Finally, halal KFC in the Netherlands!

Excellent service and very fast. Ordered via KFC Pick Kanal and picked up within 5 minutes. The food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant was busy as this KFC sells Halal chicken. But everything went very quickly for other guests as well. An employee was constantly working in the lobby to keep everything clean. All in all, a perfect visit.

Ordered, never received anything !!! Very bad

It’s happened while I placed my order on site that I waited more than 40 minutes to get my order whereas one person who’s not wearing kfc uniform handing over the orders to the customers. Unfortunately my order was ready for long time remaining on the shelf! The person tried to give the order where it was cold and I refuse to receive it when the person asked me to touch it to show that’s still hot and it’s not! The person said once you touch the food you have to accept “by force like” when I raised my voice then he ask someone to replace my order with freshly prepared one. The shocking is my order was with less of two pieces as punishment or what?! I went back to show him but he wasn’t there and informed on of the staff that for the credibility of KFC is not good even she tried her best to replace the missing pieces and I refuse cause it was too embarrassing to me.

Is this KFC also Halal certified?

It's a shame the service is so bad here. We wanted to pay in cash but were 2 euros short and wanted to pay by card. This wasn't allowed. They forgot to put half of our order in the bag when we mentioned it; nobody paid attention, and the other half had gotten cold by then. Nobody speaks decent Dutch.

My friend ordered a variety box for two. 6 pieces of chicken were missing! On top of that, the fries and chicken arrived soggy from the cola that had spilled over the food... Terrible service.

I went twice in a week and got dry chicken and fries every time; it wasn't fresh. The employees are talking to each other more than working. The manager inside, in particular, sits chatting more than managing.

Bad service, got soggy fries. And only received 1 of the 3 fries I ordered. There is always hassle there. Angry staff. It is dirty.

This is the first time I had to leave a review due to how the experience was. First of all, we tried ordering but struggled due to how annoying the interface was. After finally being able to pay, we were unable to enter a table number since there weren't any signs. This meant no table service, which is manageable. The real problem starts here. After this, we wait a grand total of 20 - 30 minutes for our food due to them ignoring our order whilst struggling with someone else's. Finally, after the manager asks why we were waiting for a while, they realized that they forgot multiple orders, including our own. The food itself was good. We weren't able to buy coleslaw but the price was decent, so no issues there. After eating though, we encountered another problem. We order something else, and get another item that we certainly didn't ask for instead of the item we wanted. The employee said that they definitely heard us say that, but everyone, including the person who ordered the item didn't even know the item we got existed. Luckily the manager intervened and solved the issue, however, it left us displeased. This is the first time I've had to leave a review due to how bad it was in general. The only reason it isn't a 1 star is due to my love for kfc, and the fact that the manager was good and the employee seemed overworked. I can't truly blame them, since customer service can lead to stressful situations.

Delicious food and quick service

This is the worst place I've ever been to. The ordering machines have a mind of their own, and ordering anything is a real quest. The machines don't have a refillable cash register, and there's never a receipt. You have to wait an incredibly long time to order, simply because the employees are lazy. I don't recommend anyone go here.

Having to wait too long for your order. And then your order is taken incorrectly as well. Once again today, I ordered something at the drive-thru after a long workday. I apologized to the employee for taking too long. Subsequently, I didn't provide the complete order, even though he indicated that he had given some extras. I had ordered a bucket with two fries, but I received one fry short. I went back and pointed it out. The comment I got from the employee was that I could have gone to McDonald's instead. If your staff treats customers like this, I think you are offering a lot of customers to the competition. That is not how you should treat your customers, and I remained polite, said thank you, and drove away to avoid a discussion.

The ordering kiosk is just very complicated and kept jumping back a few steps. Afterwards, it turned out we had ordered and paid for 3 ice creams. The ice cream was really tasty! The rest was NOT. The chicken was not crispy and had very little flavor. The fries weren't crispy either, tasted like cardboard. TERRIBLE. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered via Uber 1.5 hours earlier; I could see that the delivery driver had already been at the location for an hour, so I drove there. The driver apologized that the food wasn't ready yet. When I spoke to the staff about it, the order was prepared immediately. It wasn't very busy, so it's ridiculous that they made the delivery driver wait so long. Very bad, especially considering that if it takes that long you would normally get angry at the delivery driver, but this was entirely KFC's fault.

The meal took over an hour, even though my location is 10 minutes away. Only to then receive lukewarm food and the wrong drink. This is already the second time; there won't be a next time!

