Ordered here for the first time on 1/30/25 and had it delivered. Arrived fifteen minutes later than agreed, which is still acceptable even though I live quite close by. The food: Butter Chicken and Tikka Massala, was very tasty with quite a lot of chicken in it and well heated. Am satisfied. *Very strange: order was delivered at 5:35 p.m., but at 7:24 p.m. I received an email that my order was on its way!! *I have now placed an order 3 times and they still send an email hours later that the order is being prepared and the order is on its way. Today both emails at 8:10 PM, while the food was already delivered at 5:50 PM! ....... Such an email is to let the customer know when you can expect delivery, so these emails are of little use! Do something about Indian Tandoori King there!

Best Indian restaurant in the district, very fresh food and a nice owner who knows how to make Indian dishes!

I was at home all day with food poisoning today after I ate that butter chicken yesterday. And there are 5 pieces of chicken in the butter chicken. Never again. Rice was also not fresh.

The food was so delicous. Especially the chicken kabab. it was watering in my mouth when i took a bite, the Biryani is also too yummy but spicy, 😃Thank you for this delicous food.

Delicious food and great service! I always order the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both taste authentic and incredibly delicious. Delivery usually takes +/- 40 minutes, keep that in mind. The customer service is fast and friendly; You will be helped immediately by telephone with questions or special requests. Highly recommended!

I am very positive about the Indian tandoori king. I order from here often and the food is always good and hot when it arrives. There was recently an error with an order, but this was resolved very neatly and quickly.

Very bad service!! Ordered for collection at 5.20pm. We drove from far away to pick this up because no delivery option was available. Order was not ready. Waited 45 minutes and took the order home. At home it turned out that the wrong order had been given. This was at half past six, I had telephone contact with an employee about this. Order would be delivered as soon as possible. Only two hours later does a delivery person show up at your door!! Only apologies are offered. And we were allowed to keep the incorrectly delivered order. Only meat, so as a vegetarian you have nothing here. No new free order or something like that. Too bad for words. They have lost a loyal customer.

First time ordering here, definitely the last time. Had to wait more than 1.5 hours for the food. When I inquired about the status, I was told that they were experiencing a computer malfunction. (The receipt with the order was from the time I ordered, so special). Food was ok, but not complete. We also ordered an extra naan, which was not delivered. All in all, we will not order from here again.

I have ordered and have been waiting for 2 hours now, no food has arrived. I called work at 6:18 pm to say that the food would be there within 45 minutes. At 7:00 PM they delivered my order again within 5 minutes. Now I've called them 7 times in a row and they just don't answer. 2 hours no answer no food. Update! 19:34. Food is as bad as the costumer service. I am Indian myself, the lamb rogan Josh has a Heinz tomato puree taste that is too overpowering for almost 20 euros, so no fresh ingredients are used. Tomato puree in curry makes grandma turn in her grave. The buttered chicken would be tasty if I didn't have the feeling that they probably didn't have enough of it and added water. So there was hardly any taste to it. I took videos and photos for 44 euros for 2 dishes. No excuses or compensation, you will receive a big zero from me, kind regards.

Im always ordering to my house. The biggest and unusual thing in this restaurant is always very warm food , thats the most important for me. Lamb Vindaloo and Madras are my favourite one. Thanks for making food with passion :)

Recommended! So good!! Once you order once, you won't want anything else. I have now tasted a lot from the menu and everything was delicious. My favorites remain Butter Chicken and Chicken Briani. Even with a stomach reduction, this is good food and easily digestible!! Toppers.

Unlike previous times, the food yesterday was substandard. There seemed to be a cutback on the chicken and cheese. We had a 3p menu and the chicken and cheese were hard to find. Just a few pieces and nothing but sauce. (Saag paneer, chicken balti and butter chicken). The naan was also sticky. If this was my first time I would definitely not come again.

Tried it for the first time yesterday with the family. Unfortunately we really didn't like it. The strong smell AND taste of eggs or fish that the fries had ruined the atmosphere and taste. The chicken wings were also red/bloody on the inside, and were therefore not cooked properly. Small disappointment with the roti fries: dry herbs on fries; we expected some kind of sauce. The rice was fine and so was the chicken in sauce, but very spicy. After calling about the smell and taste of the fries, we received new ones after 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the result was no different.

