Absolutely amazing Persian Omtele, the best in Netherlands and a must-try if you're in The Hague

I am staying in the area and walked a little out of the way to come here for brunch. I was so disappointed. Service was fine but very stale, hardly any eye contact/ smiles etc. Coffee okay. Food was pretty bad. Had a vegan option (was okay but very expensive for what it was)and eggs with chicken. The chicken was weird and kind of pink and strange looking and the whole thing didn’t taste that great. I’m surprised by all the good reviews to be honest!

Unfortunately, I only had a coffee here, so I can't rate the food. The flat white was delicious and was prepared by the chef himself (I think) with speed, precision, and skill. I also really liked the atmosphere of the café. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely try the food.

The cappuccino was OK. The porridge was a disappointment. It was watered down and therefore completely tasteless. I left it alone. When I complained about it when paying, they didn't object to me only paying for the coffee. Very good.

The café itself is really nicely decorated and looks very inviting at first glance. The food was okay, but definitely too expensive for the portions. But what really made the stay disappointing was the service: we waited a full 45 minutes for anyone to come to us. It was unclear whether you would be served at the table or have to order yourself - and even after that everything went very strangely. The interaction was distant and simply not cordial. I don't know if it's because of my skin color (I'm black), but it was a very unpleasant and strange experience. I don't want to insinuate anything, but the interaction didn't feel right. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the store.

Cozy tent but the food is a joke; factory made everything and very meager portions with a fairly high price tag. Not recommended. Edit: no mistake! I got a white sandwich with a mediocre slice of cheese for toast, no generification, nothing. I believe it cost around 6 to 7 euros?! I wish I had taken a picture of it.

A great café in a very cozy atmosphere. We had breakfast here. Particularly noteworthy are vegan dishes and very good coffee. Smoothies were also very tasty. Simply beautiful and worth a visit! We are already looking forward to the next visit! Thank you!

I really love the atmosphere, very peace full ,chill vibe, relax and we tries the speciality of today. The saffron tea & pudding. It was yummy. The only advice maybe next time can try the saffron pudding on room temperature :)

The coffee and Juice bar&HQ shared the activity with Kafnush. We ordered a fresh herb fritata priced at the price of €9.50. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing: the food didn’t taste fresh, and the bottom was still frozen, suggesting it was likely a pre-frozen meal reheated before being served. We could not eat it. We also had a small espresso, a latte macchiato, and a cappuccino, which were average. Although the staff was kind and the place was quiet, we don’t plan on coming back again. Total expenses was 20.60€.

had brunch twice since arriving in den Haag, and will come back many more times. there are plenty of options on the menu for every meal of the day, and gluten free options. I had the "beyond omelette with focaccia" and a matcha latte, and it was top notch. the service is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere inside is spacious and relaxing, and there are outside tables for the 2 days a year when it's not raining. highly recommended.

We were very surprised how good the food tasted. We were their when they first opened so the service was very fast. We ate everything even though the portion size was generous.

We were visiting this amazing place again today. Beyond omlette was perfect as usually and cappuccino one of the best I have ever had. Huge respect for the music. Kaleida / Bishop Briggs / Adele made a great start of the day.

Nice tent, tasty smoothie and tea. We both had a sandwich, but it could really have been bigger. It's actually a portion size of half a sandwich. And then 6.50 is quite a lot of money. Too bad because it was delicious.

The dishes were delicious and clearly used fresh ingredients. I got the egg stack avocado and açai bowl. My mom got the beyond omelette and we recommend all three! The service was great and the atmosphere was chill and calming.

Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful brunch with a friend at this charming café. The atmosphere was wonderfully cozy, with warm lighting and a super welcoming staff. I savored a perfectly brewed coffee paired with a fluffy, flavorful omelet that was cooked to perfection. My friend opted for one of many teas and a tomato soup. The cafe is only 5 min from the sea on foot and it’s definitely a spot I’d recommend.

