We were here 2 weeks ago and had a delicious ice cream. The atmosphere was friendly and when we asked interestedly about the takeover of Roma, the owner told us what happened. If I'm back in my hometown I will definitely eat ice cream at this parlor again.

Nice ice cream parlor in the village, but unfortunately not (anymore) the best since the takeover. Lots of flavors, but probably also quite a bit of color and flavorings. I think it would be very tasty for children, but I would rather go to another one with more traditional ice cream. What has improved is that you can sit outside on chairs.

I don't understand why you take over a top business with the best ice cream from Brabant and then change exactly what makes people come back. The ice cream that is now sold is not worth the name “Italian”. Watery full of lumps, sugary and salty. Bad aftertaste. We often drove up and down 20 km there and back, but that is really not necessary anymore. A magnum is simply tastier. This is very unfortunate.

This used to be Ice Cream Parlor Roma, where I liked to eat ice cream. Now I won't come back here anymore. This week I had the most economical 'scoop' of ice cream I have ever had in my life, literally half a scoop (flattened ice cream scoop bar) that almost disappeared into the cone. We said something about it and with a lot of sighing and groaning the lady from La Toscana added a poor touch. Taste is ok, price-quality and service very substandard.

I've just found myself standing at a closed door for the second day in a row. Thursday at 8:00 PM and today (Friday) at 8:45 PM (the 2 employees were no longer allowed in). The ice cream parlor would be open until 9 p.m. on both days. Very disappointing.

Ik sta bij het vliegveld. Het is hard hoor, zo'n Boeing. Terwijl reizen..och ein bieschen alle talen omdat je toch Italiaans ergens anders bent. Het is zo'n vraag steeds, zeker is het ijsje lekker, ja, een kleine mini paradijselijke onderbreking, en dan de verwijzing, naar de leven zelf, want wat niet, met dan ook meteen de vraag hoe snel al dat Karma eigenlijk omgeploegd kan. Opdat geluk niet slechts uit eisjes of ijsjes komen mag. Ik wil, hoe genoeg is dat?

Veel keus. Maar mierzoet. En ik ben toch echt wel een zoetekauw. Personeel heel erg langzaam. Ligt misschien aan de scoops die ze gebruiken? Want dat scheppen duurt veel te lang. Mn vriendin had haar ijs al op voordat ik mn 2 bolletjes kreeg. Ook misschien iemand dedicated aan 1 kassa laten staan en daar af laten rekenen? Nu staat het personeel op elkaar te wachten. Ze bestaan 80 jaar? Ik zie dat niet terug.

Altijd en goed bereid ijs. Komen speciaal uit Eindhoven.

Up-date: sinds 2022 is deze zaak niet meer Roma maar La Toscana. Wezenlijk kwaliteitsverschil. Review klopt daardoor niet meer. IJs van La Toscana is wat mij betreft een dikke onvoldoende. Roma was een 9,5. Jammer dat ze zijn gestopt na heel lange tijd. Geniet van jullie welverdiende pensioen en dank voor al het lekkere ijs alle jaren dat jullie er waren. Super lekker ijs! Veel keuze en nette zaak. Ik kom hier al jaren en kijk altijd weer uit naar het moment dat Roma haar deuren weer.opent na de winter. Roma in Best en Firenze in Eindhoven komen vanuit dezelfde familie en delen de familierecepten voor het maken van ambachtelijk Italiaans ijs, zacht en romig ijs met (h)eerlijke smaken.

Ijs is oké, maar ijs van de vorige eigenaar (de Roma) was naar mijn beleving lekkerder in zowel structuur als smaak. De ene smaak heeft een beter structuur dan de andere, maar het tipt niet aan het niveau dat we gewend waren van de roma. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is jaar mijn idee ietwat uit balans hierdoor.

Voor die prijs mag je meer verwachten vind ik. Mijn dochter vroeg zelfs of ze haar ijsje niet op hoefde te eten. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar voor ons.

Wanneer je een ijs coupe bestelt zoals er beschreven en afgebeeld staat, verwacht je dat het hetzelfde is. Nogatiene coupe meerdere soorten ijs maar kregen één soort. Niet de koekjes erbij zoals het plaatje en anders gepresenteerd. De la toscana coupe met vers fruit, zoals afgebeeld aardbeien en blauwe bessen. Die krijg je niet. Het was ananas uit blik en druiven met pit. Ook zat er een klein beetje likeur over, één schepje en dat was het.ook deze was niet zoals de afbeelding. Echt slecht. De dame die ons hielp kon ons ook niet even smakelijk eten wensen. Jammer is dit.

Erg goede ijssalon met veel variatie in smaken. Je wordt ook echt per persoon geholpen ... niet omdat het druk is drie man tegelijk. Inmiddels overgenomen door familieleden maar nog steeds de beste ijssalon uit de omgeving!

I am an ice cream addicted and a big fan of Roma. I can get ice creams closer to where I live, but we always drive the extra mile for Roma. At Roma the ice is really creamy and tasteful.

lekker ijs, cappuccino ook heerlijk. Vriendelijke bediening. Ijssalon niet groot, terras klein, maar dat weerhield me niet om hier even een cappuccino en een ijsje te eten.
