Jaaba Counter in Wijk 00 Hilvarenbeek

After already having a not-so-good experience on the restaurant terrace, we tried the snack bar this time. Ordering is simple via the digital portal. The order was ready very quickly, but upon arriving at the cottage, it became clear why... everything was lukewarm. The croquettes were even cold in the middle. I visited this park a few years ago and had a completely different experience back then. What a step backward.

We waited more than forty-five minutes for our order because there is one experienced and two slow, inexperienced kids behind the counter. Agonizingly slow, everything order by order. And you can't cancel, because you have to pay at the machine first. Prices aren't cheap on top of that either, so you're better off either frying your own fries or eating at the restaurant next door.

Much of the fries were tough and limp, the bami snack was just one ball of flour with nothing else inside. We will not be coming back here; you can't really sit down and relax either. It was also quite pricey. The amount of mayonnaise is enough for 3 portions.

Brilliant banana milkshake. Too bad there are never big cups.

The fries were terribly soggy and had raw pieces in them. Also, the fries weren't salted. Tasteless junk..

We had an ice cream twice after dinner. Nathan was friendly and quick = top-notch. His colleague Ben is also amazing. We stopped by just after closing time but were served anyway = top-notch!

Great place, slightly expensive snacks. I just don't like the decor. You'd hope you were paying for the atmosphere, since it's so expensive, but that's not the case. There's a sad monkey hanging over the bar, looking rather pathetic.

Snack bar, everything went well, too bad it's far from the safari resort. Perhaps a second snack bar at this resort?

There are all sorts of fried foods. The fries were okay, but unfortunately, we didn't like the rest. The price is okay, but the quality of the food is also in the affordable range.

Handy snack bar with a good selection of fried food on the menu. The food is ok but priced well for the convenience of on-site clients. The ordering is efficient via a touch screen and paging system.

A few times now, I've gotten fries that were simply thrown back in to reheat. At least, that's how it looked and tasted. You pay a lot of money for it. If they actually make the effort to make something good, it's fine, but unfortunately, this is the third time I've had this experience. It shouldn't be!

The fries are good and well served, friendly snack

Ordering is done on a very large digital screen. Delicious fries and hogweed with very good satay sauce eaten on the terrace.

Nice service, gave good advice about our choice. Vincent was willing to go the extra mile and we really appreciated that.

Yes, it is expensive here, but what do you expect in a zoo... Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the food was well cooked.

Super nice benches to sit outside. The service was fast and the portions are large and the quality was good. Really great!

Great snack bar. But at the price. 3 fries, 3 snacks and 3 drinks € 32. The order screens slow down when ordering. Nice staff.
