We sat on the terrace. We received very friendly service from Guus today. Very friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious, and the homemade apple pie was truly delicious. Highly recommended, friendly staff, every single one. Come on, dear people, I'm so proud of you.

Set in a small square In de roos is a great place to stop for a coffee and snack. The team is super friendly and helpful and the food was super tasty. Did not eat the cakes but saw them come out and also looked great. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

Normally I am very enthusiastic about De Roos. Lovely people, good food and great service. Today was a bit different. We had made a reservation, but the reservation was canceled so we had to sit in a corner somewhere. In addition, we had not even finished eating for 5 minutes, when we were already asked to order more, if not, we had to pay because more people wanted to eat. I think this is very poor service, next time I will have lunch and coffee somewhere else.

For the first time in Zaltbommel. I entered De Roos on a gamble. Didn't regret it for a second. Hospitality, time for a chat, excellent service. And a very good atmosphere.

Lovely experience in this restaurant with the sweetest team working here. So many lunch options with many vegan dishes as well. Went for the vegan Dutch kroket for a change. Recommended.

Food was a bit too rich and too much cheese for me. But location and service are top notch.

As another reviewer also noted, the beautiful terrace with large parasols, comfortable chairs with beautiful red cushions is much more inviting to take a seat than at the neighbors. The menu offers enough choice. We had a Club Sandwich chicken with primal bread and a French panini. It tasted really delicious and the portions were generous. See the attached photo. You do indeed have to be a little patient with the service, but we were there at the busiest time of the day and everything went fine! The price-quality was absolutely fine: recommended!

Had a delicious high tea. And yes, sometimes you need some patience because things happen differently... people with intellectual disabilities work here, but the enthusiasm makes up for everything!!! I was sung enthusiastically by many of the employees because it was my birthday. There is a warm atmosphere here, and not unimportantly, the food is delicious!! Don't forget to take a look at the gift shop, super nice items!! (Don't forget to make a reservation)😉 In short, it was ENJOYMENT in every way.

Delicious high tea and friendly service. We started with a cup of delicious tomato soup, then a ball of chicken, a ball of tuna salad, a bruchetta wrap, and some hot snacks. And luckily they were really warm, and not lukewarm. In between delicious scropino, and finally the sweets: cupcake, crompouse, macrons, apple muffin, pastel de nata, scones with jam and lemon curd. Yum, very tasty. And hot tea water was replenished unlimitedly.

What a lovely lunch! This restaurant accommodated our group of 14 and did an awesome job. The service was amazing and the food portions were generous and tasty.

Ik heb jaren in Zaltbommel gewoond en kom nog steeds graag daar om bij de Roos te lunchen met vriendin .dit doen we zeer regelmatig en altijd lekker eten ,gezellig sfeer en goede zorgzame bediening .

Altijd weer een groot plezier om hier te eten. Het enthousiasme straalt er van af en de prijzen zijn hier tenminste nog van een normaal niveau

Restaurant met bediening door lieve mensen met een kleine afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt. Heerlijk broodje gegeten. Een echte aanrader als je in Zaltbommel bent.

Het meeste van het personeel heeft een beperking wat het juist een extra sfeer geeft super dat dit bestaat de bediening lief en goed eten voor nog een hele redelijke prijs.

Altijd gezellig om er te lunchen. We komen er vaker. Er wordt supergoed rekening mee gehouden, dat mijn man en ik een maagverkleining hebben. Porties worden al verdeeld over 2 borden geserveerd

Je wordt zeer hartelijk geholpen door mensen met een beperking. Heel goed dat deze mensen op die manier betrokken zijn in het bedrijfsleven.
