Is this a good Italian restaurant? Yes! Great food and good prices.

Never been there, but what a fantastic Italian restaurant. Highly recommended!!!!!

Had a delicious meal. Had pasta with salmon and beef tenderloin. The homemade tiramisu was also delicious!! Friendly staff! Recommended for anyone who loves good Italian food. A holiday feeling thanks to the decor and atmosphere. Especially for those who love Italy and/or Sardinia.

I visited this restaurant with a friend from the Netherlands and my wife. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the owner was funny – it was wonderful. I often think of this restaurant. The view of the church from the terrace was also memorable, and it's one of my most cherished memories.

Unfriendly woman helped take the order but could not give any advice on the dishes. After waiting 1.5 hours, we received our food, but it was nothing special and the portions were quite small.

The food and prices were good. A different server came for each order, which I found odd. The later it got, the louder the restaurant became.

The hamburgers were delicious, only the Italian tomato sauce on them was a bit sour. They have better hamburgers than at Burger King and the tea was delicious!

A real Sardinian restaurant with a huge selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. Despite the crowds, we were served quickly because there was plenty of staff around, and the food was delicious! It is almost always busy there, so making a reservation is a must (and that says it all). The staff is predominantly young, but well-trained and knowledgeable about the extensive menu, offering good recommendations.

Excellent value for money, €50 for 2 people: starter, main course and dessert with one espresso – can't complain, I've paid more for worse food with service, simply top-notch.

It's a semi-real Italian restaurant, and the food is delicious. You can choose your meat with all sorts of different sauces, but you can also order pasta or pizza. So, there's definitely plenty of choice. The drinks menu is also excellent. They have a delicious lambrusco. The service and atmosphere are very pleasant. They really think along with you and go out of their way to please you. We always order a piece of meat with sauce, fries, pasta, and salad as a side dish. The pasta is simply cooked in a little oil. The salad ingredients and the tomato in the bruschetta are very coarsely chopped, which lacks some finesse. The pasta carbonara with cream sauce (according to a semi-real Italian) is a real thorn in our side. The pizza crust is way too crispy, even for a Roman pizza. So I would never order that (again). Furthermore, the meats and sauces are well-flavored and well-balanced. All in all, a great meal at reasonable prices. The dessert menu leaves a bit to be desired for me. It's all very rich, and the balance is lacking. Almost everything is based on whipped cream (combined with even more whipped cream). I miss a refreshing addition here. And I miss pistachio! That would make it even more Italian, like a croissant filled with pistachio cream, for example, or a good pistachio ice cream. It's just a suggestion 😊 Don't get me wrong, because for dinner—and even if you're not a true gourmet/connoisseur—it's a really good experience! But don't order pasta or pizza; that's not authentic.

The owner is incredibly nice and keeps a close eye on everything, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The staff is friendly and attentive, without being pushy. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. As a starter, I had the bruschetta – deliciously fresh and well-seasoned. Next, the beef tenderloin with gorgonzola sauce, perfectly prepared and super tender. To finish, the Grand Dessert, a delicious combination of various desserts. In short: a pleasant evening with fantastic food, great service, and a real Italian atmosphere. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹🍷🍝

I ordered a takeout pizza, which I found unappetizing; it was hard and almost cooled down when I got home. Perhaps using some warming foil would be a good idea. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere inside and out is excellent. Hopefully, the quality will improve. The pickup time (Saturday evening) might not be ideal. The restaurant was packed.

Went here for dinner last night. Unbelievable...salade carne...with arugula and walnuts...salad from a bag with lettuce scraps...6 arugula leaves...beef tenderloin completely overcooked and cold. My companion had tagliatelle vongole...all he tasted was garlic... The service was curt...not recommended!

I really had a delicious dinner

We've been coming here regularly for a while now. Until recently, in my opinion, they had the best pizza in the area. But something seems to have changed, and I unfortunately have to revise my rating. The service and atmosphere are still excellent, but the pizza is now "just a pizza." Sadly, nothing special anymore. The dough tastes bland. The toppings are sparse. The cheese is chewy. A shame.

Just (August 20th) I was confronted by a closed door. It was closed for vacation, even though Google didn't mention it. It seems like a point to be aware of.

We were very surprised that we had seen and reviewed Il Caminetto's menu on several websites on Google. We were shocked by the bill afterward! We paid much more than what was advertised on the menu! That's just not right, is it?

