back. Plus, the morning after we all got stomach issues. It was not because we undercooked the food (we even overcooked the food). I think because the quality of the broth and food itself was bad.

This place is good if you are on a diet. And don't want to eat too much. Prices are twice of what it should be. Food is okay, but not worth the money. Better go to Asia to have hotpot. Got sick even next day.

Really very nice, we sat there for 2 hours and actually we could have stayed longer, but the next round already started with new people. But if you book, you can simply arrive a little earlier so you can dine longer.

Unfortunately, our visit was a bit of a disappointment. The atmosphere in the restaurant was unpleasant; there was little decoration, no curtains, and we practically sat in the kitchen with crates of empty bottles around us. They promote bubble tea on Instagram, but there was none, and many dishes on the menu also turned out to be unavailable. The staff was friendly and did their best, but working in shifts made us feel rushed. After half an hour of making choices, we only had 1.5 hours to eat. The food itself was monotonous in taste; almost everything tasted the same, except for the beef, which was tasty. All in all, we expected more from this experience. With some improvements it could become a nice place, but unfortunately it lacked details and atmosphere.

Tasty, fresh, choice of several broths. Something for everyone. With 2 people we paid €92, in addition to what is in the photo we also had shrimp dumplings, gyoza and minced shrimp.

2-person tables are too small for two people. It felt uncomfortable. Your legs also won’t fit properly under the table. On the table not enough space to keep all dishes. Sliced meats, fried oyster and fried chicken were delicious. I don’t like chopsticks and it was a constant struggle to take out the cooked noodles from the soup. They do give forks though. Make sure you are OK with tackling these challenges while you’re really hungry. I guess the whole hotpot concept is not for me.