I really liked the food from Indian Tandoori King IJmuiden, I really liked the Naan because it is a different kind of bread. I really like bread because I am from the Netherlands and we eat bread all day, fun fact about bread: The ancient Greeks were already producing more than 80 types of bread in 2500 B.C, crazy right but I am sure Naan is one of them because that is way too good of a food they make there... Also when I was done eating I could just keep the "bakkies" because they are reusable, be sure to eat here and get Naan because it is very good. And when you eat Naan use it as a utensil and eat the rice and Shahi paneer with the Naan because it is a very good combo.

I've eaten here several times, so I can confidently write a review about this place. The food is always delicious and there is a large selection for vegetarians. Very nice and international service. I sometimes ate there, but it's a small place, so I recommend takeaway.

Finally!!! After trying at least 10 Indian restaurants in the Netherlands - all of which were bland, watery and terrible, we have finally found a curry that tastes like the curries in the UK. Thick gravy, lots of spice, very reasonably priced. Very happy customers that will be regulars!

HEERLIJK eten dit! Vandaag voor het eerst besteld, maar zeker niet voor het laatst. Super lekker, betaalbaar en vooral goed eten! Was genieten!

Gister menu thuis laten bezorgen. Temperatuur was goed, hoeveelheid ten opzichte van prijs ook goed en kwaliteit vond ik erg goed. Vond het nu nog lekkerder dan de vorige keren dat ik besteld had.

Wir haben den Indian Tandori King letzten Sommer im Urlaub kennengelernt und schwärmen immer noch davon. Es sieht auf dem ersten Blick nicht so aus, aber das Essen ist wirklich richtig gut (besonders das Butterchicken und die Rollen). Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und die Portionen groß. Man kann vor Ort Essen, abholen oder liefern lassen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Both dishes were delicious and for a great price. Chicken Balti was full of flavor and melt in your mouth chicken. Saag Paneer was creamy good, plenty of paneer and perfect spice. Plenty of rice! Veg samosas were also good. This is now our go-to for Indian take away.

Went to this restaurant last night and we ordered multiple dishes like Dal makhani, Shahi paneer and Mix vegetable Balti along with roti and rice (all vegetarian). All the dishes were excellent and perfectly spiced. The owner was very cordial towards us and even gave some papadums as complimentary. The service was also friendly and we would definitely recommend this place for some nice Indian food.

I was on solo trip to Amsterdam and found this amazing place near my stay.The staff was very friendly and welcoming .The food was very tasty and fresh. Even they gave me complimentary Chicken Pakoras which were absolutely delicious.I would like to go back again!!!!

Indian food ordered here is very tasty and good .We have variety of options to choose from and also the quantity of the food is more than enough for one person.Rates are also reasonable and it gives feel as of we were in India.The owner of the restaurant is kind person and humble.He used to give me complimentary drink and rice or some sweets as well.I ate at the restaurant for the whole week I was in Ijmuiden.Will definitely recommend for others as well to try this out. Je kon het vleessmaak proeven en de kruiden waar lekker in Balans. Ik kom volgende keer zeker hier Indiaase eten halen. Lekker en niet te pittig.

Ich "liebe" die Indische Küche, und wenn irgendwo "Butter chicken" richtig schmackhaft zubereitet wird, dann bekommt das Restaurant von mir eine gute Wertung. Es ist eher ein Lokal zum Essen abholen, trotztdem ist es sehr lecker und es gibt warme Gerichte, nicht nur "Snacks". Ich bestelle hier regelmässig, und alles war bis jetzt sehr lecker. Empfehlenswert zum Abholung oder nach Hause bestellen.

Lecker und atheistisches Essen. Wir waren zufällig mit dem Rad hier vorbei gekommen. Eigentlich ist es mehr ein Lieferrestaurand bzw. Essen zum mitnehmen. Aber es gibt auch einen Tisch wo verirrten Touristen ,wie wir, auch vor Ort essen können. Der Service war gut und das Essen sehr lecker und das zu absolut fairen Preisen. Wir werden wiederkommen,

Ótimo custo benefício! Comida feita na hora, super saborosa, e na quantidade certa. O chef ainda me ofereceu mais arroz (gratis) se eu quizesse, o que não foi preciso. Recomendo, e voltarei!
