Café right by the dune. Delicious warm apple tart with vanilla sauce. The cookie is also highly recommended. The coffee and homemade lemonade are delicious.

Such a cool place. The menu is full of mouthwatering vegan options, a surprising find in this area! The curry I took with naan bread was very nourishing. There are some skilled baristas at work too! Unfortunately I'm not often around, but can't wait to try more from the menu.

Had a delicious breakfast this morning. They're one of the few places that opens at a good time, so you can have breakfast early. The staff is very friendly. Just add Spite or 7up to the drinks 😉.

Front-row dining at tourist attractions is very rarely exciting, innovative, and frankly, very rarely good. The Joop DIRECTLY on the (rightly) popular Klimduin is an excellent exception: a small, fine menu with great coffee and delicious, sophisticated snacks (something different: not a front-row menu in the best sense of the word), SUPER relaxed and friendly people (the owner is bursting with positive energy), and a consistent good style right down to the toilet brush. (No spoilers, see for yourself!) The dune is great (for kids, of course, but also as part of a top day trip through the beautiful Schoorl dune landscape), but the Joop is just as good. Go there!

We were here for lunch and had a kids' toss with cheese and ham, a kimchi toss, a Caesar chicken toss, and fries. For dessert, we had a turmeric chai latte, a hot chocolate, and an Americano. The service was attentive and gave good recommendations for beers, so we ordered a Kwaremont Pittig Blonde, which was very good. The toss were amazing: great flavor, the bread soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, the portions were perfect and the fries were lovingly presented. The fries were okay, but not the best. The warm apple pie with custard and cream was just as excellent as the main course. The atmosphere was relaxed, we had a good chat, and we played one of the games from the cupboard before eating. Highly recommended!

We were there for breakfast today. It was no problem at all that we shared the scrambled eggs on bread and then the pancakes. We got a second plate and two cutlery sets for each course. The scrambled eggs and pancakes were delicious.

Had a lovely lunch. Flamkuchen and banana protein pancakes with a perfect cappuccino. It was also very nice to be helped by attentive and friendly staff. Very relaxed and no fuss.

Very nice breakfast place. Not too fancy, more relaxed and hip. You sit at colorful tables, and the service is friendly, fast, and attentive. The portions are very, very large and the food is good. Definitely good value for money! We'd be happy to go again!

With respect to all other catering establishments in Schoorl and surroundings, but Joop is by far the best with coffee & something with it and lunch. Super tasty coffee, cakes and delicious lunch dishes (organic, vegetarian and vegan); not the standard "tourist food". Big plus points are the relaxed atmosphere, the smoke-free terrace and the race/MTB storage on the terrace.

Great place for breakfast, snacks, or coffee. We received very friendly and attentive service. The place is lovingly decorated, and the food and drinks are truly delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

For the best cappuccinos you definitely have to go here! And the pancakes were fantastic—my regular breakfast spot when I stay in Schoorl.

Really good coffee, and the food was fantastic too. Perfect for coffee-loving parents, because you can sit and relax while the kids play on the dune within sight.

Delicious food! Toasties and the frappucino are very good. The only downside is that a lunch with drinks is quite expensive here. The portions of the drinks are also on the small side. You pay 5.50,- for a small glass of frappucino... that is allowed in a long drink!

Super delicious coconut soup, just like in Thailand. We had a lovely time sitting outside with the dog.

We had seats outside and it was very uncomfortable, loud and hectic. The tables and chairs are not cleaned and everything is a bit sticky. The food was OK. The staff friendly. Our glasses were dirty. When we asked, we got new glasses, but again they were dirty. Hygiene should definitely be worked on here! Then give 1-2 stars more.

Nice atmosphere, both inside and outside. Very friendly staff who speak both German and English. Large selection of food and drinks to suit every taste! The restaurant pays attention to its ecological footprint and only offers card payments and has banned plastic packaging - very good! The food tasted excellent, the drinks were very tasty and so was the cake. I also think it's great that there is a cycling community behind the café. They offer social rides and other events. If I had more time I would definitely have come to a social ride!

Had a very tasty masala sandwich, highly recommended! My wife had a cappuccino with a delicious homemade apple pie. The best she's had in a while!! Also ordered 1 extra to take with her, she received an extra large piece. A top quality company with good service and very friendly staff!

Wanted to grab a quick snack around lunchtime and came across this cute restaurant. This restaurant offers many different vegan variations. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive. We sat comfortably in the sun on the terrace. What we also noticed positively is that the restaurant pays attention to its biological footprint and therefore offers almost no meat at all on the menu. A recommendation for vegans!

There are moments when, after a few 5-star experiences, you feel like a 5 is not enough in comparison. The Joop in Schoorl is definitely one of them. You can't get a more deserving 5 stars! Nice ambience, cozy and calm. We had coffee and, for example, the protein pancakes - see photo. An absolute taste sensation and totally exceptional compared to all the standard offerings in other cafés. We will definitely be back - unreservedly and urgently recommended to visit! 😊

We've been here four times this week because it's just great. Very nice people, great ambience, smoke-free terrace, lots of organic food and everything is absolutely delicious. Our highlight is blueberry pancakes and Mexican toast.