I have mixed feelings... on the one hand I think it is highly recommended, on the other hand there are also a number of things that are just a bit "off", which makes me choose not to come more regularly. . The food is generally VERY TASTY (with capital letters) and clearly made with attention. I personally think it's all a bit on the pricey side for what you get. That has more to do with quantity than quality. For example €13.50 for 4 quarters of focaccia with eggplant spread. The menu says "with salad", which is just some lettuce leaves... You pay €0.60 for plant-based milk in the cappuccino! extra and for decaffeinated coffee €0.70! a decaffeinated cappuccino with oat milk therefore amounts to €5.10! In response to another comment about this, they responded that the costs have simply increased and they could close their doors if they do not adjust the prices. And that the review therefore felt "not fair". Even a 4-star review can have a negative impact. In my opinion, this illustrates the situation they are in, catering everywhere has of course become a lot more expensive due to costs and the consumer is also more critical as more has to be paid. But yes, that review is just stating a fact... to call it "not fair" that someone gives 4 stars instead of 5 is an inappropriate and unprofessional response. I would come more often if the prices were just a little bit cheaper. Not much, and not everything, but for example I would not regularly have a coffee there for 5.10 (which I would probably also have something tasty with!) and for 3.80 (normal cappuccino - which unfortunately I cannot drink ) well. Maybe even two. And maybe if the salad were a little more elaborate than just some green leaves, the dish wouldn't feel a bit skimpy for the amount. In my opinion, that is also the art of a good catering company.... I find the service variable. Sometimes you really get a friendly living room feeling (that's how it is decorated and I think intended), but just as often there is a kind of absent aloofness. Or that someone is on the phone during checkout. This has caused me to omit the tip a number of times. This is my honest review. And in all honesty, I definitely recommend going there at least once.

Unfortunately, the price is different for vegan versions since the new menu. This lowers my review slightly. Delicious coffee/smoothies and cake, just a normal portion, not half a cup that you often get these days. Unfortunately I cannot respond to the response I received. My review previously stated that a vegan version of coffee did not entail additional costs, which is why my review has been adjusted. I understand that the costs have gone up, but if more has to be paid for a vegan cappuccino, then I will not state in my review that this is not the case. I certainly understand, but I also find it a shame that this specific point has been adjusted. That is why my review has gone down a bit. If there were no additional costs for a vegan version I probably wouldn't have done that.

Cozy place, a lot of nice breakfast options. Service was fast and super friendly but the toilets were nasty with pee on seat, blood on door, very little soap and dust everywhere. Such a shame as the rest was very nice but it always leaves a bad impression.

What a wonderful thing this is! I recently moved to Scheveningen and came from the beach and felt like having coffee. I was helped very friendly and drank delicious coffee and ate a super tasty piece of apple pie! You'll see me more often!

Had a nice lunch here with Fococcia bread with salmon and long black. They have a good choice of items on the menu for a reasonable price. Service is friendly but not super fast but we were not in a rush. Quite cosy place.

The foccacia was terrible, drier than the mojama, it had hair. The staff were very rude, the tables were very sticky. The restaurant smelled like mypalo. I don't recommend going if you are gay or orphan because they will discriminate against you.

Coffeebar Kafnush is a cosy and inviting place in Kijserstraat run by a friendly Iranian family. This is the place to spend time with your friends, read a book or work while enjoying lovely food, and incredible green smoothie and really, really good coffee.

I tried the Omelette and tea, I think it has a lovely atmosphere and the quality of the food is excellent. It is a good place to relax and work, be sure to try it :)

💶 first visit: We payed €15 for 2 drinks + 1 cake. 💶 second visit: We payed €33 for 2 drinks + 2 meals + 1 cake. ☕️ Chai latte was extremely delicious, however, the matcha latte not ❌🍵. I assume it was not made with ceremonial matcha powder. It looked a bit dull, see pics. Second visit i ordered mint tea. Can’t go wrong with that. 🍰 the vegan banana cake was sweet and tasty. It had a moist chewy texture accompanied with crunchy nuts. We ordered it again when we came back 2 weeks later. 🥪 just the right amount. It leaves room for dessert 🤪 ✅ a nice touch: you can choose almond/oat milk without having to pay extra. ⏳ we received our order quickly. 🛋️ The overall interior had a cosy look.
