We had to wait a little bit to get in, but the wait was definitely worth it! This is the best brunch I’ve ever had, the pancakes were so soft and had delicious marscapone between them, with roasted apple slices and a banana on top! My wife had the sweetcorn fritters which were absolutely delicious. The drinks were absolutely delicious as well, my tiramisu latte was the best and the passionfruit lemonade was also delicious.

Nice and cozy; my girlfriend and I always look forward to having a nice drink here, and of course a slice of cake too. Last Friday we thoroughly enjoyed a tasty Ube coconut; now we have bought a bag of Ube ourselves too, good job! Keep up the good work, Wendy and Luci

There's a sign at the entrance saying you should wait here, but that's a lie. If you stand there waiting, the waitresses will completely ignore you; they'll only call the people behind you. After a few times, you'll realize she never seems to ask you, and then you'll find there's a line of people three meters away. I suggest the restaurant stop putting up this misleading and infuriating sign, or at least improve staff training: for example, reminding customers to queue at the back instead of ignoring them. I guess the restaurant doesn't care because they don't lack customers.

Of course the coffee is great, but try the sandeiches as well; the bread is soo good!

Excellent food prepared with taste and imagination, beautifully presented, and served with extreme kindness by the wait staff. The children's menu is mostly desserts; my daughter really enjoyed the pancakes 😉. When we return to Delft, we will definitely repeat this wonderful experience!!

Very nice little coffee shop with a homey atmosphere. The coffee tasted very good and was served nicely. You even got free water on the table. The food we saw passing by looked very good too. The service was also very friendly. Definitely recommended to stop by if you are in the area.

What a wonderful experience at this place on the Voldersgracht. It is incredibly atmospheric and exactly what you need for a relaxing moment in the center of Delft. The cappuccino was truly perfectly brewed, including beautiful latte art in the shape of a heart. The fresh tea with a slice of lemon and a wooden honey dropper was also a huge hit. Everything was served on beautiful wooden boards, which gives the whole experience just that little extra touch. I will be back here very soon. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good coffee and a nice presentation.

The ambiance, service, drinks, and food—everything was perfect. We waited a maximum of 30 seconds to be seated, even though it was market day and the city was quite busy. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the team was incredibly friendly and attentive. Speaking English wasn't a problem after we initially tried Dutch. We will definitely return to Delft and will definitely go there again <3

This casual, cozy café in Delft's historical center is a true gem! Kek is without a doubt the best coffee and lunch bar in Delft! I come here several times a month and it never disappoints me. The food is delicious and there is also a wide selection of vegan options. The coffee and other drinks are always top quality. Additionally, the atmosphere is incredibly cozy and intimate, making it a lovely place to relax or meet up. What makes Kek truly special is the service. The staff are always incredibly friendly, hospitable, and work quickly. The owner, Fleur, radiates warmth and ensures that you feel welcome immediately. The service is so good that I automatically compare every new coffee or lunch spot to Kek, and honestly, nothing comes close to Kek's level. I recommend Kek to anyone looking for delicious food, good coffee, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, friendly service..

There are some places that make you wish you lived in the city you're visiting. KEK is undeniably one of them. The decor is exquisite. The service was impeccable both times we went: patient, smiling, dynamic, and cheerful. And what can I say about the food? Generous, refined, with beautifully presented dishes. Simply exceptional.

What I love most about the place is that they have gluten free options available. They can change the bread to gluten free and they also offer a small treat next to your coffee, gluten free as well.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere it is the attitude of the people that upsets me. I'm a resident of Delft and used to frequent Kek every day if not alternate days for coffee and butter cookies. I've often visited for lunch, etc but off late I've noticed some sense of exclusion/ xenophobic attitude which I find deeply disturbing. Hope you can respect the patrons of the city who constantly support your cafe.

Had lunch here on a rainy day. The atmosphere was youthful and the food was wholesome.

I have visited kek often with my child for an after school treat and experienced a range quality in service and food here, but recently have become more aware of xenophobic behavior from the staff and no longer consider this a safe/comfortable place to spend my money. There was a time recently when we were offered a "half portion" of the avocado smash, but the price was only €1 cheaper than the original. Didn't feel good about the value offered in the portion for the price, but the server had already rushed off from her shift as soon as she served it, so I didn't bother mentioning it. The portion sizes for desserts varies quite a bit as well. One time you may get a big decadent and well-plated cinnamon roll or cherry cheesecake, and the next time it might look like someone just offhandedly found a small slice and put it on the plate without care. It feels a bit cheap to be served that way but then to still be charged full price - there should be a higher standard for service that lives up to image they are trying to create in the cafe. These differences I never brought up to the staff out of generosity, but I cannot overlook xenophobia and racism, which is why I am changing my review to reflect the lower quality I've observed in recent months. I found enough other reviews here indicating that this is not an isolated experience to be treated differently due to race and/or foreignness. It is unacceptable to treat people flippantly or with disdain due to speaking Dutch imperfectly or with an accent. The city of Delft (and the larger Dutch economy) relies on international migrants who come here to work and study, and this cafe is frequently patronized by foreign-born tourists as well as longer term immigrants like myself. But we are not dependent on some snobby cafe to live our lives here. Show respect to your clientèle or lose them.

