Kardinaalspaleis in Cuijk

A while ago I enjoyed cycling in the area. Judging from the sky it was raining, so I quickly looked on Google to see where there was a nice cafe nearby to take shelter. We ended up at the Cardinal Palace. In itself a bit of a strange place for a café, but once inside you will be amazed at what you find. A wonderful atmosphere, as if you are coming home. Cozy seating areas with candlelight everywhere, really very romantic. We asked if we could eat something because we were quite hungry and the menu looked excellent. Unfortunately we were told that the cook had called in sick and that the kitchen was unfortunately closed. But the owner could make us a sandwich or bake a sandwich. So I ordered it and couldn't believe what a job he had made of it. Lots of vegetables, 4 eggs, bacon and onions, really overwhelming. When we asked for the bill we were given the drinks on the house because he was so sorry that we couldn't eat a decent meal. You don't experience this anymore in the Netherlands. As soon as I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. Truly a TOP tent and ditto service/owner. This cafe is really worthy of 5 stars!!!!

Great Hospitality. I was there a while ago with an old aunt of mine who lives in Germany. She is German. Well, this Aunt Ursula was full of praise, good food, but moreover she enjoyed the delicious drinks. And she thinks the atmosphere and service are very good. And that says something when someone from Germany says this. Whenever we have telephone contact, she keeps talking about it. I go there more often

This cafe is one of my favorites so far! Location somewhat special, but the welcome is so warm. Very hospitable young man who has really done his best to make it a top pub. No time or effort has been spared on the cozy interior. Cozy, homely café where you can order anything, huge stock, nothing is too crazy. If you are in Cuijk, don't hesitate to consider this café!! We highly recommend it.

Let me get straight to the point; what a beautiful tent this is! The steak is cooked perfectly (medium rare is really medium rare!!) and the wines flow. If I could have given 6 stars, they would definitely have been awarded to this place😍

My boyfriend and I were taking a romantic walk together until we came across this place. It immediately caught our attention. Beautiful interior with a pleasant hostess and host! The KKV plank (cardinal cheese meat plank) is highly recommended. We will definitely come here more often!! That's why 5 stars for these great ones!!!

Nicest café in Cuijk. Really super cozy atmosphere and a top hostess and host! I've been stranded here several evenings, definitely worth a spontaneous visit. A piece of Ibiza in the Brabant area!

Fantastic place. Leave your spine at home, because there is a good chance you will lose it here. Chapeau to the hostess/host. After an evening at the Cardinal's Palace, you will never want to go anywhere else for a good drink.

Bijzonder leuke gastvrouw en gastheer. Wijn stond altijd goed koud en ontzettend veel variatie van kazen. Al met al; een goed verstopt pareltje.

Prachtig terras met betrokken personeel. Diverse wijnkaart en leuke cocktails! Aanrader!

Op het eerste oogpunt al fantastich! Geen parkeerplaatsen voor auto’s. Je moet dus met de fiets/benenwagen/uber komen. Verder is het terras aangekleed volgens de nieuwste trends, zo ook zijn de drankjes en de Kardinaalsplank altijd van de hoogste kwaliteit. Zeker het bezoeken waard!

Hier gestopt voor een borrel tijdens mijn fietstocht. Gastvrij ontvangen en uiteindelijk ook maar niet verder gefietst en de koelkast baas gemaakt.
