At bar, they judged that I was an inexperienced customer and gave me a larger size than the one I ordered. Since it was already made, I paid for it, but €11.5 is too expensive for a student. I might come again for future events, so I’ll make sure to mention it next time.

Service was minimal. A large portion of the staff was unfriendly and forgot our order twice. I also ordered a Caesar salad without croutons, and received a salad without croutons, anchovies, or egg. Only the leaves and cheese. The staff was not pleased when I pointed this out.

The restaurant changed its menu; now they only have Spanish tapas. I'm Spanish, and we went because of the menu online, and it's not the same. Again, they only have Spanish tapas. We could only sit in the bar; the restaurant area was closed.

Came to the bar for a drink, one other person in the place and it took 30 minutes for them to make my drink. They seem to think people have nothing to do but sit around and wait for them to pick up the speed. Would never come back . Happened 2 nights in a row

Seemed to be popular but had a terrible experience. Was staying at the hotel. Ordered a mojito at the bar (after waiting a while), bartender didn't know how to make it. After paying, he forgot to make it and someone else had to make it for me. They didn't measure the alcohol and just put a splash each of the alcohol in. Topped up with soda water. It was the worst cocktail I've ever had made for me. Must have stood at the bar 15 minutes (and about £13) for the privilege. Atmosphere was quite nice though.

Bad experience... The room was barely full we ordered 6 pieces of chicken +30min after still not served we canceled and I won't even talk to you about the prices... I don't recommend this place at all

Recently had a perfectly organized baby shower at I-Dock. From the high tea with delicious sandwiches, to the overall atmosphere in the restaurant and super service - the whole day was fantastic!

Had such a wonderful and well-organized baby shower at I-Dock. The girlfriend who is expecting was super surprised and everything was arranged from top to bottom. From the decorations to the food, we had a great time! They also took dietary requirements into account. If I have a baby shower again, I will definitely contact I-Dock.

We came to eat with a discount code that we had received through our insurer. We had to make a reservation via a separate site, so you would say that they had been informed about this, but that was not the case. Staff is friendly but nonchalant and slow, and that for a restaurant that is not even completely full. Portions were large but the food was not refined. All the food lacked some sauce to give it cohesion, now it was all separate components on the plate. Price absurdly high for what you get, for that money you can eat much better in Amsterdam. A waste of our time and money

This evening I ordered 1 mixed platter (tapas) from room service. On the menu it is displayed 15 pieces. They brought me a plate with 12 pieces. I also had a plate of fries, 1 plate of grilled cheese (croque monsieur) and two aperitifs. Everything is brought to me without cutlery or napkins. Honestly, it makes you want to get delivery from an outside restaurant. I will not repeat the experience

Genuinely disappointed. They gave me the wrong food. They offered to fix the problem, but I did not want to sit and wait while my partner eats her dinner. The menu isn't properly printed out so it was hard to read. The pasta was just bad. I felt like I was going to puke and my partner was gagging. 23 Euro for pasta and 7 euro for water... Children running around and saw naked people near the docks outside the restaurant.

Terrible service - it takes an eternity for the waiters to do anything. We had to take the menus ourselves, go into the building to make the orders and also had to wait for the payment. It's not even understaffed - the staffs were often doing nothing behind the counters and were told off by their managers after another angry customer left. Revisited the next day as I was staying at the hotel, and it somehow got even slower. Terrible service!

Enjoyed our time together. We are a business club with over 9,500 business women and professionals and organize 160+ boutique style networking events per year, throughout the country. We have reserved the terrace for 10 people. The location gets a big 10. Like the staff, we were allowed to set the table with our own decoration and gifts - with sun on the terrace from 10.30 am (July). We made a few nice posts on Instagram and were already asked when again 😇 The weather was fantastic, making the ambiance a real Waterfront Brunch experience ✨ We would love to come again!

Wouldn’t recommend this place. Food boring and the service was what you expect eating at a fast food chain like McDonalds.

We sat outside for over 30 minutes and were not served. Afterwards we went in and a woman said that she had just overlooked us and was about to bring us the food and drink menu. After another 15 minutes of waiting, we left in anger. The people sitting next to me at the next table were served as normal, but the waiter said, “The colleague will serve you.”

