IL Mondo Houtoven Pizza & Grill in Tiel-Zuid

Called today to pick up a large order. Including some pastas. It says on the internet that you can no longer order pasta after 7:00 PM. I called just before 7:00 PM and was told that it was no longer possible. When I said that it was not yet 7:00 PM, they said that the pasta machine would be turned off at 6:55 PM. I told them that they should put that on the internet and that I find it unfriendly to customers. She didn't care. A bit of a shame!

Today a bad experience with the Il Mondo pizza. Up until now always good. Today however very bad. It looked most like a reheated pizza from yesterday.

Picked up yesterday at Il Mondo Tiel. Picked up pizza from Il Mondo yesterday and it was great! Tasty thin base, everything fresh and super tasty. Real Italian quality. Smooth and friendly service too. Definitely worth repeating!

I ordered takeaway food. I absolutely cannot have cheese and I clearly stated this and also asked for extra when picking it up. When I was eating, it turned out there was cheese in my food, so now I'm feeling awful in bed because of this. I will not be ordering takeaway food from here again because they do not take customer wishes into account.

It's a pity that the vegetables on a shawarma pizza are specially served cold. This makes the entire pizza cold. Not worth the 15 euros for this pizza.

Have food delivered today. Delivery time was said to be 1 hour. It ended up being 1.5 hours. In between they called to ask where they were staying. I was told that they had already been on their way for a while and that it would take a maximum of 10 minutes. My answer was that the food would then be cold. And indeed it is not really warm.

Unfortunately, it continues to disappoint, given several attempts. Originally wrote a review after they didn't have my food after 2 and a half hours. Then just poor quality food, now "pasta before 7 o'clock".. not so.

Tasty pizzas. When it is busy, you sometimes have to wait a little longer. But the food makes up for it.

Today I got pizza and burger for the first time at IL Mondo in Tiel. Unfortunately for us, we found a hair in my daughter's 4-cheese pizza. Since it concerns an oven product, we are not very spattistic, but we wanted to report this to the pizzaria. I contacted a young lady by telephone who initially responded with the comment that this might be a string of wood. And when I explain that this is probably possible, but that I did remove a hair from the pizza, I am offered a 10% discount on my next order. Everyone understands that we are not looking for a 10% discount on our next order. I immediately indicated that this is not necessary because we are not calling to negotiate a discount, but to help them perhaps avoid such an omission in the future. The young lady on the phone did not seem to understand that it is purely about the customer experience. I tried to explain this, but unfortunately it fell on deaf ears. Unfortunately, this led to more discussion. The conversation ended unsatisfactorily and after I paused, I laughed a little and said that she would pass it on to the pizza maker. All in all, an unsatisfactory first experience with iL mondo wood oven pizza and grill in Tiel-Passewaaij. Do what you want with this review and experience.

If you want to eat real wood-fired pizza, this is the place to be

Ordered and picked up a pizza magarita and a bag of fries tonight. Pizza was delicious and the fries were also good and tasty. There is a nice atmosphere, a real family atmosphere. I forgot to order the sauce and when I wanted to order it from the friendly girl behind the cash register, I just got the sauce for free. The risk of recurrence is high for me, I will definitely come here more often.

I always order my döner and lahmacun here, it's nice and close to my house. It's tasty, but I've had better döner and Turkish pizza. The staff is very friendly and cheerful even when it's busy, so that's nice.

Got shawarma yesterday...today close hugs with the toilet all day long Never again!!!

Heard good stories about IL Mundo.. but unfortunately bad experience... Seems like they deliver food from the freezer. Food delivered cold... ordered twice, experienced it twice!

Fine for a quick bite, but don't expect a culinary tour de force. A 100% takeaway store that does not (really) differ from the "pizzerias" in the big cities. (Read: shawarma farmers who bake pizzas next to it). The wood-fired oven is a nice addition in terms of taste, but whether the neighborhood is happy with it... I have regularly received a pizza with the base baked just a little too hard. (Read: pretty black/burnt).

Here you can order delicious food. Sometimes you have to wait a while because of the crowds, but that says more than enough about the quality. The only point for improvement is the fries at the salon, which I think could be a little crispier.

So far we have only had the pizzas here, but they are really delicious! Very well filled and delicious from the wood oven. Too bad they close at 8 p.m. otherwise we would definitely get something here more often!

Prima pizza’s maar als je laat thuisbezorgen kun je alleen contant betalen. Dat wisten we niet, was niet verteld aan de telefoon en cash hadden we niet in huis, dus nu moest ik alsnog naar de zaak rijden om te betalen! Jongens, ga over op pin aan de deur!

Erg goede kwaliteit eten! Word terplekke gemaakt bij het afhalen en daardoor lekker vers en warm. Vriendelijk personeel, altijd goed geholpen.

Top eten! Supervers en veel keuze. Wij zijn vegetarisch en de vega pizza's zijn heerlijk!

Voor het eerst (telefonisch) besteld. (Op tijd gebeld, het was zondag) Precies op de afgesproken tijd bezorgd. Goede smakelijke maaltijd, . Was eigenlijk te veel. Voor herhaling vatbaar. 👍👍

Ontzettend te spreken over de bezorging. Deze lieve dame kwam later nog speciaal terug om een tientje te brengen wat ze te weinig terug gegeven had. Wij hadden het niet eens gemerkt! Wat een service, bedankt lieve dame.

Altijd heerlijk eten bij Il Mondo, van pasta's tot shoarmaschotels! Iedere keer weer opnieuw top kwaliteit, dus zeker een aanrader!

Dit is zeker een blijver. Ambachtelijk en super kwaliteit.

Ik bestel eigenlijk alleen (nog) maar de pasta's, maar die zijn dan echt zeer goed gemaakt. Tot nu toe altijd door dezelfde meneer gemaakt die dit waarschijnlijk tot zijn specialiteit heeft gemaakt. En dat proef je! Supervers en goede porties.