Both had delicious food and excellent service.

The food was delicious. We had to wait over an hour for our food. No one came to ask if we wanted anything else after we'd received our first drink, so I had to ask a server myself.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! We'd even drive 1.5 hours from Cologne to eat this pizza. The service leaves a little to be desired, as you're rarely asked about drinks or if everything is okay. The food, on the other hand, arrives very quickly! The restaurant can be very noisy at times, as it's almost always full.

This Italian restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and a varied menu with wide choices for every guest. The dishes are tasty and well presented. It is striking that the menu is very extensive, possibly even too extensive. The dessert offering is also well represented, with various attractive options. Unfortunately, the speed of service left much to be desired. After placing our order we had to wait no less than 50 minutes before the dishes were served. In addition, the coffee we had ordered was initially forgotten, so we had to report it to the staff again. Although the staff was polite, the service was somewhat chaotic. In addition, the noise level in the restaurant was very high, making it difficult to have a conversation with people on the other side of the table.

Had dinner here with friends by invitation. Very large restaurant that could use a facelift, chairs were not comfortable. Huge map that you get lost in. Dishes were Italian in my opinion, but "Dutchized" for the average Dutch person. Too young staff who just can't put a twist on it.

This place has delicious pasta and friendly staff. We had made a reservation with a group of 11 people and were helped very friendly. They even wrote out the receipt by hand because we asked about it. Delicious food I really liked the pasta carbonara and the delicious vanilla ice cream that I combined with a coffee. Pizzas looked very tasty too Thanks for the service!

I ordered seafood pasta, to my surprise, I only saw surimis and a few fresh mussels. After complaining, the boss came with a supermarket package with supposedly seafood to show me that my story was incorrect. So nothing fresh. Disappointing. Never again.

We are spoiled eaters and were taken along by friends who live IN Echt. We would not choose this type of restaurant ourselves. Tasty & cozy food, but it is not really Italian. Service is friendly and attentive.

Great evening...but too much noise

This is a restaurant where we no longer go, menu cards are still open and we are asked 3 times in 2 minutes if we already know. The food arrived on the table within 5 minutes of ordering. I had a tortellini but this was more like soup, no flavor and very little. After everything had been removed from the table, we waited half an hour for someone to come to the table and ask if we would like to have something else. No one came so we asked for the bill. No, not recommended unfortunately. Finished eating half an hour after arrival and an hour outside is not a nice evening for us, a tasty and especially pleasant meal out.

The food is always delicious, and there is a wide choice of meat, fish, pizzas, pastas and salads (and more). Prices excellent, location excellent and service top notch. Highly recommended.

Delicious Italian food and delicious desserts. An extensive menu, so lots to choose from. There is a spacious terrace in front of the business. I sat on the terrace and ate a pizza contadina. This is a pizza without tomato sauce, with mushrooms, mozzarella, walnuts and raw ham. For dessert I had a coppa caramello. I had a nice meal! Make sure you reserve in advance.

Ate there for the 1st time with a friend. She often went there to get pizza, so she knew this restaurant. For a Tuesday it was very full of people, so that says something. We received a very friendly welcome even though we had not made a reservation. Very extensive menu; ultimately opted for 1x mussels in spicy sauce, 1 mussels in wine sauce as a starter, 1x salmon with saffron sauce and 1x entrecote as a main course and 2 tiramisu for dessert.. Nice portions & all equally delicious! It was filling up well (also in terms of take-out) but the staff had it under control. We would love to come back again!

Very full restaurant on a Sunday evening. And also a solid walk through. Lots of staff, but they don't always keep track (perhaps it was even busier than expected). But always friendly and correct! A bit noisy at times due to the crowds. Food absolutely fine. Cozze alla Marinara, good flavor and the mussels cooked just right. And no unnecessary frills. Zuppetta di pesce with spaghetti on the side. Excellent spaghetti with parsley and oil, wonderfully simple and delicious! 'Di pesce' could be a little more exciting in my opinion. Squid, cockles... We had a very tasty and enjoyable meal!

Food was tasty, standard large menu of which Italians may still wonder what the authenticity would be. Staff are busy, which is of course everywhere at this time😔 And the atmosphere inside has little to do with a cozy Italy.