The atmosphere is amazing and also the outdoor tables in-front of the marina is fabulous. Every morning I used to have a great coffee and Latte macchiato for my wife from the barista Retcher (such an amazing guy with nice smile and positive energy every morning). Cada mañana solía tomar café y café con leche macchiato para mi esposa del barista Retcher (un tipo tan increíble con una sonrisa agradable y energía positiva cada mañana). Comimos aquí un día y cenamos al día siguiente. Los servidores no podían parecer menos interesados en ayudar a los clientes. El servicio era muy lento y desatenido para el almuerzo, pero cuando finalmente conseguimos nuestra comida era bueno. Así que la noche siguiente pensamos que probaríamos el servicio de cena pensando que el mal servicio era un hecho excepcional. Nos equivocamos. El servicio fue muy lento y poco atento. No pidieron pedidos adicionales de bebidas o si necesitábamos más agua. Tienen un menú muy limitado, pero el chef tardó más de una hora en sacar 5 platos cuando solo había 3 mesas de clientes en ese momento. Luego la comida estaba grasienta y sobre cocinada. Olvidaron las ensaladas por completo. O finalmente los recuperé yo mismo después de verlos sentarse en el mostrador durante 20 minutos. Cuando pedí hablar con un gerente dos servidores me informaron que el gerente no estaba allí. También estaban claramente frustrados. Cuando me puse en contacto con la empresa corporativa por correo electrónico está claro que los problemas en I - Dock en el hotel Room Mate Aitana en los Países Bajos es sistémico y probablemente el mismo en todas sus ubicaciones. Este restaurante no está asociado con el hotel, pero es el único restaurante en el hotel que nos impedirá volver a alojarnos allí.

We organized a baby shower here. Everything was well organized from start to finish. We had a great day.

From personal experience: We had arranged wedding dinner at the restaurant and must say huge thank you for the staff (Rutger ,Skels, Juan, Senita) that has professional ethic approach and was very friendly, polite and the most important part helpful for organising this special event. Thank all of you, well done!

Esperienza allucinante , non sono riuscito a cenare dopo due ore di attesa mi hanno portato il conto senza aver cenato .avevo ordinato una burrata e una tartare di tonno alle 20,15 sono arrivate alle 20,45 poi più nulla , sono ormai le 22 e la pappardella e l’entecote neppure l’ombra mai vista una disorganizzazione del genere .

Had a lovely lunch here with friends last week. We started with a delicious homemade leek soup with some bread and then I had a well-filled Caesar salad. Both highly recommended! Nice person and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. We will definitely come back again!

What a great restaurant this is! We organized a gala dinner for 16 people. The staff guided us so well in the preparation, thought along with us and spoiled us enormously that evening. Our party felt very special. In addition, the food was delicious. We are quite big eaters and the portions did not disappoint. We went home satiated.

El espacio cuenta con unas instalaciones fantásticas y unas habitaciones más que confortables, con todos los servicios que necesitas. Sin embargo, el gran valor añadido del hotel es su capital humano. Es precisamente la profesionalidad, amabilidad y empatía del personal lo que te hace volver con los ojos cerrados. Un agradecimiento muy, muy especial a Juan Cortada, quien desde el restaurante del Hotel nos brindó una increíble experiencia, con su total simpatía y alegría. ¡Un gran trabajador, pero mejor persona que, como decía Víctor Kuppers, marca la diferencia llevando su actitud como bandera!

Wat een topplek! Ik heb afgelopen weekend een babyshower gehouden hier voor een vriendin en het was meer dan PERFECT! Supermooie privé ruimte met prachtig uitzicht en mooie tafelsetting door het team georganiseerd. Wat een lief team die hier werkt!! Niets was teveel gevraagd, ze hebben ons allemaal supergoed verzorgd, ik kan I-Dock echt niet genoeg aanbevelen!!

Yanınızda güzel tekneler. Ben levrek yedim güzeldi. Küçük küçük mezelere benzer starterlar başarılı. Küçük çimçim karidelerden hazırladıkları starter nefis. Atmosfer, masanın tahtası (teknelererin o elit havası gibi) muhteşem. Amsterdamda servisler biraz yavaş sabırlı iseniz mutlu olursunuz.

