came to this cute restaurant through social deals. Very tasty food and very friendly staff!

We wanted catering for a party. We were quite shocked by the current prices and ended up at Jasmijn because of the reasonable price and because we had already eaten there a few times. The food was fine (only downside: the harrira was quite salty), as was delivery. So we can definitely recommend Jasmijn for catering

Jasmijn took care of the catering for my party yesterday. It was a great buffet with many different flavors. The catering was on time and everything was freshly prepared. All guests enjoy it. It was fantastic, highly recommended. Gertrud Kruckels

I haven't had such a good meal in a long time. We both had the chicken tagine and tutti frutti, each for €14.95. Add a Greek beer. Mint tea after. Very friendly service. Absolutely great!

We had a Mediterranean three-course dinner via Social Deal: a delicious fresh feta salad as a starter, a beef tagine and Baklava with ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted delicious, definitely recommended. Nice, cozy restaurant with friendly staff and a hard-working chef who wants to please his guests.

There was no atmosphere, food was lukewarm and it was very little for three people. Even though they call it a mixed grill, everything tasted the same. Several side dishes that were not to our taste, with the exception of the potato wedges, unfortunately give us a disappointing review.

Ate here last week...Mixed grill for 2 people? What a joke. This isn't even enough for 1 person and I'm not even a big eater. Altogether 3 pieces of meat of a few cm that you have to share with 2 people, at first we thought that the rest had to be added, but after asking this turned out to be the complete dish? Then I tried a desert, the baklava with ice cream, hopefully this would be a bit better.. literally 1 block of baklava with a scoop of ice cream next to it, which you eat within 1 bite, sorry but this is really laughably sad. Not to mention the fact that you have to ask for your table to be cleaned as staff prefer to be on their phones.

Cozy and attractive establishment with delicious food. The service is friendly and polite (although in English, which is the case in many restaurants these days, I still have to get used to that) I complimented the kitchen!

Beautiful surroundings. Had to wait a long time before service came, about half an hour. Management barely pays attention to you. Very friendly. The food is fine. Fresh salad. Perhaps the falafel starter could use a little less salad and a little more Falafel (2 very small falafel). Could hardly find them among the salad. Friendly chef who asks if everything is to your liking. Overall excellent food.

Nice restaurant, friendly service and chef. The tasting is definitely recommended. Nice variation on the average restaurants. You eat North African dishes here.

Sat here with the last table for an extensive Mediterranean tapas dinner. Was so-so…first of all what was advertised online did not match what we got. The vegetarian version would contain falafel and also filled puff pastry, we were really looking forward to this. This was indicated to the waiter, she had gone back to the cook, but it was really the 'correct menu' and so there was nothing she could do about it. Instead of that, there were vegetarian meatballs that really didn't taste good...and there were no puff pastry snacks in sight. The potato in the Spanish tortilla was dry, tortilla chips had no taste with salsa from a container, vegetable quiche was not special either, empanada was fine and a simple salad. The tutti frutti was tasty, but again very bland in taste, many ingredients, but everything tasted like stewed pear. The snack beforehand was dry toast with some spreads. Fine, nothing special. The baba ganoush tasted smoky (?) and the rest of the dips were delicious. Dessert with baklava, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was also fine, nothing special. The flavors were disappointing. We didn't want to make a fuss about it because of the price, but despite that you expect good quality that they deliver everywhere in the restaurant. We couldn't tell the wait staff, they were super sweet, but very inexperienced. It was also unclear twice whether this was the vegetarian variant and we asked for the falafel, but they said it really wasn't there after we had informed. It was nice to also get shrimps with the vegetarian dinner (although most of them were fried too hard), they said this was not possible on the phone, but it was eventually brought to the table. The cook also came to the table, neat! Very friendly staff. It's also very nice!! We also expected these flavors in a Mediterranean/African restaurant, but unfortunately it was a lesser version of a Spanish tapas restaurant: mediocre quality and taste. Keep it simple and focused on one kitchen. Our intestines did not like it afterwards either. The quantity was good for the price but all in all I won't be back unfortunately.

Cozy cozy restaurant. I have the idea that it is run by the owners. Enjoy delicious food at your leisure. Ample! Highly recommended for this type of restaurant.

Cozy and surprisingly recommended

I've eaten here 3 times now. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Groningen, because it is tasty, affordable and very cozy! My friends and I are especially fans of the Mediterranean tasting. We've had this twice. Large portions and all very tasty. I thought the tapas tasting was a bit less but still very satisfied for the price! It was also no problem to get everything vegetarian.

come here every now and then, sometimes with friends that i work with, one of them eating only halal, and only late during ramadan, sometimes alone, like tonight: had vegan version of the tajine and harira, was really good, as was the coffee. karim is one the best in groningen :0

I celebrated my birthday at Jasmijn with a buffet. Everything was delicious and there was more than enough. The service was friendly and guests who eat gluten and lactose free were also well catered for. We had a nice evening.

Good food, large portions, not expensive at all, and very nice that the chef personally came to everyone to ask if they liked it.

We ate here at the last table. Cozy restaurant with decidedly friendly service. Unfortunately, the food was - to our taste - of inferior quality. Also provided as constructive feedback as an answer to the question at the table. The taste was very average and even greasy across the board. The warmer vegetable mix was sour, overcooked and tasteless. The mixed grill was more of a fish pan where I couldn't tell whether the fish came from the grill. All in all, only the fried potatoes were actually okay. The chef himself came to the tables for feedback, which is certainly a plus. Tip: Season the dishes more. Serve the mixed grill with a sauce on the side. The presentation was certainly fun. With more flavor it is definitely worth it.

