Super delicious food, breakfast and dinner. Super friendly staff, all top-notch, keep up the good work.

I regularly walk my dogs here along the water, and when the weather is pleasant, I take the time to sit comfortably on the terrace and enjoy the view over the harbor and the lake. Good beer menu, suitable lunch and dinner, simple and well-organized. All in all, highly recommended.

Had a nice meal, but personally found the piece of focaccia with the soup very meager. The Bourgondisch broodhe was just a warmed-up Kaiser roll, nothing very special. But the rendang was very tasty.

The food was okay and tasted good, but it wasn't worth the price. The table and floor were unfortunately very dirty, even though we had reserved the table an hour earlier and brought our dog. The service was so-so; you learn as you go.

Very cozy and atmospheric restaurant. In the summer, you can enjoy sitting outside on the terrace, watching the sun. However, you have to wait an extremely long time for them to come and take your order. This is definitely a major area for improvement!!

Unfortunately, an incredibly bad experience. We are staying at the park for 2 weeks. On day 2, we wanted to have dinner at the Humprey’s, with the idea of ​​visiting more often for the rest of the holiday. After this experience, unfortunately, if we want to eat out, we will go outside the park. Even though it wasn't full, we had to wait well over half an hour before we could order drinks. We chose a 3-course menu, and a children's menu for our 6-year-old. We specifically asked if the children's menu (fries, Frikandel, chicken nuggets) could be brought at the same time as our starter. The lady serving us seemed to understand, as she indicated "then he won't have to wait so long"... starter is served. Children's menu nowhere to be seen. Then it becomes apparent that the staff really has tunnel vision; no one even glances at your table, no one sees you waving or beckoning. Eventually, our plates were cleared after a long time. The question then came whether everything was to our liking. Well, no, because the children's menu is missing. Once again, we had to explain what we had ordered. Apologies were made and they said they would sort it out as soon as possible. Eventually, the children's menu arrived along with our main course; unfortunately, the order was incorrect, so it was remade. While waiting, I noticed that we were not the only ones experiencing poor service. Eventually, I went to look for staff to order drinks. All in all, a disappointing and unpleasant experience. No apologies, no question at the end asking if everything was to our liking. Here is the bill and good luck with it. A real shame.

I've known the Humpreys concept for a very long time, for decades actually; they used to be in Groningen and Eindhoven too. I went very often and always spoke highly of it... but this one in Thorn was really mediocre... I'm not going there anymore... it used to be really, really better.

Highly recommended! During our short break, our group of 11, spanning three generations, dined here twice. Both times, everything was perfect. The food arrived at the same time for everyone, no one was forgotten, and the service was exceptionally well-organized despite our large group. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and courteous. Add to that the delicious food and a lovely atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Many thanks to the entire team for two wonderful evenings!

I sat outside on the terrace with my husband for a whole hour, and the person taking orders took others' orders without them asking; he approached them on his own initiative. I was still sitting there with my husband waiting for the person taking orders, but he still hadn't come after an hour, and when we left, they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience, they didn't even apologize. It seems to me that they are treating people based on their background, and that is why she ignored us. I find this a real disgrace for such a beautiful restaurant.

A beautiful location right on the water, nestled within a fantastic, very clean leisure park. The food isn't great, but the staff is friendly and professional. Parking is free. It's only a 15-minute drive from the Roermond outlet center.

We ate with 6 people. We found the food mediocre in comparison to the price. There is extensive use of ready-made ingredients and repetition in dishes: such as the ready-made aioli with the bread reappearing with the mixed grill. The Asian carpaccio is identical to the regular carpaccio, just with a different sauce. The grilled tuna was ice cold, as was the carpaccio. The meat in the mixed grill was tender but marinated in such a way that it no longer had any meat texture, whereas the pork, chicken, and beef were almost identical with the same salty taste. The apricot crumble was not a tasty warm crumble but a glass with a little apricot compote, an excess of greasy whipped cream/mascarpone cream which was not very flavorful, and topped with tough, tasteless cookies, some of which were crumbled. The fries were not fresh but ready-made with a starch coating. Overall, the chef is making things very easy for himself. In terms of price, they are expensive. Think of a small glass of cola (0.2) for 3.85 euros. Although bottles of drinks like cola and orange soda are pictured on the ordering kiosk (located above the restaurant near the bowling alley), it turns out this is simply a small glass of soft drink from a machine for a premium price. Waiting times are on the long side. When settling the bill (for which no one came to our table, but we walked to the bar ourselves after some time), we did mention that the apricot crumble wasn't tasty (we didn't eat it). The reaction was: "Oh... that's not supposed to happen," and that was the end of it. Otherwise, the service is friendly (though somewhat impersonal). The nice thing about the restaurant is that it is conveniently close. However, considering the quality and what you pay for it, we would definitely recommend a different restaurant.

The food is very good. Prices are typical for the Netherlands. They also offer set menus for two or three courses. You can order more fries for free. Depending on how busy it is, the food can take a while to arrive. The service is good, but sometimes too slow.

The ambiance is truly inviting! Beautifully decorated and in a stunning location. Unfortunately, we were disappointed and wouldn't go back. We were served by four different waiters in one shift, so one waiter didn't know what we had already told the others. On top of that, the wait times were incredibly long. We waited over 60 minutes for our main courses after ordering. For that price, I find the prices simply too high. The service should be excellent for the price. Everyone was incredibly friendly, but the wait times were unacceptable. The takeaway pizzas are frozen and simply reheated in the oven – the price is just too high for that.