The good is really good and the service is amazing

Let's start on the positives; the place was clean, but that says it all. It is not worth your money or time; if you want a good meal, choose something else. To begin with, the fries were cold and saltless. When you then try to ask for salt, the manager looks at you and walks away when you say hello. Other staff members look at you too and then turn their backs on you. If you happened to be in the mood for sauce, bring scissors because those packets won't open; the staff can't manage it themselves either. Besides getting the wrong bucket, the chicken was cold and dry. Going back to ask for another bucket takes ten years, so I advise against it.

Tried KFC again after a few years... regretted it immediately. Cold food, bad service, and received the wrong order. Fortunately, the colleagues get along well with each other. As a customer, you are completely ignored. Don't understand where that 3.5 out of 5 comes from. They must have been robots or employees. Some reviews I have read match my experience. These are reviews from months and years ago, and by the looks of it, nothing has changed.

Poor service. The ordering machines malfunction constantly. The staff does not speak Dutch, and you do not get decent carrier bags. When I got home by bike with my order, the soda cups fell over and spilled. In short, 1 star is already too much.

As I always do, I wanted to place an order by bike at the drive-thru. Even though the employee saw me and noticed that I had already been waiting in line for 20 minutes, they waited until it was my turn to tell me that I am not allowed to order there. When it was finally my turn, I was told that orders by bike are not accepted. If this is a fixed rule, why was I able to order here normally before? And if it is not allowed, why wasn't I warned immediately instead of being made to wait 20 minutes? I find this very unfriendly and unclear.

Before you could even get in, you had to pass a group of 10-year-olds on fat bikes. After ordering, after 20 minutes we asked where our food was, oh yes, we'll make it right. Finally, after 35 minutes, we received our food without an apology. *By the way, it wasn't busy at all. 1+ point: the fries were warm, which isn't the case at many other fast-food restaurants.

Hello everyone, the price is already very high and then things also arrive less than what you ordered so I will not go to this branch anymore and the bag was full of oil in terms of hygiene this is really a minus point. This is a shame and hopefully it will improve in the future with this branch.

One of the best fast food restaurants. Their meals are delicious and their offers are constant. I recommend downloading the app from the store and checking out all the available offers. The discount in the app is fantastic. I highly recommend visiting the branch or using the app. 👍

KFC Akerpoort Amsterdam Osdorp: WORTHLESS!! Every time I've picked up an order here, both inside and through the drive-thru, the contents are wrong. They forget the sauces, or the soda is sugar-free, which I find absolutely unacceptable. And now something else: a large (!!) menu, but the fries are in a bag that I always got with a small or medium menu. Last time I've been here. They're idiots. Too lazy to work, let alone think. Not recommended!!

Worst service in the whole area of Amsterdam, they should close and fire whoever has been working there and never let them work again

Went there around 11:45 pm but it turned out to be closed, while the app says it's open until midnight.

I saw the manager herself updating reviews from customer's phone to improve the rating. This is not an honest way to improve rating. Cz it doesn't fix the customer experience. So, you should consider this fact. I didn’t find anything bad rather than this. But this fact itself is a BIG NOO for me.

I've never experienced such slow service. The owner of the company desperately needs to replace his staff and pay them properly. Our order didn't arrive until 1 hour and 23 minutes later! The food was freezing! It's a real disgrace.

Our order was messed up for the second time. We called, and they said they'd send us a new one. We waited an hour and a half, but no one showed up. We called, and eventually they hung up and blocked our number. The attitude was terrible. I'll never order from them again.

Staff is very cool and friendly

If you order something vegetarian, they give you things that aren't vegetarian. Especially if you're Muslim, you want veggie food. But no, they just give you junk that isn't vegetarian. Terrible service, yuck. They're not serious about their work at all. And the food is cold, too.

I never write reviews, but this place is so consistently BAD about delivering food on time that it's become incredibly frustrating. The Uber app shows drivers waiting longer than 10-20 minutes for their food, even after they arrive to pick it up. I hope the management or the head office sees this and does something about it. Every time, no matter what time you order, you almost always wait an hour, even though the estimated time is 20-30 minutes.

I've been waiting for 15 minutes for my order, when it finally came, the lady didn't know it was take away, so she spent another 5 minutes to place in a bag. This is the slowest restaurant I've ever been. There's seems to be no managers or anything. So many people working like zombies walking around and not doing anything. They didn't even have change of coins to give to a customer.

Absolutely horrible experience. They refuse to make orders when you order through a delivery service. And then won’t cancel the order to refund you your money. We ordered because it was only supposed to take 30 minutes and my children need to go to sleep and now we are going to have to throw out the food when it gets here because we’re having to get dinner for our kids from somewhere else. Here on vacation and just an absolutely horrible experience.

Tasty and everything was good, only the food was tasty but the communication was a bit difficult.

This is really the worst KFC we have in the Netherlands
