Because I know Jade as a restaurant with good quality takeout food, we went for the all-you-can-eat this time. You are allowed 3 dishes per person per round, with a 15-minute wait between rounds. The selection of dishes was reasonably extensive. And first and foremost: the staff was extremely friendly. Pros: The sushi pieces were large; subtle serving was a bit of an issue, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The portions per dish were generous. The Asian dishes and the noodles simply tasted good. What could be better: The ginger and wasabi were not a service, but strangely enough, they were included in the choice dishes. The pickled cucumber was lukewarm, the edamame steaming hot but consequently tough, and the seaweed wrappers on the "trumpets" were soft, which told me they had been prepared long in advance rather than fresh. For the money you pay – it excludes drinks – I would have liked to see higher quality sushi. So I'll skip the all-you-can-eat there. I gladly return for the Chinese takeout; I cannot judge the à la carte menu, but I estimate that it is of the same quality as what you get for takeout.

The food here is really tasty. We’ve tried several Chinese restaurants, but this one is in our top 3. However, it is on the pricey side. Delivery takes a very long time here, but the person who delivers is a super friendly man.

We had to wait a very long time for the drinks we ordered immediately upon arrival. The sushi was not freshly prepared; we have often eaten much better at other restaurants.

We had a delicious meal here this evening. The portions were quite large, but really very tasty. We didn't know that we could order ourselves using the QR code. That should have been explained, of course. The restaurant is atmospheric and beautifully decorated. The toilet was also nice and clean.

My daughter got really sick after eating the sushi. It was supposed to be resolved. The solution? 2 spring rolls as an excuse. We had 60 euros worth of sushi. She already thought the taste was different from usual. And I have to say, the color was weird too and the rice was slimy. A further solution or any apology at all is still missing. Never again!

I have been coming here for almost 40 years and have never had a bad dish. Table 1 is our table, and we always reserve it. Delicious, high-quality food at Jade. Personally, I love the tenderloin that Jade can prepare in various ways with the all-you-can-eat. If you don't want any of that, you can also just order something special from the menu.

Unfortunately, customers ordering All You Can Eat are given priority over customers wanting to eat à la carte. After waiting half an hour for a cup of soup as a starter, while customers who came in after us had already been eating for a long time, we still hadn't seen a cup of soup. Inquiring with staff yielded no answer as to where the soup was. After we had expressed our dissatisfaction and wanted to pay for our drinks to leave, it turned out that paying for those involved another long wait. It is a shame that they cannot handle the crowds. All You Can Eat is nice, but à la carte is a disaster.

NEVER AGAIN. 4 people went for an all-inclusive dinner for a total amount of nearly €200. You can order 3 small dishes per person per round; after the second round, we were done with it. The food was bad, and some items were forgotten or not ordered at all. The service was also poor and rude because we left several dishes untouched after two rounds. The dessert buffet at the back of the room is simply a joke. Finally, we had a coffee; after asking 20 minutes, they had forgotten that too. If you are near this place and you are hungry, definitely keep walking.

Wow, this was delicious! We ordered vegan/vegetarian and it was incredibly good. Our new favorite! The fried banana was also truly divine!

The food here is fine. But I called to pick up and was given a completely wrong time for the order to be collected. I only received the order after waiting for 2 hours and an hour and a half at the bar. Even though it was known that there were significant delays, new orders were still accepted. This was the last time I visited here.

We went to the Blossom Park in Amstelveen this morning... then walked on to the village to have lunch... and then we saw that the Chinese restaurant was open... we went inside and didn't regret it... the food was delicious... and the staff were super sweet and attentive!!!

We had such a great experience with this restaurant! 🙌 We accidentally placed the wrong order, and only realized after it was already delivered. As soon as we called, the staff was incredibly kind and understanding. The person who helped us handled everything so professionally and reassured us right away. Not only did they fix our order, but he personally came back to deliver the correct food and didn’t even charge us for the extra delivery. That level of service is rare these days. The restaurant allows you to order up to three items per person every 15 minutes, which sounds reasonable in theory. However, since the food takes at least 30 minutes to arrive, the ordering system doesn’t really align with the pace of service. This delay makes the “all-you-can-eat” concept feel ineffective, as you end up spending more time waiting than actually enjoying the variety of dishes.

This is a great way to celebrate something, even just to celebrate Saturday. The menu is so extensive that everyone in the group can find enough to satisfy their appetite. And the cocktails are amazing. We will definitely be back, and again and again...

Cindu rijsttafel has been a favorite for 20 years. I ordered several combination dishes for my birthday party, so it was very diverse, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The portions are generous, so tomorrow's lunch for the teenagers!

Recently, we (2 persons) went for a dinner at this popular restaurant and opted for 'All you can eat' meals. The service and the food everything was going well until my partner felt a prick in his throat and was shocked to find a metal pin from a bite of Garnalen pasteitje. Thankfully he was able to remove it on time and avoid any mishap. On showing it to the staff they put the blame on the supplier saying the product came from them and it is just steamed in the kitchen and served to the customers. They apologized but did not mention how they will ensure that such incident never occurs again. They charged us for one person's meal which we paid. Anyway, we have decided never to visit this restaurant again. The intention of this review is just to make people aware so that you are careful while eating especially when with kids.

We've been ordering from Jade for over 30 years. The quality of their nasi has deteriorated; the rice tastes old and dry; it's not what it used to be. They also no longer serve sambal on the side with dishes that are served with it.

Orders were often incomplete. Normally, the monthly menu could always be adjusted for an additional €1. On January 1st, we placed an order by phone to pick it up later: a monthly menu with noodles and chicken. We wanted to adjust the menu. They eventually did, but they clearly stated that it wouldn't be possible next time. The reason given was that it was too busy and that adjustments could only be made Monday through Friday. The way this was communicated meant that this was our last visit. The owner also seemed unconcerned, which speaks volumes to us.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. First time here. We tried the all-you-can-eat option. It took some getting used to having to use your phone to order food. A small screen makes browsing the menu difficult, but it works. The sushi selection is a bit more limited than we're used to, but it's still good. The hot (Indonesian) dishes are delicious but the portions are very large, meaning you'll be completely full very quickly. The tenderloin was very well-done, as was the lamb chop (which could have used a lot of fat trimming). All in all, it was quite enjoyable, but next time I think I'll go for the a la carte option instead of the AYCE.

Absolutely terrible. Small Chinese spring rolls were cold. Nasi goreng was full of oil and barely any vegetables (old nasi goreng). The fried shrimp combo dish was just three fried shrimp. That was the last time. It's been bad before, and it was also cold. This was the last straw.
