Super wholesome place owned by Italians, family friendly, only a couple of tables, take away recommended I’d say. The pizza was delicious, I loved the dough which was the perfect thickness to not tear in the middle like most pizzas, and the ingredients were delicious, I especially loved tasting the olive oil on the pizza. Thank you, I’ll be back!

This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had and believe me I had many. The atmosphere was also great everyone was Italian and there was an old lady who sometimes sung to the Italian songs. A very simple 5/5

This pizza is a true 10/10. Every Sunday it’s my little treat to come here for the diavola with oregano and it never disappoints. Crunchy, spicy, perfectly baked, and just the right size to leave you full and happy. It’s a real family business, and they’re always so kind and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend it more!

I ate here on my last two days in Amsterdam, and I’m so glad I did. ’O Mammeta e Tu served the best Margherita pizza I’ve ever had, even better than what I tried in Rome! This small, family run spot is open just 5–6 hours a day, but the quality is unbelievable. The taste, the freshness, the love they put into their food, you can feel it all. No wonder they have a 4.9-star rating. These guys are incredible. If you’re in Amsterdam, don’t miss this place. Truly unforgettable!

Undoubtedly the best pizza in Amsterdam. It is an authentic Italian pizza place and the pizza is so so so so delicious and is a great a balance of that beautiful neapolitan pizza crust and that beautiful sauce and cheese. Just amazing! Definitely try there Margherita pizza. Worth a visit when you are in town! We have recently moved to AMS north and have been here twice and this is undoubtedly now our favourite pizza place in Amsterdam.

Excellent, true Italian pizze! This family-owned business definitely deserves your consideration. I usually order to-go and ask the pizzamaker to reduce baking time by some minutes so that the oven (@200c) at home can finish the job. Works like a dream.

Little hidden gem! This authentic italian family owned business, makes very good neapolitan pizza with perfect crispy homemade dough. The Pasta al forno provola e melanzane is amazing! but does need to be pre ordered a day in advance. Definitely worth it though. Not to forget the tiramisu. The place is very small which brings it charms. All made by very very hospitable people. It brings me joy to come here and see them.

If you wish to eat real Napolitan pizza of high quality - this is the place to go to. Honestly speaking, the people working there really are the sweetest people. Delicious pizzas. No pretentious stuff, just really good food. My favorites are the Giulio Auirelio and the Profumata, but the other pizzas are probably just as good. As a non-Italian it is of course difficult to judge whether something is truly authentic Italian, but this place does feel authentic.

I've had pizza taken away several times and it tastes absolutely amazing! So glad this Italian is on my street.

Have gotten pizza from here several times. Friendly and sweet owners and staff, we are always helped with a smile. Delicious real Neapolitan pizzas. I have already tried several pizzas, they are all finger licking delicious. We have now tried the Lasagna and the Pasta al forno provola e melanzane, both very tasty and worth repeating, we ordered the pasta a day in advance. The tiramisu is also highly recommended! We are not disappointed at all, in fact the reality exceeded our expectations: excellent pizza, very kind staff who pay attention to detail. Perfect dough, quality ingredients, nothing excluded. How to make a "simple" takeaway margherita one of the best pizzas you've ever eaten. Note on the kindness of the staff!

We had this for a takeaway last night. 3 Pizzas. Delizioza, Margarita, and a buffola with mushrooms. Hands down, I don't do reviews often, but this was BY FAR the BEST authentic Italian Pizza I've tasted in Amsterdam. Originally from London. It's better than any pizza I've had in London. The quality of the flavours, the tomatoe sauce, the mozzarella, and the right amount. Some pizza places either give you too little sauce, and the pizza is too dry or hardly any cheese. It was perfection pizza on a plate . Highly highly recommended. We've found our new favourite pizza spot. Try it, people, YOU WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!

Very good quality Neapolitan pizzas, run by lovely Italian people. Despite being a small pizzeria in a slightly more unfamiliar area of Amsterdam, the quality is just as good, or maybe even better than the city's best-known pizzerias. Go there!

The best pizza in Amsterdam and possibly anywhere? The profumata and diavola are heavenly gifts. We order from here on a consistent basis (almost weekly) and are never disappointed. The staff are so friendly, we’ve called a few times when they are not available on UberEats and they’ve always helped us figure out a way to get their pizza :) Could not recommend more highly!!

As Italians living in Amsterdam we are lucky, in this city there are a lot of nice places that offer a good pizza. However, out of all of them, Io Mammeta e Tu is definitely the one our family prefers. This is a small family owned business, with exceptional service. It is mainly a take away, not a fancy place to eat out, although you can sit at the table outside. What we love most is the dough which is very tasty and the tomato sauce is not sour at all, simply amazing. Even after moving to the other side of the city, we still organise regular weekly trips to pick up our favourite pizza Napoletana!