We had a delicious meal here. We thought it was a shame that you could only pay by card. Even if I had known that, I would have eaten somewhere else. We don't pay too much by card to teach our children how to handle money and show what something costs. Furthermore, a cozy place with good food.

Went to Joop's last Sunday. I love specialty coffee cafes, especially in combination with cycling ;-). I didn't know Joop yet. You expect good espresso and apple pie, both of which are top notch. Authentic apple pie, a good piece and strong espresso. But perhaps more important is the atmosphere, casual, warm and appropriate. This is also due to the staff, easily alert and friendly. We accidentally came into contact with the owner (Marjolein ??) on the terrace. She completely customizes the cafe restaurant and focuses on quality, atmosphere and more. #respectforthechoices. Definitely come back here, ... too bad we live so far away ;-)

Nice place. I had the flatbread with grilled vegetables, which now clearly had something wrong with it, exactly 8 hours after lunch everything came out again... too bad :( Response: nice and fortunate that no one else was bothered by it (!) It was my main meal of the day, but then it simply 'went wrong', as we call it. I was very ill for 24 hours, then everything was fine again. I don't live nearby, thanks for the response.

Had a delicious brunch on a very busy sunny Sunday. Despite the crowds, the friendly server took his time and gave the necessary attention to the terrace visitors. The apple pie was great! Really tasty. I had a delicious brunch. Well prepared with a short waiting time! Beautiful location at the foot of the climbing dune. And the name JOOP!.. is also my father's name. After a walk in Schoorl, we settled on the terrace at JOOP. Had a delicious cappuccino and a tasty slice of banana bread. The service was fast and friendly.

We tasted the "tastiest apple pie in the area" here on the recommendation of people who live nearby. Indeed it is delicious! Staff are friendly and do their utmost to make you as comfortable as possible. The children can have fun playing on the climbing dune, which is highly recommended. There is a tap with delicious fresh water, sometimes containing cucumber, mint or other delicacies, which you can get for FREE. It's the little things that make it unique at JOOP. Until next time!

This is a nice place in Schoorl to have an honest and delicious breakfast, lunch, brunch or just enjoy a good cappuccino, chai, tea or other delicacies. Everything is made in-house with honest ingredients and you can taste it. There is a heart in this business, with a healthy and playful presentation of the staff. After a very bad night's sleep, your fantastic breakfast helped us get through the day. Super place, super service, super food. Deliciously creamy Californian grilled cheese with chicken and horseradish, just right avocado toast with perfectly soft scrambled eggs and spicy oil for the kick. The coffees were great, the smoothies were a treat and the service was more than good; hardly seen as professionally. Friendly, fast and adequate. Really a reason for us to take a detour on the way from Texel to Amsterdam. Many thanks!!

We had waited 30 minutes for our lunch, and when it arrived the disappointment was even worse, scrumble eggs turned out to be without any imagination, what a lazy chef!! Get rid of it!! Or change your dishes, look on Pinterest for plenty of inspiration! The pancakes were burnt and way too brown...I wouldn't dare serve them to my dog! What's going on here? In any case, I will never come back.

Super cool location with a nice terrace. Extensive range of drinks and food. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes too. Dogs welcome and when the sun is shining it's great to sit on the terrace. We had Toasti XL Mexican style and california and Mexican huevos shakshuka and enjoyed everything very much. Oh yes and the apple pie was also very tasty :-)

Always wonderful to have breakfast, lunch or just a nice drink or snack here. The food and drinks are both fantastic, contemporary, sustainable and just really tasty. There is more than enough choice for everyone, even for people who eat vegan or have limited eating habits due to certain allergies. Not the simple salad that is actually very boring and not tasty, but several dishes, bites and even vegan chocolate milk with vegan whipped cream is available. I come here regularly with my children and/or friends. What I also love is that Joop is open early, so you can also have a delicious breakfast or have a quiet cup of coffee after the morning rush hour of taking the children to school or enjoy the tranquility of the climbing dune with your feet in the sand and a nice cup of tea. Recommended!

We sat in the early March sun on Saturday and had lunch with a friend. Food tasted good. Nice and varied menu, many vegetarian and vegan options. My plate was surrounded by the Flatbread pita with falafel and burrata. I thought the combination of falafel and burrata was a special choice, but it was tasty.bPortion could have been a bit larger in my opinion, as could the Gimber Matcha Latte.

Best toastie I've ever eaten! Toastie with kimchi, avocado, vegan cheese and gochujang mayonnaise. The apple cake with vanilla sauce is also an absolute dream! The service was very friendly and attentive. It's a shame that we can't enjoy this more often, unfortunately it was only possible on vacation :-)