Delicious food, good value for money.

To hand in a Groupon voucher, I sit there with my girlfriend. They no longer accept Groupon even though they are on the Groupon site. We were turned away with just looking for something off the menu and we didn't think we could pay for it. Leave the drinks and never come here again.

Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van de catering voor 35 personen Iedereen vond het heerlijk en er was meer dan genoeg

Heel gezellig aangekleed binnen gezellige sfeer en de mixed grill was voortreffelijk

Wij hebben Jasmijn gevraagd voor 40 man de catering te verzorgen. Het was verbluffend goed. Smaakvol, divers, veel verschillende gerechten. ongekend nivo. Een absolute aanrader. En zeer punctueel in de afspraken. Veertig mensen hebben genoten. Prijs - kwaliteit: prima!

Lekker gegeten. We hadden geen hele hoge verwachtingen, maar we waren blij verrast..De aankleding van de zaak is leuk. Bediening is aardig. Wel een puntje van aandacht is dat wij werden bediend door iemand die alleen Engels sprak. Voor ons geen probleem, maar voor iemand anders misschien wel.

Hebben hier zaterdag gegeten via laatste tafeltje Personeel was vriendelijk We hadden gekozen voor de mixed grill met salade zag er volgens het plaatje goed uit maar op het bord toch wel wat minder 2 kleine spiesjes met hele kleine stukjes vlees 1 mini worstje en 1 hamburgertje ik heb ze nog nooit zo klein gezien ze smaakten wel goed maar normaal krijg ik toch wel een andere mixed grill

Heerlijk (teveel) gegeten. Jammer dat er niet een beetje glutenvrij brood was. Bij reservering hadden we dit aangegeven. Desondanks een mooie score voor dit fijne restaurant.

Een gezellig restaurantje, leuke bediening ( misschien beetje onervaren, maar je moet ook de kans krijgen om te leren), heerlijk eten en dmv social deals enorm zacht prijsje. Dmv die deals is er een tijd gereserveerd, je hebt dan al de keuze gemaakt van wat jij wilt (wij namen de mixed grill). Je krijgt dan de keuze uit vlees of vis. Je krijgt een keuze uit couscous, rijst, aardappelgratin of aardappelpartjes. Je krijgt er salade, ratatouille en 4 verschillende stukken vlees bij. Je betaalt dan nog voor het drinken en het toetje. Ik merkte op dat er mensen waren die dachten dat het compleet all in was, of zelfs dat je dan iets anders kunt gaan kiezen qua eten (en dan moeilijk gaan doen). Wij hebben in ieder geval genoten .

Heerlijk gegeten vanavond. Proeverij via Social Deal geregeld. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en, kunnen veel restaurants iets van leren, de kok kwam langs met de vraag of alles naar wens was en had gesmaakt. Nou dat had het allemaal. Dikke top!!

Afgelopen zondag hier gegeten. Via social deal gereserveerd. We hebben van binnenkomst ruim 45 minuten moeten wachten op ons voorgerecht. De bediening was onervaren en wist niet eens hoe een kurk van een fles moest. Het eten dat we kregen was lekker, maar het duurde allemaal erg lang. Ipv alcoholvrij bier wat besteld was kregen we radler 0,0. Bij het betalen werd er te veel afgerekend, hier kwamen wij buiten achter. Toen we dit gingen vragen binnen werd verteld een tikkie te sturen. Het eten was wel heerlijk

Essen war günstig und lecker. Eine Flasche Wein für nur 16.45 € im Restaurant war sehr günstig. Draußen auf dem Bürgersteig gab es 4 Tische. Die Sauberkeit ließ leider etwas zu wünschen übrig. Tische waren nicht abgewischt und ein Teller war nicht ganz sauber.

Heel lekker gegeten! Veelzijdige proeverij, lekkere vegetarische opties. Vriendelijk personeel, snelle service en super goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Binnen hele gezellige sfeer.

One of the best restaurants ive been to in groningen. My husband and i go there for our date nights. Romantic and the atmosphere is just great but more especially their food. The chef sometimes even comes out to say hi and ask how the food is like. I really enjoy everytime we go here. Just had to write a review, i love their food.

We hebben hier met de familie heerlijk gegeten!

Heerlijk gegeten met acht vrienden. We hadden van alles wat besteld met o.a. couscous, falavel, gehaktballetjes, kipgerechten en een groentegerecht, salade en een soort rösti. Vriendelijk personeel.

Heerlijk eten, een lekkere tap biertje erbij, leuke attente bediening, lage prijzen en in het geheel een gezellige fijne sfeer. Kortom wat wil je nog meer.Zaterdag 10-06-2023 samen met anderen er weer gegeten. We hadden een proeverij van verschillende gerechten. Het was allemaal lekker kom er zeker nog wel eens weer.

Heel lekker gegeten, de proeverij gehad. Mooie mix van lekkere gerechten. Fijne ongedwongen sfeer en heel vriendelijk personeel.

Het eten was heerlijk! Maar wel echt heel weinig. Dit hoorde een 3 gangen menu voor te stellen… heel weinig vlees. 2 stukjes kip op een stokje.. alsof het restjes waren. Dat was jammer. Hopelijk hebben jullie hier wat aan! Je trekt meer klanten als je ook meer serveert! Het eten was wel van goed kwaliteit. Ik zou wel voortaan iemand van de bediening vooraan laten staan zodat die gene ons begeleidt naar een tafel. Nu waren we zomaar in het restaurant aan het wachten waar mensen aten.. niet zo netjes

Wij hadden een proeverij van allerlei gerechten, heerlijk !! Super aardig personeel en vlotte bediening, echt een aanrader!