It is a shame that there aren't more options to get food from Humphreys to take away and eat in the cottage. The fries could have been fried better. Especially since the food truck is absolutely inadequate (not good).

Everything was absolutely delicious! We tried the crispy fried salmon roll, tuna tataki, pan-fried hake fillet, and Dutch North Sea sole, and every dish was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was also excellent. You must try the French fries with truffle sauce

Nice spot inside. We sat together at a round table and the dogs were allowed to come along too. We had a tasty mixed grill with a Sjoes (a beer). The mushroom shawarma was also very tasty. After dinner, we sat on the outdoor terrace with a beautiful view over the water.

We had a Weizen on the terrace here during our bike ride. It’s a nice place to sit, the view is great, and the Weizen is tasty. Until you ask for the bill: You have to shell out €19.90 for 2 large Weizens. Exorbitant!!! The price-performance ratio is completely off.

Cool restaurant right by the boat dock. A central hub of a residential complex. Everything is new and very modern. There's a bowling alley upstairs. Or several. The service is very friendly and the food and drinks are good. Prices are a bit high.

We arrived at the restaurant more than half an hour before our booked time. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table immediately. The children were promptly provided with coloring materials. Our server, a young woman, was very attentive, and our special requests and orders were handled with great care. Drinks and dishes arrived quickly, and everything tasted delicious! We were completely satisfied and highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice place. We go there for breakfast often, but it frequently happens that things run out and it takes a long time to get refilled. That is a shame, because you still pay €20 p.p. There is plenty for the kids to do.

Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing overall. Right from the start, we noticed that our table wasn't clean and there were crumbs and food scraps on the bench. This didn't make a good first impression. The butter chicken was the worst I've ever had. And I've had quite a few. I found the chicken's texture very wobbly/soft and unusual, which unfortunately made it almost inedible for my taste. It didn't seem like the quality or texture of meat I would have expected from such a dish. I politely mentioned this to the waitress. She then went to the kitchen and returned with the information that the chef had intended the texture to be that way. That can, of course, be a matter of taste, but it certainly didn't meet my expectations. Since I could barely eat the dish, I sent almost the entire portion back. As I was still hungry afterward, I also ordered a pizza to go. I was disappointed that, despite the situation, there was no attempt to accommodate me and it was charged at full price. I would have expected better from such an unsatisfactory main course. The appetizers and desserts, on the other hand, were good. The main courses were generally rather average and, in my opinion, not quite worth the price. The wait times between courses were also far too long. Overall, unfortunately, a disappointing experience – a shame, as I had hoped for more.

As the room was quite full, there was a lot of noise, but that is to be expected. We also had breakfast for two days and it was excellent every time too!

We had a mixed grill, but only the steak wasn't good. They resolved this nicely by crediting us for the mixed grill. Otherwise, the food and drinks were fine. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price (6 + 1 pers. 300.00), including 2 bottles of wine, craft beers...

We had a delicious meal. The restaurant was busy. The children's ice creams came long after the adults' desserts. I recommend serving the soft serve ice cream with sprinkles in a small bowl or on a napkin. But we would love to come back in December.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. It would be nice if there were a few more dishes available outside of the set menu, such as a salad or pizza. Drinks are also very expensive. Therefore, one point is deducted.

Review for the evening: Food was good, but quite expensive. The staff completely ignored our table. We received only one drink in 3.5 hours, and dessert only arrived after 3 hours when we asked at the bar (the waiter ignored us). Neighboring tables with locals were repeatedly asked if they wanted any more drinks. With four three-course meals, they had apparently already made their required revenue, so we were no longer of interest to them.

No one looks at you, you raise your hand, or shout "Yeah, yeah, I'm coming" (curtly), and half an hour later someone else shows up. The terrace isn't even half full. You still have to go inside to pay because of the poor Wi-Fi. It's a real shame. Perhaps a tip would be to improve the Wi-Fi and have staff pay more attention and work more efficiently.

It was our first time there and we were very impressed. Great atmosphere, good service, and very good food. However, if you don't know it's in a holiday complex, you'll be surprised to find yourself in front of a barrier. There's a visitor parking lot to the left, which wasn't immediately obvious in the dark. We'll definitely be back.

The cold starters were good. My husband's main course (mixed grill) was lukewarm to cold, as mentioned. All in all, it was fine, but we won't be back anytime soon.

Because the jetty was closed to passers-by at 8 p.m., I went to Humphrey's for dinner. It had a lovely, cozy terrace with a nice view. The staff was friendly. I was struck by how quickly the food arrived, definitely less than 10 minutes after ordering. I had the chicken satay and the salmon burger with fries and salad (the salad was 10 cucumber slices in a bowl with dressing). The food was tasty, but for €25 per person, it was rather unimaginative and felt like a reheated meal. Of course, it's a holiday park, but the food could use a bit more passion; otherwise, I'd just go to McDonald's.

Don't order takeout pizzas; they're burnt on the outside and undercooked in the middle. Could be better! The restaurant is fine, especially in terms of atmosphere and service. The food is decent, but don't expect anything special.

The only downside, and the staff should address it. Even though I'm a true animal lover, there are too many dogs in the restaurant every time. And the highlight of last weekend: children entering the restaurant on their scooters. They deny these families access and enter the restaurant in a normal way. Imagine being a staff member with a tray full of soup, and then a child on a scooter walks by...

Reservations are recommended on weekends, as it can get busy. Dinner was excellent, with pleasant and efficient service. Drinks on the terrace overlooking the water are also a lovely experience.
