30 minutes for an ice cream but it was worth it, I don't know when I last had such delicious ice cream

Tasty ice cream from fresh milk and not overly sweet. The most pleasant surprise for us is to learn how milking-robot works. The cows get up and go into the machine in order to be milked! The stable is surprisingly clean 😊

The cult ice cream parlor on Texel. If you've been to Texel and haven't had ice cream at Labora, you haven't been to Texel.

We had delicious ice cream, the strawberry bun. And we even bought a few tubs for our holiday cottage. We also checked out the cowshed and the milking robot. What a beautiful, clean farm! The barn is also very nice and spacious for the cows!

Always good ice cream in many delicious flavors. A long wait, but that says it all!

If you're ever on Texel, it's worth a detour. It's not exactly cheap: €2.50 for a scoop, and in my opinion, there are far too few seats. Be prepared to wait in line at the ice cream parlor; it's always very busy. A plus point is the great playground for kids and the tour of the cowshed. You can watch the cows being milked fully automatically. There's a large gravel parking lot with plenty of space for many cars. All in all, it was very nice, but also very expensive for a family with three children. I wouldn't do it again.

A great place to play, enjoy delicious ice cream, and learn about farm life. It's impressive to see how a cow has been digitized! The ice cream was delicious, and there's free parking—in short, fantastic!

It was extremely busy, with a long queue, but the staff were polite and efficient. The ice cream flavours were the normal range you should expect. There were some animals and pens to distract the kids, as well as some basic playground equipment. It certainly kept the children distracted for an hour or so, but it would probably be much better when it was quieter. you do need to search around the site to find the bins and the working farm is interesting .

Ice cream couldn't taste better. We treated ourselves to one there every afternoon. Sometimes we had to wait a bit, but we promise, it's worth it. There's also a very spacious playground on site, and you can explore the farm.

Very tasty ice cream, lots of choice

Beautiful location, nice playground if you have small children, but you don't have to go here for the flavor of the ice cream. Pistachio tastes like it's factory-made; you can actually tell by the color, a vibrant green. Real pistachio is more brown/olive green. And then there's the price: €2.20 per scoop. No detour for me.

Always happy to come back! And the ice cream is always better. That's how Texel begins.

Delicious ice cream, a really fun play area for kids. The restrooms could use a little more attention, though, as some guests don't know how to use them.

A long line, but it moves quickly, and a large, diverse selection of ice cream and large scoops. Intense flavor and definitely worth a visit.

Incredibly delicious ice cream. We arrived around dinnertime, so thankfully the wait was somewhat short. Outside, there's a playground and several animals. Apparently, you can also peek inside the stable, but we didn't know that. There aren't many seats, and there are also a lot of wasps outside.

Ice Cream Parlour on Texel – Fresh, Local, and Incredibly Delicious A visit to Texel isn't complete without a stop at the ice cream parlour. The ice cream is made directly from the farm's own milk – with the help of a milking robot. You can taste the freshness! The flavors are varied, but I especially recommend "Grandma's Applet" – wonderfully creamy, with a real apple pie flavor. At €2.20 per scoop, the ice cream isn't cheap, but the quality and the experience are absolutely worth it. Local, fresh, and delicious – a true treat on Texel!

I only had a coffee, but otherwise I enjoyed delicious ice cream. With a "knoert" (a knort, as they're called there). Tip: go early, then it's quiet. There's a playground, and it's also nice to visit the cowshed. You can see the milking robot. There are peacocks and other animals like rabbits. Free access to restrooms. Also handy. Ample parking, which is also free. You can also buy local Texel items in the shop next to the ice cream parlor.

The most delicious ice cream I've ever had. It's also fun to look around the stables and read the story of the ice cream parlor and farm. Besides the ice cream, children can have fun in the playground. * Just a little bit, but it's a long wait until it's your turn to order an ice cream.

You can easily spend an hour there. The beef sausage is amazing. Maybe you'll have to wait a bit for ice cream. We waited in line for 23 minutes. The line was longer afterward. The ice cream was very good, though. A scoop cost €2.20.

A must-do when on Texel! The ice cream is made from the milk of the farm's own cows. You can visit the cowshed, and there's a playground. Unfortunately, there's sometimes a long line, but the staff works quickly and is very friendly! We've been there several times and would love to come back!

I had a delicious ice cream, but it was a bit pricey. Where there's 🐄🐄, there's 🪰🪰.... Once the ice cream was gone, it was gone again quickly.

It's great to be able to watch the stall, there are cozy spots to sit outside, and the ice cream flavors are incredibly delicious—we really enjoyed it—definitely recommended! Had a few wonderful days of vacation on Texel. Walking in nature along the beach, shopping in the villages and then in the afternoon definitely stop by the IJSBOERDERIJ La Bora. That is enjoying home-made ice cream, the "strawberry knot" is a great moment of enjoyment and a must.

There's something special here! First, you can see where the milk comes from and how the cows feel there in a fully automated cowshed, and then you can sample the freshly made ice cream in the ice cream parlor. There are unusual ice cream flavors, and everything is presented very appetizingly. You can really taste the milk!

Have visited many different ice cream parlors and farms throughout the country, but Labora stands head and shoulders above the rest. What delicious ice cream they have here, and the whipped cream is also delicious, real whipped CREAM. You can choose from many flavors, also sorbet ice cream, and of course not to forget the Aardbeienknoert. Mmmmm. In addition to the ice, the entire entourage around the ice cream farm is also fantastic. From the milking robot at the stables, the deer and all the other animals to the air cushion and the playground with picnic tables. Everything has been thought of.

Worth a visit every time you visit Texel. We were there on a Friday evening; there were no lines like there sometimes are in the afternoon. The price was reasonable at €2.20 per scoop. You can sometimes pay significantly more on Texel, for example in De Koog.