Restaurant in hotel Aitana,cute harbour view,modern look with a classic,rustiek welcome vibe.very friendly & attentieve staff. Music was in the background,not too loud so we could actually have a conversation... Food was absolute perfection,fish and beef both prepaired as it should be...true enjoyment for the taste buds.I cant renember when i ate this delicious..I always order extra vegetables and I got a decent portion of it too. Higly appreciate it.. Desert made me curious...Cranberry cheese cake...I can say I am Addicted.. even ordered 1 to take away...This one is a must do in Amsterdam

Pasamos una velada increíble,el Ambiente del Hotel y el restaurante es muy elegante y moderno,el servicio : De los màs atentos que hemos tenido, viajamos mucho y hos aseguro que son increíbles! Por no mencionar la espléndida cena compuesta por un entrante que compartimos , Tartar de remolacha y queso feta,Pan fresco con hummus y mantequilla de finas hierbas , un segundo plato , uno de carne y otro de pescado del día, acompañados de verduras fresca y de temporada, me parecieron excelentes,muy bien presentados y bien ejecutados , los cocktails y el vino adaptos al estilo moderno del restaurante,sin duda saben lo que hacen y les irá genial siempre, volveremos sin duda y lo aconsejaremos a todos nuestros amigos! Gracias por esta increíble y maravillosa noche! Quería agradecer también al Manager del restaurante, una persona increíble, muy profesional, nos hizo sentir como en casa , agradecemos mucho su increíble presencia!

Monday nite ... lovely weather on a beautiful terrace at the waterfront. Appalling service though, 1/1.5 staff serving ~100 people. Ridiculous ! Don't blame staff shortage, it's management not able to recruit staff (or close part of the terrace, or at least put out a warning sign. Either way, you're loosing customers.

De kaart klopt niet, dus is er sprake van oplichting (sweet potato fries 6,50 op de kaart, kost in werkelijkheid 8,50). Zeer karig assortiment aan dranken en schreeuwend personeel in het restaurant. De extra ster is de aardige barman

Ik heb hier een bedrijfsfeest gehad. De bedrijfsleider was behoorlijk aanwezig, maar niet op een vriendelijke gastvrije manier helaas. Ook het eten liet te wensen over. Het keukenpersoneel kon helaas het lopend buffet niet aan en er werd regelmatig naast het eten gegrepen omdat het niet tijdig werd aangevuld.

Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. Fantastic and friendly crew to make your stay worthwhile. Would def recommend the place.

Very disappointing dinner. Had a 4 course meal, all cold including a decent tasting but luke-warm steak on cool mashed sweet potatoes. The waitress couldn't tell us anything about the food or wine - explanations were limited to "It's meat". While I appreciate that it is a hotel, the shrieking children running around the formal bar and dining area (when their parents were not even at dinner) all the way until midnight was very distracting. No atmosphere apart from the screaming. Generally disappointing.

The staff is amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us. We arrived at 1 minute before closing the let us order and offered to let us have drinks until 6 for dinner. 🥰

Mooie locatie met leuk terras. Eten prima. Salade matig. Grootste probleem van dit restaurant is het personeel dat onbekwaam is en een ongemakkelijke en onzekere houding heeft. Stonden bij binnenkomst met z’n drieën om de bar en spraken ons niet uit zichzelf aan. We stonden aan dezelfde bar te wachten. Vervolgens werden we gevraagd wat we wilden drinken, terwijl we nog niet eens zaten. Vervolgens kwam het broodplankje, bijgerecht en het hoofdgerecht tegelijkertijd, terwijl gevraagd was eerst het broodplankje te serveren. Ook is er tijdens het eten geen één keer iemand langsgekomen om te vragen of het smaakt, of we nog iets willen drinken, etc. Zelfs niet bij het afruimen. Ook zelf naar de kassa moeten lopen om te vragen of we konden afrekenen. Het lijkt er op alsof ze horeca ervaring missen.

We hebben genoten van onze avond bij I Dock. We werden bij ontvangst vriendelijk geïnformeerd dat ze een onderbezetting hadden qua personeel en dat er daardoor wellicht wat minder aandacht voor ons was, vooral omdat we buiten wilde zitten. Ik vond dit een correct ontvangst; communicatie en het managen van verwachtingen is tenslotte alles! We hebben overigens níets gemerkt van enig personeels tekort. We hebben juist genoten van een ontspannen, opgewekte, beleefde en attente bediening. En ook in de keuken hadden ze alles onder controle; het eten was heerlijk en alles werd op tijd geserveerd. Het uitzicht is verder geweldig dus we komen graag nog eens terug.
