This is one of the few places in the Netherlands where you can still enjoy good quality Greek food and the service is also typically Greek, hospitable. Great place where I will definitely come back!

Wouldn't go in here if I was walking past it, but because of the great reviews I stopped by on my way from Brabant to Ahoy. And not disappointed, on the contrary! When you enter you feel like you are in a restaurant on the beach in Greece. (Don't look outside :-)) Delicious food. Large portions. More than worth the price. Very nice, funny, nice owner, who gives you a warm welcome. Despite the crowds (Saturday evening) he is very friendly. (How hard that man works!!) Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Keep in mind that it may take a while before you get your food, but it is well worth the wait. We got another bowl of rice pudding to take home. We will definitely come back here more often. Thank you, Leonidas, we enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful experience at this cozy Greek restaurant with my spouse. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. You really get value for your money here. Really authentic Greek food. Often there is a wait, but more than worth it. Owner, a real Greek, also prepares the food and always has a chat with you.

This is definitely the best takeaway business in Barendrecht!! I always receive a very friendly welcome and have a nice chat with the chef. I am often offered free things such as rice porridge and smoothies. Even if you cannot pay enough at the moment, you can come back at another time to pay it. The food that matters in the end is amazing! It is really top quality!!!!!

Food is traditionally tasty, made with a lot of attention and love. Owner is really a great guy. This was my first time at El Greco but certainly not the last!

Such a cool place!!! It is very cozy and the food is incredible. The chef was singing to some greek music and I think my plate was a little bigger than normal haha. I was very hungry so I wasn’t hard to please and if you like it fancy, this is not the place. But if you want some authentic gyros this is the place!

You won't find better Greek food here in the Netherlands. The owner works hard to prepare the tastiest dishes for you. With us he was on his own and it was very busy, so we had to wait a while. However, it was definitely worth the wait, and I have to respect how the owner makes it all happen. We will definitely come and pick up something again!

Came to eat for the first time yesterday. It is prepared with a lot of love and passion and you can taste it. It was too much for me and I was allowed to take it with me. When we left we were given a bowl of desert to take home, it was very tasty.

We hebben al vaak Grieks gegeten, maar wat deze man klaarmaakt is bijzonder goed en lekker. 't Is ook nog eens een hele aardige kerel.

Zojuist eten gehaald hier,moussaka en mixed grill. Echt goed en lekker klaargemaakt

De lekkerste Griek!! Zeker weten. Ja, je moet ff wachten, maar dat is de smaak en het eten zeker waard.

Je gaat voor een broodje gyros , die echt heerlijk is . Maar wat de kok dan vers heeft bereidt wil en moet je ook telkens proeven 👌👌

Klein stukje Griekenland in Barendrecht! Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaar met een passie voor lekker eten. El greco onderscheidt zich van andere lokale Griekse restaurants doordat alle gerechten vers bereid worden en het eten smaakt zoals je het ook in Griekenland geserveerd zou kunnen krijgen. Wij rijden graag één keer in de zoveel tijd naar Barendrecht om echt Grieks te eten. Het voelt iedere keer als een korte vakantie. Let op! Verwacht geen groot restaurant. Het is meer een afhaalrestaurantje waar je ook gezellig kan zitten.

This is the place to be, als je van lekker Grieks eten houdt! De eigenaar is een lieverd en doet er alles aan om zijn klanten blij te maken! Ik haal hier regelmatig af, maar ik heb ook een paar keer catering besteld voor circa 30 personen bij El Greco. Alles keurig afgeleverd met chafing dishes en scheplepels. Top Griek!!!!

Geweldig restaurant, hij doet alles in zijn eentje alles is vers, neem dus wat tijd mee om te wachten maar dat is het dubbel waard!!! Tijdens het wachten een gezellig muziekje aan en genieten van de Griekse sfeer

De lekkerste Griek in de regio. Soms staat op thuisbezorgd gesloten, maar dan heeft hij geen bezorger en kun je wel afhalen.

Bij het afhalen is het alsof je een restaurantje in Griekenland binnenstapt. Er worden zeer verse ingrediënten gebruikt en dat proef je! Voor ons het lekkerste Griekse eten in Barendrecht en omstreken.

It's not only the food that tastese like the real Greek food but the owner/chef is also Greek and brings the real Greek atmosphere, love that place.

Dat de hartige gerechten top waren wist ik al een tijdje, maar vandaag waren de taartpunten ook een 10/10. Altijd goed, altijd vriendelijk en zal zeker vaker terugkomen!

Heerlijk eten. Bijzonder gastvrij en vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker terug.

Gisteren geweest 18:00 gebeld voor tafel om 19:00. Weer ongelooflijk heerlijk eten van top kwaliteit. En ja vlees hoort knapperig en een beetje stevig te zijn volgens authentiek Grieks recept bereid. Verdiend 2 Michelin sterren🌟🌟super kok!!! Zeer gastvrij, alles zelf gemaakt vanaf de pita.