Very good coffee, water on the table, but the pancakes with caramelized fruit recommended by the staff are truly below par. Not caramelized, just a few slices of raw apple, with a whole bowl of brown sugar. A complaint went unanswered. A shame, especially for such a nice place. In the end, paid €17 for a coffee.

I would give this 6 stars if I could, it was a really nice find as I was walking around Delft! The carrot cake was not too sweet, and the strawberry matcha was nicely made too, honestly one of my favourite snack places in the Netherlands The staff was extremely friendly as well, which made the overall experience really enjoyable; put me in a good mood for the rest of the day :)

Cozy atmosphere! With a real living room in the back where you can also eat, very nice! On top of that, the food is delicious and you can really taste that everything is fresh💚. I had the Nut Dream tea and oh boy, was it tasty. And for food, the Coen Fritter Stack, and I can say the same about that one. Definitely, definitely recommended!

All those girls were working hard and it looked like they were having a good time together, nice to see. We were looking for a vegan/vegetarian restaurant for our cousin from India. Kek is really great, and the staff is very knowledgeable about all the ingredients in each meal. The service is also super cheerful and friendly.

One of the best cafés in Delft! The carpaccio on bread was absolutely finger-licking good — so fresh and full of flavor. The pancakes were pure heaven, soft and perfectly made. And the açaí smoothie bowl was the final touch of refreshingly perfect goodness. A must-visit spot if you’re in Delft!

Fantastic brunch spot with super friendly service. I went here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon with a friend. There was a waiting list, but luckily we only waited 10 minutes. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations. The staff is very friendly, the coffee is excellent, and the food was fantastic. There was also a small play area in the back of the restaurant for children. I will definitely be back!

Been several times over the years, was a bit sad that the butterfly lattes and other special lattes aren't on the menu anymore. But I understand that maybe it is not so popular. Liked the chai latte that I had though. And their baked goods are always good too. The presentation is always beautiful and staff are always very friendly.

I found this place based on reviews, and it was a really good choice. It was packed because it was the antiques market, but we only waited 15 minutes. The food was really good quality and beautifully presented. They don't serve themselves, but it was fine. I had the best apple pie I've had since living in the Netherlands. Congratulations, we'll definitely be back to try more.

Such an amazing brunch spot in Delft! I went on a sunday with my mother. We were immediately approached by a server and told that they would have a table cleared very soon. The wait was about 10 minutes. Kek serves good coffee with beautiful latte art. The pineapple smoothie was also delicious. What makes Kek stand out the most is the incredible plating of the food, which makes you feel like your eating from an artwork on a plate. The sweet potato cheddar waffles were soft and decadent and definitely my favorite menu item here. Speaking about the menu, kek offers a great variaty of sweet and savory dishes as well as some delicious sandwiches (definitely recommend the green asperge one) and some vibrant refreshing smoothie bowls. It's also very vegan/ vegetarian-friendly. While the entire place was filled with people, the noice wasn´t overwelming. The service was excellent with extremely welcoming servers. The place is beautifully decorated with its cozy living-room-like astmosphere. It's filled with sofa's and cozy chairs creating a warm and charming vibe. Perfect for a coffee meet-up with friends or to have a lovely brunch.

We came for the food and stayed for the atmosphere. We felt pampered. The food exceeded all our expectations, both in taste and appearance. And the surprise was... the service. I've never seen such efficient and fast service in a Dutch restaurant. Plus: several gluten-free options.

Kek Koffiebar in Delft never disappoints. Every time we go, we order our favorite combination: avocado toast with egg, sweet potato waffles, and a bowl of oatmeal—all delicious. The juices and coffees are especially good. It's also very kid-friendly: they have games and toys that make it fun for the kids while we relax. A perfect place for breakfast or lunch, we return every time we visit Delft!

Great brunch experience! We were expecting to have to wait a while for a table as we were told the place is really popular, but luckily we got a table right away. The staff was very friendly and the service great. The food was delicious with unique flavors and the chai latte was one of the best I have ever had (and I am having one everywhere I go). I've been twice, and both times I left very satisfied! There's a great variety of drinks, food, and snacks, sometimes with a unique but tasty twist. For example, I don't know who invented "Black Ginger Ale," but if you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend it.
